탐지확률 분석에 의한 입수점 선정 알고리듬 개발 방안 (A Development Method for Water Entry Point Selection Algorithm by Detection Probability Analysis)

  • In this paper, Water Entry Point Selection Algorithm(WEPSA) for selecting an optimal Water Entry Point of anti-submarine missiles which maximizes Detection Probability about a given target was investigated. WEPSA is a method which decides the position of an optimal Water Entry Point with calculating the target Detection Probability of a torpedo in the whole domain which centered by the target, performing the Monte-Carlo Simulations which include errors for the target informations and for weapon delivery. We can decide an optimal Water Entry Point of anti-submarine missiles which maximizes Detection Probability about a given target with WEPSA, if we get target informations about target range, target bearing, target speed and target course from Combat Systems.

  • The purpose of this paper is to deeply understand the developing of long-term relationship between salesperson and customer through analyzing of various literature. Salespersons are important due to their forefront position in retailing setting. They are called \"relationship manger\" due to their function of controlling service quality. Therefore understanding the salesperson-customer relationship is critical in retail environment. To accomplish the purpose of this paper, at first, the concept of relationship marketing and the domain of relationship marketing is examined. Then long-term relationship is studied through existing study on buyer-seller relationship. Anticipation of future interaction or long-term relationship orientation is generated from antecedent variables through mediating variables. Though previous studies ignored developing status of long-term relationship, developing status must be captured to thoroughly understand interpersonal relationship. Implication for relationship marketing theory and research are discussed related to clothing retail setting.l setting.

터렛계류된 FPSO의 비선형 운동 해석 (Nonlinear Motion Analysis of FPSO with Turret Mooring System)

  • The FPSO is moored by mooring lines to keep the position of it. The nonlinear motion analysis of the moored FPSO must be carried out in the initial design stage because sea environments affect motion of it. In this paper, the mathematical model is based on the slow motion maneuvering equations in the horizontal plane considering wave, current and wind forces. The direct integration method is employed to estimate wave loads. The current forces are calculated by using mathematical model of MMG. The turret mooring forces are quasi-statically evaluated by using the catenary equation. The coefficients of a model for wind forces are calculated from Isherwood's experimental data and the variation of wind speed is estimated by wind spectrum according to the guidelines of API-RP2A. The nonlinear motions of FPSO are simulated under external forces due to wave, current, wind including mooring forces in time domain.

Application of neuro-fuzzy algorithm to portable dynamic positioning control system for ships

  • This paper describes the nonlinear dynamic motion behavior of a ship equipped with a portable dynamic positioning (DP) control system, under external forces. The waves, current, wind, and drifting forces were considered in the calculations. A self-tuning controller based on a neuro-fuzzy algorithm was used to control the rotation speed of the outboard thrusters for the optimal adjustment of the ship position and heading and for path tracking. Time-domain simulations for ship motion with six degrees of freedom with the DP system were performed using the fourth-order RungeeKutta method. The results showed that the path and heading deviations were within acceptable ranges for the control method used. The portable DP system is a practical alternative for ships lacking professional DP facilities.

  • In this paper, a new two dimensional processing method is presented, which determines the identity, position and orientation of a part. Matching between the object and model is performed in the frequency domain. The DFT of the object contour is decomposed to estimated the orientation of the object and to evaluate the similarity between the object and model. In this context, this new approach is very rbust with respect to noise and no preprocessing of the contour is required. Also, this method has many advantages over the conventional correlation technique. With only a few uniformly sampled points, this method can estimate the accurate orientation in an efficient manner even in a noisy environment.

BPEJTC를 이용한 광 영상 스위칭 시스템 (Optical Image Switching System based on BPEJTC)

  • In this paper, a new real-time optical image switching system based on the phase-typed BPEJTC is suggested. The phase filter mask which has the arbitrary position mapping function between input and output planes is constructed by using the modified JTPS of the BPEJTC. Then, the input image is convolved with this phase filter mask in the spatial frequency domain and through further Fourier transform the input image is switched to the new positions in the output correlation plane where the correlation peaks are occurred. And, based on the computer simulation results, the practical optical switched to the new positions in the output correlation plane where the correlation peaks are occurred. And, based on the computer simulation results, the practical optical switching system is opto-digitally constructed and through some experiments on image switching the possiblity of real-time implementation of the multiple optical image switching system by using the BPEJTC is suggeste.

  • Electromagnetic control valves have been used for almost 20 years. As the solenoid modulating technology advances, its applications are extending to various industrial fields such as nuclear and fossil fuel power plants, chemical plants and refineries. Proportional solenoid valve for large flow control is designed with two-stage configuration to meet the required actuating force on the main disc and its position is stabilized by the self-controlled system. In this research, main disc dynamics is analyzed with linearized system model which is derived from the mathematical equations describing its nonlinear behavior. Major design parameters of the valve control system that affect the response and stability are also studied with root locus method. The linear dynamic analysis results are verified with simulations in time-domain.

  • GPS Receiver gives pseudorange Doppler and integrated carrier phase for measurements to compute navigation information. Thought the integrated carrier phase can be transfer to the equal domain as pseudorange by multiplying the wave length of the received signal, in order to get position information from the carrier phase measurements the integer ambiguity should be resolved. And differencing technique is generally used to eliminate the common error terms of the integrated carrier phase measurements between robber and server. In short baseline double-differencing operation has effect on elimination the common biases for both stations and thus ambiguity resolution are to be reliable.   • A manipulator system that needs significantly large workspace volume and high payload capacity has greater link flexibility than typical industrial robots and teleoperators. If link flexibility is significant, position control of the manipulator's end-effector exhibits the nonminimum phase, noncollocated, and flexible structure system control problems. This paper addresses inverse dynamic trajectory planning issues of a flexible manipulator. The inverse dynamic equation of a flexible manipulator was solved in the time domain. By dividing the inverse system equation into the causal part and the anticausal part, the inverse dynamic method calculates the feedforward torque and the trajectories of all state variables that do not excite structural vibrations for a given end-point trajectory. Through simulation and experiment with a single-Unk flexible manipulator, the effectiveness of the inverse dynamic method has been demonstrated.

  • We present applications of MLS-based finite elements, which enable us to easily treat highly complex nonmatching finite element meshes and discontinuities. The shape functions of MLS-based finite element can be easily generated with the aid of Moving Least Square approximation on the parental domain. The major advantage includes that the position of element nodes as well as the number of the element nodes can be conveniently adjusted according to the nature of the problems under consideration, so that finite-element mesh is straightforwardly adapted to evolving discontinuities and. interfaces. Furthermore, we show that the present MLS-based finite elements are efficiently applied for elastic-plastic deformations, wherein the implicit constraint of incompressibility should be properly handled.
