In this paper, the recognition rate of isolated digits has been improved using the multiple neural networks combined with chaotic recurrent neural networks and MLP. Generally, the recognition rate has been increased from 1.2% to 2.5%. The experiments tell that the recognition rate is increased because MLP and CRNN(chaotic recurrent neural network) compensate for each other. Besides this, the chaotic dynamic properties have helped more in speech recognition. The best recognition rate is when the algorithm combined with MLP and chaotic multiple recurrent neural network has been used. However, in the respect of simple algorithm and reliability, the multiple neural networks combined with MLP and chaotic single recurrent neural networks have better properties. Largely, MLP has very good recognition rate in korean digits "il", "oh", while the chaotic recurrent neural network has best recognition in "young", "sam", "chil".
Because the nonlinear and time-varying characteristics of continuously variable transmission (CVT) systems driven by means of a six-phase copper rotor induction motor (CRIM) are unconscious, the control performance obtained for classical linear controllers is disappointing, when compared to more complex, nonlinear control methods. A blend modified recurrent Gegenbauer orthogonal polynomial neural network (OPNN) control system which has the online learning capability to come back to a nonlinear time-varying system, was complied to overcome difficulty in the design of a linear controller for six-phase CRIM driving CVT systems with lumped nonlinear load disturbances. The blend modified recurrent Gegenbauer OPNN control system can carry out examiner control, modified recurrent Gegenbauer OPNN control, and reimbursed control. Additionally, the adaptation law of the online parameters in the modified recurrent Gegenbauer OPNN is established on the Lyapunov stability theorem. The use of an amended artificial bee colony (ABC) optimization technique brought about two optimal learning rates for the parameters, which helped reform convergence. Finally, a comparison of the experimental results of the present study with those of previous studies demonstrates the high control performance of the proposed control scheme.
Objective: The aim of this study was to find about relation between Chiljung(七情) and chronic recurrent abdominal pain in children. Methods: It was surveyed the oriental medical book concerning Chiljung(七情) and western medical book concerning Chronic recurrent abdominal pain. Results: Chronic recurrent abdominal pain which is common disorder in children is mostly functional abdominal pain due to stress. The Stress can be defined as spiritual factor which lead to imbalance of body homeostasis in medicine. In oriental medicine, it is considered as Chiljung(七情) disorder. The gastrointestinal disease due to stress are peptic ulcer, chronic gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic abdominal pain, vomitting etc. In oriental medicine pathology mechanism, it is considered as discord with liver and spleen, depression of spleen-energy. It comes within the category of depression. Children with chronic recurrent abdominal pain is dependent on parents and they have an introspective nature, compulsive idea which is intolerable for failure.
The major function of immune system is to protect infections. The immune systems are composed of innate and adaptive immunity. In adaptive immunity, the cellular and humoral components interact each other. Neonates and infants are infected frequently, because immune systems are naive and easy to expose to infectious agents. The complete history and physical examination is essential to evaluate the child with recurrent infections. The environmental risk factors of recurrent infections are day care center, cigarette smoke, and air pollution. The underlying diseases such as immunodeficiency, autoimmune diseases, allergy, and disorders of anatomy or physiology increase the susceptibility to infections. In immunodeficiency, infections are characterized by severe, chronic, recurrent, and unusual microbial agents infection. The defects of antibody production are susceptible to sinopulmonary bacterial infections. T cells defects are vulerable to numerous organisms such as virus, fungi, bacteria and etc. The screening tests for immune functions are the quantitative and qualitative measurements of each immune components. A complete blood count with white blood cell, differential, and platelet provide quantitative informations of immune components. Total complement and immunoglobulin levels represent the humoral component. Antibody levels of previously injected vaccines also provide informations of the antigen specific antibody immune responses. T cell and subsets count is quantitative measurement of cell mediated immunity. Delayed hypersensitivity skin test is a crude measurement of T cell function. The long term outcome of children with recurrent infections is completely dependent on the underlying diseases, the initial time of diagnosis and therapy, continued management, and genetic counscelling.
Purpose: Understanding daily life experiences of patients admitted to hospital with recurrent breast cancer. Methods: The grounded theory method was used for this study. Results: Consistent comparative analysis was used throughout the study to obtain the results. Results showed that inpatients with recurrent breast cancer experience 'a co-existence of life suffering and fear of death'. The causal condition of this result was determined to be 'patient's response to cancer recurrence (acceptance/despair)', including contextual conditions such as, 'previous experience with cancer treatment', 'patient's current physical condition', and 'treatment methods for recurrent cancer'. Intervening conditions, such as 'a strong will to live', 'family support', 'moral support providers', and action/interaction strategies were found to provide patients with 'a strength to live'. Shown in these results, inpatients with recurrent breast cancer were seen to have a simultaneous 'hope for life and fear of death'. Conclusion: When providing nursing services to inpatients with recurrent breast cancer, people must recognize there is a notable difference between individual patients' contextual conditions and interactive strategies. Henceforth, proper cognitive nursing must be provided which encourages patients to maintain a strong will to overcome the many hardships of treatment as well as physical nursing, such as management of side effects caused by chemotherapy.
Dislocation of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is troublesome condition which was most commonly shown far anteriorly displaced mandibular condyle to the articular eminence, thereby make it impossible to close one's mouth. It is often referred to as 'open lock' in clinically. Although anatomical modification of the articular eminence through eminectomy has been considered most satisfactory and efffective treatment for managing the recurrent dislocation, it seldom performs clinically due to its invasiveness and patient's reluctance. We thought a shortterm intermaxillary fixation could be of benefit to the patient suffering from recurrent dislocation. A 21-year-old male patient with recurrent TMJ dislocation which had developed after excessive mouth opening, was successfully treated with intermaxillay fixation using microimplant for 2 months. It is more conservative and less complicated method than eminectomy in treating recurrent TMJ dislocation. Transient intermaxillary fixation using microimplant and elastics could be one of treatment options for recurrent TMJ dislocation.

The purpose of this report was to show that the oriental medical treatment is effective on recurrent bell's palsy. We investigated 1 patient with recurrent bell's palsy who was a case of recurrent ipsilateral bell's palsy with four distinct episodes over the past 11 years. As a treatment, Ligigepung-san(Liqiqufeng-san), Acupuncture, and Moxa were tried upon the patient for 40 days in order to relieve the symptom of palsy. In terms of observing the changes of symptoms, the progress of patient's condition was evaluated periodically by using the House-Brackamnn's grading system. In accordance with the observation under House-Brackamann's grading system, the patient's facial nerve palsy had gradually improved throughout the treatment. Therefore, this report suggests that Ligigepung-san (Liqiqufeng-sa n), Acupuncture, and Moxa are probably effective in the treatment of recurrent Bell's palsy.
Recurrent abdominal pain(RAP) occurs in 8-10% of elementary school children. It is suspected that functional causes are about 90% and organic causes about 10% for the recurrent abdominal pain. RAP is treated by antispasmodics or analgesics or antidiarrheal drugs in school health rooms. The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of Koryo-Hand-Acupuncture on recurrent abdominal pain of children. The duration of this study was from April to July, 2001. The subjects were the grade 4th-6th elementary students complaining recurrent abdominal pain. Total subjects were 46 cases; 23 cases of which were placed in experimental and the others in control group. The results of this study were as follows; 1. Numeric-pain-intensity of experimental group received Koryo-Hand-Acupuncture was decreased more than that of control group received mock Koryo-Hand-Acupuncture significantly. 2. Probed current in stomach corresponding point (A12) of experimental received Koryo-Hand-Acupuncture was decreased more than that of control group received mock Koryo-Hand-Acupuncture significantly. 3. Medication requirement rate of experimental group received Koryo-Hand-Acupuncture was decreased more than that of control group received mock Koryo-Hand-Acupuncture significantly. The following suggestions with the results of the study would be made like these; 1. Stimulation implement of Koryo-Hand- Acupuncture should be used independently and each effect should be investigated. 2. With repeated studies for various signs and diseases, the effect of Koryo-Hand- Acupuncture must be verified.
Recurrent acute pancreatic attacks is a rare clinical condition (2-5% of all acute pancreatis) in children and is mainly idiopathic in most cases. Sometimes it may be associated with congenital anomalies, metabolic diseases or hereditary conditions. Isovaleric acidemia (IVA) is a rare autosomal recessive amino acid metabolism disorder associated with isovaleryl coenzyme A dehydrogenase deficiency presenting the clinical findings such metabolic acidosis with increased anion gap, hyperammonemia, ketonemia, hypoglycemia, "the odor of sweaty feet," abdominal pain, vomiting, feeding intolerance, shock and coma. Recurrent acute pancreatitis associated with IVA have been rarely reported. Herein; we report a child who admitted with recurrent acute pancreatic attacks and had the final diagnosis of IVA. Mutation analysis revealed a novel homozygous mutation of (p.E117K [c.349G>A]) in the IVA gene. Organic acidemias must kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of recurrent acute pancreatic attacks in children.

In this paper, it is realized an image filter for a noise elimination using a recurrent neural networks with fuzzy. The proposed fuzzy neural networks structure is to converge weights and the number of iteration for a certain value by using basically recurrent neural networks structure and is simplified computation and complexity of mathematics by applying the hybrid fuzzy membership function operator. In this paper, the proposed method, the recurrent neural networks applying fuzzy which is collected a certain value, has been proved improving average 0.38dB than the conventional method, the generalied recurrent neural networks, by using PSNR. Also, a result image of the proposed method was similar to the original image than a result image of the conventional method by comparing to visual images.
