지식경영을 위한 지식근로자 유형 분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Classification of Knowledge Worker Style for Knowledge Management)

  • The aim of this study is classify knowledge work style management for knowledge management. It is based on the knowledge creation model of Nonaka by subdividing types of knowledge workers. It was designed to create a model for application to the actual environment of management. Nonaka suggested the process of socialization, externalization, combination, internalization that the knowledge of a person creates new knowledge through the interaction of implicit knowledge and explicit knowledge. This research demonstrated that knowledge worker of 16 forms by applying SECI model to the main function and the subordinate functions again. This study aims at achieving a higher outcome by applying the ability of existing knowledge worker to subdivided expert field efficiently. Suggested styles of knowledge worker in this research are classified into craftsman style, pragmatic style, combination style, developed style knowledge worker who creates knowledge by selecting socialization as the function and again by selecting externalization combination, internalization as subordinate functions. And they were classified into creation style, insight style, strategy style according to practical application worker and function which is selecting externalization as the main function and socialization as the subordinate functions. They were classified into future style, innovation style, analysis style, judgement style knowledge worker who are selecting combination as the main function and experiment style, intuition style, research style, learning style worker who are selecting internalization as the main function. They suggested the characteristics and cases of each type.

고객센터 지식관리시스템 재구축 성공과 활용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 탐색적 연구: K 보험사 사례를 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study on the Factors Affecting the Success and Utilization of Reestablished Knowledge Management Systems in a Customer Center: Case of K Life Insurance)

  • Knowledge, as a source of firm's competitive edges, has been drawing attention, while numerous enterprises are investing huge amount of assets to foster the right environments for executing knowledge management (KM). As a practical way of such KM, knowledge management systems (KMS) support the creation, diffusion, and utilization of knowledge, which are the tools for practicing such management style. Recently, the customer centers which make the closest contact with the customers are being concerned about the establishment of KMS. Considering the characteristics of real-time problem solving in customer centers during the consultation with the customers, the importance of KMS is paramount to the centers. This study analyzes major factors influencing the success and utilization of the customer center KMS's reestablishment, as an exploratory case study of the reestablishment of KMS in the customer center of K insurance company. First, the characteristic differences between the customer center's KMS and the traditional KMS are discussed, and the triangulation technique is applied to secure objectivity of this case study's findings. Major results of the case study state that, for the success of KMS and improvement of utilization, the followings should be considered preferentially: excellent system quality (accessibility, user convenience, easy searching, speed/menus); high information quality (accuracy, usefulness, timeliness, task-relevance, diversity, degree of specification); appropriate operation strategy and process for the utilization of system (education, training opportunity, appropriate personnel, speed and procedure of approval, compensation/evaluation); and change management via the support from the CEO's level (concern and participation of CEO, will to propel the project, investment, advertisement, etc.). This study provides practical suggestions with respect to factors which should be more carefully dealt with, since still many customer centers have hard time establishing and operating KMS due to lack of previous studies.

MNC Subsidiary's Entrepreneurship and Knowledge Transfer: Evidence from MNC Subsidiaries in South Korea

  • Purpose - This paper attempted to verify the process by which a multinational corporation (MNC)'s subsidiary practices entrepreneurship to create effective knowledge (KC) in the local market. We have looked at whether subsidiary entrepreneurship (SENT) has a moderation effect in creating knowledge for the local market when a subsidiary has been given autonomy (AUT) from the headquarters (HQ). We also argue that when a subsidiary creates meaningful knowledge, the effect of the increased status by the HQ within the MNC network position (NP) has an indirect effect on whether knowledge is transferred to other overseas subsidiaries (KTO). Design/methodology - This paper used a structural equation model (SEM) of 282 effective foreign companies invested in Korea. To test the hypothesis about the process of SENT on KTO, descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability, convergent and discriminant validities, and common method bias were analyzed using STATA. In addition, the moderation effect was verified along with SEM. The moderation effect of AUT on SENT and KC was presented graphically by confirming \mathrm{\pm1} standard deviation of AUT for the main effect. Findings - Our findings are as follows. First, while the hypothesis about the direct effect of SENT and KC on KTO was not supported, all other hypotheses were supported. Second, both the AUT and moderating effect and the indirect effect of NP were significant. In the conclusion, these findings are discussed in relation to its various theoretical and practical implications. Originality/value - This study attempted to contribute to the knowledge creation theory of MNC by contemplating how subsidiaries can move away from HQ and grow in the local market. Although there is still a shortage of foreign investment in the Korean market, our practical implications offer guidance for how current subsidiaries can develop more than other overseas subsidiaries.

생물 예비교사들의 진화 이론의 실용성에 관한 인식 (Pre-service Biology Teachers' Understanding of the Real-World Application of Evolutionary Theory)

  • 과학교육과정에서 과학 지식의 실용성에 관한 인식을 점차 강조해 왔다. 진화 이론 역시 현대 과학에서는 실용적으로 활용되고 있음에도 불구하고 그에 대한 학생들의 인식은 낮을 것으로 예상된다. 이 연구는 진화 이론의 실용성에 관한 인식과 관련된 변인을 탐색하는 것을 목표로 한다. 방법론적으로 전공, 학년, 종교의 3가지 독립변수와 실용성에 관한 인식, 진화 지식, 진화 관심, 진화 수용, 종교성의 5가지 종속변수를 설문조사 하였다. 총 233명의 생물 예비교사와 405명의 비생물 과학예비교사가 이 연구에 참여하였다. 연구 결과, 비생물 교사 양성 프로그램과 비교하였을 때 생물 교사양성 프로그램은 진화 지식과 관심을 향상시키는데 기여했을 뿐 진화 이론의 실용적 가치에 대한 인식을 향상시키지 못하였다. 진화 이론의 실용적 인식은 개인의 종교 변수, 진화 관심과 수용과 밀접한 관련성을 보였다. 이 연구를 토대로 진화 이론의 실용적 가치를 향상시키는 프로그램의 개발과 다른 과학 개념들의 실용성 인식 변인 조사를 제언한다.

지식경영 전략 및 구조적 자본이 조직성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Knowledge Management Strategy and Structural Capital on Organizational Performance)

  • This study examined the effects of knowledge management strategy and structural capital on organizational performance. Structured capital was classified into three dimensions: organizational culture, knowledge process, and information technology. Data were collected from 251 employees in a public institution. Results indicated that organizational knowledge-based strategy was positively related to employees' job satisfaction, and that information technology-based strategy was positively related to customers' satisfaction and institutional image. Results also indicated that organizational culture and knowledge process were positively related to customers' satisfaction, employees' job satisfaction, and institutional image, whereas informational technology was negatively related to customers' satisfaction and institutional image. Finally, the theoretical and practical implications of the results were discussed.

  • The demands for knowledge in the rapid social change and the competitive environment are being increased day by day. As to reflect the demands, much scholarly and practical work has been done on the topics of Knowledge Management (KM). However, the study of KM in nonprofit organizations (NPOs) is insufficient. This study, while discussing the nature of NPOs, which have the different purposes of existence and characteristics from for-profit organizations, has the purpose of finding out the special strategy for KM in NPOs. Through understanding the characteristics and the status of NPOs, this study suggests that that the interorganizational KM is the method to lead successful KM in NPOs. And the critical success factors (CSFs) are presented in the three major factors, such as the systematical, the interorganizational and internal consideration factor for organization. This not only provides the successful KM strategy of NPOs but also enlarges the understandings about interorganizational KM.

  • The management of enterprise knowledge has been increasingly important because knowledge emerges as the new basis of competition in postcapitalist society. One of the key issues in knowledge management is to put knowledge into a repository where it can be easily stored, reused, and recreated. This paper proposes a model repository and the corresponding knowledge management framework. The emphases of model repository is on abstraction knowledge in the form of schematic models. Two major benefits are model independence and model integration. A metaschema is constructed according to six conceptual components: separate unit, external link, internal link, separate unite descriptor, link descriptor, and composite descriptor, which can be applied for a variety of models. A prototype system with a case illustrates the practical usefulness of model repository for knowledge management

  • This study addresses the following questions : how does organization citizenship behavior(OCB) affect knowledge contribution in online communities? does the antecedents of OCB, cohesiveness and affection similarity, influence knowledge contribution in online communities? In order to test our hypotheses with an empirical study, we have conducted a survey which resulted in 192 valid response in the final sample. The PLS analysis results indicate that OCB affects knowledge contribution and coherence and affection similarity of online community users have influence on OCB. Further, knowledge contribution is influenced by community users' affection similarity. Practical implications of these findings and future research implications are also discussed.

가정교과교육학 지식(H-PCK)에 관한 가정과교사의 반성적 성찰 (Home Economics Teachers' Reflection on Pedagogical Content Knowledge in Home Economics Education(H-PCK))

  • 본 연구는 가정과교사들이 가정교과교육학 지식을 어떻게 형성하고, 반성적으로 성찰하면서 발달시켜 나가는지 살펴봄으로써 가정과교사의 전문성 향상 방안을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 중 고등학교에 근무하는 10년 이상 경력의 가정과교사 6명을 대상으로 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 CAQDAS 중의 하나인 NVivo로 귀납적 접근방식을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 및 결론을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 가정교과관 지식의 경우, 연구참여자들은 가정교과 목표를 실천적 문제를 해결하여 실생활에서 문제 해결능력을 배양하고 고등사고능력을 기르는 것이라고 하였으며 가정교과에 대한 전근대적인 고정관념을 벗어나고 학력위주의 사회분위기 속에서 비주요교과라는 지위를 오히려 긍정적으로 활용하여 가정과교사가 실천비판교과인 가정교과의 사명을 수하기 위해 애쓰고 있었다. 가정과교육과정 지식은 국가교육과정부터 학교교육과정까지 수준이 다른 교육과정에 대한 이해와 고민에 대한 것이며 가정과교사들은 국가교육과정에 대하여 수업시수 결정이나 교과서를 통해 구현되는 내용영역을 좌우하는 정도로 인식하였고, 조금 더 철학을 가지고 국가교육과정이 만들어지길 기대하고 있었다. 학교교육과정의 경우, 연구참여자 모두 교육과정을 재구성하고 있었고, 재구성하는 데 있어서 학생들이 배워야 하는 교육내용을 사회적 이슈를 반영하면서 반성과 고민을 통해 결정하고 있었다. 실천적 문제 중심 수업전략에 관한 지식의 경우, 연구참여자들은 실천적 문제 중심 수업을 가정과교사 자신의 것으로 만들기 위해서 노력하고 있었으며 학생들이 이 수업을 임할 때 어려움 등을 언급하였다. 마지막으로 상황 지식의 경우, 가정과교사들은 교사양성기관을 거쳐 교단에 들어설 때 이론과 현실이라는 크나큰 격차를 경험하고 혼자서 수업준비를 하면서 가정과교사들과의 네트워크를 갈망하고, 결국 교사모임이나 교과교육연구회를 통해 교사들끼리 만나면서 가정교과교육학 지식을 공유하고 현장에서 실행함으로써 노력해 나가는 모습을 볼 수 있었다. 이상과 같은 연구를 바탕으로, 교사양성 교육과 현직 교사교육, 그리고 학교현장에 던져 주는 시사점을 알아보고, 그 관련성을 보다 구체적으로 파악하기 위해 앞으로 어떤 연구주제나 방법이 이루어져야 하는지 가정교과교육학 지식 연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.
