  • In the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum, the system of equations is first introduced in 'Variables and Expressions' of [Middle School Grades 1-3]. Then, It is constructed that after learning the linear function in 'Functions', the relationship between the graphs of two linear functions and the systems of linear equations are learned so that students could improve the geometric representation of the systems of equations. However, in of Elective-Centered Curriculum Common Courses, Instruction is limited to algebraic manipulation when teaching and learning systems of quadratic equations. This paper presented the teaching and learning method that can improve students' mathematical connection through various representations by providing geometric representations in parallel using GeoGebra, a mathematics learning software, with algebraic solutions in the teaching and learning situation of simultaneous quadratic equations.

  • This study investigates effective ChatGPT prompts for solving mathematical problems, focusing on the chapters of quadratic equations and quadratic functions. A structured prompt was designed, following a sequence of 'Role-Rule-Example Solution-Problem-Process'. In this study, an artificial intelligence model combining GPT-4, Wolfram plugin, and Advanced Data Analysis was utilized. Wolfram was used as the primary tool for calculations to reduce computational errors. When using the structured prompt, the accuracy rate for problems from nine high school mathematics textbooks on quadratic equations and quadratic functions was 91%, showing higher performance compared to zero-shot prompts. This confirmed the effectiveness of the structured prompts in solving mathematical problems. The structured prompts designed in this study can contribute to the development of intelligent information systems for personalized and customized education.

  • Functional equations are useful in the experimental science because they play very important role for researchers to formulate mathematical models in general terms, through some not very restrictive equations that only stipulate basic properties of functions showing in these equations, without postulating the exact forms of such functions. Of lots of such functional equations, in this paper we adopt and solve some generalized quadratic functional equation a$^2$f((x+y/a))+b$^2$f((x-y/b)) = 2f(x)+2f(y)

  • We consider fixed-point iterations constructed by simple transforming from a quadratic matrix equation to equivalent fixed-point equations and assume that the iterations are well-defined at some solutions. In that case, we suggest real valued functions. These functions provide radii at the solution, which guarantee the local convergence and the uniqueness of the solutions. Moreover, these radii obtained by simple calculations of some constants. We get the constants by arbitrary matrix norm for coefficient matrices and solution. In numerical experiments, the examples show that the functions give suitable boundaries which guarantee the local convergence and the uniqueness of the solutions for the given equations.

  • In this article we shall introduce several operators on the reproducing kernel spaces and investigate quadratic forms on the $\mathcal{l}^2$ space. Using these operators we shall obtain a particular solution of a system of quadratic equations(1.5). Finally we can find an approximate solution of(1.5) by optimization of a nonnegative biquadratic polynomial.

  • In this paper we prove the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability by considering the cases that the approximate remainder ${\varphi}$ is defined by $f(x{\ast}y)+f(x{\ast}y^{-1})-2g(x)-2g(y)={\varphi}(x,y)$, $f(x{\ast}y)+g(x{\ast}y^{-1})-2h(x)-2k(y)={\varphi}(x,y)$, where (G, *) is a group, X is a real or complex Hausdorff topological vector space and f, g, h, k are functions from G into X.

  • This paper focuses on estimation of an non-integral quadratic function (NIQF) and integral quadratic function (IQF) of a random signal in dynamic system described by a linear stochastic differential equation. The quadratic form of an unobservable signal indicates useful information of a signal for control. The optimal (in mean square sense) and suboptimal estimates of NIQF and IQF represent a function of the Kalman estimate and its error covariance. The proposed estimation algorithms have a closed-form estimation procedure. The obtained estimates are studied in detail, including derivation of the exact formulas and differential equations for mean square errors. The results we demonstrate on practical example of a power of signal, and comparison analysis between optimal and suboptimal estimators is presented.
