  • Purpose: This study was done to elicit basic data for effective human resource management by identifying the relationships among job embeddedness, emotional intelligence, social support, and the turnover intention of Nurses. Methods: Research design was to build a hypothetical causal model between variables and to verify its fitness. The sample for this study was 283 nurses with careers of more than 6 months in one hospital of more than 800 beds located in Seoul. They agreed in writing and this study was approved by the Institutional Review Board. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 program. Results: Differences in general characteristics for the variables were significant for age, marital status, education, work experience, job title, income, and department. Job embeddedness, emotional intelligence and social support were significantly correlated to turnover intention. Job embeddedness to emotional intelligence and social support showed positive effects and a negative effect to turnover intention. Emotional intelligence to turnover intention showed a positive effect, but social support was not significant. Conclusion: Organizations should provide ways to minimize voluntary turnover of a competent workforce and demonstrate their competency. Also it should develop training and management programs to effectively utilize emotional intelligence.

In particular, this study focused on the self-esteem, internet pornography addiction, and relationship satisfaction of freshmen as important predictors of sexual behavior and examined the dynamics of the relationships among the variables. The participants in this research were 1,806 university freshmen: 932 males and 828 females. All respondents submitted their answers on a self-report questionnaire. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlations that used PASW 18.0, and AMOS 18.0, a statistical program for structural equation modeling(SEM), to estimate the hypothesized structural equation model. The major results of this study were as follows: (1) Relationship satisfactions mediated the relationships among self-esteem, internet pornography addiction, and sexual behavior. (2) Sexual behavior between male and female freshmen showed different influences on the test of the structural model invariance across the groups.

In addition, mother's neglectful mediation of smart media mediated the influence of the mother's parenting stress on preschooler children's over use of smart media. Conclusion/Implications: These findings emphasize the important role of maternal stress in preschool children's over use of smart media. And maternal competence such as supervision and limit setting is an important role in preschool children's use of smart media, so it is necessary to develop a practical and diverse parenting education program in order to reduce.

  • This study conducted a questionnaire survey on SNS users who are conducting K-POP record collection activities using SNS and verified factors affecting the intention to continue K-POP record collection activities. The main methods of analysis were exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and path analysis using SPSS 21.0 program and AMOS 21.0 program. The results are summarized as follows. First, compatibility for K-POP record collection activities through SNS has a positive effect on perceived usefulness, and observability also has a positive effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Second, perceived ease of use for K-POP records collection using SNS has a positive effect on perceived usefulness. Third, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use for K-POP records collection using SNS have a positive effect on continuous intention of K-POP records collection activity through SNS. As a result of this study, it suggests that the intention to continue the collection activities of K-POP records using SNS can be explained through the integration of innovation diffusion theory and technology acceptance model.

  • This study aims to prove the value of SNS tourism information by confirming the relation between SNS tourism information and perceived risk and by verifying its influence on the intention to switch tourism destination. The data was collected from 302 tourists. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 program and AMOS 18.0 were conducted. First, functional characteristics of SNS tourism information have been verified to have no relationship with the tourist's perception of risk, and therefore the functional tourism information is thought to cause individual motive regardless of tourist's perception of risk. Second, aesthetic value and economic benefits of SNS tourism information have been analyzed to reduce perceived risk of tourists. Third, a symbol of SNS Tourism information has proved to be an element that increases the risk perceived by tourists, indicating that various kinds of tourism information provided by other channels including SNS can serve as a momentum to make tourists recognize new risks the other way round as new tourism information is accumulated, which acts as new motivating factor.
