The current mathematics curriculum are consist of the following domains: 'Characteristics', 'Objectives', 'Contents', 'Teaching and learning method', and 'Assessment'. The mathematics standards which students have to learn in the school are presented in the domain of 'Contents'. 'Contents' are consist of the following sub-domains: 'Number and Operation', 'Geometric Figures', 'Measures', 'Probability and Statistics', and 'Pattern and Problem-Solving' (Elementary School); 'Number and Operation', 'Geometry', 'Letter and Formula', 'Function', and 'Probability and Statistics' (Junior and Senior High School). These sub-domains of 'Contents' are dealing with mathematical subjects, except 'Problem-Solving' at the elementary school level. In this study, the sub-domain of 'mathematical process' was suggested in an equal position to the typical sub-domains of 'Contents'.

Three cDNA clones encoding rice calmodulin (CaM) isoforms (OsCaM-1, OsCaM-2, and OsCaM-3) were isolated from a rice cDNA library constructed from suspension-cultured rice cells treated with fungal elicitor. The coding regions of OsCaM-1 and O.sCaM-2 were 89% homologous at DNA Ievel, whereas the 5' and 3' untranslated regions were highly divergent. The polypeptides encoded by OsCaM-1 and OsCaM-2 was identical except two conservative substitution at position 8 and 75. The coding region of OsCaM-3 was consist of a typical conserved CaM domain and an additional C-terminal extension. The amino acid sequence of conserved CaM domain of OsCaM-3 shared only 86% identity with that OsCaM-1. The OsCaM-3 cDNA is belongs to a novel group of calmodulin gene due to its C-terminal extension of 38 amino acids, a large number of which are positively charged. The extension also contains a C-terminal CaaX-box prenylation site (CVlL). Genomic Southern analysis revealed at least six copies of CaM or CaM-related genes, suggesting that calmodulin may be represented by a small multigene family in the rice geneme. Expression of OsCaM gene was examined through Northern blot analysis. Transcript level of OsCaM-3 was increased by treatment with a fungal elicitor, whereas the OsCaM-1 and OsCaM-2 genes did not respond to the fungal elicitor. The expression of OsCaM-3 gene was remarkable inhibited in the rice cells treated with cyclosporine A, calcinurin inhibitor.
The main goal of this paper is to describe and analyse intensifiers, especially non-head-bound-intensifiers (NHBIs), which can be included in the discussion and analysis of these elements as focus particles. In doing so, NHBIs such as Korean susulo, casin/cache, English x-self and German selbst are dealt with in a rather cross-linguistical perspective. The pure and strict comparison between Korean, English and German is not intended. This paper is mainly concerned with the semantic domain where the respective contributions of the expressions in question overlap, which offers the common base for the discussion regarding Korean, one of the non-European languages and English and German, two European languages. They share the semantic domain ‘intensification’ regarding relevant subject-NP. They introduce an ordering distinguishing center and periphery. In contrast to head-bound-intensifiers (HBIs), however, NHBIs add self-involvement (directness of involvement) of subject-NP to the meaning of the relevant sentence. I adopt the proposals of Konig (1991), Primus (1992) and Siemund (2000) in the treatment of intensifiers as focus particles. However, I reject Konig (1991) that just NHBIs talre scope over a whole clause, Primus (1992) that NHBIs focus VPs, not NPs, and Siemund (2000) that NHBIs can be further devided into two groups, viz. NHBIs with exclusive readings and NHBIs with inclusive readings. Evidence for my position is presented mainly in the course of describing and analysing some syntactic properties and the meaning and use of NHBIs. I come to the conclusion that both the common meaning of intensifiers as focus particles and the common meaning of NHBIs of three languages can be represented by a simple logical formalism.
Targeting a floating wave and offshore wind hybrid power generation system (FWWHybrid) designed in the Republic of Korea, this study examines the impact of the interaction, with multiple wave energy converters (WECs) placed on the platform, on platform motion. To investigate how the motion of WECs affects the behavior of the FWWHybrid platform, it was numerically compared with a scenario involving a 'single-body' system, where multiple WECs are constrained to the platform. In the case of FWWHybrid, because the platform and multiple WECs move in response to waves simultaneously as a 'multi-body' system, hydrodynamic interactions between these entities come into play. Additionally, the power take-off (PTO) mechanism between the platform and individual WECs is introduced for power production. First, the hydrostatic/dynamic coefficients required for numerical analysis were calculated in the frequency domain and then used in the time domain analysis. These simulations are performed using the extended HARP/CHARM3D code developed from previous studies. By conducting regular wave simulations, the response amplitude operator (RAO) for the platform of both single-body and multi-body scenarios was derived and subsequently compared. Next, to ascertain the difference in response in the real sea environment, this study also includes an analysis of irregular waves. As the floating body maintains its position through connection to a catenary mooring line, the impact of the slowly varying wave drift load cannot be disregarded. To assess the influence of the 2nd-order wave exciting load, irregular wave simulations were conducted, dividing them into cases where it was not considered and cases where it was included. The analysis of multi-degree-of-freedom behavior confirmed that the action of multiple WECs had a substantial impact on the platform's response.
We present a secondary camera optimization method that helps the user exploring 3D virtual environment to precisely observe possible collisions between objects. The first role of our secondary camera is to automatically detect the area with the greatest possible collision. The second role is to show the detected area from a new angle of view that the current main camera cannot show. However, as the shapes of target objects are complex, the shape of the empty space between objects is also complex and narrow. It means that the space for the secondary camera position is highly constrained and its optimization can be very difficult. To avoid this difficulty and increase the efficiency of the optimization, we first compute a bisector surface between two target objects. Then, we limit the domain of the secondary camera's position on the bisector surface in the optimization process. To verify the utility of our method, we built a demonstration program in which the user can explore in a 3D virtual world and interact with objects by using a hand motion recognition device and conducted a user study.
New method about the dose optimization problem in radiation treatment was researched. Since all conditions are more complex and there are more relevant variables, the solution of three-dimensional treatment planning is much more complicate than that of current two-dimensional one. There(ore, in this study, as a method to solve three-dimensional dose optimization problem, the considered variables was minized and researched by reducing the domain that solutions can exist and pre-determining the important beam parameters. First, the dangerous beam range that passes critical organ was found by coordinate transformation between linear accelerator coordinate and patient coordinate. And the beam size and rotation angle for rectangular collimator that conform tumor at arbitrary beam position was also determined. As a result, the available beam position could be reduced and the dependency on beam size and rotation angle, that is very important parameter in treatment planning, totally removed. Therefore, the resultant combinations of relevant variables could be greatly reduced and the dose optimization by objective function can be done with minimum variables. From the above results, the dose optimization problem was solved for the two-dimensional radiation treatment planning useful in clinic. The objective function was made by combination of dose gradient, critical organ dose and dose homogeniety. And the optimum variables were determined by applying step search method to objective function. From the dose distributions by optimum variables, the merit of new dose optimization method was verified and it can be implemented on commercial radiation treatment planning system with further research.

The very low natural frequencies of tension leg platforms (TLP's) have raised the concern about the significance of the action of hydrodynamic wave forces on the response of such platforms. In this paper, a numerical study using modified Morison equation was carried out in the time domain to investigate the influence of nonlinearities due to hydrodynamic forces and the coupling effect between surge, sway, heave, roll, pitch and yaw degrees of freedom on the dynamic behavior of TLP's. The stiffness of the TLP was derived from a combination of hydrostatic restoring forces and restoring forces due to cables and the nonlinear equations of motion were solved utilizing Newmark's beta integration scheme. The effect of wave characteristics such as wave period and wave height on the response of TLP's was evaluated. Only uni-directional waves in the surge direction was considered in the analysis. It was found that coupling between various degrees of freedom has insignificant effect on the displacement responses. Moreover, for short wave periods (i.e., less than 10 sec.), the surge response consisted of small amplitude oscillations about a displaced position that is significantly dependent on the wave height; whereas for longer wave periods, the surge response showed high amplitude oscillations about its original position. Also, for short wave periods, a higher mode contribution to the pitch response accompanied by period doubling appeared to take place. For long wave periods, (12.5 and 15 sec.), this higher mode contribution vanished after very few cycles.

The low power consumption modulation is required for short range communication. In this paper, we analyze performance of low power consumption modulation scheme such as PSPM, PSSK and QAPM using OFDM transmission in AWGN channel. A PSPM, PSSK and QAPM modulation scheme are decrease in bandwidth efficiency but improved power efficiency than existing PSK and QAM. These modulation schemes can achieve power efficiency because every symbol of modulations has a zero-envelope period like PPM techniques. The OFDM system is high bandwidth efficiency than single carrier system. In this paper, we are propose the frequency domain mapping method for OFDM transmission using low power consumption modulation method. Also, we compare low power OFDM communication system regard to BER performance, throughput and PAPR.
Paleomagnetic and rock-magnetic data of Cretaceous sedimentary and volcanic rocks from the Euiseong area indicate that the stable components of remanence are carried by single and pseudo-single domain magnetite, with the exception of the Shinyangdong Formation which has been remagnetized. The Hayang Group, except for the remagnetized Shinyangdong Formation, yields the mean characteristic direction of $D/I=22.5^{\circ}/57.2^{\circ}$ (${\alpha}_{95}=4.6^{\circ}$, N=14 sites) and the pole position is $72.0^{\circ}N$, $206.4^{\circ}E$ ($dp/dm=4.9^{\circ}/6.7^{\circ}$). The Yucheon Group shows two polarities and the mean characteristic direction of $D/I=351.2^{\circ}/60.5^{\circ}$ (${\alpha}_{95}=11.2^{\circ}$, N= 19 sites) and the pole position is $81.3^{\circ}N$, $79.0^{\circ}E$ ($dp/dm=13.0^{\circ}/17.0^{\circ}$). The mean directions of both the Hayang and the Yucheon Groups are supported by the McElhinny's fold test at the 99% confidence level and that of the Yucheon Group by a reversal test at the 95% confidence level. A magnetostratigraphic correlation between polarities of the study formations and the Geomagnetic Time Scale indicates that the Hayang Group can be correlated to the Cretaceous Long Normal Superchron (CLNS), and the Yucheon Group to the boundary between the CLNS and the Polarity Chron 33R or later boundaries between normal and reverse polarities. Comparison of the paleopoles from this study with those from the surrounding areas both within the Gyeongsang basin and in the northeastern Asia indicates that the study area was not undergone significant tectonic rotations with respect to the other parts of the Gyeongsang basin and that the Korean Peninsula was the part of the single terrane of the northeastern Asia at least since the CLNS. The Yucheon Group can be divided into four sub-groups based on the paleomagnetic data, suggesting that there were at least four times of volcanic activities in the study area.

New communication and information technologies such as the Internet are space-adjusting technologies. The Internet changes the spatial proximity by improving the connections between people and organizations separated by geographical distance This paper examines the digital position of individual nation-states on a global cyberspace. The number of inter-domain hyperlinks embedded in websites for 47 nations was gathered using the AltaVista in 2001 Data were also obtained on the geographical distance among the nations. The results indicate that the u.s. is the most central nation on the global cyberspace, followed by the U.K., Germany, Australia, Canada, Italy, France, China and Japan. The most peripheral nations are Uruguay, Luxemburg, and UAE. It also examines the relationship between the digital positions of 47 nations and their physical locations. The results indicate that digital structure on the cyberspace is not significantly related to geographical distance among those nations.
