동씨침(董氏針) 기혈(奇穴)을 이용한 자기요법(磁氣療法)이 여대생의 월경전증후군 및 생리통에 미치는 효과 (Effect of the Dong Shi Acupuncture Therapy on the Relief of Premenstrual Syndrome and Dysmenorrhea in Female College Students)

  • Objectives : This study is to determine the effects of magnetics therapy on the relief of premenstrual syndrome and dysmenorrhea among female college students. Methods : 20 female college students in a university are selected to the experimental group. All of the subjects have the score of more than 6 on the visual analogue scale for measuring the level of premenstrual pain. The data was collected by using questionnaires. The magnetics therapy on the Dong Shi Acupuncture Therapy extra points (婦科, 還巢, 木婦, 門金) was administered to the experimental group. Results : The results were as follows. The first hypothesis is supported ; the experimental group who received magnetics therapy on the Dong Shi Acupuncture will decrease premenstrual syndrome. The second hypothesis is supported ; the experimental group who received magnetics therapy on the Dong Shi Acupuncture will decrease dysmenorrhea. Conclusions : As a result of this study, magnetics therapy on the Dong Shi Acupuncture will be able to be used as the self care therapy to improve the symptoms of females with the premenstrual syndrome and dysmenorrhea.

여대생 월경(月經)의 심박변이도 변화에 대한 연구 (Change of Heart Rate Variability on Menstruation in Women at College)

  • This study aims to show the change of Heart Rate Variability(HRV) and Pulse wave velocity(PWV) on menstruation in women at college. Heart Rate Variability(HRV) and Pulse wave velocity(PWV) of 122 women at college were measured at their menstruation and ordinary period. SDNN, RMSSD, SDSD, HRV Index(%), stress resistance and cardiac activity were significantly higher at their menstruation than ordinary period, but Total Power and pNN50(%) were opposite. The automatic nervous system balance and physical stress were decreased in groups without dysmenorrhea than with one. PWV(E-R) and PWV(E-L) were much higher at menstruation than ordinary period. PTT(F-R) and PTT(F-L) were decreased in groups without dysmenorrhea than with severe one. We demonstrated that menstruation can effect on Heart Rate Variability and Pulse wave velocity and dysmenorrhea can cause the imbalance of autonomic nervous system.

  • Purpose: To presenting basic data for the spatial composition required when planning the future department of rehabilitation medicine by analyzing the spatial composition of the location, size, area, and plan type of the rehabilitation department of the Regional Public Hospital. Methods: 3 Methods have been used in this paper. 1) Analyzing drawings to derive the net floor area of each room. 2) A literature survey about rehabilitation healthcare system. 3) Observation survey for user circulation analysis. Results: 1) Rehabilitation is an overall process of treatment that helps to play a role as an individual in society, away from the perspective of treating physical damage. The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of the local medical center must provide rehabilitation medical services corresponding to the recovery and maintenance period for community rehabilitation. 2) The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine can be classified into diagnostics area, examination area, treatment area, management area, and interface area based on the rehabilitation treatment process. Implication: It can be used as basic data when planning related facilities by analyzing the characteristics of the space plan of the required room according to the relationship between activities, movement lines, and operation plans based on user behavior.

Application of array comparative genomic hybridization in Korean children under 6 years old with global developmental delay

  • Purpose: Recent advancements in molecular techniques have greatly contributed to the discovery of genetic causes of unexplained developmental delay. Here, we describe the results of array comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) and the clinical features of 27 patients with global developmental delay. Methods: We included 27 children who fulfilled the following criteria: Korean children under 6 years with global developmental delay; children who had at least one or more physical or neurological problem other than global developmental delay; and patients in whom both array CGH and G-banded karyotyping tests were performed. Results: Fifteen male and 12 female patients with a mean age of $29.3{\pm}17.6months$ were included. The most common physical and neurological abnormalities were facial dysmorphism (n=16), epilepsy (n=7), and hypotonia (n=7). Pathogenic copy number variation results were observed in 4 patients (14.8%): 18.73 Mb dup(2)(p24.2p25.3) and 1.62 Mb del(20p13) (patient 1); 22.31 Mb dup(2) (p22.3p25.1) and 4.01 Mb dup(2)(p21p22.1) (patient 2); 12.08 Mb del(4)(q22.1q24) (patient 3); and 1.19 Mb del(1)(q21.1) (patient 4). One patient (3.7%) displayed a variant of uncertain significance. Four patients (14.8%) displayed discordance between G-banded karyotyping and array CGH results. Among patients with normal array CGH results, 4 (16%) revealed brain anomalies such as schizencephaly and hydranencephaly. One patient was diagnosed with Rett syndrome and one with $M{\ddot{o}}bius$ syndrome. Conclusion: As chromosomal microarray can elucidate the cause of previously unexplained developmental delay, it should be considered as a first-tier cytogenetic diagnostic test for children with unexplained developmental delay.

임상병리사의 직무스트레스의 수준에 따른 하위영역의 실태조사 (Investigation of Subcategories according to the Level of Job Stress in Medical Technologist)

  • 본 연구는 임상병리사를 대상으로 직무스트레스의 정도를 파악하고, 이들 간의 상관성을 규명함으로써 직무스트레스의 감소를 위해 건강을 높일 수 있는 방안을 마련하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행한 서술적 조사 연구이다. 임상병리사의 직무스트레스는 최대 100점에 49.74점으로 나타났고, 하부영역별로 직무불안정이 64.42점으로 가장 높았고, 조직체계가 52.46점, 보상부적절이 52.30점, 물리적환경이 51.15점, 직무 요구도는 49.57점, 직무자율성결여는 48.43점, 관계갈등은 39.78점 순이었고, 직장문화는 39.77점으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 임상병리사의 직무스트레스에 관련한 요인들의 상관성을 확인하였고 직무스트레스가 높은 군에서는 직무불안정을 감소시키고 건강증진에서의 신체활동을 증가시키는 활동이 요구되고, 이를 통해 직무스트레스 감소를 위해 절실한 프로그램의 개발이 요구되고. 건강상태 인자에 대한 정보를 향후 조사해야 할 것으로 사료된다.

GPA를 이용한 가스터빈 엔진의 성능진단에 의한 최적 계측변수 선정에 관한 연구 (Optimal Parameter Selection by Health Monitoring of Gas Turbine Engines using Gas Path Analysis)

  • 가스터빈 엔진의 성능예측과 진단을 위해 선형 및 비선형 가스경로 해석방법이 적용되었다. 염, 부식, 침식과 같은 물리적 손상을 탐지하기 위한 최적 계측변수를 구하기 위해 비선형 가스경로 해석을 이용하였다. 물리적 손상이 엔진성능에 미치는 영향을 연구하는데 전형적 산업용 가스터빈 엔진인 TB5000에 적용하였다. 선형 가스경로 해석과 비선형 가스경로 해석의 끈 오차 비교를 통해 최적의 계측변수가 정의될 수 있었다. 결과적으로, 선형 가스경로 해석방법은 선형화 모델의 가정에 의해 유도된 오차정도가 손상의 크기와 같은 정도가 되는 반면에 비선형 가스경로 해석방법은 Newton-Raphson 반복기법을 사용하여 독립변수와 종속변수의 비선형 관계를 충분한 정확성과 함께 풀 수 있다는 점을 알 수 있었다.

한방기공체조가 두뇌력, 심박변이율, 생혈액형태에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Oriental Medicine Gi-Gong Exercise on the Brain Power, HRV, Live Blood Condition in the Youth)

  • This study was conducted to identify the effects of the oriental medicine Qigong Exercise on the brain power, HRV, pulsation, live blood condition among young boys and girls. The study was performed with two group(control group and experimental group) in a pre-test/post-test design. The subjects were 44 young boys and girls selected by a some middle school in Busan. The oriental medicine Qigong Exercise program consists of 80-minute sessions three times a week over 5 months. All of the subjects were examined on the congnition assessment tool, stress assessment tool, oriental medicine pulsation 3-D MAC, live blood condition analyzer Prior and post surveys were measured before and after the experiment. In the cognition assessment, the amplitude of ERS were increased afer Qigong Exercise. The Success and the Concentration were significantly increased afer Qigong Exercise, the Error was significantly decreased afer Qigong Exercise. The Cognition strength was significantly increased, but the Reponse time was not significantly decreased afer Qigong Exercise. And the Workload was not significantly decreased, the Total Score was not significantly increased afer Qigong Exercise. Among the stress assessment, RRV tachogram's ‘mean RR’ was significantly increased, ‘mean HRV’ was significantly decreased afer Qigong Exercise. SDNN was not significantly increased, Complexity was not significantly increased afer Qigong Exercise. And TP(RRV power's total power) was not significantly increased, VLF and HF was significantly increased, and LF was significantly decreased afer Qigong Exercise. ANS's norm LF was not significantly decreased, but norm HF was significantly increased afer Qigong Exercise. In the RRV's Phase Plot, RMSSD and SDSD were not significantly increased, pnn50 was not significantly decreased afer Qigong Exercise. On the whole, Parasympathetic Activity and Stress Endurance were significantly increased, but Cardiac Activity and Physical Arousal were not significantly increased afer Qigong Exercise. Cardiac Aging was not significantly decreased afer Qigong Exercise. Sympathetic Activity, Autonomic Nervous System Balance and Heart-load were not significantly decreased afer Qigong Exercise. In the pulsation, press power was increased(15%), and w/t(pressurization time / pulsation time) was decreased(20%) afer Oigong Exercise. And the live blood condition was not changed afer Qigong Exercise. As mentioned above; the oriental medicine Qigong Exercise program was identified the effects of the inspiration of the brain power, heart rate and anti-stress.

Novel synthesis of nanocrystalline thin films by design and control of deposition energy and plasma

  • Thin films synthesized by plasma processes have been widely applied in a variety of industrial sectors. The structure control of thin film is one of prime factor in most of these applications. It is well known that the structure of this film is closely associated with plasma parameters and species of plasma which are electrons, ions, radical and neutrals in plasma processes. However the precise control of structure by plasma process is still limited due to inherent complexity, reproducibility and control problems in practical implementation of plasma processing. Therefore the study on the fundamental physical properties that govern the plasmas becomes more crucial for molecular scale control of film structure and corresponding properties for new generation nano scale film materials development and application. The thin films are formed through nucleation and growth stages during thin film depostion. Such stages involve adsorption, surface diffusion, chemical binding and other atomic processes at surfaces. This requires identification, determination and quantification of the surface activity of the species in the plasma. Specifically, the ions and neutrals have kinetic energies ranging from ~ thermal up to tens of eV, which are generated by electron impact of the polyatomic precursor, gas phase reaction, and interactions with the substrate and reactor walls. The present work highlights these aspects for the controlled and low-temperature plasma enhanced chemical vapour disposition (PECVD) of Si-based films like crystalline Si (c-Si), Si-quantum dot, and sputtered crystalline C by the design and control of radicals, plasmas and the deposition energy. Additionally, there is growing demand on the low-temperature deposition process with low hydrogen content by PECVD. The deposition temperature can be reduced significantly by utilizing alternative plasma concepts to lower the reaction activation energy. Evolution in this area continues and has recently produced solutions by increasing the plasma excitation frequency from radio frequency to ultra high frequency (UHF) and in the range of microwave. In this sense, the necessity of dedicated experimental studies, diagnostics and computer modelling of process plasmas to quantify the effect of the unique chemistry and structure of the growing film by radical and plasma control is realized. Different low-temperature PECVD processes using RF, UHF, and RF/UHF hybrid plasmas along with magnetron sputtering plasmas are investigated using numerous diagnostics and film analysis tools. The broad outlook of this work also outlines some of the 'Grand Scientific Challenges' to which significant contributions from plasma nanoscience-related research can be foreseen.

맥솔(脈率) 측정방법(測定方法)의 신뢰도(信賴度) 분석(分析) (The Analysis on the Reliability of Measuring Pulse-Respiration Ratio)

  • Objectives: Pulse-Respiration Ratio has been used for estimating subject's Han-Yeol [寒熱] status since it mentioned in suwen [素問]. In practicing Pulse-Respiration Ratio over 5 means the status of Yeol [熱], Pulse-Respiration Ratio below 3 means the status of Han [寒]. We performed this study to examine the Optimum Standard for Measuring Pulse-Respiration Ratio on the Basis of Repeatability and Reproducibility. Methods: After subject's 5 minutes rest we measured subject's ECG, respiration pattern, EEG, EMG simultaneously. In this research examiner's number is two, subject's number is four, and the number of repeat is two. We calculated Pulse-Respiration Ratio through dividing Respiration cycle average by Pulse cycle average according to each standard including time section, $EEG(relative-{\alpha}$ density, $relative-{\beta}$ density, ${\alpha}/{\beta}$ and EMG. We analyzed these data through Gage R&R study using MINITAB 13.20 program and considered the results of below 30 %R&R and over 4 Number of Distinct Categories to have a significance. Results: 1. In the applying of time standard, Pulse-Respiration Ratio from section 3, 4, 6, 8 had a significant meaning in the aspect of Repeatability and Reproducibility. 2. In the applying of $EEG({\alpha}$ I , ${\beta}$ I , ${\alpha}/{\beta})$, EMG(E I) standard, there was no significant results. 3. In the applying of time standard(section 5, 6, 7), $EEG({\alpha}$ I , ${\beta}$ I , ${\alpha}/{\beta})$ and EMG(E I) standard simultaneously, Pulse-Respiration Ratio from ${\alpha}/{\beta}$ in section 6, ${\beta}$ I in section 8 had a significant meaning in the aspect of Repeatability and Reproducibility. Conclusions: We can suggest the Optimum Standard for Measuring Pulse-Respiration Ratio on the basis of Repeatability and Reproducibility as followings; 1. Pulse-Respiration Ratio Measuring time should be at least 15 minutes. 2. Applying of time(section 6, 8) and $EEG({\beta}$ I, ${\alpha}/{\beta})$ standard simultaneously is recommended considering reliability and validity but more study is needed. 3. EMG(E I) may be helpful to detect the segment of physical rest and exclude artifacts but more study is needed.

기공(氣功) 성향(性向)의 인식에 대한 수요조사 (A study on the Cognition of Qi-gong)

  • Objectives : In order to study the standardization of Qi-gong, and the important spread of education in Qi-gong, we investigated to the cognition of Qi-gong. Method : The descriptive investigation was accomplished to examine the level about the standardization of Qi-gong and the propensity with the Qi-gong training specialist, Qi-gong experience people and non-experience people on a national scale. The data of 572 question papers (140 specialists, 132 Qi-gong experience people, 300 non experience people) were analyzed. The period of the data collection was from Jun, 1, 2009 to Jun, 30, 2009. Result : The motives of Qi-gong participation were Qi-gong training and the individual health. The merit of Qi-gong was beneficial to health. The difficulties of Qi-gong training were the serial motion and doing training alone. And in order to popularize Qi-gong, the motion must simple and the spread of Qi-gong need. The reason of non-participation was the deficiency of the contact opportunity and the reason of participation was beneficial to health. In the future, the national policy for the activation of Qi-gong was the spread of the national exercise through the standardization of Qi-gong. Qi-gong was used in the side of the prevention and the principle of Qi-gong need the modern reinterpretation. And the effect of Qi-gong was more effective in musculoskeletal disease and the valuable part of Qi-gong was the health-longevity. Conclusion : With this, in order to develop the value of Qi-gong, the national support policy will be necessary. And the standardization of Qi-gong motion and program, the development of easy exercise, the educational prevalance, and publicity campaign will be necessary.
