NTRU cryptosystem has been suggested for protecting wireless body area networks, which is secure in the sense of traditional cryptanalysis. In this paper, we fulfill the first power analysis attack on the ultra-low-power environment of wireless body area networks. Specifically, two practical differential power analyses on NTRU algorithm are proposed, which can attack the existing countermeasures of NTRU. Accordingly, we suggest three countermeasures against our attacks. Meanwhile, practical experiments show that although the attacks in this paper are efficient, our countermeasures can resist them effectively.
This paper introduces some useful Java technologies for utilizing the Internet in numerical analysis, and suggests one architecture performing efficient numerical analysis in the Intranet by using them. The present work has verified it's possibility by implementing some parts of this architecture with two easy examples. One is based on Servlet-Applet communication, JDBC and Swing. The other is adding multi-threads, file transfer and Java Remote Method Invocation to the former. Through this work it has been intended to make the base for the later advanced and practical research that will include efficiency estimates of this architecture and deal with advanced load balancing.

Surface modification of clay minerals has become increasingly important for improving the practical applications of clays such as polymeric nanocomposites. We used the copolymer as modifiers having phenyl components, and successfully developed a route for the preparation of amine functionalized polymer based on oligostyrene and its block copolymers. The oligo(St-co-VBC)s with controlled molecular weight were synthesized via nitroxide mediated polymerization method. We also successfully prepared organophilic layered silicates whose surface is covered with styrenic copolymers. Through the analysis of chemical structure and morphology, we concluded that copolymers were very effective organic modifiers to change the surface characteristics of layered silicates.
Recently, the next-generation advanced flow visualization techniques such as holographic PIV, dynamic PIV, echo-PIV, micro/nano-PIV, and X-ray PIV have been introduced. These advanced measurement techniques have a big potential as the core technology for analyzing outmost thermo-fluid flows in future. These would be indispensable in solving complicated thermo-fluid flow problems not only in the industrial fields such as automotive, space, electronics, aero- and hydro-dynamics, steel, and information engineering, but also in the research fields of medical science, bio-medical engineering, environmental and energy engineering etc. Especially, NT (Nano Technology) and BT (Bio Technology) strongly demand these advanced measurement techniques, because it is impossible for conventional measurement methods to observe most complicated nano- and bio-fluidic phenomena. In this presentation, the basic principle of these high-tech flow visualization techniques and their practical applications which cannot be resolved by conventional methods, such as blood flows in a micro-tube, in vivo analysis of micro-circulation, and flow around a living body will be introduced as a blue ocean strategy.

Purpose - This paper empirically studies the effects of advanced design innovation strategy on business performance, to investigate manufacturing industries that can develop design-driven-innovation strategies. Many researchers now recognize the importance of design in a CEO's decision-making process. To analyze these effects, this study deduces the definition of advanced design strategy by reviewing existing studies. The advanced design is a strategy that is applied to improve business performance instead of the appearance of a product for increasing its sales. In terms of business processes, the advanced design strategy is defined as the incorporation of business activities prior to the development of the product, to offer new experiences and values to users, from those designs. Research design/data/methodology - This paper establishes a model for empirical analysis. In this study, we derived factors of the characteristics of advanced design based on previous studies. We tried to investigate whether advanced design innovation strategy and entrepreneur's characteristics could have any impact on business performance. At the same time, we tried to find out the moderating effect of entrepreneurs' characteristics. The advanced design is made up of three elements: precedence, integration, and immersion of design activities. These three elements are independent variables for the model. The dependent variables are: increased rate of sales, R & D performance, and public image of the company. Specifically, this study establishes a CEO's characteristics as a moderating variable between the independent and dependent variables. Results - We proved that the level of entrepreneurs' characteristics has a moderating effect on the business performance. The findings of this study offer the following theoretical implications. The precedence of design activities positively affects the increased rate of sales by offering new experiences to users and creating new values. The integration of design activities also has a positive effect on the R&D performance. In addition, the immersion of design activities positively influences all the elements comprising business performance. The analysis of moderating variables elucidates that CEO's characteristics have a moderating role between precedence, integration, and immersion of design activities, and business performance. Conclusions - The practical implications of the study are as follows. This study contributes to the progression of advance design theories by conducting an empirical study on the advanced design concept. More importantly, the empirical study on the CEO group seeking exploratory innovation supports Verganti's "design-driven innovation" concept, according to which design can make innovation successful by offering useful values to users, as evident in the case of many innovative companies, such as Nintendo and Apple. Future studies need to investigate the reliability of practical examples, including the various activities of business. We suppose that there may be real differences between the results of this study and the applicative situation in the presence of a CEO group.
This study focuses on the analysis of the results of computational fluid dynamics simulations of mist-chemical vapor deposition for the growth of an epitaxial wafer in power semiconductor technology using artificial intelligence techniques. The conventional approach of predicting the uniformity of the deposited layer using computational fluid dynamics and design of experimental takes considerable time. To overcome this, artificial intelligence method, which is widely used for optimization, automation, and prediction in various fields, was utilized to analyze the computational fluid dynamics simulation results. The computational fluid dynamics simulation results were analyzed using a supervised deep neural network model for regression analysis. The predicted results were evaluated quantitatively using Euclidean distance calculations. And the Bayesian optimization was used to derive the optimal condition, which results obtained through deep neural network training showed a discrepancy of approximately 4% when compared to the results obtained through computational fluid dynamics analysis. resulted in an increase of 146.2% compared to the previous computational fluid dynamics simulation results. These results are expected to have practical applications in various fields.
This paper examines the effects on safety index analysis with Level II Second-Moment Method. The general two variable problem is examined by means of Cornell safety index ${\beta}c$ Rosenblueth-Esteva safety index ${\beta}_{RE}$ Rackwitz-Fiessler safety index by iterative method and Practical FOSM safety index ${\beta}_p$, which based partly on the concepts given by Paloheimo and Hannus, proposed the algorithm in this paper. The calculated examples have shown that safety index by Practical FOSM Method proposed in this paper would be similar to those in the method by Rosenblueth-Esteva or Rackwitz-Fissler and be simpler in calculation than the Rackwitz's Advanced FOSM Method, in which the iterative procedure has to be used.
Three-dimensional and unsteady flow analysis is a practical target of high performance computation. As recently advances of computers, a numerical prediction by the large eddy simulation (LES) are introduced and evaluated for various engineering problems. Its advanced methods for the complex turbulent flows are discussed by several examples applied for aerodynamic designs, analysis of fluid flow mechanisms and their interaction to complex phenomena. These results of time-dependent and three-dimensional phenomena are visualized by interactive graphics and animations.

The experimental and simulation study of insulator failure by cement growth on suspended insulators (16,500kgf) for transmission line was discussed. To get more practical and analytic calculation results, the advanced program was used. This analysis tool was possible to calculate stress behaviors with mechanical loading when cement displacement happened. From simulation results, the. cement displacement changed with linear according to temperature. The shear stress was about $7 kgf/mm^2$ at $0.07\%$ displacement provided from $200^{\circ}C$, then it could be seen that the cement would be fractured even if $0.07\%$ displacement acted, because the cement had about $7-9 kgf/mm^2$ flexure strength. The curve patterns of shear stress with the increase of mechanical loading were changed at $0.02\%$ as a turning point, when the cement displacement was over $0.02\%$ the shear stresses decreased reversely with the increase of mechanical loading. From analysis on porcelain body it was known that there were enough margin to protect the fracture of porcelain body before the cement
