수도권 개별입지 공장의 시공간적 입지특성 분석 (Spatial-Temporal Pattern Analysis of Unplanned Factory Locations in the Seoul Metropolitan Area Using FEMIS Data)

  • 본 연구는 수도권을 대상으로 개별공장의 시공간적 확산을 분석하고 정책적 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 공장의 입지는 개별입지와 계획입지로 나눌 수 있다. 계획입지의 경우, 공장 설립의 기간이 오래 걸리고 높은 비용과 규제 때문에 개별공장의 설립이 쉽지 않다. 그러나 개별입지 공장은 설립 절차가 간단하여 지대 가격이 저렴한 비도시지역을 중심으로 개별입지 공장 난개발이 증가하였다. 공장 난개발의 문제점은 공장 주변의 도로 및 환경오염 처리 시설과 같은 인프라 부족을 야기하고, 쾌적한 환경과 도시 경관을 훼손하며, 주변지역 거주민의 생활환경을 악화시킨다. 본 연구의 분석자료는 공장설립온라인지원시스템 자료를 ArcGIS Pro를 활용하여 2001년부터 2016년까지 수도권 지역에 설립된 개별공장의 입지를 시공간적으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수도권 전체적으로 살펴보면 개별입지 공장은 기존의 산업단지나 공업입지 주변에 집중적으로 형성되는 것을 발견하였다. 이러한 이유는 집적지 주변에서 얻을 수 있는 외부효과라고 판단된다. 둘째, 서울시의 경우 개별입지 공장은 주거지역에 많이 설립되고 있어 주거와 공장의 혼재가 발생하고 있다. 셋째, 경기도의 개별입지 공장은 비도시지역 내 관리지역에 많이 입지하는 것으로 나타났다. 비도시지역 내 관리지역에서의 공장 난개발은 경관 훼손, 인프라 부족 등 사회적 비용을 초래할 수 있다. 본 연구는 수도권지역을 대상으로 개별공장의 시공간 확산과정과 특징을 분석하여 향후 개별공장 난개발을 제어하기 위한 정책적 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

탕전실의 시설 기준에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Facility Standard of Herbal Dispensaries)

  • Objectives: Herbal dispensaries can be installed separately from medical institutions. This study was done to suggest directions of regulation on management of externally installed herbal dispensaries. Methods: In this study, we visited and investrigated 7 representative herbal dispensaries to understand current status of herbal dispensaries. After comprehending current domestic regulations on herbal dispensaries, we referred "Management Practice on Dispensary Facility of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Medical Institution", "Enforcement Rule of Decree on Institution Standard of Manufacturing and Importation for Drugs, etc." and "Enforcement Rule of Food Sanitation Act" to suggest improved regulations for herbal dispensaries. Results: We suggested reasonable regulations for facility standards including location of building, dispensary room, water supply facility, lavatory and storage facility, etc.. Conclusions: We hope that results of this study could be baseline data for developing regulations on facility standards of herbal dispensaries.

보행자 다리 하체 모형의 차량 충돌해석 (Impact Analysis of a Pedestrian Lower Legform Model)

  • Recently, the pedestrian protection regulations of Europe and Japan are becoming more stringent. However, it is difficult to evaluate the performance of protection because each regulation has different test conditions such as dummy, impact speed and so on. In this study, we construct a finite element model of pedestrian lower legform impactor prescribed in EEVC (European Experimental Vehicle Committee) W/G 10, and performed a impact analysis between the impactor and the front end module of vehicle. The simulations are carried out by using LS-DYNA3D, which is a well-known nonlinear dynamic simulation software. The analysis results according to various impact location show the impact characteristics of the lower legform.

수소 취급설비의 폭발위험장소에 관한 연구 (A Study on Explosive Hazardous Areas in Hydrogen Handling Facility)

  • Safety of hydrogen handling facilities is needed as supply of hydrogen cars has been expanded recently. In this study, the adequacy of safety regulations of hydrogen handling facilities and the risk of damage with hydrogen leakage were studied. The range of explosion hazard location of the hydrogen filling plant was investigated using the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, Explosive hazardous area is influenced by leakage type, hole size and sectional area. When the conditions of KS standard are applied, range explosive hazardous area is expanded 7.05 m, maximum. It is about 7 times larger than exceptional standard of hydrogen station. Meanwhile, distance from leakage point to 25% LEL of hydrogen is investigated 1.6 m. Considering the shape of charging hose, regulation of hydrogen station is appropriate.

Distribution of Neurons in the Lateral Reticular Nucleus Projecting to Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar Segments , of the Spinal Cord in the Rat

  • Location of the neurons in the lateral reticular nucleus projecting to dorsal horn of the cervical, thoracic, or lumbar spinal cord was investigated in the rat using the technique of retrograde transport of horseradish peroxidase. The projection was bilateral with ipsilateral predominance. Neurons projecting to the cervical spinal cord were located near the medial, dorsal, and lateral perimeter of the magnocellular division of the lateral reticular nucleus, whereas cells projecting to the thoracic and lumbar spinal cord were localized in the medial and dorsal boundaries of the magnocellular division. The labeled neurons were distinctly multipolar in shape and measured approximately 10-15 $\mu m$ in their greatest transverse diameter. A few neurons were also observed in the subtrigeminal nucleus, whereas few cells were in the parbocellular division. These observations provide an anatomical substrate for the functional implication of the lateral reticular nucleus in the regulation of spinal nociceptive transmission and vascular hemodynamics via the descending pathway into the spinal cord.

Autonomous Maze Solving Robot

  • Autonomous robots are intelligent machines that are capable of performing task in the world themselves with little or no human intervention. One of the main reason autonomous robots gained popularity in human's world is their ability to perform task with high degree of precision, accuracy and also consistency. One of the most studied fields in autonomous robot is the ability of decision making in robots. To tackle the ability of robots to make decision, this paper proposed an Autonomous Maze Solving Robot that is able to solve a maze using the optimum solution. The maze and the design of the robot are in compliance with IEEE Micromouse competition rules and regulation. Micromouse is an autonomous maze solving robot that shall be able to explore a maze on its own from a predefined starting location and find the optimum path to reach the predefined goal in the maze without human's intervention.

튜브형상에 따른 배기가스 재순환 냉각 장치 열전달 성능 평가 (Heat Transfer Analysis of EGR Cooler with Different Tube Shape)

  • With the Euro-4 regulation coming into effect, the domestic car industry is forced to look for newer options to reduce NOX in the exhaust. EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) Cooler is an effective method for the reduction of NOX form a diesel engine. High efficiency, low pressure loss and compactness are desirable features of an EGR Cooler. The cooling performance of EGR depends on the shape of tubes and the location of the entrance and exit. This paper reports the computational work conducted to estimate the performance of EGR cooler with three different cross section tubes and a triangular spiral tube. Three dimensional computation results show that the triangular tube is more effective than circular and rectangular tube. The most effective geometry is a triangular spiral tube with offset inlet and outlet locations.

  • Approximately 200 individual skeletal elements, which differ in shape and size, are the building blocks of the vertebrate skeleton. Various features of the individual skeletal elements, such as their location, shape, growth and differentiation rate, are being determined during embryonic development. A few skeletal elements, such as the lateral halves of the clavicle and parts of the skull are formed by a process called intramembranous ossification, whereby mesenchymal cells differentiate directly into osteoblasts, while the majority of skeletal elements are formed via endochondral ossification. The latter process starts with the formation of a cartilaginous template, which eventually is being replaced by bone. This requires co-regulation of differentiation of the cell-types specific for cartilage and bone, chondrocytes and osteoblasts, respectively. In recent years it has been demonstrated that Wnt family members and their respective intracellular pathways, such as non-canonical and the canonical $Wnt/{\beta}$-catenin pathway, play important and diverse roles during different steps of vertebrate skeletal development. Based on the recent discoveries modulation of the canonical Wnt-signaling pathway could be an interesting approach to direct stem cells into certain skeletal lineages.

지역간 균형성장을 위한 지역정책의 효과분석 (An Empirical Study on Effectiveness of Korean Regional Policies for Balanced Development)

  • The most important objective of the national development policy in Korea is the balanced regional development through the mitigation of concentration to the Capital region and the further development of other regions. Although various national policies have been formulated so far, the consequences of such policies for the balanced regional development have been unsatisfactory. This paper attempted to estimate regional growth factos through regression method. According to the results of this study, the differentiated regional policy for promotion and regulation to the location of firms and colleges and technological development have been operated only partially but not comprehenisively nor systematically. Especially, much of financial assistance has not been differentiated regionally. This study is expected to contribute to the formulation of the rational regional policy in future.

  • Recent recovery of the Korean economy drives a rapid increase in utility consumption and requires more stable utility supply and maintenance. However, power location security hardship, reinforcement of international environmental regulation and a huge cost of power plant construction have increased the burden laid on the stable supply. In addition, an efficient and flexible load management is required more than any era since an increment of the rate of increase in cooling load is expected. Therefore, according as the necessity of direct load control for cooling load during the summer in Korea was on the rise, direct load control systems by Internet communication method are constructed at five commercial buildings. Based on practical load control, this study proposes various application modes and communication methods prior to extension diffusion of direct load control hereafter.
