The repeater for wireless broadband internet (Wibro) system using OFDM demands the short processing delay to eliminate inter-symbol interference resulted from the time delay greater than the guard time. Towards this, the total system delay of repeater is expected to be minimized as possible as it can without distorting signal quality. In general, the FIR-type of filter is commonly deployed as a channelization filter, but due to its large amount of coefficients for producing prerequisite filter response the excessive large time delay occurs. To withstand this problem, the paper proposes the method for designing IIR filter whose response almost identical to that of the original filter. Moreover, in order to linearize the phase response of the designed IIR filter, this paper also introduce the way of designing the all-pass filter to be cascaded works for linearizing phase response of the channelization as well as the de-channelization filter. To achieve the further improvement in linearization of the phase response and reduction of the overall complexity, this paper tries to transform the integrated IIR filter group into the structure in polyphase style. The computer simulation verifies that the integrated IIR filter group designed in this paper reveals the relatively short processing delay without harming the acceptible signal quality.
The purpose of this study was to investigate food habits of boy students and to know the difference in food habits between boy and girl students. A previous study had been conducted to girl students in 1998 and this study was carried to boy students in Oct. 2000 using the questionnaires. The subjects were 783 boy students in middle school, high school and university students living in Jeonbuk region. The average score of food habits was $4.09{\pm}1.72$ out of a possible 10(middle school students were $4.96{\pm}1.85$, high school students were $4.17{\pm}1.61$ and university students were $3.15{\pm}1.70$). The average is similar $4.11{\pm}1.63$ to girl students in 1998. The correlation coefficient between the score of food habits and standard of living, present residence, taking nutritional supplements, and sort of school was positive. As a staple food, cooked rice was preferred 95.9% of subjects and this result is similar to girl students of previous study. The most preferred side-dishes was different between girl and boy students. Boy students liked stew the best, but girl students liked Kimchi the best. The most preferred snacks was fruits and fruit juice. The portion of eating cooked rice in boy students (87.8%) was decreased than girl students(90.6%) at breakfast. The main meal to have soup & stew was supper and the most delicious meal was also supper, but primary meal skipped was breakfast. The reasons for skipping breakfast were lack of time(38.7%) and no appetite(17.6%), skipping lunch was missing a time to eat(8.4%), and skipping supper was no appetite(10.5%). Substitution food on no preparation of lunch basket was difference between middle and high school students and university students. Middle and high school students ate noodles and university student ate cooked rice. The preference of snack was that chicken(20.3%) was the best. The time of eating snacks was that anytime(38.6%) was the first, after supper(13.7%) was next. In order to improve the nutritional status of boy students, they must establish good food habits by eating three regular meals per day and balancing their diet. Especially university student must build their regular life style, so they would have three regular meals.

This study was conducted to develop a high-acidity vinegar production (over TA 10%) technology using grape juice to reduce the importation of high-acidity vinegar. The manufacturing condition's effect on the quality of high-acidity vinegar using pure grape juice without the addition of other nutrients for fermentation was investigated. Twelve percent acidity in vinegar was obtained from grape wine with 6% alcohol content. The acetic-acid yield from grape wine decreased when the wine's initial alcohol content was high, which extended the induction time. The pH value was similar in all the treatment groups. The sugar content of the 1st-stage fermentation (1st AAF) was proportional to the initial alcohol content whereas in the 2nd-stage fermentation (2nd AAF), the sugar content was highest in the 6%-alcohol treatment. The major organic acids of the high-acidity grape vinegar included tartaric acid, malic acid, and citric acid. The acid content of the high-acidity initial alcohol group was higher than that of the low-acidity initial alcohol group due to the alcohol content added by the fed-batch and acetic-acid yield difference. The ethyl alcohol content was 364~6,091 ppm (the main alcohol while the others had only traces in all the groups). In conclusion, it was possible to manufacture 12% high-acidity vinegar without the addition of an external nutrient source to grape wine containing 6% initial alcohol content. Finally, a complementary study will be required to shorten the fermentation period through the fed-batch-style addition of alcohol for the purpose of industrialization.
This paper describes an EEG(electroencephalogram) software for two-channel cerebral function monitoring system to detect the cerebral ischemia. In the software, two-channel bipolar analog EEG signals are digitized and from the signals various EEG parameters are extracted and displayed on a monitor in real-time. Digitized EEG signal is transformed by FFT(Fast Fourier transform) and represented as CSA(compressed spectral array) and DSA(density spectral array). Additional 5 parameters, such as alpha ratio, percent delta, spectral edge frequency, total power, and difference in total power, are estimated using the FFT spectra. All of these are effectively merged in a monitor and displayed in real-time. Through animal experiments and clinical trials on men, the software is modified and enhanced. Since the software provides raw EEG, CSA, DSA, simultaneously with additional 5 parameters in a monitor, it is possible to observe patients multilaterally. For easy comparison of patient's status, reference patterns of CSA, DSA can be captured and displayed on top of the monitor. And user can mark events of surgical operation and patient's conditions on the software, this allow him jump to the points of events directly, when reviewing the recorded EEG file afterwards. Other functions, such as forward/backward jump, gain control, file management are equipped and these are operated by simple mouse click. Clinical tests in a university hospital show that the software responds accurately according to the conditions of patients and medical doctors can use the software easily.
Recently there have been various research activities regarding Korean traditional aesthetics. However, those researches were mainly conducted individually, partially, and periodically, which resulted in unsystematic and incomprehensive works. Therefore, it is required to orginze all the precedent research works with more systematic and objective framework. Generally speaking, all the human activities including aesthetic activity have ends, procedure and means. In other words, human being needs three key elements for realizing any thought and those three elements include contents, formal, and practical element. Element of contents is ultimate goal to accomplish as value, concept, and meaning of thought with their aims. Formal element includes methods, principles, norms, procedure, formality and style comprising of thought in order to accomplish the goal. Finally, practical element refers to specific means, tool, media, material and techniques to concretize the contents through form. Almost all of thoughts and meaning which human being tries to express consist of language. Major elements in sentence include 'subject (omissible)' , 'objects (aim)', 'predicate (formality)', 'complement (means)' and they are composed systematically and hierarchically with rules in sentence. The study compared human activity model with language structure and analyzed their implication with design (aesthetics), which made it possible to propose analytic frameworks for traditional aesthetics. In addition, the study also systematically organized the way to realize traditional aesthetic value in the present context based on the methods developed in this study.
Large sized buildings have proliferated in the modern world in order to solve problems caused by the growth of cities, and this trend has lead to diversity in style and utilization of interiors. In particular, wayfinding within the shopping mall for a customer is a common problem, so if customers do not have to face these navigational problems and could find the way more easily, then shopping mall or the store can expect much better profits. Therefore, directional sign system that can provide accurate and speedy information for customers with diversified ages, gender and knowledge is necessary. Firstly, the definition and element of all directional sign are analyzed through the existing literature survey. The elements are based on the practical elements and six categories such as type, pictogram, color, layout, form, and location were considered. Secondly, directional signs in large underground shopping mall was considered, and the speciality of the underground shopping mall was investigated, and finally top three underground shopping malls was analyzed. Thirdly, through the questionnaire, an objective appraisal of directional signs and problems was developed, and following possible improvement was suggested. This study has its own limitations since it is only applicable to the specific locations, however, directional designs will be useful in other types of buildings as well. Through the continuous studies of the users' psychology, these kinds of studies will be related to the environmental characteristics of various places.
In the component assembly and composition technique of software architecture, It is operated that the existing composition techniques based on architecture, ACME, Wright etc., used in FIFO with the direct connection structure between components through connector's Role. But, when the non-synchronizing request of components that have different characteristics occurs, the FIFO techniques is applied to the connector is difficult to process and operate effectively because of the high performance component waiting the sequence order if the low performance component is allocated first. Thus, the allocated request process according to the priority considering the characteristics of each call components in connector is necessary to improve the operation of assembled component. In this research, we extend the connector part that is available in multiplex connection structure based on existent Wright specification. For service process requested from component, the connector part is designed and implemented to operating with priority sequence through calculating the weight of CPU use rate, bean requesting process time and memory use rate among the efficiency elements of assembled components. To verify the efficiency if this designed connector, we implemented 20 samples EJB components that have different efficiency characteristics and applied these samples components to designed connector. The operating results with this designed connector show that the efficient operation of whole system is possible though the processing time takes 481ms more than the time of the existing FIFO techniques.
This paper aims to point out that the contemporary textbook is a common cognitive construct, and that the realistic drawings in the textbooks have played an important role in shaping the world recognition. The main subjects of this study are the racial-ethnic illustrations of elementary school geography textbooks, published by the Japanese Ministry of Education, the Japanese Government-General of Taiwan and Korea, the educational association of Manchu. By comparing the same factors in various textbooks, it examines how the temporal and spatial recognition of the world is adjusted by visual representation. The main findings of this study are three fold. First, the world was introduced to the extent of the sum that the census and the classifications of racial and ethnic groups were adopted. And the world appeared later in the year supported by the racial and ethnic minorities. Second, the expressive style of racial and ethnic groups changed from an emphasis on a heterogeneous part as an object of scientific observation in the early stage to a later one with a life culture similar to the reader. Third, racial ethnic illustrations have been used differently depending on the publishing region in the Empire, giving readers in different regions with different images of the same category. In many cases, it was possible to know the politics of representation and the use of certain racial ethnic illustrations. The textbooks of the first half of the 20th century gave great recognition to the people who could not meet with the readers by using the illustrations. A child in the mainland is aware of his position in a "viewing position" while viewing various empire people through the textbook. On the other hand, in the textbooks of the colonial children, they stood in the position of 'being seen', and showed a change in internalizing the position of the mainland along with the expansion of the empire.
In order to succeed to the 'Traditional Play Series 1~9' by Prof. Sa Jinsil, this article sought the contact points between the traditional drama and the elementary drama education that Prof. Sa Jinsil held. The educational perspective of the prof. Sa Jinsil is reflected specifically in the seventh and eighth volumes. However, these educational perspectives are similar to those presented in the 2015 revised curriculum. It is also similar to the cultivation of humanities through theater education. In other words, the similarity is confirmed in that the target is creativity-interdisciplinary type human. The foresight of the prof. Sa jinsil in the education for creativity-interdisciplinary type human is confirmed. On the other hand, in order to cultivate creativity-interdisciplinary type human, it is also required to cultivate the ability to 'fun speaking' as well as 'logically speaking'. In this regard, I presented Jaedam, one of the Korean traditional plays, as an alternative. The reason for this is as follows; (1)It is possible to succeed Korean traditional theater performance style through regular class. (2)Students can develop emotional and empathy skills through fun speaking education. (3)Students will develop persuasive storytelling skills. At this time, the traditional play series 1~9, which contains the works of Prof. Sa Jinsil, and cultural ideas and educational ideas, will be useful.
