A Study on the Make-up Expression and Purchasing Behavior Make-up Cosmetics Based on the Lifestyle (라이프스타일에 따른 색조화장 표현도와 색조화장품 구매행동에 관한 연구)

  • A Study on the make-up expression and purchasing behavior of make-up cosmetics based on the lifestyle. The intention of this study is to classily the consumer group based on the lifestyle, to research the characteristics and desire of the each group, and to find out the differences of the make-up expression and purchasing behavior of make-up cosmetics among each group. The result of this study are as follow; 1. We have obtained seven factors out of twenty six lifestyle items by using AIO lifestyle measurement. The seven factors are make-up high involvement factor, brand loyal factor, make-up bases factor, economical and natural beauty oriented factor, impulsive consumption oriented factor, stubborn choice factor, sensitive to others view factor 2. We have formed four groups based on the seven factors. The four groups are impulsive consumption type, professional make-up type, intentional make-up type, basic type. 3. It was examined that women want to express smart, ellegant and intelligent images form the make-up 4. According to the examination of the differences of the purchsing behavior, only the purchase motive, information source and cosmetics purchase amount per month was differentiate among the groups.

The Y Generation's Decision Factors of Purchasing Jeans in the United States (미국 Y세대의 청바지 구매결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • The Y generation born between 1981 and 1995 is the largest consumer group in the United States. This study is to provide an insight of understanding Y generation's decision factors of purchasing Jeans and the fit issues. This study investigated their purchasing decisions factors, including fit, cost, brand, color, and the media/internet influences. It is revealed that the Y generation might have access to the internet, but they still rely more on their peers and savvy skills to decide what they purchase. They preferred to shop from the land based retail stores rather than the internet. The fit was the most important factor of their purchasing decision, but less concerns of the brand. In this study, 87% of them chose "fit" as the reason to buy a pair of jeans. Fit problems were related to the price category. This study suggests apparel manufacturers should understand Y generation's fit issues in the global market.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the related factors of cautious purchasing for buyers who have purchased products in online shopping mall. First, we focus on the prevention focus, which is one of the personal characteristics, that affect the cautious purchase, and analyze the satisfaction of purchasing according to cautious purchase. Furthermore, we investigate the influence of emotional intelligence (self-awareness and social-awareness) on the process of cautious purchasing and satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach In order to verify the hypotheses, this study surveyed individuals who purchase products on the Internet for about 2 months from August to September 2016. A total of 250 copies were returned, but 20 questionnaires that were incomplete were excluded. Thus, the final 230 samples were analyzed. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used for hypothesis testing. Findings The result of this study showed that the cautious purchasing is stronger for the buyers with the prevention focus. And consumers who purchase carefully have higher satisfaction after purchasing. In addition, emotional intelligence in the cautious purchasing process has a positive moderating effect. Based on the results of this study, the theoretical and practical implications are suggested.

A Study on the Jacket Design Preference of Korean Baby-Boom Generation Women (베이비붐 세대 여성의 재킷 선호도에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to analyze the preference of jacket design, practical factors regarding jacket-wearing and purchasing behavior for korean baby- boom generation women. The results are as follows: 1. According to the outfit preference survey, the silhouette most preferred by female baby boomers is the "X-line Silhouette", "hip length", "slightly fitted and well fitted". The preferred jacket colors for different seasons were grey and beige for spring, white and light yellow for summer, khaki and brown for fall and black and dark grey for winter. 2. According to the survey on factors to consider when purchasing jackets, 52% indicated that they "almost never" or "occasionally" had their jackets repaired after purchasing them. When purchasing jackets, the highest expected effect of looking younger by wearing a jacket was "looking 4-5 years younger". 3. According to the survey on price demands, the average purchase price for jackets was 160,000~200,000 won (27.80%) followed by 210,000~350,000 won (25.64%) and a significant difference existed based on the purchasers' economic activities.

Cognition, Attitude and Purchasing Experience of SPA Brands by Types of Fashion Lifestyle (패션라이프스타일 유형에 따른 SPA 브랜드 인지, 태도 및 구매경험에 관한 연구)

  • The purposes of this study were to classify respondents by their fashion lifestyle and to investigate the differences in cognition, attitude and purchasing experience of SPA brands among fashion lifestyle groups. The convenience sample was drawn from females between the ages of 20 and 39 who lived in Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions from November $1^{st}$ and $15^{th}$ 2012. Descriptive statistics, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Tukey test, and ${\chi}^2$ test were applied to analyze data from 255 respondents. Four clusters (fashion-oriented group, fashion indifferent group, conservative individuality-oriented group, conservative practicality-oriented group) were developed by 16 fashion lifestyle items. The attitude toward SPA brand was classified by six factors(fashionability/variety, good location, good quality, diverse promotions, low price, limited number of merchandise, sales person's information). There were significant differences in cognition, five attitude factors (fashionability/variety, good location, good quality, low price, limited number of merchandise) and purchasing experience of SPA brands among types of fashion lifestyle. While the fashion-oriented group had the highest scores of cognition, attitude and purchasing experience of SPA brands, the fashion indifferent group or the conservative practicality-oriented group had the lowest scores. There were significant differences in age and marital status among the four groups while there were no significant differences in marital status, family monthly income, and job.

Perceptions of Mandu and Usage Behaviors by Mandu Type (만두에 대한 소비자들의 인식과 만두 유형별 이용 행동)

  • Mandu has become more increasingly essential and popular. Various types of Mandu are on saleavailable for purchase and are receiving good response from customers. This study explored the buyers' perceptions and their usage behaviors regarding to Mandu. The results showed the followings: 1) The respondents considered Mandu a snack rather than a meal. 2) The perceptions of a meal were different by gender, age, annual income, and number of children. 3) Respondents frequently have consumed frozen Mandu more than handmade Mandu and the type of Mandu consumed differed by age, marriage, occupation and annual income. 4) Respondents generally preferred meat to vegetable for as the stuffing in Mandu and favorite stuffings differed by gender and age. 5) The 'snack factor' was the highest purchasing motive among three factors including 'meal', 'economy' and 'snack' factor. 6) The derived factors for Mandu purchasing attributes were 'safety', 'loyalty/practicality' and 'storage' factor. 'Loyalty/practicality' represented the highest among them and each purchasing attribute differed according to gender, marriage and annual income.

  • This study attempted to improve frying powder products based on 272 consumers' purchase conditions. Factor analysis by type was conducted on purchase attributes of consumers who purchased frying powder by categorizing them based on five factors-namely, convenience, information, diversity, safety, and economy. Five main factors were divided into four purchase attributes named various pursuit, convenience pursuit, economical pursuit, and inform/safety pursuit. Purchasing status of frying powder products was analyzed according to three independent variables such as age, meal preparation type, and purchase attributes. The top motivation for using frying powder was convenience. According to the importance-satisfaction analysis survey, taste, expiration date, and certification mark were chosen as highly important and high satisfaction characteristics for frying powder (p<0.001), whereas nutrition, oil absorption, adhesiveness, crispiness, origin, and food additives were highly important and low satisfaction characteristics (p<0.001). In the conjoint analysis, crispiness was the most important attribute of fried food.

The Effect of Life Style on Eco-Friendly Clothing Practices and Efficacy in Middle School Students (중학생의 라이프스타일이 친환경적인 의생활 실천 및 효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • The world has been demanding a green growing world in order to solve serious environmental pollution and resource depletion. This study aims to identify life style factors that drive eco-friendly clothing practices and efficacy in middle school students. Data was collected from 215 middle school students in Daegu, using a self-administered questionnaire in December 2013. Statistical analyses to determine frequency, average, ANOVA, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis were performed using SPSS 21 program. The results of factor analysis indicated that eco-friendly clothing practices were classified into purchasing and management, reuse, washing, and recycle, and eco-friendly clothing practices efficacy was sub-grouped into practice confidence, purchasing and management efficacy, and washing and sharing efficacy, and life style consisted of fashion pursuit, environment pursuit, planned purchasing, and economy. Eco-friendly clothing practices and efficacy were significant differences in sex and grade (p<0.05). Eco-friendly clothing practices were significantly affected by the factors of environment pursuit, planned purchasing, economy of life style, and the factors of practice confidence, purchasing and management efficacy, and washing and sharing efficacy of eco-friendly clothing practices efficacy (p<0.05). The planned purchasing factor of life style significantly affected all the factors of eco-friendly clothing practices efficacy. This study suggests that eco-friendly clothing practices education program could account for the life style factors such as fashion pursuit, environment pursuit, planned purchasing, and economy with gender and grade to be effective for middle school students.

The Influence of Globalization Factors of Korean Traditional Liquor on National Brand Image and Purchasing Intention toward Traditional Liquor: Focusing on Japanese Inbound Visitors (한국 전통주의 세계화요인이 국가브랜드이미지 및 전통주 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 일본인 외래방문객을 중심으로)

  • This study was proceeded with interest on the influence of globalization factors of Korean traditional liquor on Korea national brand image and purchasing intention toward traditional liquor. Results show that the globalization factors except the superiority and special knowledge of Korean traditional liquor, the quality and promotion factors directly related to Korea brand image and purchasing intention toward traditional liquor. This fact improves the quality of Korean traditional liquor is most important factor deciding national brand image and purchasing intention. Also, Korea national brand image had influence on purchasing intention toward traditional liquor. And the quality factors of Korean traditional liquor had moderating effect on brand image and purchasing intention, which implies to improve quality and functional properties of Korean traditional liquor using promotion with Korean food to Japanese.

Developing Standards for Measuring Consumer's Impulse Purchasing in Internet Shopping Mall and Analysis of Characteristics (인터넷 쇼핑에서의 충동구매 측정을 위한 척도의 개발 및 특성분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a standardized scale to measure consume's impulse purchasing in internet shopping mall. As internet shopping is expanding rapidly, the consumer's impulse purchasing in the internet shopping is also increased. A preliminary 26-item scale was developed through a literature review. 1230 consumers responded to an online survey using the preliminary scale. This research was made with the intention of not only supplying the academic data on the consumer's impulse purchasing but also understanding the consume's basic behavior patterns in internet shopping mall. Then A series of tests, such as test-retest, item-to-total correlation, Cronbach's reliability coefficient and factor analysis, were conducted using the survey data. The final scale with 20-items was constructed in the end. The consume's impulse purchasing in internet shopping mall Scale for Consumers consisted of 4 factors.
