The number of people over sixty five years old is rising steadily and the residential facilities for elderly people are continuously increasing. For many elderly people, losing their ability to see well means losing independence. Good lighting environment can help elderly people's Independent life. This research has been done with a purpose of suggestion the methodology of lighting design for elderly people. For this purpose, the basic knowledge to develop lighting design guidelines of residential facilities for elderly people are prepared through literature review.

Several epidemiological studies have shown that exercise (EX) and physical activity (PA) can prevent or delay the onset of different mental disorders, and have therapeutic benefits when used as sole or adjunct treatment in mental disorders. This review summarizes studies that used EX interventions in patients with anxiety, affective, eating, and substance use disorders, as well as schizophrenia and dementia/mild cognitive impairment. Despite several decades of clinical evidence with EX interventions, controlled studies are sparse in most disorder groups. Preliminary evidence suggests that PA/EX can induce improvements in physical, subjective and disorder-specific clinical outcomes. Potential mechanisms of action are discussed, as well as implications for psychiatric research and practice.

In a backlash against corporate branding and capitalism, a growing number of consumers are resisting current marketplace practices and big corporate brands. One particular form of this phenomenon is the emergence of anti-brand communities in social media. The current study, which surveyed a sample of 251 anti-brand community members on Facebook, provides a preliminary understanding of the characteristics and antecedents of anti-brand communities as a new platform for consumer empowerment and anti-brand activism. Findings suggest that consumers' engagement in online anti-brand communities, especially through social media, may be triggered by their negative experiences with employees, product quality, post-purchase service, and value/price. They are motivated, the results show, by seven primary factors: altruism, revenge, advice seeking, convenience, sympathy seeking, socialization, and the need to vent.

In this study, to enhance the seismic performance of nuclear power plants (NPP), a small laminated rubber bearing (LRB) is chosen as a seismic design option of the vulnerable equipment. Prior to the application of equipment base isolation, it is necessary to review the feasibility that the technique contributes enough to the seismic performance of NPP by analysis. At first, some preliminary design of small LRBs for equipment is carried out. Design parameters such as horizontal and vertical stiffnesses, design natural frequencies are checked by calculation and analysis for the four design options considering various upper weights. Performance test of small LRB is to be carried out to verify static performance using the results.

With their complex structure that includes a thin disc, spiral arms, and often a bar, galaxies have been regarded as something beyond the human perceptions. Hence, the studies on galaxy formation in the 20th century have almost exclusively based on schematic scenarios. With markedly improved knowledge on cosmology over the last couple of decades, we have finally acquired a base from which galaxy formation can be studied from the first principles of physics. I review the modern history of the study of galaxy formation and present some preliminary results from the most recent numerical simulations that provide more realistic pictures of galaxy formation than was available ever before. In terms of galaxy formation, the age of scenarios is fading away, while the age of physical understanding is rising over the horizon.

In this study, development of 3D software for automated formwork design was conducted to achieve optimization and reduction of labor for temporary work. Through the literature review, the current technical level was identified and the required functions of 3D software for automated formwork design were derived. The 3D software should be developed with the aim of automating 3D design, improving construction quality and utilizing the Internet of Things. As a preliminary step to develop 3D software, the prototype demo version was developed to implement 3D design automation function, which confirm the possibility of 3D software development.

This preliminary study examines historical background of construction, establishment process, and destroy process for the Goryeo-sa-haeng-guan in Myeong-Ju during the Song Dynasty. The research was conducted based on local journals at that time. The Myeong-Ju is one of the famous port cities for marine trade. The Myeong-Ju had a good relationship with the Goryeo. Especially, the Song Dynasty built the Goryo-sa-haeng-guan for Goryeo envoys and traders to maintained a good partnership with Goryeo. A comprehensive review on records and historical issues of the Goryeo-sa-haeng-guan helps us to understand foreign policy and inter-relationship between Korean and China.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to clarify the conceptualizations of mandatory and reward that have come into focus in the definition of digital shadow work. And explore how users in a shared services environment view cost and coercion from the perspective of digital shadow work. Design/methodology/approach We conducted one-on-one interviews with 4 participants, with each interview being an average of 25 minutes. Based on literature review, stakeholder observation, and interviews on digital shadow work so far, very objective results can be derived through triangulation based on the basis of multiple sources. Findings According to the results of the preliminary study, there are some rewards for each type of digital shadow work, but time saving and service convenience are considered more than financial rewards. Unfair demands in determining whether to implement them in consideration of the difficulty and expected benefits of the demanding digital work can cause dissatisfaction with the service. Academic implications and future research directions are also discussed.

In this paper, from a review of the size distribution of the bubbles during pool scrubbing obtained from experiments by EPRI, we apply the bubble size distributions to analyses on the decontamination factors of pool scrubbing via I-COSTA (In-Containment Source Term Analysis). We perform sensitivity studies of the bubble size on the various mechanisms of deposition of aerosol particles in pool scrubbing. We also perform sensitivity studies on the size distributions of the bubbles depending on the diameters at the nozzle exit, the molecular weights of non-condensable gases in the carrier gases, and the steam fractions of the carrier gases. We then perform analyses of LACE-ESPANA experiments and compare the numerical ~ results to those from SPARC-90 and experimental results in order to show the effect of the bubble size distributions.

Voice and speech therapy can be performed in various ways depending on the situation, although it is generally performed in a face-to-face manner. Telepractice refers to the provision of specialized voice and speech therapy by speech-language pathologists for assessment, therapy, and counseling by applying telecommunication technology from a remote location. Recently, due to the pandemic situation and the active use of non-face-to-face platforms, interest in telepractice of voice and speech therapy has increased. Moreover, a growing body of literature has been advocating its clinical usefulness and non-inferiority to traditional face-to-face intervention. In this review, the existing discussions, guidelines, and preliminary studies on non-face-toface voice and speech therapy were summarized, and recommendations on the tools for telepractice were provided.
