  • To provide efficient keyword search on encrypted data, a public key encryption with keyword search (PEKS) was proposed by Boneh et al. A sender encrypts an e-mail and keywords with receiver's public key, respectively and uploads them on a server. Then a receiver generates a trapdoor of w with his secret key to search an e-mail related with some keyword w. However, Byun et al. showed that PEKS and some related schemes are not secure against keyword guessing attacks. In this paper, we propose a public key encryption with keyword search for restricted testability (PEKS-RT) scheme and show that our scheme is secure against keyword guessing attacks.

  • In this paper a new RSA public-key cryptosystem which expands conventional RSA pubilc-key cryptosystem is suggested. The number of multiplication times is increased by expanding the modulus parameters p, q which are the foundation of ciphering. As a result tha amount of calculation which required in cryptoanalysis is increased, and we could improve strength of RSA public-key cryptography through a proof based on integral number theory.

  • Certificate-based cryptography is a useful public key cryptographic primitive that combines the merits of traditional public key cryptography and identity-based cryptography. It not only solves the key escrow problem inherent in identity-based cryptography, but also simplifies the cumbersome certificate management problem in traditional public key cryptography. In this paper, by giving a concrete attack, we first show that the certificate-based encryption scheme without bilinear pairings proposed by Yao et al. does not achieve either the chosen-ciphertext security or the weaker chosen-plaintext security. To overcome the security weakness in Yao et al.'s scheme, we propose an enhanced certificate-based encryption scheme that does not use the bilinear pairings. In the random oracle model, we formally prove it to be chosen-ciphertext secure under the computational Diffie-Hellman assumption. The experimental results show that the proposed scheme enjoys obvious advantage in the computation efficiency compared with the previous certificate-based encryption schemes. Without costly pairing operations, it is suitable to be employed on the computation-limited or power-constrained devices.

  • This paper deals with cryptography by applying RSA and Petri nets. Firstly, we introduce RSA cryptography and a Petri net based private-key cryptography. Then we propose a new public-key cryptography, Petri Net based Public-Key Cryptography dented as PNPKC, by taking the advantages of these two proposed cryptographys and give an example to show how to apply PNPKC. Finally, we do the comparison between RSA cryptography and PNPKC on security as well as computation order. As the results, the security of PNPKC is as strong as RSA cryptography and further the encryption and decryption of PNPKC are in average 210 times as fast as RSA cryptography from our experimental data.

  • In this paper, we propose a new Two-factor Authentication and Key Exchange(TAKE) protocol that can be applied to low-power PDAs in Public Wireless LAMs using two factor authentication and precomputation. This protocol provides mutual authentication session key establishment, identity privacy, and practical half forward-secrecy. The only computational complexity that the client must perform is one symmetric key encryption and five hash functions during the runtime of the protocol.

  • In contrast with conventional networks, mobile ad hoc networks usually do not provide online access to trusted authorities or to centralized servers, and they exhibit frequent partitioning due to link and node failures and node mobility. For these reasons, traditional security solutions that require online trusted authorities or certificate repositories, but those are not well-suited for securing ad hoc networks. Moreover, a fundamental issue of securing mobile ad hoc networks is to ensure mobile nodes can authenticate each other. Because of its strength and efficiency, public key and digital signature is an ideal mechanism to construct the authentication service. Although this is already mature in the internet application, providing public key based authentication is still very challenging in mobile ad hoc networks. In this paper I propose a secure public key authentication service based on clustering model and trust model to protect nodes from getting false public keys of the others efficiently when there are malicious nodes in the network.

  • Qualified certificates in online financial and security transaction area are currently used for authentication of the user. The authorized user's public key certificates are stored in binary; the private key corresponding to the user's public key certificates is encrypted by the user password, and then is stored in a file. But the present management system to access the public certificates in local has some problems. In this study, we propose that the mobile public certificate management application to avoid the exist problems.

  • The cloud computing has propagated rapidly and thus there is growing interest on the introduction of cloud services in the public institution. Accordingly, domestic public institution are adoption of cloud computing impose and devise a plan. In addition, more specifically, is building a cloud computing system in the public institution. However, solutions to various security threats(e.g., availability invasion of storage, access by unauthorized attacker, data downloaded from uncertain identifier, decrease the reliability of cloud data centers and so on) is required. For the introduction and revitalize of cloud services in the public institution. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a public key based secure data management scheme for the cloud data centers in public institution. Thus, the use of cloud computing in the public institutions, the only authorized users have access to the data center. And setting for importance and level of difficulty of public data management enables by systematic, secure, and efficient. Thus, cloud services for public institution to improve the overall security and convenience.

  • Certificateless cryptography eliminates the need of certificacates in the public key crytosystems and solves the inherent key escrow problem in identity-based cryptosystems. This paper demonstrates that two certificateless signature schemes proposed by Guo et al. and Wang et al. respectively are insecure against key replacement attacks by a type I adversary. We show that the adversary who can replace a signer's public key can forge signatures under the replaced public key. We then make a suggestion to prevent the attacks.

  • In this paper, we propose a S/KEY based authentication protocol using smart cards to address the vulnerebilities of both the S/KEY authentication protocol and the secure one-time password protpcol which YEH, SHEN and HWANG proposed [1]. Because out protpcel is based on public key, it can authenticate the server and distribute a session key without any pre-shared secret. Also, it can prevent off-line dictionary attacks by using the randomly generated user is stored in the users smart card. More importantly, it can truly achieve the strength of the S/KEY scheme that no secret information need be stored on the server.
