영동지역 사찰의 구성요소별 화재하중을 통한 화재위험성 평가 (Fire Risk Assessment of Temple Components in Young-dong Areas using Fire Loads)

  • 본 연구에서는 강원도 영동지역의 사찰을 대상으로 불전(대웅전, 팔상전), 삼성각(칠성각, 산신각), 요사(심검당, 설선당), 루, 일주문 등 구성요소별로 구분하여 현장조사를 통해 가연물의 종류를 구분하고, 실의 면적, 가연물의 재질 및 크기 등을 조사하여 화재하중을 산출함으로써 사찰의 구성요소별 화재 위험성을 판단하였다. 사찰의 구성요소별 총 화재하중은 불전 446.96 $kg/m^2$, 삼성각 313.71 $kg/m^2$, 요사 164.14 $kg/m^2$, 루 463.91 $kg/m^2$, 일주문 1,042.14 $kg/m^2$인 것으로 확인되었다. 사찰의 구성요소별 화재하중은 일주문이 가장 큰 것으로 확인되었으며, 그 다음으로 루, 불전, 삼성각, 요사의 순으로 나타났다. 일주문은 바닥 면적이 다른 구성요소들에 비하여 가장 작은 반면, 건축 구조재는 다른 요소들과 비슷한 크기와 수량으로 구성되었기 때문에 상대적으로 다른 구성요소보다 화재하중이 높게 나타난 것으로 사료된다.

Assessment of Nutritional Status by Estimation of Nutrients and Food Intakes of Korean Elderly Women Living in Residential Homes

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the nutritional status of elderly women living in residential homes by estimating nutrients and food intakes. Food consumption survey was conducted by 3-day 24hr recall method with 99 elderly women aged 65 to 90 years from three residential homes in Seoul, Choonchun and Chunan and 46 free-living elderly women aged 65 to 88 years from Chunan as control group. Food intake data was converted into nutrient intake using computer aided nutritional analysis program. Mean energy intake and percentage of recommended daily allowance (RDA) of residential home residents were 1696㎉ and 101% of RDA while those of control were estimated as 1939㎉ and 119% of RDA. On average, absolute amount of nutrient intakes of residential home residents were slightly higher than control group. Subjects in control group showed significantly lower carbohydrate and vitamin A intake, while vitamin C intake was higher. However, nutrient intake quality determined by INQ (Index of nutritional quality) was significantly higher among control subjects in most nutrients except vitamin A than residential home residents. Intakes of calcium, vitamin A and riboflavin of all subjects in this study were less than 75% RDA meaning that nutritional status of calcium, vitamin A and riboflavin was insufficient and could possibly result in nutritional deficient. Some food groups such as milk or other dairy products must be strongly suggested to improve nutritional status of elderly women in this study. According to the results of this study, meal plans of residential homes are quite adequate in quantity of micronutrients, but need to be improved in both quantity and quality of micronutrients.

식품 구매 기간에 따른 음식물 쓰레기 감량을 위한 가정의 식생활 실태 조사 (A Survey on the Dietary Home Lifestyle for the Reduction of Food Wastes by the Period of Food Purchase)

  • The goal of this study was to determine a method of reducing food wastes in the dietary home lifestyle. Statistical analyses were conducted of 491 questionnaires answered by housekeepers living in Daejeon city. The data were analyzed by SAS program and the results are summarized as follows. Among the respondents, 51.53% answered that they purchased the foods in consideration of the family number, 60.45% that they occasionally throw away foods because the date of expiry had passed, i.e., the foods threw away by mistake of storage, 68.23% that they make side dishes at a time for three meals in a day, 52.95% that they make three or four kinds of side dishes, 82.28% that they prepared meals according to the favorite foods of the family, 48.04% that they left food at home, and 47.32% that they threw away foods because too many foods had been prepared. The major reasons for food wastes at home were listed as meal leftovers (32.72%), vegetable trimming (31.29%), and non-planned purchase (25.77 %). The perception of housekeepers on the reduction of food waste were listed as the preparation of accurate meal quantity (50.92%), planned purchase (28.31%), development of recycling foods (14.05%), and reduction of side dishes (6.72%). Further reduction of food wastes of dietary home lifestyle can be summarized to emphasize the preparation of accurate meal quantity, planned purchase, development of recycling foods, and reduction of side dishes. In addition, studies should be conducted to examine the systematic administration method and standard education for the reduction of food wastes.

패밀리 레스토랑 신메뉴에 대한 고객의 기대도와 만족도 분석 (Analysis of Customer Expectation and Satisfaction for New Menus in Multi-Chain Family Restaurants)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to understand customers' expectations and satisfaction on menus in family restaurants, 2) to compare customer satisfaction and brand image for positioning new menus, and 3) to analyze customer satisfaction and loyalty to each menu. From May 8th to 28th, 2004, a total of 3,594 membership customers responded to the email survey. Statistical analyses such as t-test, ANOVA and Pearson Correlation were performed using SPSS 12.0. The results of this study consist of four major parts: general findings, customer expectation analysis, new menu positioning and customer satisfaction analysis. The customer expectation analysis discovered that taste was the most expected attribute in menus of family restaurants, followed by quantity, appearance and price. Statistically different expectations existed among different customer groups categorized by their general characteristics including demographics. Also, high correlations existed among the expectations over all the attributes: food quality, shape, quantity and price of food. Over all the attributes, customer expectation was higher than customer satisfaction. Thus, a discrepancy existed between expectation and satisfaction. Positioning of new menus was determined by brand image and customer satisfaction. Lastly, the customer satisfaction analysis revealed that customers in different gender and age have different satisfaction. In addition, high correlation existed between satisfaction and loyalty on new menus of a family restaurant. In consequence, the research findings suggest managers should understand customer expectation and satisfaction and reposition their menus regularly by menu engineering.

섭취빈도가 반영된 식품의 일상섭취량 분포의 추정 및 비섭취자 비율의 비교 연구: - 국민건강영양조사 자료(2009년) 활용 - (Estimation of the Usual Food Intake Distribution Reflecting the Consumption Frequency and a Comparison of the Proportion of Non-consumers: Based on the KNHANES 2009)

  • Objectives: The objective of this study was to estimate the distribution of the usual dietary intake of foods with respect to the probability of consumption derived from the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) of the 2009 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES). Methods: The intake quantity and frequency of 63 food items were assessed from the 2009 KNHANES which was completed by 7,708 participants. The participants completed one or two 24-h dietary recalls and one FFQ. The usual intake distribution was estimated using the multiple source method (MSM), and the proportion of non-consumers was calculated through the usual intake distribution. This was then compared with the proportion of non-consumers from the 24-hour recall method. Results: The difference in the proportion of non-consumers ranged from 2% to 82.9%, indicating that there is a very large difference based on food groups. The food groups in which the proportion of non-consumers did not differ was composed of foods consumed daily, such as 'rice', 'cereal and barley', and 'Chinese cabbage and kimchi', or foods with distinct palatability such as 'coffee' and 'alcohol'. On the other hand, in the case of the food groups with a high difference in the proportion of non-consumers, most comprised fruits that emphasized seasonality. Conclusions: In the case of foods or food groups that are occasionally consumed, it is desirable to use 2 recalls with additional FFQ data by combining the consumption frequency and the quantity consumed.

  • ICT 기반의 제4차 산업혁명의 도래는 제조업과 ICT 융합이 새로운 경쟁력이 되고, 생산 방식의 혁명을 일으키며 제조업 위기의 돌파구로 주목을 받으면서 제조업 부활에 날개를 달아주는 요소로 부상하고 있다. 스마트 팩토리가 구현되면 각 공장에서 수집된 수많은 데이터를 기반으로 분석 및 의사결정을 하는 공장 운영체계(Data Driven Operation)를 갖춤으로써 생산현장에서 발생하는 현상과 문제들의 상관관계를 찾아낼 수 있다. 고객의 니즈가 다양해짐에 따라 다품종 대량생산에서 맞춤형 유연생산 체제로의 전환이 요구되며, 기업은 이를 위해 스마트 팩토리의 도입이 필수적이다. 본 연구는 국내 스마트 팩토리 도입 기업들을 대상으로 스마트 팩토리 지속사용의도와 전환의도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 기술수용모형( Technology acceptance model: TAM)을 토대로 실증 분석한다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 스마트 팩토리를 운영 중인 기업들을 대상으로 온라인과 오프라인을 통해 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 최종적으로 122개의 표본을 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 스마트 팩토리에 관심 있는 연구자들과 실무자들에게 많은 시사점을 제공할 것이다.

조경식물의 생산 및 수요 현황과 개선 방안 -강원특별자치도를 사례로- (Current Status and Improvement Strategies for Landscape Plant Production and Demand -A Case Study of Gangwon State-)

  • The purpose of the study is to explore strategies to revitalize the distribution of landscaping plants in Gangwon State (hereinafter referred to as Gangwon-do). To understand the current distribution status and perception of landscape materials in Gangwon-do, a survey was conducted on producers and consumers focusing on cultivation area and method, cultivated species and quantity, purchase species and quantity, and purchase area. Producers often cultivated open land, and in the case of trees and shrubs, most of them cultivated <5 species. On the other hand, consumers preferred field cultivation products when purchasing trees and shrubs. Approximately 6-10 species of trees and shrubs were preferred for a single purchase, confirming an imbalance in the supply and demand of landscaping plants. In addition, both producers and consumers had a positive perception of landscape plant transactions in Gangwon-do; however, the dissatisfaction factors for producers included a small consumer base and difficulties for them in securing standards and quantities. Based on these results, it is necessary to establish a platform that can interconnect producers' landscape plant cultivation information with consumers' requirements to rejuvenate the landscape plant distribution market and enhance competitiveness in Gangwon-do. In addition, this platform is expected to have a positive impact on improving the quality of landscaping plants, setting reasonable prices, and increasing domestic demand in Gangwon-do by providing opportunities for cultivation, promotion, and marketing education through producer support projects.

농업용수 사용량 계측을 위한 전자파 표면유속계의 적용 (Application of microwave water surface current meter for measuring agricultural water intake)

  • 하천수의 통합적인 물관리를 위해서는 농업용수의 목적으로 취수되는 하천수량과 같은 기초자료의 확보가 필수적이다. 취입보를 통해 취수되는 하천수는 농업용수로를 통해 도수되는데, 계측지점의 특성에 맞는 취수량 계측방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 만경강 유역 어우보의 농업용수로 도플러 효과를 이용해 표면유속을 산정하는 전자파 표면유속계를 적용하였는데, 주로 홍수기와 같이 고유량 상황에서 사용되고 있다. 저유량이나 고풍속에서는 표면유속이 단면 전체의 평균유속을 대변하기 어렵기 때문에 연중 지속적인 활용도가 낮다고 평가받고 있어, 농업용수로에서 전자파 표면유속계를 이용한 계측이 적합한지에 대한 검증이 필요한 상황이다. 전자파 표면유속계로 계측한 자료를 실측 유량자료와의 비교를 통해 농업용수로에서의 취수량 자료를 산정하였다. 농업용수로에서 최저유속 약 0.3 m/s, 최저유량 약 1.0 m3/s 이상시 전자파 표면유속계를 이용해 산정되는 일단위 유량은 기준유량 대비 경향성과 정확도가 높은 편인 것으로 확인되었고, 특히, 고유량일때 정확도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 저유량에서는 양적인 측면에서는 유효한 결과를 얻을 수 있으나, 자료의 경향성이 불안정한 것으로 미루어 저유량시 표면유속으로 단면의 평균유속으로 산정하는 것에는 후속적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단한다. 본 연구를 통해 일정 유속 이상의 인공수로에서는 전자파 표면유속계를 통해 취수량을 산정하는 것이 적정한 것으로 사료되어 하천수 사용량 계측의 방안으로서 널리 보급되길 기대한다.

Korean research project on the integrated exposure assessment of hazardous substances for food safety

  • Objectives: This survey was designed to conduct the first nationwide dietary exposure assessment on hazardous substances including the intakes of functional food and herbal medicine. In this paper, we introduced the survey design and the results of the dietary exposure status and internal exposure levels of lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), and mercury (Hg). Methods: We selected 4867 subjects of all ages throughout Korea. We conducted a food survey, dietary survey, biomonitoring, and health survey. Results: Pb and Cd were the highest (median value) in the seaweed ($94.2{\mu}g/kg$ for Pb; $594{\mu}g/kg$ for Cd), and Hg was the highest in the fish ($46.4{\mu}g/kg$). The dietary exposure level (median value) of Pb was $0.14{\mu}g/kg$ body weight (bw)/d, $0.18{\mu}g/kg$ bw/d for Cd, and $0.07{\mu}g/kg$ bw/d for Hg. Those with a blood Pb level of less than $5.00{\mu}g/dL$ (US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, reference value for those 1 to 5 years of age) were 99.0% of all the subjects. Those with a blood Cd level with less than $0.30{\mu}g/L$ (German Federal Environmental Agency, reference value for non-smoking children) were 24.5%. For those with a blood Hg level with less than $5.00{\mu}g/L$ (human biomonitoring I, references value for children and adults, German Federal Environmental Agency) was 81.0 % of all the subjects. Conclusions: The main dietary exposure of heavy metals occurs through food consumed in a large quantity and high frequency. The blood Hg level and dietary exposure level of Hg were both higher than those in the European Union.

효율적인 농업면적 조사를 위한 무인항공기와 GIS의 활용 (Utilization of UAV and GIS for Efficient Agricultural Area Survey)

  • 본 연구에서는 무인 항공기 촬영 사진 정보의 실용성을 파악하였다. 따라서 무인 항공기를 활용한 사진촬영 대상 조사구 중 밭층 조사구역를 대상으로 연속적으로 총 4회 조사하여 조사 시기별 촬영된 무인 항공기 사진을 활용하여 조사구의 작황 변화에 대하여 분석하였다. 지형, 작물 식재, 작형의 변화가 많게 예상되는 지역인 밭층에서는 무인 항공기를 활용하여 현장조사 시기에 맞게 해당 조사구를 직접 촬영하여 사진 정보를 수집, 활용하는 것이 적합하다. 그리고 비교적 변화가 없는 논-시설층에서는 경제적, 효율적 측면을 고려하여 위성영상을 활용하는 것이 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 조사구역에 작물 재배조사를 위한 시스템들이 잘 갖추어지게 된다면, 향후 무인 항공기를 활용하여 일정한 지역에 대한 사진자료를 취득한 후 라이브러리를 활용하여 실시간으로 딥러닝을 활용할 수 있다. 이를 통해 작물의 작황상태를 파악, 재배 면적과 단위 면적당 수량 조사 등으로 전체 작황 및 출하량 등을 분석하는 데에 사용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
