This paper discusses two algorithms for recommending notebook computer (NBC) and workstation adjustments so that the user can assume an ergonomic seated posture during NBC operation. Required input data are the user's anthropometric data and physical dimensions of the NBC and the workstation. The first algorithm is based on an assumption that there are no workstation constraints while the second algorithm considers the actual seat height and work surface height. The results from the algorithms include recommendations for adjusting the NBC (tilt angle of the NBC base unit, angle between the base and screen units, and base support height) and the workstation (heights of seat support and footrest, and distance between the body and the NBC).

With low carbon and green growth as the policy indicator, Korea has been concentrating on a variety of researches and technical development as well as recommending the LED lighting facility as part of Green Energy policy to cope with the environment and energy crisis. While the interest on LED has been increasing, the development of LED is still in its early stage and researches on diverse aspects of LED are not sufficiently implemented. Thus, this paper aimed to get the data that would help the expansion of LED lighting by comparing and analyzing the awareness and knowledge level of the public and experts on LED lighting.

대량의 물품이 생산되고 유통되는 현대 사회에서 개인에게 다양하고 편리한 서비스를 제공하기위해서 다방면에서 연구가 진행되고 있다. 상품을 구입 시에 사용자가 사용하는 스마트카드에 개인의 신체 치수 정보가 담겨있다면 그 사용자는 카드를 reader하는 기기에 접속하기만 하면 사용자가 필요로 하는 물품을 추천 받을 수 있을 것이다. 사람의 신체는 모든 부분을 식별할 수 있는 다양한 물리적 측정 기준을 가지고 있다. 이에 맞물려 스마트카드는 신체 식별정보 저장하기위한 적절한 저장장치이고, 관련된 컨텐츠와 자바 애플릿의 검색 및 업데이트가 용이하다는 장점이 있다. 이 논문의 연구 과제는 브라우저와 자바 임베디드 스마트카드사이의 접근 인터페이스를 설계하는 것이다.

The explosive growth of e-marketplace transactions requires an appropriate trust measuring framework to protect involving transacting entities such as buyers and sellers. As a strategic competitive edge, e-marketplace service providers have been adopting various system features that make sure no one transacting entity takes a major risk in online transactions involved. In this paper, an improved trust measuring method using fuzzy theory for an e-marketplace is proposed. The proposed methodology incorporates fuzzy set and calculation concepts to help build trust matrices and models, which are used to measure the level of risk involved in a specific e-marketplace transaction concerned. The proposed framework can be utilized to optimize the transaction costs by recommending a differentiated transaction process according to the risk level involved in each online transaction.

Investigations on the symbolic role, spiritual health benefits and efficacy of the clothing items of the Ga wolomo (chief priest) have received little attention. Highlighting the relevance of these clothes, this paper focuses on the chief priest's dress code for his appointment, confinement, ordination, ceremonial and daily life activities. Data were collected through content analysis, participant observation and interviews with people from selected Ga communities, such as La, Teshie and Ga Mashie. The findings revealed that the selection of the chief priest is confirmed with a special clothing item. His traditional clothes and adornment also have meanings, importance and symbolic interpretations; explained in their uses, colour and style. As the spiritual head, the role of the chief priest's costume is very distinguished and symbolic in executing his duties; protecting, strengthening faith, confidence and assurance during spiritual healing, and when solving pertinent problems in the community. The paper concludes by recommending further research and documentation on other aspects of the Ga clothing culture, such as hand items and hair styles from the pre-colonial period to the present.

In IoT(Internet of Things) environment, users want to receive customized service by users' personal device such as smart watch and pendant. To fulfill this requirement, the mobile device should support a lot of functions. However, the miniaturization of mobile devices is another requirement and has limitation such as tiny display. limited I/O, and less powerful processors. To solve this limitation problem and provide customized service to users, this paper proposes a collaboration system for sharing various computing resources. The paper also proposes the method for reasoning and recommending suitable resources to compose the user-requested service in small device with limited power on expected time. For this goal, our system adopts MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) to analyzes user's behavior pattern and recommends personalized resources based on the result of the analyzation. The evaluation in this paper shows that our approach not only reduces recommendation time but also increases user satisfaction with the result of recommendation.

Vascular compromise is a well-known consequence of brain herniation syndromes. Transtentorial brain herniation most often involves posterior cerebral arteries. However, isolated involvement of contralateral superior cerebellar artery (SCA) during unilateral impending brain herniation is reported only once and we present another case of this exceedingly rare entity. A 24-year-old man was referred to us with impending herniation due to a multiloculated hydrocephalus, and during the course of illness, he developed an isolated SCA ischemia in the opposite side of the most dilated entrapped horn. In the current article we discuss the probable pathophysiologic mechanisms of this phenomenon, as well as recommending more inclusive brain studies in cases suspected of Kernohan-Woltman notch phenomenon in unilateral brain herniation. The rationale for this commentary is that contralateral SCA transient ischemia or infarct might be the underdiagnosed underlying pathomechanism of ipsilateral hemiparesis occurring in many cases of this somehow vague phenomenon.

컴포넌트 레파지토리는 생성된 컴포넌트를 저장하고 컴포넌트 사용자가 필요한 컴포넌트를 찾아 재사용을 쉽게 할 수 있도록 제안되어 왔으나 대부분의 컴포넌트 레파지토리는 사용자가 찾으려는 컴포넌트의 존재를 쉽게 알 수 없어 컴포넌트 재사용에 중요한 장애가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트에 대한 성능 측정 결과를 이용한 레파지토리를 구축한다. 이 컴포넌트 레파지토리는 사용자가 관심 갖는 컴포넌트에 대해 비교할만한 기능과 성능을 갖는 컴포넌트들을 자동으로 추출하여 제공한다. 대형 컴포넌트 레파지토리에서 컴포넌트를 손쉽게 찾지 못하는 경우가 빈번한 점에 비해 본 논문에서는 자동화된 방법에 따라 재사용 컴포넌트를 보다 쉽게 식별할 수 있는 방법을 제공한다.

In ubiquitous computing, invisible devices and software are connected to one another to provide convenient services to users [1][2]. Users hope to obtain a personalized service which is composed of customized devices among sharable devices in a ubiquitous smart space (which is called USS in this paper). However, the situations of each user are different and user preferences also are various. Although users request the same service in the same USS, the most suitable devices for composing the service are different for each user. For these user requirements, this paper proposes a device recommender system which infers and recommends customized devices for composing a user required service. The objective of this paper is the development of the systems for recommending devices through context-aware inference in peer-to-peer environments. For this goal, this paper considers the context and user preference. Also I implement a prototype system and test performance on the real ubiquitous mobile object (UMO).

The effects of opening, carding, and repeated drawings on single fiber and bundle cotton characteristics were stud­ied by employing $Mantis^{\circledR}$, $AFIS^{\circledR}$ and HVI Testers. Some of the significant changes in single fiber properties were found to be due to process parameters as well as the changes in the fiber crimps, parallelness of fibers within HVI beards, and the actual changes in the tensile properties of the fibers. The study showed that the HVI test data taken just prior to spinning had the highest correlation with the yam tensile properties. Based on the study results, we point out the potential of HVI for future quality and process control in spinning by recommending a set of expanded HVI output that is more scientific and compre­hensive for the future control needs.
