Objectives : To determine the level of medicine in the Earlier Han period through 『Liushi Bing Fang』. Methods : Original texts were collected from previously published studies on 『Liushi Bing Fang』 and books to reconstruct the text of 『Liushi Bing Fang』. Results & Conclusions : 151 tablets out of the entire 213, a total of 4,084 characters out of the entire 9,000 were collected. This amounts to about 45% of the entire 『Liushi Bing Fang』. Based on this finding, we could summarize the following. First, the concept of Qi is used in the context of illness, indicating the usage of Qi as a medical concept to be much earlier than previously known, as it appears in a herbal treatment text. Second, on Blood, similarly to 『Wushier Bing Fang』 and 『Wuwei Handai Yijian』, it refers to the physical blood as well as name of disease. Moreover, the concept of stagnated blood is mentioned as 'neiyu(內瘀)' in 『Liushi Bing Fang』, meaning that the doctors of the time held this concept and also had the medicinal knowledge to treat this condition. Third, within 『Liushi Bing Fang』, there are contents on the body parts each medicinal mainly treats. This indicates to the understanding that not only were they at the level to connect each medicinals to its mainly applicable disease, but they were able to connect the herbal medicinals to the inner constructions of the body. Based on these findings, the first text to provide the base to the attributive channel theory of herbal medicinals, where each medicinal's properties and effects are connected to the Zangfu and body parts, needs to be newly acknowledged as 『Liushi Bing Fang』 instead of 『Shennongbencaojing』 as previously known.

In this study, Urban Climate Simulation was performed using 3-Dimensional Urban Canopy Model. The characteristics of urban thermal environment was analyzed by classifying land coverage and increasing natural land coverage ratio. The results are as follows. The characteristics of the land coverage on urban thermal environment formation can be summarized by the effects like higher temperature on the artificial coverage, and the contrary effects on the natural coverage. When the water coverage 100% was made up, maximum temperature was declined by $5.5^{\circ}C$, humidity by the 6.5g/kg, wind velocity by 0.6m/s, convective sensible heat by $400W/m^2$ and the evaporative latent heat was increased by $370W/m^2$ compared to when artificial coverage 100% was formed. These simulation results need to be constructed as DB which shows urban quantitative thermal characters by the urban physical structure. These can be quantitative base for suggesting combinations of the building and urban planning features at the point of the desirable urban thermal environment as well as analysing urban climate phenomenon.

1. Objectives It is necessary to find the psychological methods to treat not only physical but also mental problems. Because the Sasang Constitutional medicine is based on Mind-Body Medicine, so that the Nature and Emotion-Happiness, Anger, Sorrow, Pleasantness- have to be controlled properly. 2. Methods We analysed the characters of each constitutions, drama therapy and meditation and tried to find the suitable application of one for Sasangin. 3. Results and Conclusions Soeumin is feminine, easy to worry, pessimistic and non-active so they need to express their problems, be encouraged and participate to be one of a group having relationship with other people. Soyangin is out-going, easy to start, not enough to be aware of themselves so they need to relax, calm and try to have an insight into themselves. Taeumin is stable, easy to keep something so they need to communicate well with the exterior. Taeyangin is going forward, masculine and necessary to avoid being angry so they need to calm down and relax. Drama therapy is group work with actors, staffs and audiences so it is useful to express their negative feelings through motions, dances and sounds unless they talk. So it is supposed to be useful far Soeumin and Taeumin. And we can apply it to heal the Emotion because it is based on the relationship and the contact with other people. Meditation is helpful to not only concentrate, relax, have insight into themselves but also calm down anxiety, depression an anger. So it could be the best psychotherapy for Soyangin and Taeyangin. And we can apply it to reflect oneself alone to express their Nature adequately.

Rheumatoid arthritis patients not only suffer from the physical damage, but they are afflicted severely mental and psychologic after effects. Their depression and low self-esteem eventually yields serious mental damages, which makes difficult for them to recover. The states of mental health of arthritis patients are diversified depending on the characters and surrounding circumstances, although they may have suffered from the similar condition. Therefore this research was conbucted to the factors that can give positive influences to the patients. In recent time, social support for the arthritis patients has become an important factor that can positively influence their mental health. In other words, social support can act as an important environmental system for arthritis patients to recover their damaged mental health. In order to fulfill this purpose, 118 patients were examined to identify the relationship between the variables. The summary of the result obtained from the research is as follow: 1. The structural aspect of social support for arthritis patients showed the most of them had various social support network size and their highest support system were 'family', 'relative' and 'friends'. The functional aspect of social support for arthritis patients showed moderate degree and their highest sub component was 'approval'. 2. High correlation was found between duration of relationship, similarity, frequency of meeting and functional support. There was no relationship between depression, self-esteem and social support. 3. Therefore this research has suggested that nurses who care rheumatoid arthritis patient consider the above condition to develop self-help group.

This research is to study the economical, psychsocial, physical pains of the elderly mens living alone and the process being out of the isolated life. From this, we expect to propose a supportive program to help the living alone of the elderly mens. Six of the elderly mens living alone joined this research and the hermeneutical grounded theory methodology was applied to interpret it. Data were collected by the depth interview and various written records and they were analyzed by Rennie(2007)'s methodology. We could construct 13 categories by analyzing and categorizing meaningful units of the data. The core theme of the living alone experience was presented as "Accepting self-existence forgotten in the swamp of isolation and preparing for the blessed death." Based upon the research outcomes, we suggested a social supportive program considering the elderly men's characters and a way to improve the accessibility to the therapy system for the elderly mens living alone and the need for a meaning therapy.

Housing Re-Development business is to improve the environment of old residential area and secure insufficient infrastructure facilities for the public, and to provide housing of fine quality for the individuals and it is taken as an opportunity for the individuals to be able to increase their property. However, it is true that the benefits from the redevelopment has not offered to the original dwellers who has lived there for a long time. This research studies the related systems of the Rental House Redevelopment Supply Service and is to present the schema to raise resettlement rate through the investment on the rate of tenants who chose the rental house and their specific characters. This study is to present the reform measures about the following 3 problems, on the basis of prior theoretical studies which deals with the common factors having low rate to move in the rental house of the tenants. (1) Physical side, the problem of supply structure, which is not appropriate Housing Supply Structure, (2) Psychological side, the problem of socially excluded rental house residents (3) Economical side, low re-settlement rate of tenants caused from the unreasonableness of the estimated rental value. This study presents that the compulsory rental housing supply rate should be changed to the gross area not from the number of households, and the supply of rental houses should correspond to the household size of tenants through prior demand survey. Secondly, it proposes the housing complex layout for intermixing to solve the social problems to allow a housing for sale and rental houses mixing in a building. And it proposes that the rental value should be calculated considering the neighboring value and in the long run, it should be calculated considering the tenants' income instead construction cost estimate. Also, it should be arranged to provide an opportunity to create income through resident welfare center improvement and provide self-sufficiency functions leading residents to participate in the residential area's repairing and maintenances.

The silicone rubber implants are widely used in plastic surgery because of various advantages; however, calcification in surface of implant(as a chemical resistance) may transform or destroy the high molecular biomaterial when it stays too long within the human body. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between calcification and the histological disparities of the tissues surrounding the area adjoining the silicone nasal implant by examining the regional characteristics of calcium deposits in the silicone nasal implant via elemental analyses using EDX(energy-dispersive X-ray analysis) and ultrastructural analyses using SEM(scanning electron microscopy). The subjects of the study were 19 silicone nasal implants removed by revision rhinoplasty, all displaying calcification. According to the tissue characters, the implant surface was divided into 4 zones with the rhinion as the basis. For each zone, elemental and ultrastructural analyses were performed. Elemental analysis revealed that the calcium deposits consisted of Ca and P only. There were no statistically significant disparities among the ratios between Ca and P according to the zones. Ultrastructural analysis showed acellular mineral-like deposits coalesced to create amorphous deposits in all zones; however, in zones 1 and 3(more pressurized zones by periosteum or nasal bone), additional flaky cylinder-shaped calcium deposits were detected. Thus, it seems that the histological disparities in the surrounding tissues do not affect the components and their proportions in the calcification process. However, it can be inferred that the physical environment due to the histological disparities in the surrounding tissues affects the ultrastructures of calcium deposits.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to understand the theories about the psychophysiology and psychopathology of Korean Medicine. Methods: The concepts and functions of spirit (神), soul (魂魄), five spirits (五神), and seven emotions (七情) occurring in the Huangdineijing have been interpreted, and the correlation between thought and emotion considered. Results and Conclusions: (1) Spirit (神) refers to the source and discipline of vital activity and mental activity. (2) With soul (魂魄), ethereal soul (魂) manifests itself as the mental process, and corporeal soul (魄) as the physical sensory interaction, such as the nervous system. (3) In the five spirits, ethereal soul (魂) is the recognition process of drawing out memories. Spirit (神) is the process of creative thought. Cognition (意) is the ability to recognize and integrate information. Corporeal soul (魄) is the process of selecting what is important and choosing it. Will (志) is the process of storing memories. Ethereal soul (魂) and corporeal soul (魄) of the five spirits (五神) and soul (魂魄) use the same characters, but the meaning differs. Also, spirit (神) and the spirit (神) in five spirits (五神) are the same character, but, because the meaning is different, they need to be interpreted according to the context. (4) Heart (心), Cognition (意), Will (志), Thought (思), Consideration (慮), and Wisdom(智) are all cognitive processes, like perception, recognition, and thinking. (5) Psychopathology is when excessive emotion affects the five viscera, harming the Energy (氣) and Blood (血) and eventually affecting the five spirits, which causes problems in thinking. Therefore, for healthy mental functioning, not only must the emotions be regulated so that they do not become excessive, but the five viscera also need to be kept healthy.

Different from visible horror elements that confront the characters directly and do physical harms, invisible horror elements are expressed through suggestion and imagination and their realities are not disclosed. For the disclosure of the realities of invisible horror elements, they are expressed through the overturned relation between the subject and victim of horror as in 'The Others' or through body snatching as in 'The Happening' and 'Paranormal Activity'. The overturn of relation and body snatching are connected to cannibalism in that the former causes a sudden change of personality and the latter takes the body of others. Cannibalism and the change of personality belong to the formalization and illogic of lower order resulting from cannibalism. The meaning of invisible horror elements in films seems to be contradictory to the original meaning of cannibalism, which is entering the sphere of utopian freedom, but considering that the reversed role resolves conflicts and tensions from terror and gives relief from fear, the meaning may be consistent with the spirit of cannibalism, namely, entering 'the sphere of freedom. In this study, the author attempted to analyze how the expression and plot of films showing invisible horror elements are related with cannibalism.

Sex steroid hormones are key molecules to prepare the decidual response and their levels are important in this process. Imbalances of the levels of steroid hormones are cause of implantation failure and other diseases including physical weakness. Androgen replacement therapy or selective androgen receptor modulator are used to overcome various diseases but long-term use may cause of side effects. In previous report, it is suggested that the steroid hormonal complexes derived from pig enhance the proliferation of satellite cell. Therefore, to evaluate the possible usage of steroid hormonal complex derived from pig testis (tS-C), the effects of tS-C on uterine response were studied using the model of artificial decidua. tS-C did not disturb the rhythmical estrus cycle. Artificial-induced decidual response was normally induced in tS-C administered mice. The histological characters of the decidua of tS-C administered mice were not different from the vehicle. The expression patterns of molecular markers of decidua were not different between vehicle and tS-C group. Collectively these results suggested that tS-C does not disturb the uterine responsibility to the embryo. In addition, our results suggested that tS-C can be applied to overcome the various problems such as loss of muscle mass and anemia.
