Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy and clinical usability of an identification model using deep learning for 79 dental implant types. Materials and Methods: A total of 45396 implant fixture images were collected through panoramic radiographs of patients who received implant treatment from 2001 to 2020 at 30 dental clinics. The collected implant images were 79 types from 18 manufacturers. EfficientNet and Meta Pseudo Labels algorithms were used. For EfficientNet, EfficientNet-B0 and EfficientNet-B4 were used as submodels. For Meta Pseudo Labels, two models were applied according to the widen factor. Top 1 accuracy was measured for EfficientNet and top 1 and top 5 accuracy for Meta Pseudo Labels were measured. Results: EfficientNet-B0 and EfficientNet-B4 showed top 1 accuracy of 89.4. Meta Pseudo Labels 1 showed top 1 accuracy of 87.96, and Meta pseudo labels 2 with increased widen factor showed 88.35. In Top5 Accuracy, the score of Meta Pseudo Labels 1 was 97.90, which was 0.11% higher than 97.79 of Meta Pseudo Labels 2. Conclusion: All four deep learning algorithms used for implant identification in this study showed close to 90% accuracy. In order to increase the clinical applicability of deep learning for implant identification, it will be necessary to collect a wider amount of data and develop a fine-tuned algorithm for implant identification.
In this paper, novel CMOS pseudo-exponential circuits operating in a class-AB mode are presented. The pseudo-exponential approximation employed is based on second order equations. Such terms are derived in a straightforward way from the inherent nonlinear currents of class-AB transconductors. The cells are appropriate to be integrated in portable equipment due to their compactness and very low power consumption. Measurement results from a fabricated prototype in a 0.5 ${\mu}m$ technology reveal a range of 45 dB with errors lower than ${\pm}0.5$ dB, a power consumption of 100 ${\mu}W$, and an area of 0.01 $mm^2$.

The expected busy period for the controllable M/G/1 queueing model operating under the triadic policy is derived by using the pseudo probability density function which is totally different from the actual probability density function. In order to justify the approach using the pseudo probability density function to derive the expected busy period for the triadic policy, well-known expected busy periods for the dyadic policies are derived from the obtained result as special cases.
The reactions of triplet oxygen atom with halomethanes as a potential fire extinguisher were studied by a discharge flow-chemiluminescence imaging method. The experiments were carried out under second order conditions. The bimolecular atom-molecule reaction rate constants were determined in terms of the initial rate method. The initial concentration of oxygen atom was also determined under second order rate law instead of the pseudo-first order conditions with $[O(^3P)]_0{\ll}[sample]_0$. The second order conditions were more reliable than pseudo-first order conditions for the determinations of rate constants. The rate constants of the reactions $CF_3I\;+\;O(^3P)$, $CH_3PI\;+\'O(^3P)$, and $CHBrCl_2\;+\;O(^3P)$ were determined to be $5.0\;{\times}\;10^{-12}$ , $1.1\;×\;0^{-11}$ , and $1.9\;{\times}\;10^{-14}cm^3molecule^{-1}s^{-1}$, respectively.

In this paper, using third-order system of the PLL we'll analyze the aspect of flicker noise appearing troubles in the low frequency band. Since it is difficult to analyze mathematically flicker noise in the third-order system of the PLL, introducing the concept of pseudo-damping factor using the optimized second-filter has made an ease of the access of the flicker-noise variance. we'll show a numerical formula of flicker variance in the third-order system of the PLL which is compared with that of 1/f noise variance in the second-order system of the PLL.

In this thesis, the cognition of students gifted in science on pseudo science was studied in order to acquire basic data to develop a learning program. As a first step, the difference of cognition on pseudo science between science-gifted students and general students in elementary, middle and high schools was studied. Findings revealed that science-gifted students had more negative thought on pseudo science than general students. In addition, there was no progress in their cognition on pseudo science as entered higher grades. Secondly, the cognition of students in a science high school, three times over a 6-month period, was studied. Through this study, it was found that student concepts of pseudo science was not firm, and it is quite possible to induce students to think logically and rationally with the help of a well-organized learning program. Lastly, the factors that might affect student ideas on pseudo science were researched. Students were affected by media such as television and books and also by personal experience. Therefore, students should be trained to correctly judge information presented in the media as authentic or false. Moreover, they should also be provided chances to look back on positive astrological experiences.
Carboxylated multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs-COOH) have been used as efficient adsorbents for the removal of picric acid from aqueous solutions under stirring and ultrasound conditions. Batch experiments were conducted to study the influence of the different parameters such as pH, amount of adsorbents, contact time and concentration of picric acid on the adsorption process. The kinetic data were fitted with pseudo-first order, pseudo-second-order, Elovich and intra-particle diffusion models. The kinetic studies were well described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model for both methods. In addition, the adsorption isotherms of picric acid from aqueous solutions on the MWCNTs were investigated using six two-parameter models (Langmuir, Freundlich, Tempkin, Halsey, Harkins-Jura, Fowler-Guggenheim), four three-parameter models (Redlich-Peterson, Khan, Radke-Prausnitz, and Toth), two four-parameter equations (Fritz-Schlunder and Baudu) and one five-parameter equation (Fritz-Schlunder). Three error analysis methods, correlation coefficient, chi-square test and average relative errors, were applied to determine the best fit isotherm. The error analysis showed that the models with more than two parameters better described the picric acid sorption data compared to the two-parameter models. In particular, the Baudu equation provided the best model for the picric acid sorption data for both methods.
An increase in population initiating rapid industrialization was found to consequently increase the effluents and domestic wastewater into the aquatic ecosystem. In this research the potentialities of Sambucus nigra L. (SNL) plant in the remediation of water, contaminated with methylene blue (MB), a basic dye were investigated. SNL was chemically impregnated with $KHCO_3$. Operating variables studied were pH, amount of adsorbent and contact time. In general, pH did not have any significant effect on colour removal and the highest adsorption capacity was obtained in 0.035 g MB/g-activated carbon. The Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin and Dubinin-Radushkevich adsorption models were applied to describe the equilibrium isotherms. The adsorption isotherm data were fitted to the Temkin isotherm. The mass transfer property of the sorption process was studied using Lagergren pseudo-first-order and chemisorption pseudo-second-order kinetic models. The sorption process obeyed the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The surface area, pores volume and diameter were assessed by the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller and Barrett-Joyner-Halenda methods. The results were compared to those from activated carbon (Merck) and an actual sample. The results indicate that SNL can be employed as a natural and eco-friendly adsorbent material for the removal of dye MB from aqueous solutions.

Four activated carbons were produced by two-stage process as followings; semi-carbonization of indigenous biomass waste, i.e. cotton stalks, followed by chemical activation with KOH under various activation temperatures and chemical ratios of KOH to semi-carbonized cotton stalks (CCS). The surface area, total pore volume and average pore diameter were evaluated by $N_2$-adsorption at 77 K. The surface morphology and oxygen functional groups were determined by SEM and FTIR, respectively. Batch equilibrium and kinetic studies were carried out by using a basic dye, methylene blue as a probe molecule to evaluate the adsorption capacity and mechanism over the produced carbons. The obtained activated carbon (CCS-1K800) exhibited highly microporous structure with high surface area of 950 $m^2/g$, total pore volume of 0.423 $cm^3/g$ and average pore diameter of 17.8 ${\AA}$. The isotherm data fitted well to the Langmuir isotherm with monolayer adsorption capacity of 222 mg/g for CCS-1K800. The kinetic data obtained at different concentrations were analyzed using a pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order and intraparticle diffusion equations. The pseudo-second-order model fitted better for kinetic removal of MB dye. The results indicate that such laboratory carbons could be employed as low cost alternative to commercial carbons in wastewater treatment.
