The Spitzer Public Legacy Survey of the UKIDSS Ultra Deep Survey (SpUDS) has been carried out with four IRAC bands and one MIPS band (24um). SpUDS surveys 1 square degree of the UDS field, that has been covered by one of the deepest near IR surveys and by various multiwavelength observations from X-ray to radio (XMM, GALEX, Subaru, SCUBA, VLA). We present a summary of the photometric data including number counts derived at 3.6-24 microns. In conjunction with extensive multiwavelengh data, we are able to show the multiwavelenght color distribution of MIR sources, and how different SED types contribute to the number counts.

Astronomical Observations at Chungbuk National University Observatory (CBNUO) with an 1 m telescope have begun since April 2008, and Near-Earth Space Survey observations also have been started since November 2010, with a 0.6 m wide field telescope developed by Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute. To improve observational efficiency, we developed a weather monitoring system enabling automatic monitoring for the weather conditions and checking the status of the observational circumstances, such as dome status. We hope this weather monitoring system can be helpful to more than 100 Korean domestic observatories, including public outreach facilities. In this paper, we present the statistic analysis of the weather conditions collected at CBNUO for 3 years (2009- 2011) and comparisons were made for clear nights between using only humidity data and both humidity and cloud data.

이 연구에서는 김해천문대 망원경을 이용하여 측광성능을 분석하고, 시민천문대의 망원경으로 경쟁력 있는 관측의 하나로서 소행성 탐사를 제안하기 위한 관측을 수행하였다. 관측은 김해천문대의 60cm반사망원경을 이용하여 2007년 1월 13일에 이루어졌다. 관측에는 $Sch\ddot{u}ler$ BVI 필터와 1K CCD 카메라(AP8p)를 이용하였다. 측광성능을 확인하기 위해 등급이 잘 알려진 산개성단 M67의 표준성 영역을 관측하였고, 관측한 자료들로부터 표준계 변환계수, 대기소광계수 등을 얻었으며, 측광의 정밀도를 구하였다. PSF 측광을 통하여 M67의 색-등급도를 구하였고, 유용한 한계등급과 성단의 물리적 특성 등에 대해 고찰하였는데, 이 방법은 시민천문대급의 망원경의 측광성능을 측정하는 방법으로 유용하게 사용할 수 있다. 한편, 소행성 등과 같은 신천체의 발견 가능성을 조사하기 위하여 황도의 충 부근의 임의의 영역을 관측하였고, 그 결과를 논의하였다. 연구 결과, 김해천문대에서는 18.3등급보다 밝은 태양계 미세 천체의 탐사와 16등급보다 밝은 별들의 측광 관측 등이 가능함을 확인 할 수 있었다. 즉, 김해천문대의 망원경으로도 과학적이며 신뢰성 있는 관측을 수행 할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 시민천문대에서의 천문 연구 활동 가능성을 시사한다.

Space Science and Technology Laboratory at Kyung Hee University developed an 80cm Nasmyth telescope with the joint work of Space & Astronomy, Inc. It was set up at Muju county public astronomical observatory in Jeonlabuk-Do. Nasmyth focus system was selected for the telescope to use two focal points by a rotatable tertiary mirror. Focal ratios of the telescope are f10, f5 respectively. Support of the main mirror is made with Lasalle-system. This system uses 24-points in the back side of the mirror that are all resting on small counter-weights and side support is 10-points Boll link Flexible type with 2 Lasalle type. The mount is wheel & disk type Alt-Azimuth design using DC-servo motors. External high accuracy encoder has 47,600 sine-waves/rot. These encoders are used to make real-time corrections on all gearing errors.
