Low energy x-rays that occur in the low tube voltage radiography of general radiography are absorbed strongly in the body and do not aid image quality enhancement. This study maintains titer in general radiography while using tube current that are proportional to density and the tube voltage 15% principle according to density to reduce patient exposure doses, and area doses and entrance surface doses were measured to compare patient exposure doses. In hand, knee, abdomen, and skull radiography, kVp was increased to 115% and mAs was decreased to 50% and kVp was decreased to 85% while mAs was increased to 200% and area doses and entrance surface doses were measured to compare relative doses. Also, 5 places in each image were set, density was measured, and Kruskal wallis H test was conducted to observe significance probabilities between groups. To fix density, kVp was increased to 115% and mAs was decreased to 50% and after measurements of mean area doses and entrance surface doses were made by each part, each decreased to 58.68% and 59.85% when standard doses were set to 100%, and each increased to 147.28% and 159.9% when kVp was decreased to 85% and mAs was increased to 200%. Comparisons of density changes showed that hand, knee, abdomen, and skull radiography all displayed significance probabilities>0.05, showing no changes in concentration. Radiography that increases kVp and lowers mAs through reasonable calculations within ranges that don't affect resolution and contrast seems to be a simple way to decrease patient exposure doses.
Generally, it's known fact that intensity of radioactivity satisfies inverse-square law. However, the law was dissatisfied with practical experiment because of limited shape of scintillation detector. Especially, in the case of near distance between the surface of detector and the radioactive source, the difference grows larger. In the present study, reason of this difference was confirmed by experiment with $2^{{\prime}{\prime}}{\times}2^{{\prime}{\prime}}{\phi}$ NaI(Tl) scintillation detector and $^{60}Co$(1.174 MeV, 1.333 MeV)and $^{137}Cs$(0.662 MeV) gamma ray sources. From the experiment, the correction coefficient was obtained with gamma ray detection efficiency and geometrical volume. In the result of the present study, the efficiency difference of the detector was corrected with the coefficient. In the present result, we obtained that the inverse-square law experiment have to consider the efficiency and geometrical value of the detector.

Because of the expectation of the non-invasive treatment effect, Various studies on the treatment of varicose veins using focused ultrasound are reported. In this study, the bio-tissue phantom and tissue equivalent phantom that can be applied to estimation of ultrasonic varicose veins treatment effect. Each phantom was evaluated for its usefulness by evaluating the acoustic characteristics and the shrinkage rate according to the ultrasonic irradiation. A multi-layer structure phantom with three layers of skin, fat, and muscle was constructed considering the structure of the tissue where the varicose veins occurred. The materials constituting each layer were made to have characteristics similar to human body. In addition, the multi-layered phantoms with blood vessel mimic tube, with bovine blood vessel, and with animal tissue were fabricated. The degree of shrinkage of blood vessel mimic material and vascular tissue according to ultrasonic irradiation was evaluated using B-mode image. As the results of this study, it was thought that the proposed phantom could be used effectively in the evaluation of ultrasonic varicose veins treatment. In addition, it is thought that these phantoms could be applied to the development of varicose vein treatment device using the focused ultrasound and the verification of the therapeutic effect.

In this study, we performed to design an image guiding algorithm to improve the efficiency and safety of treatment of varicose vein by focused ultrasound. The algorithm was suggested by different guiding images according to the location of varicose veins. In the case of deep-seated varicose veins, the target area was marked on the surface of the blood vessel in the obtained cross-sectional blood vessel ultrasound image. In the case of the superficial varicose vein, A guiding system based on image segmentation algorithm of the vascular region was suggested and designed two different algorithms according to varicose veins progression degree. as a results, the algorithm based on ultrasound image show a small error with $830{\mu}m$ at maximum. However, the algorithm based on charge coupled device image has a maximum error of 8.3 mm in some data. Therefore, it is expected that additional study is needed for superficial varicose vein image guiding algorithm, and it is expected that the accuracy of blood vessel tracking should be evaluated by constructing simple system.
The Geant 4 simulated the linear accelerator (VARIAN CLINAC) based on the previously implemented BEAMnrC data, using the head structure of the linear accelerator. In the 10 MV photon flux, Geant4 was compared with the measured value of the percentage of the deep dose and the lateral dose of the water phantom. In order to apply the dose calculation to the body part, the actual patient's lung area was scanned at 5 mm intervals. Geant4 dose distributions were obtained by irradiating 10 MV photons at the irradiation field ($5{\times}5cm^2$) and SAD 100 cm of the water phantom. This result is difficult to measure the dose absorbed in the actual lung of the patient so the doses by the treatment planning system were compared. The deep dose curve measured by water phantom and the deep dose curve calculated by Geant4 were well within ${\pm}3%$ of most depths except the build-up area. However, at the 5 cm and 20 cm sites, 2.95% and 2.87% were somewhat higher in the calculation of the dose using Geant4. These two points were confirmed by the geometry file of Genat4, and it was found that the dose was increased because thoracic spine and sternum were located. In cone beam CT, the dose distribution error of the lungs was similar within 3%. Therefore, if the contour map of the dose can be directly expressed in the DICOM file when calculating the dose using Geant4, the clinical application of Geant4 will be used variously.
CBCT is useful for improving the accuracy of the treatment site, but Repeated use increases the exposure dose. In this study, we aimed to provide basic data for dose reduction in CBCT implementation by dataization the simulating and dose reduction effect using shielding substance. Material in this study, Analyzation the photon beam by simulate the CBCT Through MCNPX and then calculate the absorption dose of body organ at shooting moment of thoracic abdominal position as target UF-Revise simulated body. At this time. Dose reduction effects at this time were evaluated according to the texture of materials and presence of shielding materials( lead, antimony, barium, sulfate, tungsten, bismuth). When CBCT was taken without shielding, the dose was calculated to be high in the breast and spine, and the dose in the esophagus and lung was calculated to be low. The doses according to the shield material were calculated as barium sulfate, antimony, bismuth, lead, and tungsten. The shielding rate was the highest in the thymus (73.6%) and the breast (59.9%) compared with the dose reduction according to presence or absence of the shield. However, it showed the lowest shielding rate in lung (2.1%) and spine (12.6%).
The Computed tomography (CT) scan can have high radiation in a few tests, and this risk is significant given that it is often repeated in one patient. In children, the incidence of radiation-induced cancer is reported because organs are growing, are more sensitive to radiation. 3D printing has recently been studied to be applied to various applications as a research field for 3D printing applications, research on fabrication of radiation shields and materials has been conducted. The purpose of the 3D printer is to replace the existing panel-type shields and to make customized designs according to the shape of the human body. Therefore, research on 3D information processing to be input to the 3D printer is also necessary. In this study, 3D data of the human body surface, which is the preliminary step of the manufacture of patient-specific eye shield using stereo vision depth map technology, was studied. This study aims to increase the possibility of three-dimensional output. As a result of experimenting with this method, which is relatively simple compared with other methods of 3D information processing, the minimum coordinates for 3D information are extracted. The results of this study provided the advantages and limitations of stereo images using natural light and will be the basic data for the manufacture of eye shields in the future.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to provide basic data in order to systemize the management of demand and supply of radiologic technicians, to pursue a fair regional distribution of educational institutions, and furthermore to keep reasonable medical treatment and fee. This research was carried out through the investigation of radiologic equipments and technicians according to the distribution of the population. Materials and Methods: We compared and analyzed the correlation between regional population, the number of clinics and hospitals, the number of medical imaging devices, and the number of radiologists and radiologic technicians in 5 cities without "Gu" administrative units in 2008. Results: 27,317 radiologic technicians have been produced since the administration of the national qualifying exam for radiologic technicians. About 18,000 radiologic technicians are currently working. There are 39 colleges or universities with Departments of Radiology and the admission quota is 2,120 students excluding one college. The ratio of radiologic equipments to radiologic technicians is 2.6 to 1. Conclusion: There is a dilemma in which some radiologic technicians fail to find appropriate jobs while some clinics or hospitals are in need of radiologic technicians. This dilemma is due to unreasonable regional discrepancies in pay system and welfare situation, and excessive profit-oriented recruiting system of clinics and hospitals. The increase of students of Radiologic Departments and approval of additional departments will end up with producing superfluous high academic degree holders, which is on the contrary to the government policy to produce more job opportunities. So the policy of increasing Radiologic Departments should be reconsidered.

This study examined the effects of the demographic and health characteristics and chronic diseases on the health-related quality of life in service employees. From January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014, this study analyzed the data on 607 service employees based on the 2nd data of the 6th National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey with at-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical regression analysis use of SPSS. The results of the analysis showed that the quality of Life in women was lower (${\beta}=-.074$, p=.050) than that of men, and the older the subjects were, the lower their quality of life(${\beta}=307$, p=.000). Regarding the subjective health status, there was a significant increase in the "very Poor"(${\beta}=186$, p=0.027) and "good"(${\beta}=196$, p=.001) status. The quality of life improved with increasing activity (${\beta}=-0.222$, p=0.000)). Some of the subjects perceived "high stress" (${\beta}=-0.123$, p=0.003) and the others perceived "low stress"(${\beta}=-0.176$, p=0.000). The less they perceived stress, the higher their quality of life. The factors explained 24.6% of the health-related quality of life of the subjects. Therefore, to improve health-related quality of life of service employees, more activity opportunities should be given, the subjective health status should be positively perceived and psychological measures to decrease the level of stress should be developed.
