The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of housing product through housebuilders' strategies. As a methodology for this study, literature survey and questionnaire survey were used. Questionnaires were delivered on mail to 232 housing-builders and return rate was 34.1％. In summary, housing product was characterized long gestation period, periodically building cycle, future uncertainty of market volatility, maximization of land development gain, utilization of public fund for continuous building activity, moral hazard by accidental bankruptcy. Therefore private housebuilding could be defined speculative industry.

The main purpose of this study is to explore a way of fisheries cooperation through the ODA demand survey in the fisheries sector on 8 ASEAN countries. In detail, we identified the status of detailed cooperation in the fisheries sector with ASEAN countries and identified new cooperation network construction projects in accordance with the changes in external cooperation environment, and presented strategies and policy directions for fisheries cooperation projects. For this purpose, we surveyed the questionnaires of 8 ASEAN countries using structured questionnaires for local fisheries experts. As a result of the questionnaire analysis, eight ASEAN countries were classified into three groups according to DAC beneficiary standards and suggested implications. Based on the results of the survey, the basic direction of the fisheries cooperation projects in each of the eight countries surveyed was set up, and the preferred projects for fisheries cooperation projects were proposed by dividing them into groups. In addition, the research results were used to systematically establish national promotion plans.

This study was focused on the ethical dilemmas of fire fighters in Korea. There was no research on ethical dilemmas and experience of fire fighters and paramedics(emergency medical technician, EMT) in Korea. So I am going to survey this ethical problems through questionnaires and propose the basic data for the legal and ethical solutions.

The article analyzes the impact of factors affecting the use of management accounting in small and medium-sized firms in Vietnam, which adds to the empirical evidence on these factorsThe survey results collected 328 questionnaires using a questionnaire survey of managers at all levels, chief accountants, and accountants of 89 small and medium firms in Vietnam. Some questionnaires were invalid due to many blank cells, hence the author chose to use 315 questionnaires. Quantitative research was carried out with SPSS 25 software. Research results show that five factors have a positive influence on the application of management accounting including Competitive pressure, Decentralization of responsibility, Application of information technology, the level of interest of managers, and the quality of human resources, in which the application of information technology and competitive pressure are the factors that have the strongest influence on the application of management accounting in small and medium enterprises in Vietnam. Based on the findings of the study, the author has proposed recommendations to help small and medium-sized businesses improve their ability to successfully apply management accounting techniques, thereby improving their competitiveness and efficiency performance and contributing to the long-term sustainability of their businesses.

The purposes of this study were to define the current status of information infrastructures and electronic information retrieval systems in university libraries in Korea, to assess the impact of information technology on library collection development in Korea universities, and to determine the relationship between electronic information retrieval service and library collection development. Data was collected by a mail survey. Questionnaires were mail in December, 1997 to all 134 4-year university libraries. Approximately 78 percent of the questionnaires was returned. The data taken from the survey instruments were analyzed with the analysis of variance(ANOVA) test of SAS program.

Rapid social change affects residential environments and this in turn creates new stimuli to which people have to adapt. These stimuli have been seen to increase stress levels. Therefore, dwellers in these environments try to reduce stress through various methods. The purpose of this paper is to: 1) identify the general trends of coping styles about residential environmental stress, 2) analyze the differences in socio-demographic characteristics and how the physical characteristics of buildings affect stress, find out how personal backgrounds affect stress levels and the ability to get rid of environmental-related stress. The subjects in this study consisted of people living in multi-family housing in Gwang-ju. The city is divided into 5 districts and used quota sampling. 324 housewives were surveyed from the households by self-administered questionnaires. The survey was conducted in December, 2006, after the questionnaire was revised based on the results of preliminary survey. After all the questionnaires were collected, the data was coded and analyzed using the SPSS 12.0 program.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to examine sleeping patterns and diet patterns of the children in day-care centers in Seongdong-district and to find out the relationships between those two patterns and children growth. Methods : 686 day-care center kids participated in the examination. We measured their heights and weights. We also conducted a questionnaire survey (of them) on their sleeping patterns and diet patterns. Based on the findings, we have analyzed correlations of the factors. Results : 1. We have interviewed 686 children in day-care centers in Seongdong-district. Substantial survey was conducted to 672(14 kids didn't go through regular medical checkups). Their age ranged from 4 months to 120 months and weights covered from 6.20 kg to 50.80 kg with the average of 16.97kg. Their height ranges were from 70.4cm to 140.6cm and the average was 100.76cm. 2. The survey results showed that birth-height affects children's current height. The results from the group of age over 25months and the group covering 2 to 6 years indicated that birth-height affected the current height as well. However, the result from the age group over 37 months showed that birth-height didn't relate to the current height. 3. Results from questionnaires on sleeping patterns indicate that children sleeping longer are taller than the other. Results of other questionnaires showed no substantial relations to height. 4. Results from questionnaires on diet patterns, cold food eating habit affects growth. Conclusions : According to the results above, sleeping patterns substantially affects the growth. In order to find out, however, the specific relations between them, further research would be necessary.

Purpose: This study was conducted to assess the level of agreement among survey instruments used to study dementia and to determine the prevalence rate of suspected dementia using different instruments. Subjects and Methods: A total 171 subjects older than 65 in Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, were surveyed from February to October 2003. The age, sex and educational level were examined through interview surveys, and cognitive function was evaluated using three survey instruments including MMSE-K, S-SDQ, and KDSQ. Results: The cognitive function scores obtained with the MMSE-K showed significant difference according to age. For sex and educational level significant differences were observed with all three survey instruments. The kappa index, the level of agreement between the questionnaires, was 0.302 between MMSE-K and S-SDQ, 0.401 between MMSE-K and KDSQ, and 0.762 between KDSQ and S-SDQ. The prevalence rate of suspected dementia based on the criteria suggested by MMSE-K, S-SDQ, and KDSQ was 27.5%, 15.2%, and 17.0% respectively. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that caution is needed when comparing the measured cognitive function scores and analyzing the prevalence of dementia; this is because the prevalence of dementia and cognitive functions vary according to the questionnaires used.

The goal of this study is to investigate the factors affecting firefighter's traumatic experiences and to examine and compare the differences of how those factors contribute to firefighter's burnout, depression, anxiety and social relationships. This study suggests that it is imperative for firefighters to have mindfulness, which brings mental and emotional healing, for their job-satisfaction. To empirically examine the research model of this study, the questionnaire survey was carried out to firefighters in InCheon Metropolitan City for two weeks; from October 19thto November 3rd, 2017. Out of 180 questionnaires, 170were retrieved. Total number of 160 questionnaires are empirically examined this study, excluding10bad survey responses. The t-test was conducted to determine whether there exist differences by gender among traumatic experienced firefighters, and a meaningful difference was found from perceived intrusiveness, a sub factor to traumatic experiences. Male firefighters showed higher mean than that of female firefighters in perceived angle, evasion and intrusiveness. Second, the t-test was conducted to determine whether there exist differences by gender in firefighter's burnout, but no meaningful differences were found. Female firefighters showed higher mean in emotional exhaustion, impersonalization and in decrease in self-achievements. Third, the t-test was conducted to determine whether there exist differences by gender in firefighter's depression and relationships, but no meaningful differences were found.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to understand the effect of the unique product recommendation system on customer satisfaction. Research design, data and methodology: The survey method used the self-recording way in which the respondents selected for the study and distributed 300 questionnaires, and with due personal care, researchers collected all the distributed questionnaires. Results: The result implies that the characteristics of the product recommendation system should be more secure and developed. Conclusions: The aspects of the product recommendation system were selected as factors of price fairness, accuracy, and quality through previous studies, and the empirical analysis of the effect of the characteristics of the product recommendation system on customer satisfaction was summarized as follows. Among the attributes of the product recommendation system, the attributes of price fairness, accuracy, and quality affect customer satisfaction. Among them, the beta value of quality was the highest, and the effect of quality was the largest among the three factors. Based on the results of the study, the implications for the characteristics of the product recommendation system are summarized as follows. The aspects of the product recommendation system have a positive effect on customer satisfaction, so it is necessary to fill the needs of consumers based on the survey focused on quality
