The purpose of this paper is to find out the investigation of overseas case in Street Furnitures of Public Design. Thus this research regions select among the waterfront cities; Tokyo/Yokohama(Japan), Nies/Cannes(France), Shanghai(China), Vancouver(Canada), in addition to the city of art and romance; Paris. Above all, it is necessary to study concept of public design and definition of street furnitures. The survey data collected from forenamed cities and the items of street furnitures are various installments such as kiosk, bench, bollard, litter-bin, sign board, toilet, bus/taxi station, fence, shelter, lighting column, fountain, telephone-booth, clock-tower, automaton, bicycle stand, playing object etc. In this study street spaces are analysed that is related to regional surroundings and pedestrian's culture. Consequently, design trend of street furniture in foreign case analysis are going into thoroughly modern image as well as checking of form, color, material and maintenance system. According to the above findings, this paper will provide basic data for establishing of the street furniture and improving of public design to the regional citizen, local government officials and regional experts.
Recent days, the global warming problem due to excessive use of fossil fuels has been the world wide issue so that Korea government and developed countries make an alternative plan for eco-friendly and transportations by utilizing bicycles for health promotion. Existing Public Bicycle Rental Service Systems provide simple service such as bicycle rental management and tracking the location. However there is no user-side service for the information of the measure of carbon reduction, or use of bicycles. The proposed system in this paper provides users' health information, environmental information, personal information, counseling services and the measures of carbon reduction. The new system has been developed to carry out reducing carbon and growing green in terms of using bicycles by adopting Web 2.0 technology.

With the growth of the global sharing economy market, various sharing services have recently appeared in South Korea. Seoul city unmanned public bicycle rental service, "Ttareuni" is one of the services representing the shared mobility industry in South Korea. Although many users use this service, the usability of the mobile application, which is the essential medium of utilizing the service, is not improving. In this regard, this study conducted usability testing and in-depth interviews for Ttareungi's main users in their 20s and 30s to improve the user experience of the mobile application of Ttareungi. As a result, the problems of Ttareungi mobile application were identified, and based on this, design considerations for shared mobility services having publicity like Ttareungi were proposed. This is expected to contribute to improving the user experience of shared mobility services.
Recently, people's interest in particulate matter (PM) has been increasing, due to its hazardous health effects. The purpose of this study was to investigate the concentrations and as well as the inhaled weight of PM, correlated with person's heart rate in subway, bus, vehicle and bicycle in the major public transportation (Sadang - Jamsil and Nowon - Dongdaemun) in Seoul. The concentration of $PM_{10}$ and $PM_{2.5}$ were measured from each of transportation means and calculated the average concentrations which were 87.2 and $57.8{\mu}g/m^3$ for subway, 62.8 and $42.5{\mu}g/m^3$ for vehicle, 61.5 and $36.8{\mu}g/m^3$ for bus and 53.0 and $29.4{\mu}g/m^3$ for bicycle in $PM_{10}$ and $PM_{2.5}$ respectively. Inhalation dose for $PM_{10}$ and $PM_{2.5}$ were estimated at 248.1 and $139.4{\mu}g$ for bicycle, 56.7 and $39.3{\mu}g$ for vehicle, 49.4 and $29.9{\mu}g$ for bus and 44.3 and $29.1{\mu}g$ for subway, respectively. Even though subway had the highest concentration, the highest inhalation dose was the bicycle. It was due to the long travel time-exposure and breathing rate which leads to maximum of $PM_{10}$ 5.6 and $PM_{2.5}$ with 4.8 times inhalation dose comparing with other modes of transportation. With regards to future studies, the amount of inhalation in each transportation means should be considered in risk assessments of PM.

This study analyzed how external variables, such as the supply policy of shared bicycles and the spread of infectious diseases, affect the demand for shared bicycle use in the COVID-19 era. In addition, this paper presents a methodology for more accurate predictions. The Seasonal Auto-Regulatory Integrated Moving Average with Exogenous stressors methodology was applied to capture the effects of exogenous variables on existing time series models. The exogenous variables that affected the future demand for shared bicycles, such as COVID-19 and the supply of public bicycles, were statistically significant. As a result, from the supply volume and COVID-19 outbreak according to the scenario, it was estimated that approximately 46,000 shared bicycles would be supplied by 2022, and the COVID-19 cases would continue to be at the current level. In addition, approximately 32 million and 45 million units per year will be needed in 2021 and 2024, respectively.
As the green transportation mode, revitalization of bike usage attracts remarkable public attention. For the acquirement of effective outcome, however, the concrete and close analysis about bike utilization characteristics should be arranged first. One result by MLTM(2009) is support this opinion; the bike mode share has been decreased whereas 9,170km of the bicycle path was improved(1995~2007). This study analyzed the bike mode share classified by trip types by using the 303,308 data of Household Travel Survey of Seoul Metropolitan Area, 2006. The highest mode share rate was induced by the institute attendee and Officetel resident as 3.75% and 3.13%, respectively. Also this study established the bike mode share estimation model of Seoul by logistic regression, and analyzed related factors and level of effectiveness related bike demand by calculation of odds ratio in terms of logistic regression coefficients. In conclusion, short trips, institutes district, parks, and Officetel residential area oriented policy should be effective on the revitalization of bike usage.

PURPOSES : The aim of this study is to analyze economic effect of bike-sharing after its introduction in Korea. METHODS : This study reviews current bike-sharing situations in Korea and other nations. We conduct surveys on bike-sharing system's bike usage patterns and economic benefits in Changwon and Goyang cities where public bikes are the most popular in the nation. Economic benefits are itemized after reviewing relevant previous studies. Then, the survey is implemented using the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). Then estimated benefit is compared to the cost which is necessary for bike-sharing introduction and operation. RESULTS : Using the average WTP per household, the total economic benefit of bike-sharing is estimated as much as 1.75 billion KRW to 3.75 billion KRW in Goyang and Changwon city. Using estimated benefit, economic effect of bike-sharing are calculated as 0.69 and 1.00, respectively. CONCLUSIONS : The result of this study shows bike-sharing could be useful economic policy in Korea. However, economic effect of bike-sharing differs by city.
As the need for eco-friendly transportation increases due to the deepening climate crisis, many local governments in Korea are introducing shared bicycles. Due to anxiety about public transportation after COVID-19, bicycles have firmly established themselves as the axis of daily transportation. The use of shared bicycles is spread, and the demand for bicycles is increasing by rental offices, but there are operational and management difficulties because the demand is managed under a limited budget. And unfortunately, user behavior results in a spatial imbalance of the bike inventory over time. So, in order to easily operate the maintenance of shared bicycles in Seoul, bicycles should be prepared in large quantities at a time of high demand and withdrawn at a low time. Therefore, in this study, by using machine learning, the linear regression algorithm and MS Azure ML are used to predict and analyze when demand is high. As a result of the analysis, the demand for bicycles in 2018 is on the rise compared to 2017, and the demand is lower in winter than in spring, summer, and fall. It can be judged that this linear regression-based prediction can reduce maintenance and management costs in a shared society and increase user convenience. In a further study, we will focus on shared bike routes by using GPS tracking systems. Through the data found, the route used by most people will be analyzed to derive the optimal route when installing a bicycle-only road.

Although porous concrete is resently used as a pavement at a parking lot, a public squre and a bicycle road, we use without enough examining. most the maintenance of quality for porous concrete is only dealt with strength and color tone. also, there is not yet enough fundamental data about dynamical properties for strength, rate of void and water permeability. even when it is applied to at the scene, it is been a matter. Accodingly in this study analyzed influences through the dynamical properties, combination, and time to vibration. After the analyzation, they investigated peculiar dynamics which are strength of porous concrete, rate of void, and water permeability follow the rate of increase on an admixture making pozzolan reaction. This is purpose to improve capacity of the sidewalk permeable concrete and development of the economical technique for pavement.
Due to the acceleration of the 4th industrialization, the data around us rapidly increased. Therefore, it is necessary to be able to more easily grasp the nature and meaning of data obtained through data analysis than to collect data, and apply it flexibly to the value judgment of data. Visualization technology is now attracting attention in many fields. Visualization allows the user to more easily grasp the information of the data with graphs, charts, etc. so that the data analysis result can be understood more easily, so that the user can make an immediate judgment and make a quick decision. Among them, there is a high degree of interest in visualization using public data, which is highly useful to users. In this paper, we implemented R - library and R Studio to visualize public data at the installation sites of bicycle storage sites among various software that can express visualization.
