It is difficult to make which customers want in restaurant industry because of IMF situation. Therefore, utilization of service marketing is needed by best effect through least investment in restaurant industry. The background of restaurant industry is not directly related to the improvement of tourism industry. We should give a hand to tourism and restaurant industry by holding international events. so the way of thinking among people is changing. And importing of famous foreign brand and opening shops are accellerating the improvement of tourism and restaurant industry. In this perspective, improvement factors of restaurant industry are as follows : the increase of pst time, the increase of disposable income, the increase of woman's having jobs and double income, requirement of people about health food, the increase of nuclear family, and the change of viewpoint among people. This restaurant industry is service industry, and it sells invisible service except the aspect of selling menu. In addition, in terms of menu, price reduction strategy should be done by cost reduction and restructuring. The ultimate purpose of marketing is to increase sales and to do this we should increase the number of customers in shops. That means we should create new customers and try to attract customers who used to be regular in the shops. Therefore, the demonstration of management ability and positive reaction is really needed. So the most important things in marketing are as follows: proper strategy for double consumption, increasing the number of customers through new specific menu, menu life cycle according to menu item, menu development by considering customer, making recipe, enhancement of product quality and cost reduction by customer's opinion. We should concentrate on national menu first, and try to develop menu for international market. It is absolutely needed that we set up the menu product strategy through menu marketing with various products and constant study related to menu marketing is to be done.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the current operating management practices and tourist royalty of restaurants at the tourism provinces in Donghae city. Forty restaurants were surveyed for sales status, customer management, menu management, advertising, marketing strategy and seventy seven tourists replied to the attitudinal and behavioral aspects of customer royalty for regular visiting restaurant. Statistical data analyses were completed using the SPSS/WIN pact(age program for descriptive analysis, paired difference test, t-test, ANOVA, and pearson correlation. The results of quantitative analysis indicated that the average sales per day on a high-demand season were 1,571 thousand won and one on a slack season were 614 thousand won. The average check on a high-demand season(109 persons) and a slack season(38 persons) were significant difference(t=6.834, p<.001). A total of 93.5% of the restaurateurs answered that menu pricing was decided by the owner and 21.7% of the subjects used the only restaurant homepage in the advertising method. A total of 40.6% of the restaurants utilized the only kind service for regular customers and 35.1% of the subjects had no method for them. The results suggest that systematic management policies and marketing strafes for regular customer is very necessary. Also, the correlation between tourists' attitudinal and behavioral aspects of customer royalty for regular visiting restaurant was found out. High correlation was existed between the overall tourists' satisfaction on regular visiting restaurant, the intention to revisit(BCL 1, p<.001), the intention to recommend(BCL 2, p<.001), and indicators of customer royalty. Finally, restaurateurs at the tourism provinces should focus on marketing strategy to keep and improve current customer to rise the tourist royalty.

This study is the basic data on how much the relocation of military unit influenced to local economy based on the survey targeting local merchants in order to analyze the impact on local economy by the relocation of military unit. That is, this study has actually verified the impact of "sales volume factor, floating population factor, regular customers factor" so questionnaires were distributed and collected targeting local merchants. Research results The impact before and after the relocation of army division 35 was verified to be meaningful and practical. This study verified that the relocation of army division 35 has influence the local economy, more research of impact on the local economy by the relocation of military unit shall be continued.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual condition of fashion sales related persons and analyze their different role recognition in women's Ready-To-Wear shops. A questionnaire was administered to 378 fashion sales related persons in department stores and individual shops. Data were analyzed by using crosstabs, $X^2$, t-test, Scheffe's test and ANOVA by using of SPSS PC program. The results of this study were as follows: 1. In the role of fashion salespersons, managers participated highly in the merchandise buying plan, actual merchandise buying and advertisement, and shopmasters participated in the management of salespersons and keeping good relation with customers and display. 2. There was significant difference according to the existence of shopmasters in sales promotion. Shops with shopmasters had regular sales and filed up customer cards. 3. Shopmasters and salespersons attached importance to fashion information, market information, sales result information, and managers attached importance to customer information, enterprise environment information in utilizing of informations. Managers considered customer survey very important but shopmasters and salespersons did not. Shopmasters, managers, and salespersons all attached importance to customers' preference survey as customers' information source. 4. There were significant differences in lifestyle survey, buying method survey, preference survey, street fashion survey, brand identity survey and advertizement effect survey of customers by the different roles of fashion salespersons. 5. There were significant differences in the degree of merchandise knowledge, service and after service in sales service recognition by the different roles of fashion salespersons.
This study investigates the effect of Alpha-numeric brand name on the product suitability, brand personality, and attitude. To do that we have chosen the functional sportswear, knowing the fact that the Alpha-numeric brand names are not hard to find in this industry. The changes have been made to Alpha-numeric names, such as the usage/non-usage of number, the size of number being used, the writing method, and the different typeface to suit for the study purpose. The results indicate that the Alpha-numeric brand names do have the effect on increasing the fitness for the product's brand. The bigger number and the cursive script will improve the product's suitability. The customers form positive attitude and favorability on the Alpha-numeric brand name compared to the regular brand name in this industry. The contribution of the study is to dig out the distinction of the communicational effects on the customers when the Alpha-numeric brand names take on the different forms. Therefore the current study enlights the practical value of Alpha-numeric brand name as part of the branding strategy.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the range of variation for commonly accepted ease in a business jacket and thus to find solutions to the problem of fit and ease in ready-to-wear jackets. This study was based on anthropometric measurements, pattern measurements, which were used to calculate ease amount according to each jacket part. The survey subjects were 493 males, between 25 to 59 years old, buying a jacket at stores in Seoul. In the results, the aesthetic purpose of a business jacket(custom-fit jacket) was clearly observed by the means of controlling the ease amount at chest, waist and hip. The ease at chest and waist(ready-to-wear) clearly revealed a difference among prototypes. This result can be explaned by the regular drops and the similar length-width proportions between sizes in ready-to-wear Jackets. Therefore, customers with varying body drop differences, who had to choose a homogeneous jacket drop, experienced too much ease at the Waist and Hip compared with custom-fit customers. In addition, the height could be an integral factor to affect the ease of jacket length and sleeve length. The ease at these parts was significantly different among height groups and showed negative relationships.

In this study, using a typical customer contact employees, and to target the delivery service industry employees the organization's service orientation and customer orientation by examining the impact on the quality of companies within the organization for growth and development needs and the importance of service orientation will be trying out for. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the chief executive of the organization to configure a service orientation and a detailed understanding of the factors that determine this by managing the organization to effectively come up with a way to make and ultimately the organization's service orientation, organizational culture can be positioned as effort should be taken. Second, service companies through regular training and education to maintain a certain level of service quality should be. Third, the service organization's service orientation is not a fad or a means of sustain and develop the company's survival strategy is to get out. To do this, good communication between the field and management can be achieved by a variety of channels to be established, and management's willingness to provoke sympathy for the employees should be provided.
Purpose - Non-verbal Communication with customers in restaurant business can play an important role because it affects customer behavior and attitudes as a means to develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of non-verbal communication with customers and the effect of the influence on customer satisfaction, trust, and revisit intention. Research design, data, methodology - In order to verify the research models and hypotheses of this study, questions were prepared for each variable and data were collected through questionnaires. The questionnaire survey was conducted from March 27, 2018 to April 17, 2018, for those who agreed with the citizens of the Jeju area who visited the restaurant recently. 50 out of 100 were conducted by internet survey and 50 were surveyed. Thus, a total of 100 responses were used using structural equation modeling with Smartpls 3.0. Results - The results of the study are as follows. First, non-verbal communication has a significant impact on customer emotion. Second customer emotion have a significant impact on customer trust and satisfaction. Third, Customer satisfaction had positive a significant effect on revisit intention. Fourth, Customer trust had positive a significant effect on revisit intention. Conclusions - The implications of this study are following as: The food service company should continuously provide non-verbal communication training to employees so that they can respond to customers with the right attitude and bright smile. In particular, in the case of restaurant franchises, customer response manuals should be created and distributed to the franchisees, and a regular training program for the franchisees should be implemented to provide the same service to the customer. Second, CEOs should have to worry about what kind of experience he or she has left since leaving the store. It is also necessary to constantly look at what customers experience in their stores or in their brands, and what emotions they form through their experiences. Third, the more satisfied or trusted customers are formed through the service of the employee, the more loyal the restaurant business will be, and the more likely it is to make continuous revisit and positive word-of-mouth activities..

In Decline Stage, it shall be groped for entry underdeveloped country or less advance nation, but there is no possibility to devote in enterprise, it shall be planned substitute menu development in order to withdraw. By inducting MLC concept, it shall be provided the available informations such as“how could some menu be circulate in some restaurant”“Accordingly do strengthen promotion activities or go to low developed area or overseas, or delete it from menuitems and so on”. In the time of decline some menu, it is judged to the time of plan(preparation) of new menu development. In the broad view, when consideration of the concept of menu life cycle, it shall be possible to know which menu is decayed and which menu is developed newly or grown-up, so it shall be provided the important information to estimate the tendency of changing menu and set-up a menu development plan.
The principal objective of this study was to assess the behavior of customers who visit hotel buffet restaurants. This information will provide us with a good marketing strategy, allowing us to control for different customer characteristics and focus on giving marketers useful clues that make it easy to understand the selective attributes for hotel buffet restaurants. Thus, the application of selective attributes is predicated on the results of the analysis. Additionally, this survey was completed by regular customers. The following are the concrete results of the study. First of all, customer's behaviors differ radically with the selective attributes of hotel buffet restaurants. The most crucial factors were found to be "quality of food", "hygiene & cleanliness", and "service". These factors have nothing to do with customer characteristics & demographic features. "Opinions of their relatives, colleagues" and "experience of restaurants" are all sources that substantially influence the selective attributes of restaurants and this is the only way to survive the ever-changing market situation. Finally, hotel buffet restaurants generally attempt to lure customers with healthy food, special corners, fresh vegetables, and fresh sashimi, as compared to the services provided by hotel outlets. According to upgrade service quality & restaurant interior, also, buffet restaurants tend to provide guests with a more charming. Food service companies should consider the question "what really is service?" and thus seek to provide a variety of events. Preparing for unforeseeable market situations, we should execute efficient marketing strategies in order to assure continued customer satisfaction.
