연구개발정책의 경제성장효과: 공공연구개발과 기업연구개발보조 중심의 이론적 접근 (The Growth Effects of R&D Policy: A Theoretical Approach Focusing on Public R&D and Business R&D Subsidy)

  • This paper introduces two R&D policy instruments of public R&D and business R&D subsidy into the growth model of endogenous innovation simultaneously, and studies how they respectively affect economic growth, as well as how they interact with each other for the growth effects. Main results are as follow. The growth effects of each instrument are non-monotonous but various depending on the structure of economy. For example, the growth effects of public R&D become positive in the economy of more innovation-friendly structure such as larger marker size, more monopolistic market structure and more patient consumer, but the growth effects of business R&D subsidy become positive in the economy of less innovation-friendly structure such as smaller market size, more competitive market structure and more inpatient consumer. Meanwhile business R&D subsidy does not affect the growth effects of public R&D, but public R&D affects the growth effects of business R&D subsidy. Particularly, in the economy of less innovation-friendly structure public R&D becomes complimentary to business R&D subsidy.

국내외 소비자 제품 노출평가모델을 이용한 노출량 비교 (Comparison of Exposure Estimates Using Consumer Exposure Assessment Models and the Korean Exposure Algorithm)

  • Background: Exposure assessment is an important part of risk assessment for consumer products. Exposure models are used when estimating consumer exposures by considering exposure routes, subjects, and circumstances. These models differ based on their tiers, types, and target populations. Consequently, exposure estimates may vary between models. Objectives: This study aimed to compare the results of different exposure models using identical exposure factors. Methods: Chemical exposure from consumer products was calculated using four consumer exposure assessment models: Targeted Risk Assessment 3.1, Consumer Exposure Model 2.1 (CEM), ConsExpo web 1.1.1, and the Korean Exposure Algorithm (primary and detailed) issued by the Ministry of Environment, No. 972 (MOE). The same exposure factors were used in each model to calculate inhalation and dermal exposures to acetaldehyde, d-limonene, and naphthalene in all-purpose cleaners, leather coating sprays, and sealants. Results: In the results, TRA provided the highest estimate. Generally, MOE (detailed), CEM and ConsExpo showed lower exposures. The inhalation exposure for leather coating spray showed the largest differences between models, with differences reaching up to 1.2×107 times. Since identical inputs were used for the calculations, it is likely that the models significantly influenced the estimated results. Conclusions: Despite using the same exposure factors to calculate dermal and inhalation exposures, the results varied substantially based on the model's exposure algorithm. Therefore, selecting an exposure model for assessing consumer products should be done with careful consideration.

감성적 접근방법에 의한 공중전화기 디자인에 대한 연구 (Public Telephone Design by Approach Method of Human Sensibility)

  • 자급제용 공중전화기가 급속도로 증가하고 있는 추세에서 소비자의 디자인 감성을 파악하는 것은 소비자의 개성추구 경향을 반영한 제품을 만드는 토대가 되며, 이를 통해 제품 경쟁력을 높일 수 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 배경을 바탕으로 자급제용 공중전화기에 대한 소비자 욕구(감성)를 정량적으로 측정하였다. 1차 도출된 168개의 감성어휘를 SD척도로 실시한 결과 35개의 감성어휘가 추출되었으며 이를 대상으로 SD척도 7단 구성을 이용하여 남녀 대학생 30명에게 기존 10개의 제품 이미지에 대한 설문조사를 시행하였다. 감성어휘의 요인들간의 상관성을 파악하기 위해 요인분석을 실시하였고, 분류를 위해 군집분석을 실시하였으며, 디자인요소와 감성어휘와의 상관관계를 예측하기 위해 판별분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 감성어휘는 심미성, 기능성, 안전성의 3가지 요인으로 구분되었고, 디자인요소인 몸체, 핸드 셋, 다이얼 조립 판, 다이얼 버튼, 제어버튼, 칼라(몸체), 재질에 대해서 소비자가 느끼는 감성어휘와의 상관관계를 규명하다. 본 연구는 기존의 디자이너 개인의 감각에 의존하는 것보다 더 체계적이고 과학적으로 소비자의 욕구를 파악하여 소비자의 감성을 만족시키는 공중전화기 디자인의 개발에 도움이 되리라 본다.

친환경 패션 광고의 친환경 주장 유형과 소비자 언어가 광고효과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Environmental Claim Types and Consumer Vocabulary on Eco Fashion Advertisement)

  • Fashion industry have been emphasizing on eco-friendly business to enhance their public image. Due to the lack of consumers' awareness and experience of eco fashion advertising, this have resulted in adverse outcomes. Therefore, it is required to develop eco fashion advertisement that meets the public interest of Koreans. This study aims to obtain practical implications which can be applied to further eco fashion advertising. The study examines the public opinion towards eco fashion using Twitter as big data analysis and the protracted implication was provided to consumers as consumer vocabulary to see the advertising effect of consumer vocabulary. In addition, this study focuses on the environmental claim types to identify the most effective advertisement in eco fashion. The results are as follow. Associative claim types had a more positive influence on advertising attitude than substantive claim types. Substantive claim types had a more positive influence on brand cognition than associative claim types. In addition, the moderating effects of consumer vocabulary on advertising attitude and brand cognition were supported in substantive claim types. Advertisement attitude shows positive effects to both brand cognition and brand attitude. It has been proved that brand cognition leads to positive influence towards brand attitude and brand attitude eventually increases consumers' urge to buy products. This study has implication when providing a guideline for eco fashion advertisements.

공공도서관 사서대상 소비자건강정보(CHI) 관련 교육전후의 인식변화 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness of CHI-Related Education for Public Librarians)

  • 헬스리터러시(Health Literacy)는 적절한 건강진단을 위한 기본적인 건강정보 및 서비스를 획득하고 처리하고 이해할 수 있는 능력으로서, 사서들은 이용자뿐만 아니라 자신들의 헬스리터러시도 향상시켜야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 공공도서관 사서에게 적합한 건강정보활용교육 프로그램 개발에 기여하고자 건강관련 교육프로그램을 개발하고 이를 사서교육에 적용하였으며, 그 효과를 측정하고 개선사항도 발견하였다. 그 결과, 공공도서관 사서의 CHI(Consumer Health Information) 관련 용어에 대한 친숙도 증가, 교육후 이용자에 대한 교육증가 및 내용의 다양화, CHI관련 서비스를 수행하기 위해 활용하는 정보원의 다양화 및 전문화, 참고서비스에 걸리는 시간 절감 및 전문지식 부족의 한계에 대한 부담 감소 등의 부분에서 효과가 있었던 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 본 연구는 사서대상 CHI관련 교육과 관련하여 국내에서 최초로 수행된 연구로 교육강사 및 주제의 다양성, 방법론 부분에서 많은 한계가 있었으며, 향후 보다 발전된 CHI관련 교육 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다고 할 수 있다.

  • This study analyzes the contract terms to explore whether the content has any improper and/or unfair clause, reviews the consumer-related laws, and examines the activities of the regulatory systems in the telecommunication service markets. The major resets of the stud\ulcorner are: first, the level of regulation to contract terms is inconsistent across the services areas and needs to be coordinated; second, the standard contract terms need to be developed; third, the policy implications with respect to regulatory policy making and public education are developed; and lastly establishment of consumer advisory board to advise the commission on consumer issues and the consumer information and education center is suggested.

Implementing Character Education in the Family and Consumer Sciences Education Curriculum

  • Character education is an opportunity for students to develop character through teaching values in schools. In the past, students have been taught values at home but contemporary society has strongly encouraged the public schools to provide time for children to learn values because society is facing a crisis of human values that affects the behavior of individuals. According to research findings, the primary benefit of character education is to develop the intellectual, personal, and social aspects of students. However, there are some problems concerning how to teach values and how to evaluate student outcomes in public schools. This article explores the current character education in the U. S. through a review of the literature in order to reach a better understanding of how character education might be included in the Family and Consumer Sciences Education curriculum.

온라인 쇼핑몰 이용자의 불만과 불평행동에 관한 연구 (Study on Consumer Dissatisfaction and Complaint Behavior of Online Shopping Mall)

  • Consumer dissatisfaction and complaints make it difficult for online shopping mall to maintain existing customers and attract new customers, which may result in a direct profit loss. The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between customer dissatisfaction in terms of product-complaints and website complaints and complaint behaviors in terms of individual, public, and 3rd party complaint behaviors. Th results indicate that product-dissatisfaction is significantly related to the public and 3rd party complaint behaviors, but not the individual complaint behavior. Website dissatisfaction was not found to be significantly related to any complaint behavior. The moderate effect of sex and individual attitude on the relationship between customer dissatisfaction and complaint behaviors was also not considerable.

Consumer Purchasing Decisions on Sustainable Products in Advertising: The Interplay of Message Appeals and Agency-Communion Orientations

  • Both message appeals and individual characteristics can influence the effectiveness of sustainable product promotions. Applying the agency-communion orientation to the advertising message research context, this study examined the interplay between message appeals and agency-communication orientations in impacting purchase intentions. The findings from a 2 (message appeal: self-interest vs. public-interest message) × 2 (motivational orientation: agency vs. communion) experiment revealed a communion-over-agency effect on consumer purchasing decisions for public-interest message appeals. In the self-interest message condition, we found no statistically significant difference in impact between agency and communion on purchase intentions. In short, we contribute to advertising effectiveness research by showing that agency-communion orientations moderate the effect of message appeals. We also explain the practical implications of these findings for effective sustainable communication in advertisements based on individuals' motivational orientations.

아파트 구매자가 인지하는 위험유형에 관한 연구 - 전주지역을 중심으로 - (A study on the Types of perceived risk in consumer's purchasing public apartment)

  • The central problem of purchasing houses is choice, which is accompanied by perception of risk. Perceived risk is defined as a risk perceived by a consumer subjectively in choice situations. The components of perceived risk are uncertainty and consequence. There are seven types of perceived risk in purchasing houses. Those are financial risk, functional risk, social risk, psychological risk, physical risk, time risk and future opportunity lost risk. The empirical survey about comsumer's purchasing Public Apartment suggests : 1) In general, rspondents perceive relatively high risk in purchasig Public Apartment. 2) Of seven risk types, financial, functionalm, future opportunity lost, time, and social risk correlate highest with overall perceived risk and explain the variance of it. 3) Physical and psychological risks don't correlate significantly with overall perceived risk. From the findings in empirical analysis, consumers are recommended to device riskreduction activities in purchasing Public Apartment. 1. Active information search is needed in purchasing Public Apartment in order to reduce overall perceived risk. 2. Housing concept should change from ownership to rental thinking. 3. Consumers should be accustomed to Housing Loans by bank. 4. Purchasing goals should be established clearly before purchasing houses. 5. Careful deliberation is required and informations from personal sources are useful.
