  • Since 1990's, many enterprises have implemented ERP System. Especially, they want to become an advanced company use ERP implementation. Already, ERP system come to high level which is stabilized and support independent business process of many industry sectors. Although most companies had previous good plans, but those are not satisfied. Because of failed to change management and had many problem about Project team operation. Therefore, important success factors for ERP project are change management and organization activation for Project team. The purpose of this study is suggest to improve method about team activation through analysis the Project team member's individual personality as a factor that makes the success of Project team. This paper studied success factors of project team and plan for organization activation. The results of this study can be used for a successful implementation of the ERP system as make of Project team consider of individual personality and administer a Project team.

  • This paper is a study on the management system of data and documents for the LRT Project using the systems engineering approach. It is addressed a computed based management system using the Systems Engineering Approach toward system thinking to manage effectively and efficiently data and documents. Because the unified efforts was insufficient data and outcomes of project management and systems engineering during the existing LRT Project, we proposed the unified computer management system for the project management and systems engineering efforts using the systems engineering methodology like as a operation concept, collection and analysis of requirements, and functional architecture analysis. This will offer supply efficiently data and outcomes management for the LRT project and then support the automatical document publish output.

요르단연구로건설사업 문서관리시스템 구축 (Establishment of Document Control System for the Jordan Research and Training Reactor Project)

  • The Project of Jordan Research and Training Reactor (JRTR) officially launched in Aug. 2010. JRTR is the first made-in-Korea nuclear system to be built abroad by year 2015, and Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) is responsible for the design of major systems including the reactor core. While the PDCS (Project Document Control System) being operated by EPC company controls all the documents of the whole Project, KAERI is supposed to have its own system for KAERI documents. Meeting such a need; KAERI has implemented a document control for the JRTR Project into already existing ANSIM (KAERI Advanced Nuclear Safety Information Management) system. The documents of JRTR project to be controlled are defined in the PPM (Project Procedures Manual), QAP (Quality Assurance Procedure) and PEP (Project Execution Program). The ANSIM consists of the document management holder, document container holder and organization management holder. The document management holder, which is the most important part of ANSIM-JRTR, consists of the DDA (Document Distribution for Agreement), IOC (Inter-office Correspondence), PM Memo. (Project Manager Memorandum) and cover sheets of design documents. Other materials such as meeting minutes, sub-department materials and design information materials are stored in an independent COP (Community of Practice). This established computerized document control system, ANSIM, could lessen a burden for project management team and enhance the productivity as well.

ERP 시스템을 이용한 프로젝트 EVMS에 관한 연구 (A Study on Earned Value Management System (EVMS) For Project Using ERP System)

  • It seems that a primary concern of the project-based company, which provides a large scale product or service over long term period, is to run a successful project through systematic project process control and control costs. One of the typical project control methods is Earned Value Management System(EVMS) which analyses the precess through performance measurement. Even though the EVMS is a highly efficient tool in the managerial aspect, it cannot easily determine the Planned Value(PV), Actual Cost(AC), or Earned Value(EV) due to the indistinct criteria and extensive data. The accurate calculation of AC in particular, is the basic of project management, but most companies record direct personnel expenses or direct expenses only. Since they calculate indirect expenses based on the estimated ratio, it limits the systematic project management that reflects changes in profit and loss of a company. This study introduces a EVMS for project management and its actual case based on EVMS and ERP system which some additional modules are installed for performance measurement. It is expected that this new method enables a company to save time and effort, and also to improve transparency by specifying expense items in detail and to switch quarterly settlement to monthly by reducing the time of calculation.

  • c-PMS(collaborative project management system) is a business process(BP) based tool to manage collaborative projects which accomplish common business objectives determined by mutual agreement of companies using limited resources and time. This study analyzes collaborative BP, collaborative projects, and their relation, and proposes the architecture and operation scenario of c-PMS consisted of business process asset management(BPAM) sub-system and project manage(PM) sub-system. BPAM sub-system models private and public BP using a client/server based modeler, defines collaborative BPs process from public BPs, and manages them as companies' asset on a web portal. PM sub-system globally manages collaborative project using planning, execution, monitoring, and analyzing functions.

  • 본 연구는 '지역 개발 및 지원에 관한 법률' 시행에 맞춰 이전보다 강화된 지역개발사업 관리방안을 모색하는데 연구의 목적을 갖고 있다. 이를 위해 그동안 지적되어 온 지역개발사업 관리의식의 부족, 통합관리체계의 부재, 사업관리 정보의 신뢰성 부족 등을 개선하고자 다음과 같은 개선방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 지역개발사업의 관리는 관계법령에 기초한 사업평가관리 체계로 운영할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 지역개발사업의 다양한 정보를 DB화하여 중앙정부 및 지방자치단체에서 활용 가능한 정보시스템을 구축하여야 한다. 셋째, 지역개발사업 관리의 효율성과 전문성을 제고하기 위해 전문위탁 기관 등을 활용한 사업관리 체계마련이 필요하다. 마지막으로 담당 공무원의 전문성 및 책임성을 제고하기 위한 업무환경 개선이 필요하다.

부트스트랩 자료포락분석을 이용한 프로젝트 관리 조직의 효율성 분석 (Efficiency Analysis of Project Management Offices Using Bootstrap DEA)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiencies of project management offices in large information system construction projects using the data envelopment analysis. In addition, we tried to estimate the confidence interval of those efficiencies using bootstrap DEA to give a statistical meaning. The efficiency by the CCR model is analyzed as eight project management offices are fully efficient and 22 project management offices are inefficient. On the other hand, there are 15 project management offices are fully efficient, but 15 project management offices are inefficient in the BCC model. As the result of the scale efficiencies, of the inefficient project management offices, 13 project management offices are inefficient in scale. It is possible to eliminate the inefficiency in the CCR model by improving their project performances. And, the nine project management offices showed that the inefficiency was due to pure technical efficiency, and these companies should look for various improvements such as improvement of project execution system and project management process. In order that the inefficient project management offices be efficient, it is analyzed that more efforts must be made for on-budget and on-time as a result of examining the potential improvement potentials of inefficient project management offices.

  • 현대에 들어 IT 시장은 대형화와 복합화가 진행되고 경쟁이 더 심화되고 있기 때문에 전통적인 사업관리 방식으로는 관리하기 어려운 정보시스템구축 사업이 많아지면서 이를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 제도적 장치와 이를 지원하는 사업관리 프로세스를 도출하기 위하여 실무자(현장PM 및 사업참여자)를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 소프트웨어개발 사업관리 요소기술의 중요도와 취약도를 파악하여 개선해야 할 요소기술이 도출되었고, 이를 활용하여 사업관리의 필요성과 총괄사업관리자의 역할과 핵심 사업관리 분야를 결정하는데 논리적 근거를 제시하는 매우 유의미한 결과를 얻었다.

  • Even though the success of the information system (IS) protect becomes a critical issue to an enterprise and there has been a lot of research about finding critical success factors of IS projects, the scope management for the success of IS protect has received little attention in the literature. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of the project scope management activities defined by PMI (Project Management Institute) on the performance of the information system project. The focus of this paper is on the project supplier's point of view. This study shows the priority of the scope management activities during the IS Project. The results show the different results depending on the types of the project clients and the project scale. This research reveals that the scope verification is important for the project supplier from the project process view, and that the scope planning/definition is important for the protect client from the project result view. It also shows different results comparing to the conventional recognition about project success. The research results show that the positive relationships between the project scale and the importance of scope management activities, and between the familiarity of suppliers and clients and the importance of the scope management activities. Through this research, we expect that the importance of the scope management in a project will be considered as an important issue, and that this research will lead to various detailed research about this issue.
