  • Many cameras are used in real life, and they are often used for monitoring and crime prevention to check the situation of problems beyond just taking pictures for memories. Such surveillance and prevention are generally used only for simple storage, and in systems utilizing multiple cameras, utilizing additional features would require additional hardware specifications. In this paper, we add image input methods and post-object processing processes to process multiple image inputs from one hardware or server that perform object detection systems that deviate from typical image processing. The performance of the method is utilized in both learning and reasoning of the hardware performing deep learning, and allows improved image processing processes to be performed.

  • 3D printing technology enables the production of creative and personalized food products that meet consumer needs, such as an attractive visual appearance, fortification of specific nutrients, and modified textures. To popularize and diversify 3D-printed foods, an evaluation of the printing feasibility of various food pastes, including materials that cannot be printed natively, is necessary. Most animal resources, such as meat, milk, and eggs, are not inherently printable; therefore, the rheological properties governing printability should be improved through pre-/post-processing or adding appropriate additives. This review provides the latest progress in extrusion-based 3D printing of animal resource-based inks. In addition, this review discusses the effects of ink composition, printing conditions, and post-processing on the printing performance and characteristics of printed constructs. Further research is required to enhance the sensory quality and nutritional and textural properties of animal resource-based printed foods.

  • This document is the third part of the guidelines for the interpretation and post-processing of cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) studies. These consensus recommendations have been developed by a Consensus Committee of the Korean Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (KOSCI) to standardize the requirements for image interpretation and post-processing of CMR. This third part of the recommendations describes tissue characterization modules, including perfusion, late gadolinium enhancement, and T1- and T2 mapping. Additionally, this document provides guidance for visual and quantitative assessment, consisting of "What-to-See," "How-To," and common pitfalls for the analysis of each module. The Consensus Committee hopes that this document will contribute to the standardization of image interpretation and post-processing of CMR studies.

  • In this paper, we present a spatially adaptive post-processing algorithm for H.264 video coding standard to remove blocking artifacts. The loop filter of H.264 increases computational complexity of the encoder. Furthermore it doesn't clearly remove the blocking artifacts, resulting in over-blurring. For overcoming them, we combine the projection method with the Constraint Least Squares(CLS) method to restore the high quality image. To reflect the Human Visual System, we adopt the weight norm CLS method. Particularly pixel location-based local variance and laplacian operator are newly defined for the CLS method. In addition, the fact that correlation among adjoining pixels is high is utilized to constrain the solution space when the projection method is applied. Quantization Index(QP) of H.264 is also used to control the degree of smoothness. The simulation results show that the proposed post-processing filter works better than the loop filter of H.264 and converges more quickly than the CLS method.

  • For monitoring the flight trajectory and the status of a launch vehicle, the mission control system in NARO space center process data acquired from the ground tracking system, which consists of two tracking radars, four telemetry stations, and one electro-optical tracking system. Each tracking unit exhibits its own tracking error mainly due to multi-path, clutter and radio refraction, and by utilizing only one among transmitted informations, it is not possible to determine the actual vehicle trajectory. This paper presents a way of generating flight trajectory via post-processing the data received from the ground tracking system. The post-processing algorithm is divided into two parts: compensation for atmosphere radio refraction and multi-sensor fusion, for which a decentralized Kalman filter was adopted and implemented based on constant acceleration model. Applications of the present scheme to real data resulted in the flight trajectory where the tracking errors were minimized than done by any one sensor.

  • This paper derives Isogeometric analysis and post-processing method of surface that are generated by NURBS basis function for accurate geometric modeling and structure analysis of free-form. By deforming these parameters that are consisted of control points, knots, polynomial, variable geometric models are derived. The basis function that is used to Isogeometric analysis is same to the basis function of NURBS that is used to generate geometric models. For performing isogeometric analysis, h-p-k refinement is performed without changing of original geometry. To visualize the results of isogeometric analysis that control points' displacements, post-processing method that is the interface method between IGES format and Rhinoceros is derived.

  • In this paper, we analyze the security and performance of the Quantis Quantum random number generator in terms of cryptography through experiments. The Quantis' post-processing is designed to output full-entropy via bit-matrix-vector multiplication based on mathematical background, and we used the min-entropy estimating test of NIST SP 800-90B so as to verify whether the output is full-entropy. Quantis minimizes the effect on the random bit rate by using an optimization technique for bit-matrix-vector multiplication, and compared the performance to conditioning functions of NIST SP 800-90B by measuring the random bit rate. Also, we have distinguished what is in Quantis' post-processing to the standard model of NIST in USA and BSI in Germany, and in case of applying Quantis to cryptographic systems in accordance with the CMVP standard, it is recommended to use the output of Quantis as the seed of the approved DRBG.

  • Magnetic resonance neurography (MRN) has been increasingly used in recent years for the assessment of peripheral neuropathies. Fat suppression T2-weighted imaging (T2WI) and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) have typically been used to provide high contrast MRN. Isotropic 3-dimensional (3D) sequences with fast spin echo, post-processing imaging techniques, and fast imaging methods, among others, allow good visualization of peripheral nerves that have a small diameter, complex anatomy, and oblique course within a reasonable scan time. However, there are still several issues when performing high contrast and high resolution MRN including standard sequence; fat saturation techniques; balance between resolution, field of view, and slice thickness; post-processing techniques; 2D vs. 3D image acquisition; different T2 contrasts between proximal and distal nerves; high T2 signal intensity of adjacent veins or joint fluid; geometric distortion; and appropriate p-values on DWI. The proper understanding of these issues will help novice radiologists evaluate peripheral neuropathies using MRN.

  • The cellular neural networks have shown a vast computing power for the image processing in spite of the simplicity of its structure. However, it is impossible to implement the CNN hardware which would require the same enormous amount of cells as that of the pixels involved in the practical large image. In this parer, the $5\times5$ CNN hardware and the pre post processor which can be used for processing the real large image with a time-multiplexing scheme are implemented. The implemented $5\times5$ CNN hardware and pre post processor is applied to the edge detection of $256\times256$ lena image to evaluate the performance. The total number of block. By the time-multiplexing process is about 4,000 blocks and to control pulses are needed to perform the pipelined operation or the each block. By the experimental resorts, the implemented $5\times5$ CNN hardware and pre post processor can be used to the real large image processing.

  • Composition is a creative activity of a composer in order to express his or her emotion into melody based on their experience. However, it is very hard to implement an automatic composition program whose composition process is the same as the composer. On the basis that the creative activity is possible from the imitation we propose a method to implement an automatic composition system using the learning capability of ANN(Artificial Neural Networks). First, we devise a method to convert a melody into time series that ANN can train and then another method to learn the repeated melody with melody bar for correct training of ANN. After training of the time series to ANN, we feed a new time series into the ANN, then the ANN produces a full new time series which is converted a new melody. But post processing is necessary because the produced melody does not fit to the tempo and harmony of music theory. In this paper, we applied a tempo post processing using tempo post processing program, but the harmony post processing is done by human because it is difficult to implement. We will realize the harmony post processing program as a further work.
