Keyword advertising has been used as a promotion tool rather than the advertising itself to online retailers. This is because the online retailer expects the direct sales increase when they deploy the keyword sponsorship. In practice, many online sellers rely on keyword advertising to promote their sales in short term with limited budget. Most of the previous researches use direct revenue factors as dependent variables such as CTR (click through rate) and CVI (conversion per impression) in their researches on the keyword advertising[14, 16, 22, 25, 31, 32]. Previous studies were, however, conducted in the context of aggregate-level due to the limitations on the data availability. These researches cannot evaluate the performance of keyword advertising in the individual level. To overcome these limitations, our research focuses on conversion of keyword advertising in individual-level. Also, we consider manageable factors as independent variables in terms of online retailers (the costs of keyword by implementation methods and meanings of keyword). In our study we developed the keyword advertising conversion model in the individual-level. With our model, we can make some theoretical findings and managerial implications. Practically, in the case of a fixed cost plan, an increase of the number of clicks is revealed as an effective way. However, higher average CPC is not significantly effective in increasing probability of purchase conversion. When this type (fixed cost plan) of implementation could not generate a lot of clicks, it cannot significantly increase the probability of purchase choice. Theoretically, we consider the promotional attributes which influence consumer purchase behavior and conduct individuals-level research based on the actual data. Limitations and future direction of the study are discussed.
In natural river, river-bed change is greatly influenced by the various factors such as river improvement, change of watershed land use, construction of dam and reservoir, gravel mining, and so on. The knowledge about river-bed change in the river is essential in the river modification, wetlands plan, and maintaining stable alluvial rivers. In this study, river-bed change in the future was predicted by investigating river channel characteristics which play dominant role in the formation of channel and based on the numerical model through river survey and the grain size analysis. The Proposed investigation and model was applied to the Geum river and the Miho stream which have been experienced river degradation due to river aggregate dredging and now seams to be stable. The result of potential river-bed change which was estimated by investigating channel characteristic including slope of channel, friction velocity, and so on is similar to that which was estimated based on the numerical model. It was found that the Geum river and the Miho stream will be stable. In the future, if considering the characteristics of river channel which is estimated by the river-bed scour, sediment, and so on, it is possible that river improvement and wetland restoration plan are established stably and naturally.

Selecting suppliers in the global supply chain is the very difficult and complicated decision making problem particularly due to the various types of supply risk in addition to the uncertain performance of the potential suppliers. This paper proposes a multi-phase decision making model for supplier selection under supply risks in global supply chains. In the first phase, the model suggests supplier selection solutions suitable to a given condition of decision making using a rule-based expert system. The expert system consists of a knowledge base of supplier selection solutions and an "if-then" rule-based inference engine. The knowledge base contains information about options and their consistency for seven characteristics of 20 supplier selection solutions chosen from articles published in SCIE journals since 2010. In the second phase, the model computes the potential suppliers' general performance indices using a technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) based on their scores obtained by applying the suggested solutions. In the third phase, the model computes their risk indices using a TOPSIS based on their historical and predicted scores obtained by applying a risk evaluation algorithm. The evaluation algorithm deals with seven types of supply risk that significantly affect supplier's performance and eventually influence buyer's production plan. In the fourth phase, the model selects Pareto optimal suppliers based on their general performance and risk indices. An example demonstrates the implementation of the proposed model. The proposed model provides supply chain managers with a practical tool to effectively select best suppliers while considering supply risks as well as the general performance.
Presented in this paper is a control model for developing virtual factory simulator, which is being operated under the distributed environment. The control model consists of production activity plan and information flows. To incorporate elements of the characteristics of the distributed control system, we suggested a collaboration model. This model is working under the client/server architecture, and also designed for cooperative-distributed shop control(CDSC) system in order to exploit several advantages of client/server architecture. Collaboration among each agent(or client) is done through negotiation and task sharing. Based on a contract net model, the CDSC system has three kinds of agents-order agent, resource agent, and communication forwarding agent. Each agent performs shop scheduling and control through negotiation on contract net. No node in CDSC system can have authority over other node. A bidding scheme is employed far negotiation between order agent and resource agents. The CDSC system can support re-negotiation among resource agents and an algorithm for re-negotiation is also developed. Experimental results are shown to advocate the effectiveness of the CDSC system for CIM environments.

In this study, a Multiple Objective Mixed Integer Programming (MOMIP) Model is developed for sewer rehabilitation planning by considering cost, inflow/infiltration. A sewer rehabilitation planning model is required to decide the economic life of the sewer by considering trade-off between cost and inflow/infiltration. And it is required to find the optimal rehabilitation timing, according to the cost effectiveness of each sewer rehabilitation within the budget. To develop such a model, a multiple objective mixed integer programming model is formulated based on network flow optimization. The network is composed of state nodes and arcs. The state nodes represent the remaining life and the arcs represent the change of the state. The model consider multiple objectives which are cost minimization and minimization of inflow/infiltration. Using the multiple objective optimization, the trade-off between the cost and inflow/infiltration is presented to the planner so that a proper sewer rehabilitation plan can be selected.
A system dynamics model is developed to investigate policies for the school-age child weights and heights. The model is based upon the system dynamic model of Soonhee lee(2003), the purpose of which was policy analysis for obese control of adult people. Although the purpose and target people are different, the main structure can be applied to in the same way. Besides the carbohydrate, protein, and fat material, the new model covers hormone and heights with new input mechanisms for foods and activities. The simulation results matches well with the average school-age children in Korea with the average inputs data (foods and activities). The model can be used for various purposes such as policy analyses, care plan for obese children, etc.
Users' demands on the space are changing in variety. These demands include reasonable space and form, harmonious composition with surroundings and esthetic satisfaction that could be brought by personal tastes and preferences. In addition, models that are introduced from designing process and from various forms tend to lack objective decision making standard. Accordingly it is difficult to find a clear alternative plan and process. In an effort to solve these problems, the objects of this study are; to propose an analysis model of image and space by using image process techniques that are on study in the field of artificial intelligence based on acquisition of digital image and to verify the application possibilities of such analysis model, 'Isovist' on quantitative analysis. The model can be applied with variable analysis model, as digital image process and other analysis model such as 'Isovist' It is possible that further study can complement problems from this study.

In this paper, we intended to present a model for estimating carbon dioxide emissions by work of construction equipment using Artificial Neural Network(ANN) analysis. In this study, data of excavators and trucks are classified according to the work carried out, and carbon dioxide emissions are predicted through ANN based on equipment information and work information. As a result, the effect of each model was validated, and a carbon dioxide emission prediction model was derived for each work. This has the expected effect of establishig an eco-friendly process plan using this model from the construction planning stage.

Currently, brand apartment is positioning itself as one of the representative Korean housing. This allows to look into the planning side and cultural side of the Korean housing. The purpose of this study is to review the previous trend in apartment housing according to period, and to verify the trend of current Korean apartment housing by visiting the model houses in PanGyo, the new city. This study has chosen case study method of 11 cases which had been sorted out in different floor plan type and size. The findings of the study is as followed. In the aspect of spatial arrangement, it had been similar to the previous apartment plan but had a new attempt to break out from the old apartment structure by bring in round shaped living room. Also, due to the legalization of balcony expansion, various tries had been made to increase the level of function and to allow variety of usage. In the environmental aspect, the concept of wellbeing and health had been a great importance in apartment planning. In the digital aspect, various digital systems had been introduce for convenience and safety via home network system. Furthermore, based on the various lifestyle, the storytelling design concept applied in the interior design, which will have to effect the future model house design planning. Nonetheless, the current emphasis on universal design is expected to be treated one of the important concept in Korean apartment planning. This study has a significant meaning on readdressing current trend in Korean housing and to provide informations for future directions on Korean apartment planning.
