CANopen 네트워크 이용률 감소를 위한 PDO 패킹 메커니즘 (PDO Packing Mechanism for Reducing CANopen Network Utilization)

  • 최근 각광받고 있는 차량 내부 네트워크(In-Vehicle Network)의 일종인 CANopen 프로토콜은 다양한 벤더의 하드웨어 특성에 의존적인 CAN(Controller Area Network) 기반 응용 프로그램 개발의 문제점을 해결하고자 제안되었으며, 프로파일링(Profiling) 개념을 사용하여 CAN과 이의 응용 계층인 CAL(CAN Application Layer)에서 동작하는 모든 하드웨어 장치를 지원함에 따라 CAN 기반 응용 시스템의 개발 기간의 단축이 가능하다. 메시지 처리 성능(예: 최악 응답 시간)을 높이기 위해서는 CANopen 네트워크 이용률(Utilization)을 감소시킬 필요성이 있으며, 이를 위해 가능한 많은 메시지를 패킹(Packing)하여 전송함으로써, 메시지 전송 시 발생하는 메시지 프레임의 오버 헤드를 줄이는 것이 바람직하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 CAN의 응용 계층에서 동작하는 CANopen의 OB(Object Dictionary) 및 PDO(Process Data Object) 통신 서비스를 이용하는 PDO 패킹 메커니즘을 제안하였다. SAE(The Society of Automotive Engineers)에서 제공하는 벤치마크(Benchmark) 자료를 이용하여, 본 논문에서 제안한 메커니즘의 성능을 평가하였으며, 선행 연구에 비해 CANopen 네트워크 이용률이 약 10% 가량 감소하는 것을 확인하였다.

냉수 가글링이 비강 수술 후 환자의 갈증 및 구강 상태에 미치는 효과 (The Comparison of Moisturizing Effect of Cold Water Gargling, Wet Gauze Application and Humidification in Reducing Thirst and Mouth Dryness after Nasal Surgery)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to compare the moisturizing effect of cold water gargling, wet gauze application and humidification in reducing thirst and mouth dryness after nasal surgery. Method: Patients were randomly assigned into three groups of 19 subjects each. In the two intervention groups, each group was received hourly cold water gargling or wet gauze application for 4 hours postoperatively. In the control group, the subjects were received only humidification continuously on a bedside. We compared the thirst and oral condition at 0, 2, 4hours. after operation. Thirst was measured using VAS questionnaire, and oral condition(mouth dryness) by Oral Assessment Guide. Results: There was a significant difference among three groups in the level of thirst and mouth dryness. In the cold water gargling group, there was a significant decrease in thirst at 2, 4hours. In the wet gauze group, there was a significant decrease in thirst at 4hours. In the intervention group, there was a significant decrease in mouth dryness at 2, 4hours. In the control group, there was a significant decrease in mouth dryness at 4hours. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that the cold water gargling would be an effective nursing intervention to reduce thirst and mouth dryness postoperatively.

대학생에게 적용한 유칼립투스 아로마요법이 알레르기성 비염에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Eucalyptus Aroma Therapy on the Allergic Rhinitis of University Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of eucalyptus aroma therapy on relieving allergic rhinitis symptoms, improving learning ability and quality of life among university students. Methods: In this study, a non-equivalent control group repeated measured design was applied. Participants included 48 students (24 participants in the experiment and 24 participants in the control group) who were diagnosed with allergic rhinitis. Data were collected on 3 occasions, before eucalyptus aroma application, 4 weeks after the application, and 8 weeks after the application. Collected data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2$-test, Fishers exact test, independent t-test, repeated measured ANCOVA and paired t-test with SPSS 21.0. Results: There were significant differences in allergic symptoms (F=6.926, p=.002) and quality of life (F=3.793, p=.026) according to the time periods after aroma application. Conclusion: Eucalyptus aroma therapy is effective in reducing the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and enhancing the quality of life of university students. It is recommended that eucalyptus aroma therapy be used for university students with allergic rhinitis to reduce their symptoms, and it is recommended that the application of the therapy be extended over 4 weeks.

모바일 어플리케이션을 이용한 재난상황 발생 시 최적 대피경로 설정 (A Mobile Application for Navigating the Optimal Escape Route in Accidents and Emergency Situations)

  • In early 2011, the Fukushima nuclear power plant had greater damage due to earthquake in Japan, and the awareness of safety has increased. In particular, special response systems should be required to handle disaster situations in plant sites which are likely to occur for large disasters. In this study, a program is designed to set up optimum escape routes, by a smart phone application, when a disaster situation occurs. This program could get information of the cumulative damage from sensors and display the escape route of the smallest damage in real-time on the screen. Utilizing our application in real-time evacuation has advantage in reducing cumulative damage. The optimal evacuation route, focusing on horizontal path, is calculated based on getting the data of fire, detected radioactivity and hazardous gas. Thus, using our application provides information of optimal evacuation to people who even can not hear sensor alarms or do not know geography, without requiring additional costs except fixed sensors or server network deployment cost. As a result, being informed of real-time escape route, the user could behave rapidly with suitable response to individual situation resulting in improved evacuation than simply reacting to existing warning alarms.

초산모를 위한 산후관리 모바일 앱 개발 및 효과 검증 (Development and Validation of a Postpartum Care Mobile Application for First-time Mothers)

  • Purpose: The aims of the study were to develop mobile application for postpartum care of first-time mothers and to validate it's effect. Methods: Using a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design, 52 first-time mothers were recruited (26 each in experimental and control) and the experimental group used the mobile application for 6 weeks after delivery. Postpartum self-care knowledge and confidence, infant care knowledge and confidence, and postpartum depressive mood (Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale) were measured before discharge from the hospital and 6 weeks later. Results: Women who have used the postpartum care mobile application reported higher levels of postpartum self-care knowledge (p=.030) and confidence (p=.023) infant care knowledge (p=.001) and confidence (p=.004), while scores of postpartum depression (p=.021) were lower than those in the control group. Conclusion: The postpartum-care mobile application developed in this research may be effective in reinforcing knowledge and confidence for postpartum self-care and infant care and in reducing postpartum depressive mood.

치주치료 후 지각과민 감소를 위한 다이오드 레이저와 Ms coat 처치 직후 임상적 효과 비교 (The comparison clinical study effect of Diode Laser & Ms coat usage for dentinal hypersensitivity following Periodontal therapy)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of diode laser & desensitizing agents to overcome hypersensitizing root surfaces problem after periodontal treatment. 20 patients(60 teeth) presented were volunteered in this study. Diode laser & MS coat was respectively applied on hypersensitizing root surfaces after periodontal treatments. Following application they were evaluated immediately. The results were as follows: 1. The frequency and degree of root surface hypersensitivity levels were measured by the sequence of tactile and air stream. 2. Reduction of root surfaces hypersensitivity by tactile were for Diode laser and Ms coat application respectively $3.0294{\pm}2.0224$ and $3.2692{\pm}1.6139$. 3. Reduction of root surfaces hypersensitivity by air stream were for Diode laser and Ms coat apapplication respectively $3.0294{\pm}2.0224$ and $2.2692{\pm}1.6139$. 4, It could be said that Diode Laser and Ms coat application were significantly effective in reducing dentin hypersensitivity as far as concerned effect, Ms coat applicatio showed more effective than Diode laser. In conclusion, both methods were significantly effective in reducing dentinal hypersensitivity. Therefore, it was recommended that Diode laser and desensitizing agents could be used routinely for patients dentinal hypersensitivity following periodontal treatment.

초음속 이젝터 디퓨져 시스템에서의 충격파 발생기 응용 (Application of Shock Generator to Supersonic Ejector Diffuser System)

  • Supersonic ejectors are simple mechanical components, which generally perform mixing and recompression of two fluid streams. Ejectors have found many applications in engineering. In aerospace engineering, they are used for high altitude testing (HAT) of a propulsion system by reducing the pressure of a test chamber. It is composed of three major sections: a vacuum test chamber, a propulsive nozzle, and a supersonic exhaust diffuser (SED). This paper aims at the improvement in HAT facility by focusing attention on the vertical firing rocket test stand with shock generators. Shock generators are mounted inside the SED for improving the pressure recovery. The results clearly showed that the performance of the ejector-diffuser system was improved with the addition of shock generators. The improvement comes in the form of reduction of the starting pressure ratio and the vertical height of test stand. It is also shown that shock generators are useful in reducing the total pressure loss in the SED.

  • The Spin Tester(High Speed Balancing and Overspeed Test Facility), which is designed for the quality control of turbine, generator, and rotors was supposed to be constructed with the use of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete(SERC) for reducing the risk of accident while operation. However, it was very existence of fiber concrete due to there are two major concern in the SFRC work: one is existence of fiber ball due to inhomogeneous mixing, the other is the segregation of the concrete materials. To avoid these possible problems, the S/a was controlled about 55% to reduce the segregation and the high range AE water reducing agent was used to maintain the slump over the value of 18cm. With these careful consideratons, the SFRC work was done successfully by only using regular equipments like pump car and vibrator.

스트레스 인식변화기법의 공군 조종사 적용 효과 (The Effect of Applying Stress Cognitive Alteration Technique to Air Force Pilot)

  • Stress is the main source of a human error or can potentially contribute to it. Recently, the rate of accidents which is associated with human factors among the total aircraft accidents is showing a tendency of gradual increase. In order to prevent the accidents related to human factors, stress mitigation of the mission personnel is highly required. In this study, a 'stress cognitive alteration' technique, which is one of the stress relief methods, is applied to the Air Force pilots to verify if the technique is effective in reducing stress. The 'stress cognitive alteration' technique is comprised of two parts: a positive function of stress and a process to positively alter the physical, psychological response to stress. As a result of the application, it is found that this technique has an effect of reducing stress of the pilots under a relatively high level of stress.

  • In order to reduce the cost of product and save the processing time, optimal nesting of two-dimensional part is an important application in number of industries like shipbuilding and garment making. There have been many studies on finding the optimal solution of two-dimensional nesting. The problem of two-dimensional nesting has a non-deterministic characteristic and there have been various attempts to solve the problem by reducing the size of problem rather than solving the problem as a whole. Heuristic method and linearlization are often used to find an optimal solution of the problem. In this paper, theoretical and practical nesting algorithm for rectangular, circular and irregular shape of two-dimensional parts is proposed. Both No-Fit-Polygon and Minkowski-Sum are used for solving the overlapping problem of two parts and the dynamic programming technique is used for reducing the number search spae in order to find an optimal solution. Also, nesting designer's expertise is complied into the proposed algorithm to supplement the heuristic method.
