Distance Learning In Ukraine: Problems And Connection With Modern Computer Technologies

  • The article presents the idea that in the conditions of modernization of higher professional education, there is an obvious contradiction between the practical need of higher education for a scientifically grounded theory and methodology of distance learning for students and the lack of the necessary didactic and content-methodological guidelines for its implementation. In theoretical research and applied development, as a rule, the technocratic approach prevails. The emphasis is on the technical capabilities of modern computers and telecommunications. Productively, from a pedagogical point of view, this contradiction can be resolved on the basis of modeling distance learning management for students, developing and implementing a corporate information educational environment in universities, increasing the effectiveness of the methodology of pedagogical interaction between students and teachers during the implementation of distance learning.

  • The article considers aspects of improving the quality of training of specialists based on the use of modern information and communication technologies in the educational process; the use of teaching methods and, as a result, an increase in the creative and intellectual components of educational activities; integration of various types of educational activities (educational, research, etc.); adaptation of information technology training to individual the characteristics of the student; ensuring continuity and consistency in learning; development of information technologies for distance learning; improving the software and methodological support of educational process.

민간 시큐리티 종사자의 신임 교육에 따른 전이효과 분석 (The analysis of transfer effect through recruit education programs for security personnel)

  • 우리나라 민간 시큐리티 교육과 관련된 연구들은 지금까지 주로 교육현황과 문제점 파악 및 개선에 집중되어 왔으며, 교육 참여에 따른 전이효과에 대해서는 체계적인 분석이 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 현직에 있는 민간 시큐리티 종사자를 대상으로 경비업법 제13조 1항에 의거하여 실시되는 신임 교육이 전이효과에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 탐색적 연구를 실시하였다. 민간 시큐리티 종사자의 신임 교육이 전이효과에 미치는 영향을 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시큐리티 종사자의 사회인구학적 특성에 따라 개인적 특성 교육훈련특성 업무환경, 전이효과의 차이를 검증한 결과 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시큐리티 종사자의 개인적 특성이 전이효과에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 시큐리티 종사자의 교육훈련특성이 전이효과에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 시큐리티 종사자의 업무환경이 전이효과에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 공교육의 STEAM과 S/W 교육은 융합 인재와 4차산업혁명 시대의 인재 양성에 효과적이며 이를 위한 전담교사의 확충과 다양한 학습자료의 발굴 및 적용, 융합인재 교육을 위한 교육환경 개선이 필요하다. 그리고, 개방형 학습 플랫폼은 사교육비 절감과 공교육의 보완에 효과적이다. 특히 교실 수업(오프라인)과 결합된 플립러닝에 유용하며 이럴 경우 교사의 역할이 능동적인 교수활동과 연구 활동으로 전환되어 공교육의 정상화를 앞당기고 사교육을 줄일 수 있다. 특히, 초등교육을 위한 MOOC 플랫폼 운영의 핵심 기능으로 '창의적 교수설계와 콘텐츠 개발 기능', '디지털 교수 학습 큐레이션 기능', '빅데이터 기반 학습자 맞춤화 기능', '학습 참여 촉진 플립러닝 및 소셜러닝 기능'을 제시한다. 본 연구를 통해 초등교육을 포함한 청소년의 진로 및 입시교육 MOOC의 도입에 대한 논의의 장이 마련되고 한국형 청소년 MOOC 플랫폼이 구축되어 교육민주화의 세계적 선진 모델로 발전될 수 있기를 기대한다.

Factors Influencing Life-Long Learning: An Empirical Study of Young People in Vietnam

  • This study, not only investigates the important role of lifelong learning in shaping young people's knowledge and in maximizing their potential, but also aims to shed light on the influencing factors of lifelong learning of young people in Vietnam. The author applied STATA and SPSS to analyze quantitative data collected from questionnaires with 332 respondents aged between 19 years old and 24 years old. Based on a holistic review of literature, this study concludes that four driver factors affect young people's lifelong learning ability, comprising: organizational culture, motivation, human resource development, and domestic private type of enterprise. The results emphasize the positivity of organizational culture, human resource development, and the nature of work, especially organizational culture and human resource development, which are dominant reasons for young people to maintain lifelong learning. The relationship between demographics and lifelong learning was tested and it indicated that male has a stronger interest in learning than female. The result of the study also shows the impact of different types of business sectors on employees' learning intentions. It points out that the domestic private type of enterprise is the most effective factor that has a positive relationship with the lifelong learning of the individual.

  • In the dynamic landscape of modern machine learning, Federated Learning (FL) has emerged as a compelling paradigm designed to enhance privacy by enabling participants to collaboratively train models without sharing their private data. Specifically, Distillation-based Federated Learning, like Federated Learning with Model Distillation (FedMD), Federated Gradient Encryption and Model Sharing (FedGEMS), and Differentially Secure Federated Learning (DS-FL), has arisen as a novel approach aimed at addressing Non-IID data challenges by leveraging Federated Learning. These methods refine the standard FL framework by distilling insights from public dataset predictions, securing data transmissions through gradient encryption, and applying differential privacy to mask individual contributions. Despite these innovations, our survey identifies persistent vulnerabilities, particularly concerning the susceptibility to logit inversion attacks where malicious actors could reconstruct private data from shared public predictions. This exploration reveals that even advanced Distillation-based Federated Learning systems harbor significant privacy risks, challenging the prevailing assumptions about their security and underscoring the need for continued advancements in secure Federated Learning methodologies.

의료기관 학습조직 운영효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness of Learning Organization Managed by Medical Center)

  • This study was designed to suggest a learning organization in a medical center by examining the factors to influence effectiveness of the learning organization. We collected the data of 586 persons who participated once or more times in the learning organization managed from 2000 to 2002 by Y Medical Center located in Seoul, and included the data of 285 persons in the final analysis. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, as the results of examining the regression coefficients to predict the effectiveness of and satisfaction with the learning organization through the learning level, learning method and learning organization constructing level as the general variables, the important influential factors were shown as follows: 1)knowledge creation, knowledge storing, private learning, organizational learning, and learning organization construction of occupational and human levels as the factors to predict the working competency; 2) learning organization construction of the human level as the factors to assume the duty satisfaction; 3) gender, working years, private learning, team learning and organizational construction level for the prediction of the organizational commitment; and 4) medical technical service, knowledge creation, organization learning, and constructing level of the environmental and human levels for the assumption of the satisfaction with experience in the learning organization. Based on the study results of the effects in managing the learning organization, we can conclude the followings. First, the members who are in various working positions and occupations need to continuously participate in the learning organization. Second, to raise the organizational outcome from the management of the learning organization, it is necessary to establish systematic concepts in the constituents of the organizational effectiveness such as working competency improvement, duty satisfaction and organizational commitment, and the experience satisfaction of the learning organization. Finally, the future of the organization depends on the learning competencies of the organization members. To continuously exist and develop the organization, the private learning of the organizational members should be constantly spread and shared over the organizational level, and the usual innovations such as repetitive and habitual organizational learning should be generally tried out throughout the whole field of the management.

  • U-learning stresses the ubiquitous networking environment where different sizes of U-devices, let alone the dominant PCs, comprise a background infrastructure to enhance knowledge and performance. This paper suggests a U-learning system that will provide an alternative for the hectic private lessons, particularly English training among grade-school students. Several points are suggested of the U-system to be a cost-effective alternative. Besides the corresponding advancement of U-networking, the production of a profitable business model harnessing the emerging technology is most urgent. The Government authorities should recognize the potential U-social system solutions, and take an initiative to develop them. The latest technology seems to throw a light to the upcoming social systems applied in various fields of social needs.

  • Federated Learning (FL) is a technique that excels in training a global model using numerous clients while only sharing the parameters of their local models, which were trained on their private training datasets. As a result, clients can obtain a high-performing deep learning (DL) model without having to disclose their private data. This setup is based on the understanding that all clients share the common goal of developing a global model with high accuracy. However, recent studies indicate that the security of gradient sharing may not be as reliable as previously thought. This paper introduces the latest research on various attacks that threaten the privacy of federated learning.

  • 이 연구에서는 사교육 시간과 교과별 학습동기 및 인지·행동전략으로 이루어진 학습전략 사용과의 구조적 관계를 파악하고, 궁극적으로 사교육이 학업성취도를 어떻게 예측하는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 2005년 당시 중학교 1학년을 대상으로 실시된 한국교육종단연구(KELS 2005)의 1-2차년도 자료를 활용하여 구조방정식모형을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 사교육이 학습동기와 학습전략의 사용에 도움을 준다는 증거는 찾을 수 없었으며, 학업성취도 역시 영어와 수학교과에 한해서만 통계적으로 미미한 수준에서 사교육과 정적인 관계를 보였다. 학업성취도 향상에는 사교육보다 오히려 학습동기와 학습전략이 더욱 중요한 역할을 담당하는 것으로 나타났다.
