알루미나계열 속경성 도로 보수재료 개발에 따른 경제성 분석 (Economic Analysis with Development of Rapid Setting Alumina-based Binder for Road Repair)

  • 내 공용중인 고속도로의 60%는 콘크리트로 포장이 되어 있으며, 그중 50% 이상의 도로가 설계 수명 이상 사용으로 인해 포장 손상, 줄눈부 파손, 부분 탈락 등의 다양한 문제가 발생하고 있다. 하지만 기존 도로 구조물의 보수보강은 높은 비용과 그로인한 복잡한 유지관리가 발생하므로 경제적인 보수보강 재료의 개발이 시급하다. 본 연구에서는 도로보수재료로서 기초물성 평가를 위해 칼슘 알루미나 시멘트에 OPC를 무게 대비 0, 10, 20%로 혼입한 재료를 적용하여 응결시간, 압축강도, 휨강도를 측정하였다. 그 결과, 최소물성 기준 및 재료 단가 측면을 고려하였을 때 20% OPC의 경우가 최적배합임을 도출하였다. 또한 일반적인 보수재료들을 이용한 특정 도로의 공사비용 산정을 위해, 상용 프로그램(CA4PRS)을 사용하여 경제성 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 20% OPC의 경우 총 시공 및 이용자 비용으로 각각 40.52, 15.77억 원이 발생하였으며, 총합으로 비교 시 가장 경제성이 높은 재료로 판단되었다.

The Buyer's Remedies for Lack of Conformity under the PELS

  • This article attempts to describe and analyze the rules on the buyer's remedies for lack of conformity under PELS. It shows that such remedies under the PELS operate in a two-tier remedial scheme which is alien to both domestic and international legal systems. That is, repair and replacement take the position of primary remedy, whereas termination, price reduction and damages are secondary remedies which are available only where the primary remedies cannot be invoked. Notwithstanding its superiority, the PELS have some drawbacks in several aspects. First, the PELS seems to place its focus on the factor of cost except the other factors, for instance, the significance of the lack of conformity, when one decides whether the first tier remedies cause the seller unreasonable effort or expense. It is argued that the factors can be considered by referring to art. 1:302 PECL. Second, the PELS does not expressively provide any exclusion of the seller's right to choose between repair or replacement on the basis of unreasonable uncertainty in reimbursing the expenses advanced by the buyer. It argues that if there is such uncertainty, it should be regarded as causing the buyer an unreasonable inconvenience under art. 4:204(1). Third, the PELS does not seem to properly reflect the consumer's interests in that most consumers prefer to have the absolute right of termination as against the commercial sellers who have a relatively stronger bargaining position. The reasons for that is that there is a big hurdle, i.e., a hierarchy of remedies, to be overcome by the consumer to battle with the commercial seller, and that unavoidable vagueness in defining a minor lack of conformity has been often used against the consumer, but in favour of the commercial seller with a strong bargaining position.

On determining a non-periodic preventive maintenance schedule using the failure rate threshold for a repairable system

  • Maintenance activities are regarded as a key part of the repairable deteriorating system because they maintain the equipment in good condition. In practice, many maintenance policies are used in engineering fields to reduce unexpected failures and slow down the deterioration of the system. However, in traditional maintenance policies, maintenance activities have often been assumed to be performed at the same time interval, which may result in higher operational costs and more system failures. Thus, this study presents two non-periodic preventive maintenance (PM) policies for repairable deteriorating systems, employing the failure rate of the system as a conditional variable. In the proposed PM models, the failure rate of the system was restored via the failure rate reduction factors after imperfect PM activities. Operational costs were also considered, which increased along with the operating time of the system and the frequency of PM activities to reflect the deterioration process of the system. A numerical example was provided to illustrate the proposed PM policy. The results showed that PM activities performed at a low failure rate threshold slowed down the degradation of the system and thus extended the system lifetime. Moreover, when the operational cost was considered in the proposed maintenance scheme, the system replacement was more cost-effective than frequent PM activities in the severely degraded system.

  • Analysis data of basics which are used for LCC(Life Cycle Cost) analysis of buildings and maintenance plan, are demanded to secure according as replacement cycle of repairs of apartment houses has come. However, investigation techniques and systems for investigating condition of deterioration of apartment houses, have not been made yet in Korea. For this reason, this study was wanted to make investigation techniques and systems, so the process for maintenance of apartment houses was researched and the required quality and deterioration factors of interior/exterior materials were investigated. As a result Check-List for investigating condition of deterioration, was made. if this is used during a nonscheduled, a routine, a regular and a urgency check, the methodical investigation will be achieved. Furthermore, if this is used for maintenance of apartment houses, it will be helped to select the repair cycle and the long-term repair plan.

중앙난방방식을 지역난방.소형열병합난방방식으로 전환시의 경제성 비교 분석 (Analysis for the Economic efficiency of District Heating and Gas Engine Co-generation System comparing with Central Heating System)

  • This study was conducted to calculate the LCC of a apartment complex with a type of heating system, district heating and cogeneration system. For the purpose of analyzing LCC according to size of apartment complex, 500, 1,500 and 4,000 houses of model apartment selected. This research performs design of heating system and the life cycle cost analysis including an initial cost, energy cost, maintenance and operation cost, replacement cost and renovation cost during the project period(15years). According to the calculated results, 1) Initial cost of cogeneration system with 500, 1500 and 4000 houses is higher than district heating system each of 20%, 13%, 12%. 2) In case of cogeneration system, the payback period by electric generation is 5.21, 4.92 and 4.47 years and saving cost was calculated 29 billion won, 94 billion won and 262 billion won after payback period. 3) Cogeneration system LCC was 1.12, 1.07 and 1.06 times larger than district system with the size of apartment complex. According to the case of this study district heating system is more efficient than cogeneration system in terms of the reduction of LCC. 4) Gas Engine Co-generation System is more efficient than other systems because it can collect progressive part from electric charge progressive stage system. However, the efficiency is decreasing because of raising of fuel bills(LNG) and lowering of power rate for house use. Especially the engine is foreign-made so the cost of maintenance and repair is high and the technical expert is short. 5) District heating is also affected by fuel bills so we should improve energy efficiency through recovering of waste heat(incineration heat, etc.). Also, we should supply district cooling on the pattern of heat using of let the temperature high in winter and low in summer.

능력 스펙트럼법을 이용한 건물 지진 손실 평가 방법 (A Methodology of Seismic Damage Assessment Using Capacity Spectrum Method)

  • 본 연구는 지진으로 인하여 발생한 건물의 피해액을 보다 객관적으로 예측 평가할 수 있는 ACM(Advanced Component Method) 개발 방법에 관한 것이다. ACM은 지금까지의 재래식 손실 평가방법에 사용된 구조 기술자들의 주관적인 관점과 전문가적 견해에서 탈피하여, 지진의 크기에 따른 구조형식이 각기 다른 건물들의 내진 성글 평가 기술에 바탕을 둔 지진 손실 평가 방법이다. 그 과정을 살펴보면 먼저 선별된 전형적인 건축 구조물에 대하여 비선형 정적 내진 해석인 pushover 해석을 실행하여 그들의 건물 능력도와 각 부재의 비선형 응답을 계산한다. 지진하중은 ADRS(Acceleration-Displacement Response Spectrum)의 응답 가속도와 응답 변위의 형태로 표현하여 이를 건물 능력도와 함께 능력 스펙트럼법(Capacity Spectrum Method) 기법을 이용하여 건물의 내진 성능점을 찾는다. 또한 전체 건물을 주요 구조체인 기둥, 보, 슬래브 등과 비구조체인 비내력 벽판, 외벽 장식용 요소 등을 각각 분리하여 건물 각 부재들의 지진 응답 변위에 따른 피해율을 산출한다. 이들 각 부재들의 피해는 그 부재들의 특성에 따른 적절한 보수보강기법과 그에 따른 비용산정 모델을 이용하여 각 부재의 금전적인 피해액으로 전환한다. 마지막으로 Monte Carlo기법을 이용하여 지금까지 얻은 건물의 응답과 각 부재들의 지진에 따른 피해율, 그리고 그 부재들의 비용산정 모델을 종합하여 전체 건물의 최종의 피해율을 얻는다. 특히, 현존하는 건물에 사용된 재료와 설계 가정 하중의 가변성에 따른 건물 거동에 대한 불확실성 등을 고려하기 위하여 Latin Hypercube 추출 기법을 사용하며, 마지막으로 본 연구의 사례평가를 위하여 과거 일어났던 지진 피해정보와 손실 자료들을 바탕으로 ACM방법과 재래식 방법을 이용한 건물 손실 평가 방법을 비교 분석하였다.

강교의 생애주기비용 최적설계 (Optimum Life-Cycle Cost Design of Steel Bridges)

  • 본 논문에서는 강교의 실용적인 생애주기비용 (LCC) 최적설계를 위한 일반화된 정식화와 LCC 설계시스템 모델을 제안하였다. 강교 최적설계를 위한 LCC는 초기비용, 직접 복구 (rehabilitation) 비용과 인적 혹은 물적 손실비용의 직접비용, 도로이용자비용, 그리고 사회-경제 손실비용을 포함한 간접비용의 현재가치의 합으로 정식화하였다. 특히 본 논문에서는 교량이 속해 있는 도로의 네트워크를 고려한 도로이용자비용과 사회-경제 손실비용 산정을 위한 새로운 모델을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 LCC 정식화 모델은 실제 강박스 거더교와 강상판형교의 LCC 최적설계 문제에 적용하였고, 다양한 경우에 대한 LCC의 효율성에 대해 비교 고찰하였다. LCC를 고려한 강교량의 최적설계는 설계시방서에 기초한 설계방법뿐만 아니라 초기비용 절감을 위한 최적설계 방법과 비교할 때 더욱 합리적이고, 경제적이며, 안전한 설계를 유도할 수 있으리라 판단된다.

LCC 분석을 통한 공조설비 내구연한 산정 (An Estimation of the Economic Life Expectancy of the Building Service Equipment with LCC Analysis)

  • It is difficult for a superintendent or an operator of building service systems and equipment to decide the reasonable time for management of himself due to the shortage of his specialty for repair or replacement of a part of or whole equipment. But The reliable life expectancies for various building service equipment have not been prepared yet. This study shows the difference of optimal economic life and the decrease of running cost and energy consumption according to management level of the building equipment by the LCC analysis. The numerical model for building HVAC system was composed and analyses were performed for several parameters with management.

고효율 LED를 이용한 유도등의 원격제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Remote Control for Exit Sign Using High Efficiency LED)

  • 유도등은 일정한 조도를 가지고 상용전원에 의하여 항상 점등되어 있어야 함으로 전력소비 및 광원 교체등 경제적 손실과 관리상의 문제가 있게 된다. 본 논문은 이제까지 광원으로 사용하고 있던 형광등이나 백열전구 대신에 소비전력이 적은 고효율 발광다이오드를 사용하여 전력소비의 절감과, 점검시의 문제점을 개선하기 위해 원격제어가 가능한 새로운 유도등회로를 제안하고 실험한 것이다. 그 결과 원격제어 스위치에 의한 유도등 점검을 제어각의 범위에서 쉽게 제어할 수 있었으며 반응시간은 600〔$\mu$s〕로 매우 빠르게 동작하였다. 또한 출력 상승시간(Rise time)과 하강고시간(Fall time)은 최대 200〔ns〕로 예민하게 반응하였다. 광원으로 고효율 발광다이오드를 사용함으로 광원을 교체해야 하는등의 문제를 제거하였으며 전력소비를 감소시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

신뢰성이론의 필요성과 효과적인 교육시스템 구축 (Necessity of Reliability Theory and Establishment of Effective Education System)

  • Recently, the subject of reliability attracts a great deal of domestic and international attentions and the extensive research activities are being conducted as well. Such trend exists mainly due to the fact that the research on the subject of reliability not only contributes to the theoretical developments, but also may find a wide range of applications in practice over several fields. In particular, the research regarding the maintenance policy incorporating certain types of warranty for repairable system and its application is being performed extensively by many researchers, and their efforts seem more concentrated on developing new maintenance policies which minimize the expected operating cost incurred for replacement and repair of the system, while keeping the system at high reliability. Effective maintenance policy may reduce the operating cost and decrease the downtime of the system during its mission period and consequently, increase the productivity of the system. In this article, the major areas of interest in the field of reliability and its historic perspectives are given briefly and the theoretical aspects in several fields of reliability including the maintenance and warranty policies is also discussed. Furthermore, the current domestic situation regarding the education and research on reliability is presented, along with the importance of reliability theory and the difficulty of training reliability personnel. Finally, the author's opinion for effective education system is proposed.
