  • 본 논문에서는 운전자가 후진 시, 자동차의 후진 예상경로를 파악하여 내비게이션이나 휴대용 기기에 후방카메라 영상과 예상 경로를 함께 표시하여 안전운전을 도와주는 경로 예측 방식의 후진 주차 가이드 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 시스템은 다양한 차종에 적용 가능하며, 다양한 후방카메라의 특성 및 설치환경을 지원하고 내비게이션이나 휴대용 기기에 호환되며 시스템의 탈부착이 쉽고, 편리하게 구성할 수 있다.

  • This paper proposes a method for rejecting false matches in automobile rear view camera image sequences. Our method consists of two submethods which utilize the motion characteristics of an automobile. One is for a straight motion and the other is for a curve motion. First, we classify an image sequence into a straight motion or a curve motion and then apply an appropriate submethod. Our method works in cases where the percentage of true matches is as low as 30%.

  • 레이더 센서보다 가격이 저렴한 초음파 센서를 사용하여 센서 운용에 있어 가격을 줄였다. 후측면 사각감시 시스템이 경보를 못하거나 오 경보할 수 있는 상황을 후방 카메라의 객체 인식, 탐지를 통해 초음파 센서가 미치지 못하는 영역에 대해 감지를 한다. 또한 후방 카메라와 후측면 사각감시 시스템이 ECU 내부의 통신을 하여 오류를 줄인 정보를 운전자에게 전달 할 수 있다.

Immediate Effects of Low-Dye Taping on the Ankle Motion and Ground Reaction Forces in the Pronated Rear-Foot During Gait

  • Background: Increased foot pronation causes biomedchanical changes at the lower limbs, which may result in musculoskeletal injuries at the proximal joints. Pronation rear-foot leads to plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, and posterior tibial tendonitis pathologically. According to the recent meta-analysis, They showed that therapeutic adhesive taping is more effective than foot orthoses and motion control footwear, low-Dye (LD) taping has become the most popular method used by physiotherapists. Objects: The purpose of this study was to determine the immediate effects of LD taping results in different ankle motion and ground reaction force (GRF) as before and after applied LD taping on pronated rear-foot during gait. Methods: Twenty-four participants were recruited for this study. The gait data were recorded using an 8-camera motion capture system and two force platforms. At first, the experiments were carried out that participants walked barefoot without LD taping. And then they walked both feet was applied LD taping. Results: The ankle inversion minimum was significantly greater after LD taping than before LD taping (p=.04); however, in the GRF, there were no significant differences in the inversion maximum or total motion of the stance phase (p=.33, p=.07), or in the vertical (p=.33), posterior (p=.22), and lateral (p=.14) peak forces. Conclusion: The application of taping to pronation rear-foot assists in increased ankle inversion.

차량 뒷바퀴 윤곽선을 이용한 근거리 전방차량인식 (Recognition of a Close Leading Vehicle Using the Contour of the Vehicles Wheels)

  • This paper describes a method for detecting a close leading vehicle using the contour of the vehi-cles rear wheels. The contour of a leading vehicles rear wheels in 속 front road image from a B/W CCD camera mounted on the central front bumper of the vehicle, has vertical components and can be discerned clearly in contrast to the road surface. After extracting positive edges and negative edges using the Sobel op-erator in the raw image, every point that can be recognized as a feature of the contour of the leading vehicle wheel is determined. This process can detect the presence of a close leading vehicle, and it is also possible to calculate the distance to the leading vehicle and the lateral deviation angle. This method might be useful for developing and LSA (Low Speed Automation) system that can relieve drivers stress in the stop-and-go traffic conditions encoun-tered on urban roads.

  • Image-oriented information is becoming increasingly important on social networking services (SNS); the background of this trend is the popularity of selfies. Currently, camera applications using augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are gaining traction. An AR camera app is a smartphone application that converts selfies into various interesting forms using filters. In this study, we investigated the change of keywords according to the time flow of selfies in Goolgle News articles through semantic network analysis. Additionally, we examined the effects of using an AR camera app on appearance satisfaction and self-esteem when taking a selfie. Semantic network analysis revealed that in 2013, postings of specific people were the most prominent selfie-related keywords. In 2019, keywords appeared regarding the launch of a new smartphone with a rear-facing camera for selfies; in 2020, keywords related to communication through selfies appeared. As a result of examining the effect of the degree of use of the AR camera app on appearance satisfaction, it was found that the higher the degree of use, the higher the user's interest in appearance. As a result of examining the effect of the degree of use of the AR camera app on self-esteem, it was found that the higher the degree of use, the higher the user's negative self-esteem.

카메라 통신 기반 리더 차량 추종 기술 연구 (Inter-vehicular Instruction Transmission Scheme Based on Optical Camera Communication)

  • This paper proposes a method for transmitting instruction between vehicles in a moving situation using RC Car having camera. Information of preceding RC Car was transmitted by LED using Optical Camera Communication(OCC). Rear RC Car follows the preceding one by analyzing transmitted OCC data based on image processing. Through this procedure, the information reception ratio according to the distance change of two RC Cars is confirmed. Through experiments, we showed that our proposed scheme enables the possibility of vehicle platooning.

버스 승객의 안전한 하차를 위한 컴퓨터비전 기반의 차량 탐지 시스템 개발 (Computer Vision-based Method of detecting a Approaching Vehicle or the Safety of a Bus Passenger Getting off)

  • 본 논문은 컴퓨터 비전 기반의 인식 기법으로 주간 시내도로에 정차된 버스와 보도 사이로 접근하는 측후방 차량을 탐지하는 시스템을 설명한다. 이 시스템은 승객의 안전한 하차를 위해 버스 운전자와 승객에게 차량의 접근 유무를 알려준다. 버스의 측후방 영상은 버스가 정차할 때마다 버스 중앙 출입문 상단에 장착된 카메라에서 입력된다. 이 영상에서 버스와 보도 사이에 탐색영역을 설정하고 이 영역에서 영상의 변화와 소벨 필터링으로 차량을 탐지한다. 탐지된 차량의 중심점을 잡은 후, 위치 및 가로 세로의 크기를 이용하여 거리, 속도, 방향을 알아낸다. 이 정보를 이용하여 하차하는 승객에게 위험한 상황이라 판단될 경우, 운전자와 승객에게 위험을 알려준다. 실험결과로 시내 주행시 87% 이상의 탐지율을 나타내었다.
