원자로 스팀 제너레이터 홀의 수리 및 자동 검사를 위한 원격제어 로봇시스템 설계 (Design of a Remotely-Controlled Robot System for Automatic Inspection and Repair of Steam Generator Hole in Nucuear Power Plant)

  • In this paper we propose a new approach to the development of the automatic vision system to examine and repair the steam generator tubes at remote distance. In nuclear power plants workers are reluctant of works in steam generator because of the high radiation environment and limited working space. It is strongly recommended that the examination and maintenance works be done by an automatic system for the protection of the operator from the radiation exposure. Digital signal processors are used in implementing real time recognition and examination of steam generator tubes in the proposed vision system. Performance of proposed digital vision system is illustrated by simulation and experiment for similar steam generator moldel.

송전선로 직선슬리브 원격점검 방법 및 장치 (Development of a Remote Inspection Method and Device for Line Sleeves on Transmission Line)

  • Line sleeves, which used to connect ACSR cables when transmission lines were constructing, sometimes cause power transmission failure due to deterioration and corrosion. Therefore, power transmission line should be inspected regularly to prevent national disaster. Current inspection tool detects insertion length of transmission line on line sleeves, the inspection tool includes enormous error by operator. Moreover, the system is not controlled remotely, negligent accident would be caused while inspecting. To deal with those problems, KEPCO reviewed several ways to inspect line sleeves and proposes new method to inspect line sleeve by measuring magnetic flex which penetrate junction of steel and aluminum sleeve. The developed inspection tool is reliable enough to detect eccentric sleeves. Also, the developed inspection device was applied on actual transmission line and verified its effectiveness.

  • After building a ship in a shipyard, there are so many repeated inspection of welding seam defects and painting status before delivering to the ship's owner. An inspection on the bottom part of a ship in commercial service should be done in every two years for the purpose of safety and for the prevention of ship speed deterioration. conventional welding seam inspection systems are rely on the visual inspection by human or the ultrasonic inspection for the selective part of a ship. This paper suggests a remote controlled inspection system for the examination of large ships or steel structures. The proposed system moves in contact with the ship under inspection and have a CCD camera to provide visual-guidance information to a remotely located human worker. Additionally this system utilizes a weld line tracking algorithm for an optimal position control. We verified the effectiveness of the inspection system by experimental data.

  • 본 논문에서는 이동하는 로봇을 제어하기 위한 웹 상에서의 시스템 구성을 논의한다. 즉, 웹에서의 제어 방법을 구체적으로 설명하고 실험한 결과를 나타내었다. 시스템은 서버 측에 있는 간단한 인터페이스를 엑세스하여 원격제어 한다. 이를 위해, 원격 사용자는 인터넷상에서 시스템을 원격으로 조절하기 위하여 www 브라우저가 설치된 범용 컴퓨터가 있어야 한다. 원격 사용자가 서버 측의 html파일을 구동하여 신호를 입력하면, 자바로 작성된 프로그램이 직렬포트에 연결된 기기를 구동한다. 원격제어 신호는 적외선 센서를 거쳐 라인트레이서에 전달되어 운행을 원격으로 제어한다. 웹에서의 시스템의 동작 확인을 위하여 시스템의 기기로는 라인트레이서를 사용하였다.
