잠재범주회귀모형의 성향점수를 이용한 잠재변수의 원인적 영향력 추론 연구 (Latent causal inference using the propensity score from latent class regression model)

  • 무작위 통제시험에서와 달리, 관찰연구에서는 편향되지 않은 인과관계를 추론하기 위한 통계적 전략이 필요하다. 최근 잠재범주분석(latent class analysis; LCA)에서 처치의 평균인과효과(average causal effect; ACE)를 추정하기 위한 새로운 방법들이 제안되었으나 이러한 방법들은 실제 데이터를 분석하는 응용 연구에 초점이 맞춰있다. 따라서 ACE의 참값을 알 수 없어 추정 방법의 성능을 평가하는 데 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 Park과 Chung(2014)이 제안한 방법을 개선하여, 다항범주형 처치변수가 잠재변수인 상황에서 다항범주형 결과변수에 미치는 인과효과 추정방법을 제안하고 처치변수와 결과변수가 잠재변수 또는 관측변수를 포함하는 여러 상황에서 본 연구가 제안한 인과효과 추정방법의 성능을 모의실험연구를 통하여 평가하고자 한다. 더불어 'National Longitudinal Study of Adolescents Health'자료를 사용하여 미국 여성 청소년 성장과 약물사용에 대한 인과효과를 추론하고자 한다.

메타버스 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 혁신저항 모델을 중심으로 (A Study on the Factors Influencing the Intention to Use the Metaverse: Focusing on Innovation Resistance Model)

  • 본 연구는 최근 주목받고 있는 메타버스의 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 다양한 변인을 확인하는 것이 목적이다. 특히 기존의 연구가 메타버스의 확산에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 변인에만 초점을 맞추었다면, 혁신저항과 같이 특정한 변화를 거부하는 소비자의 심리적 변인을 함께 살펴 이용과 저항의 관점을 모두 살펴보고자 하였다. 혁신확산에 영향을 미치는 소비자특성과 혁신특성 변인을 구성하여 혁신저항과 메타버스에 대한 태도, 메타버스 이용의도와의 관계를 살펴 보았다. 연구결과, 혁신성향과 사회적 이미지, 적합성이 메타버스에 대한 저항에 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 혁신성향과 사회적 이미지, 적합성, 상대적 이점, 복잡성과 관찰가능성은 혁신저항과 메타버스에 대한 태도를 매개하여 최종적으로 메타버스 이용의도에 정적‧부적 영향력을 가지는 변인으로 드러났다.

예측성향을 고려한 비대칭 서포트벡터 회귀의 적용 (Application of Asymmetric Support Vector Regression Considering Predictive Propensity)

  • Most of the predictions using machine learning are neutral predictions considering the symmetrical situation where the predicted value is not smaller or larger than the actual value. However, in some situations, asymmetric prediction such as over-prediction or under-prediction may be better than neutral prediction, and it can induce better judgment by providing various predictions to decision makers. A method called Asymmetric Twin Support Vector Regression (ATSVR) using TSVR(Twin Support Vector Regression), which has a fast calculation time, was proposed by controlling the asymmetry of the upper and lower widths of the ε-tube and the asymmetry of the penalty with two parameters. In addition, by applying the existing GSVQR and the proposed ATSVR, prediction using the prediction propensities of over-prediction, under-prediction, and neutral prediction was performed. When two parameters were used for both GSVQR and ATSVR, it was possible to predict according to the prediction propensity, and ATSVR was found to be more than twice as fast in terms of calculation time. On the other hand, in terms of accuracy, there was no significant difference between ATSVR and GSVQR, but it was found that GSVQR reflected the prediction propensity better than ATSVR when checking the figures. The accuracy of under-prediction or over-prediction was lower than that of neutral prediction. It seems that using both parameters rather than using one of the two parameters (p_1,p_2) increases the change in the prediction tendency. However, depending on the situation, it may be better to use only one of the two parameters.

Korean E-commerce Platform's Dashboard Style Decision Support System

  • Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, SMEs are forced to converge themselves into online business to cope with the rapidly changing business environment. However, due to various difficulties of becoming an online business, most SMEs choose to use services provided by the online sales platform. These platforms offer valuable support such as DSS in return for the high amount of commission fee. We analyze a novel data set from Naver Corporation's 'Smart Store' platform with the quasi-experimental method (propensity score matching technique combined with the difference in differences analysis) to analyze DSS usage and SME's performance empirically. Our results suggest that DSS usage leads to an increase in SME's sales performance in means of sales frequency and sales amount. Additionally, we have found weak support that DSS usage enables SMEs to attract customers better than those not using DSS.

  • In this paper, we draws tendency of the electricity consumption in residential buildings according to inhabitants Composition types and the level of incomes. it is necessary to reduce energy cost and keep energy security through the electricity demand forecasting and management technology. Progressive social change such as increases of single household, the aging of society, increases in the income level will replace the existing residential electricity demand pattern. However, Only with conventional methods that using only the energy consumption per-unit area are based on Energy final consumption data can not respond to those social and environmental change. To develop electricity demand estimation model that can cope flexibly to changes in the social and environmental, In this paper researches propensity of electricity consumption according to the type of residents configuration, the level of income. First, we typed form of inhabitants in residential that existed in Korea. after that we calculated hourly electricity consumption for each type through National Time-Use Survey performed at the National Statistical Office with considering overlapping behavior. Household appliances and retention standards according to income level is also considered.

  • There has been an increasing and widespread use of smartphones to make consumer purchases. Given the stark increases in the sales of business transactions using mobile phones, it is obvious that mobile phones have become major mediums for consumer purchases. Through mobile phones, people can make their purchases anytime, anywhere, which leads their impulse of consumption directly to actual actions of consumption. Consequently, mobile commerce has become widely spread and the competition of the market has intensified. The main findings and implications of this study are as follows. First, it is shown that, among the features of mobile commerce, elements of fun, usefulness, convenience, immediateness, and security affect mobile commerce user satisfaction. Second, among mobile commerce-related consumers' propensity, innovative consumption tendency appears to impact mobile commerce user satisfaction and repurchase intention. Third, recognition of elements in regards to fun, usefulness, convenience, immediateness, and security among features of mobile commerce affect consumers' intention to repurchase mobile commerce. Future recognition for mobile commerce has a direct impact on increasing consumers' repurchase intentions. Last, a higher mobile commerce user satisfaction leads to the higher repurchase intentions.

Propensity Score Matching 방법을 이용한 간호중재 효과 평가 (The Use of Propensity Score Matching for Evaluation of the Effects of Nursing Interventions)

  • Background: Nursing intervention studies often suffer from a selection bias introduced by failure of random assignment. Evaluation with selection bias could under or over-estimate any intervention's effects. PS matching (PSM) can reduce a selection bias through matching similar Propensity Scores (PS). PS is defined as the conditional probability of being treated given the individual's covariates and it can be reused to balance the covariates of two groups. Purpose: This study was done to assess the significance of PSM as an alternative evaluation method of nursing interventions. Method: An intervention study for patients with some baseline individual characteristic differences between two groups was used for this demonstration. The result of a t-test with PSM was compared with a t-test without matching. Results: The level of HbA1c at 12 months after baseline was different between the two groups in terms of matching or not. Conclusion: This study demonstrated the effects of a quasi-random assignment. Evaluation using PSM can reduce a selection bias impact that affects the result of the nursing intervention. Analyzing nursing research more objectively to reduce selection bias using PSM is needed.

  • 관광옴니채널 서비스에 대한 관광객 통합기술수용모형의 구매의도 파악을 본 연구의 목적으로 한다. 연구방법으로서 통합기술수용이론(UTAUT)에 근거하여 관광객의 수용의도와 구매의도간의 관계를 분석한 후 이들 관계에서의 신뢰와 구매성향의 조절효과를 파악하였다. 분석결과로서 1)관광옴니채널에 대한 통합기술 수용의도가 구매의도에 부분적으로 유의(+)한 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 2)통합기술수용의도와 구매의도간의 관계에 신뢰가 미치는 조절작용은 부분적으로 유의(+)한 것으로 확인되었다. 3)통합기술수용의도와 구매의도간의 관계에 구매성향이 미치는 조절작용은 부분적으로 유의(+)한 것으로 확인되었다. 다양해진 고객의 구매의도 증진을 위해서는 온오프라인을 통합한 옴니채널의 신뢰성을 확보해야 할 것이며, 향후 관광옴니채널 서비스의 구매성향에 관한 심층적 연구가 요구된다.

스마트폰 이용이 은퇴 노인의 구조적 사회관계망에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Smartphone Use on Structured Social Network Types among Retired Older Adults in South Korea)

  • 본 연구는 은퇴 이후 노인의 스마트폰 이용이 구조적 사회관계망에 미치는 효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2014년 노인실태조사 자료를 활용하였으며, 전체 자료 중 은퇴한 노인 4,180명을 대상으로 성향점수매칭(Propensity Score Matching)을 실시한 결과, 최종 분석에는 총 982명(스마트폰 이용자 491명, 피처폰 이용자 491명)이 선정되었다. 이후 t-test와 다중회귀분석(Multiple regression analysis)을 이용하여 스마트폰 이용과 구조적 사회관계망의 관계를 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 스마트폰을 이용하는 은퇴 노인은 일반 피처폰을 이용하는 은퇴 노인에 비해 통계적으로 높은 수준의 구조적 사회관계망을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로, 스마트폰을 이용하는 경우, 일반 피처폰을 이용하는 것보다 높은 빈도의 사회접촉과 높은 수준의 사회활동을 보였다. 본 연구는 스마트폰이 구조적 사회적관계망에 주는 긍정적인 효과에 대해 실증적으로 검증하였다는 학문적 의의를 가지며, 은퇴한 노인들의 구조적 사회관계망을 증진시키고 적극적 사회참여를 장려하는 실천적 개입에 중요한 기초자료로서 활용될 수 있다.

Measuring RFID Adoption Factors with Cognitive Styles : A Preliminary Examination of Consumers' Perceptions

  • The Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID), once used widely, is expected to provide improved convenience in our everyday life. Crude observations of RFID consumption show that there is a wide variation in the adoption of this technology across different individuals. One plausible explanation is that consumers with challenging mind who seek for new technologies and have a good grasp of the new RFID technology should have higher propensity to use the technology. A better understanding of such acceptance pattern of RFID is of high importance in establishing technology providers' marketing strategies. This study is aimed to explain differences in the level of RFID acceptance focusing on cognitive styles of potential RFID users. By presenting potential RFID users' discriminative propensity toward RFID technology, this study hopes to provide guidelines for the design of service strategies that facilitate consumers' acceptance of RFID.
