  • 최근 사물인터넷에 대한 발전이 빠르게 이루어짐에 따라서 인터넷 상의 보안 이슈 또한 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 데이터를 안전하고 은밀하게 통신하기 위한 공개키 기반 구조 (public-Key Infrastructure: PKI) 기술이 발전하고 있다. PKI는 신뢰할 수 있는 기관에서 개인이나 기관을 식별할 수 있는 인증서를 저장하고 있으며 이를 활용할 수 있도록 돕는 디렉토리 서비스를 제공한다. 특히 기존의 PKI 구조에는 사용자의 경험이 담겨있는 패스워드 기반으로 개인키를 암호화 하고 있다. 이는 사용자 인증과 데이터 암호화와 같은 강력한 보안 서비스를 제공하고 있지만 이 또한 취약점을 내포하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 공개키 기반 구조의 핵심 요소에 대해 논의하며 보안 취약점을 분석한다. 이를 통해 안전한 사물인터넷 환경을 위한 연구 방향을 제시한다.

  • Nowadays most web rages provide various services by downloading the applications program such as ActiveX Control or Java Applet. To provide code integrity and publisher authentication of downloaded software in internet, we need code signing technology. In this paper, Authenticode technology of Microsoft is lust analyzed. Based on the analysis, we propose code signing certificate profile and applying method for National Public Key Infrastructure.

  • 기 구축된 Public Key Infrastructure(이하 PKI) 에서 발급된 디지털인증서를 외부 네트워크와 단절된 인트라넷 환경에서 사용하기 외부 네트워크에 지정된 인증서 검증 서버에 접속할 수가 없기 때문에 인증서 유효성 검증의 문제를 발생시켜 사용이 불가능하다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 인트라넷 환경을 위한 인증서유효목록 검증 시스템을 제안한다. 인증서유효목록 검증 시스템은 기존의 PKI 에서 인증서 검증을 위해서 사용하는 Certificate Revocation List (이하 CRL)를 대체하는 Certificate Valid List (이하 CVL)를 사용하여 외부 네트워크와 접속이 단절된 인트라넷 환경에서도 기 구축된 PKI 에서 발급된 디지털 인증서의 유효성을 검증할 수 있다. 인증서유효목록 검증 시스템은 CVL 의 생성을 위한 Certificate Valid List Manager (이하 CVLM)와 주기적인 CVL 발급 및 게시를 위한 Certificate Valid List Issuer (이하 CVLI), 응용서비스에서 사용하는 User Agent (이하 UA) 를 포함한다.

  • As computers and networks become popular, distributing information on the Internet is common in our daily life. In the past, e-mail has been the primary choice of exchanging information, but instant messengers are gaining popularity abroad and domestically because of their nature of getting immediate reponses. However a instant messenger services have the exposure of data on internet but clients use them without recognizing their exposure. It's like phone tapping. The coding technology using Public Key Cryptosystem has developed the public key infrastructure to be able to do the services of Access-control, Authentication, Confidentiality, Integrity. and Non-repudiation with internet. It is a thesis that suggests the certification protocol in a instant messenger using PKI(Public Key Infrastructure) for secure communication.

  • 최근 주목할만한 인터넷 보안기술 중 공개키 암호화 시스템을 이용해 향상된 보안수준을 제공하기 위한 기반 기술인 PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)는 각종 전자상거래 제반기술로 작용한다는 점에서 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 이와 더불어 최근 차세대 웹 표준문서 포맷으로 부상되고 있는 XML(extensible Markup Language)은 B2B 문서교환과 데이터 전송 및 검색 부문에서 광범위하게 활용됨으로써, XML문서에 대한 보안 및 XML을 활용한 PKI 기술적용을 위한 표준화 작업 또한 활발히 연구되고 있다. 그 결과 Microsoft, Verisign 그리고 Webmethods가 주축이 되어 XML기반 파세대 PKI기술인 XKMS(Xml Key Management Specification)를 개발하였으며, XKMS 표준화 작업에 그 외 다수의 주력업체들이 참여하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 XKMS의 표준화를 진행중인 표준화 단체의 동향을 파악하고, PKI의 전반적인 기술 및 XKMS 기술의 내부적인 구조를 분석한다.

  • Many service systems use Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to protect the service. But there arc problems with the use of PKI. One of the problems is that some services would require a function instantaneously to check public kel certificate, but PKI does not satisfy such request. To solve the problem, Bouch et al. first proposed the concept of mediated RSA (mRSA). Then Gene Tsudik proposed 'weak' forward secure mRSA. In this paper, we analyze the weakness of these schemes and find the source of the vulnerabilitv. And we propose a new mRSA that is strong forward secure.

  • Open System Authentication Method, Shared Key Method, Mac Based Authentication Method are very hard to use in wireless network that needs security. So now, many researches have been performed about 802.1x and user authentication method applying PKI. but certificate verification protocol has been used abolished list called CRL since it's first usage of PKI, there were still has a problem about distribution point. This paper applied CVS to use CA direct not to use CRL and OSCP server in order to improve this problems. Also It suggested the system that can make authentication steps more shorter using authentication server and Mutual authentication system by public certificate(small size/low speed wireless terminal can access to wireless network fast and safely)

  • Nowadays, Internet becomes an essential element in our life. We can make use of numerous on-line services through Internet such as information search, on-line shopping, e-mail service, etc. But, while getting the benefits of Internet service, invasion of our privacy frequently occurs because on-line service providers tend to request excessive or unnecessary personal information. So, there have been some researches on anonymous authentication, which means that user can authenticate herself, not revealing her identity or personal information. But, most of the researches are not somewhat applicable to current authentication infrastructure. In this paper, we propose a pseudonym-based anonymous PKI with short group signature. Using our proposed scheme, we can provide anonymity with conditional traceability to current PKI.

  • PKI Internet banking is used to have users register their public keys with the banking server together with the identity information, and verify the signature for both user and transaction authentications by using the registered public keys. Although the Blockchain-based financial systems such as Bitcoin adopt similar digital signature-based authentication scheme, there is no server that participants can register public keys with because they perform P2P payment transactions. The purpose of this paper is to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the Blockchain-based payment transactions by analyzing the differences between the most common PKI Internet banking and Blockchain payment systems. Based on the analysis, this paper suggests the issues that need to be enhanced from the aspects of architecture and security in order for Blockchain payment transaction systems to be applied universally.

  • In emerging technologies, innovation processes are dynamic in that the government needs to regularly review its policies to resonate with rapid technological advancements, changing public needs, and evolving global trends. In the 1990s, the Internet grew at an explosive rate, but many applications were constrained due to security concerns. Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) seemed to be the fundamental technology to address these concerns by providing security functions. As of 2017, PKI is still one of the best technologies for electronic authentication in an open network, but it is used only in limited areas: for user authentications in closed networks and for server authentications within network security infrastructure like SSL/TLS. The difference between expectation and reality of PKI usage is due to the evolution of the Internet along with the global adoption of new authentication policies under the Internet governance in the early 2000s. The new Internet governance based on the cooperation between multi-stakeholders is changing the way in which a government should act with regard to its technological policies. This paper analyzes different PKI policy approaches in the United States and Korea from the perspective of path-dependence theory. Their different policy results show evidence of the rise of the Internet governance, and may have important implications for policy-makers in the current global Internet society.
