  • In this paper, we present a vision algorithm and method for input image improvement and preprocessing of dented and raised characters on the sidewall of tires. we define optical condition between reflect coefficient and reflectance by the physical vector calculate. On the contrary this work will recognize the engraved characters using the computer vision technique. Tire input images have all most same grey levels between the characters and backgrounds. The reflectance is little from a tire surface. therefore, it's very difficult segment the characters from the background. Moreover, one side of the character string is raised and the other is dented. So, the captured images are varied with the angle of camera and illumination. For optimum Input images, the angle between camera and illumination was found out to be with in 90$^{\circ}$. In addition, We used complex filtering with low-pass and high-pass band filters to improve input images, for clear input images. Finally we define equation reflect coefficient and reflectance. By doing this, we obtained good images of tires for pattern recognition.

  • Harold Pinter's One for the Road(1984) is a play about violence. Nicholas, who appears to be the manager of a place, interrogates Victor, Nicky, and Victor's wife Gila in a room for one day from morning to night. There is no direct physical violence in this play. But hints about the atrocities that took place outside the stage make the audience guess the violence and cruelty. Violence, which is not seen as such, is the central theme of the play. One for the road is worth reading as a resistance to breaking the mirror of global ideology, not as it deals with violent events confined to Turkey. The problem which Pinter had in mind, in particular, is that the United States plays a leading role in producing world-class ideologies, and that Britain is involved in collusion with the United States in cultivating such ideological fantasies, both abroad and at home. This thesis analyzes the contrasting reactions of each character in the play based on this social context. In particular, the conflicting reactions of the characters on the system are the most important conflict in the drama. Nicolas is a manager who moves on the system without seeing the truth. Victor and his family, on the other hand, do not move within the same ideology as Nicholas. This paper will take a look at what their strategies of resistance is and how they are revealed in the work. In fact, Nicholas appears split. Nicholas seemingly reacted decisively to the interpellation of the system. He expresses his belief and respect for the legitimacy of his actions. However, he has repeatedly sought the respect and love of Victor. Nicholas is now swaying. The theme that Nicholas presents consciously by grabbing at his own sway is 'Patriotism.' But this fantasy splits through Victor's silence and death demands. Therefore, the questions to be answered are: So why does Nicolas appear to be torn apart in a system that directs violence? But why is he forced to assimilate into the system? What other figures imply? To answer these questions, this thesis will take Slavoj Zizek's view of ideology. On the other hand, there are previous studies that read the system of violence in One for the road from the Althusser's perspective. Surely, this play explores the role of Ideological State Apparatus. However, from the point of view of Althusser, it is not possible to read Nicholas's division and the point of resistance seen by Victor's family. Pinter does not limit the scope of the ideological system as a closed one that regenerates ideologies, but secures the domain of main body resistance and struggle. On the other hand, there are already several domestic theses that read Pinter's work in Zizek's perspective. But these theses are mainly focused on analysis of Mountain Language. What this thesis would suggest is that there is a potential for an ethical figure of Zizek to be considered in One for the Road.

  • Since ancient times, legends and tales have been handed down with a spirituality, shamanistic meaning, and imagination. Among many tales about people and animal footprints that are handed down in various parts of Korea, Changnyeong's 'Munhojang Footprint' is the first case in which the physical evidence(footprints) that the main character has left was identified as a dinosaur footprint. In this study, we performed a scientific analysis based on the basic data collection, distribution pattern of 'Munhojang Footprint', three-dimensional digital recording and visualization, as well as case analysis and humanitic review of footprints in tales and legends. The Munhojang Footprints has long been known as human footprints left in the natural rock due to its shape and preservation status. A new analysis that the Munhojang footprints (composed of 13 footprints) are dinosaur tracks shows social perceptions of the ancient people, characterized by the fear of supernatural beings and the limits of scientific interpretation. Through this scientific and humanistic exploration of Munhojang Footprint that are passed down from generation to generation as legends, pray for peace and well-being of the village through rituals and rituals every year, and have been preserved and managed as practical evidence, it is expected that traditional culture and natural heritage will be linked and mutual value will be enhanced.

  • The study noted the characteristics of the web novel's 'Book Travel' motif, which reflects the characteristics of popular culture content, which is free to use familiar genre grammar or code. The imagination of the main character entering the work he read in the real world is a reinterpretation of the existing genre grammar of the web novel, and studying the motif is meaningful in reviewing the intertext of the genre. This motif, summarized as 'Book Travel' differs from other genres in the romance fantasy genre, which can also be used to reveal the gender characteristics of the genre. The study noted that the 'Book Travel' motif was born from an interactive interpretation of existing narratives, thus having a affinity with dimensional shift, regression, and alternative historical objects, and referring to the writing norms of Fanfiction. Through this, it was predicted that the re-combination of existing narratives and interference between genres would continue in the future. Next, the original move in the romance fantasy genre was seen as quite conservative and revealing the logic of self-improvement even though people around him became the main characters and overthrew the narrative. The characters should use their knowledge of the future of the real world to fight in a world of survival where destruction has been predicted. The appearance of an ethical and self-help subject is interesting, but on the other hand, I could look at conservatism in that romance is a way of survival and achievement of characters. The research is meaningful in that it reviewed the characteristics of the original transfer motif, which started fairly quickly in the romance fantasy genre, and reviewed its appearance background and characteristics. There was a limit to the collection of physical works and limited platform. The above limits are intended to be supplemented by further reviewing and supplementing later works.

  • This thesis investigates the meaning of a performer's energy taking into an account of the full bodily engagement as the flow of energy and/or psychophysical readiness focusing specifically on the significance of qualitative bodily transformation. In this contemporary era, the dominance of performer training and its approaches to acting/training has very frequently meant that how to play a character in a textual based approach by emphasizing on interpreting and impersonating the role as real as possible. In this sense, as a performer trainer, from my observation and research findings shows that it is common for the term energy is not to be motivated by what a performer's body needs within a specific moment in specific performance which they are working on. To address the problematic issues, this thesis begins by interrogating the practical meaning of transformation with addressing the principle and process of movement by means of the flow of energy on stage. For a performer, inhabiting/integrating his/her body and mind as oneness and/or unity means s/he sincerely encounter, confront, and therefore listen to his/her body in here and now. Because since the performer's physical appearance completely defined his/her psychological state, no one can play either the past or the future in the moment. In this manner, an appropriate use of energy synonymous with the flow of energy correspondence with the given time and space in which the performer's body informs and initiates movement as necessary action. To be precise, the performer's bodily movement either visible or invisible in a sense of training and rehearsal is perceived as attaining or achieving psychophysical involvement as the full body engagement which enable to make the event happen in the right moment. Here, this thesis argues that the significance of a performer's inner intensity reminds us of the necessity of qualitative transformation on which the performer could discover his/her own mode of awareness as well as a way his/her body function in the given circumstance. From this point of view, this research finding would advocates that the performer's body maintains in the field of energy flow where his/her conscious effort and/or mindfulness disappear. The performer's movement is a manifestation of the whole bodily engagement by means of being as real in that moment rather than representing reality.

  • One of the interesting social phenomena in short-form video platforms is the hashtag challenge wherein ordinary users are encouraged to create by imitating short viral videos on a particular theme. Despite the increasing popularity of hashtag challenges, theoretical discussion on related user behavior is still very insufficient. In this study, we attempted to examine the impact of micro-influencers in order to understand users' willingness to participate in hashtag challenges. For this purpose, the para-social interaction theory and imitation behavior literature were adopted as key theoretical basis. In an empirical investigation using 243 survey data from TikTok users, our study found that a user's illusion of intimacy with a micro-influencer (i.e., para-social interaction) had significant positive impact on the intention to participate in a hashtag challenge. This study also showed that the degree of para-social interaction in a short-form video platform was determined by both media content-related factors and media character-related factors (i.e., content attractiveness, physical attractiveness, and attitude homophily). Our work in this study provided significant theoretical and practical implications on how to leverage micro-influencers for the success of hashtag challenges in a short-form video platform.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the views of Joseon held by Kano Jigoro, who was the creator of judo and spread the martial arts ideology across the world, to shed light on the fundamental essence of the martial arts ideology spread around Korea. Conducted in this perspective, the study generated the following results: first, Kano Jigoro grew up, receiving history education from classical scholars of Japan. He was accordingly influenced by the Seikanron, which argues that Empress Jingu, a mythical character, conquered Silla, Baekje and Gaya. The Seikanron became the basis of the Imna Ilbonbu theory during the Japanese rule and was projected onto martial arts ideas Jeongryeokseonyong and Jatagongyeong that were completed by Kano Jigoro and introduced into Joseon. Secondly, Kano Jigoro distributed and expanded the tale of statehood in the prism of martial arts ideology since the Meiji Restoration, which was possible because he connected his martial arts ideas to the statehood of Japan. As a result, they were used as the logic of Korea and Japan are One in Joseon unlike the rest of the world where they were applied as peace ideas. Finally, his martial arts ideology introduced into Joseon during the Japanese rule went through acculturation and showed the contradiction of being interpreted differently according to different individuals. Most Japanese people made use of his martial arts as a means of the Korea and Japan are One policy, whereas the pioneers of the Korean people excluded Kano Jigoro's view of state, included the nationalistic features in it, and trained their martial arts as a means of overcoming the national crisis.

  • Currently, existing car following models among several basic systems of advanced vehicle systems are almost developed related to the physical relation between two vehicles except for the driver's behavior or environmental factors. But the consideration of driver's character and environmental factors on driving are very essential factors for actual application. Hence, we suggested calibrating the degree of driver's discomfort on driving that is the former study to develop a new car following model of advanced vehicle to use in actuality. The degree of driver's discomfortness (Measure-of-Alarmness; MOA)is measured related to the relationship between the following vehicle and the preceding vehicle, the environmental factors and driver's characters in ubiquitous traffic. We made up questions to drivers to obtain the general and the objective measurement of driver's MOA. And the fuzzy logic model for measurement of MOA was constructed based on the results of survey. We verified the suitability of fuzzy logic model through the computation of MOA with several scenarios. And we measured the quantitative degree of driver's discomfortness on car following related to several factors which affect drivers. In accordance with this study, development of car following model applying driver's MOA will promote the actual application of advanced vehicle more effectively than the existing models. Finally, we thought the measurement of driver's MOA will be applied significantly to evaluate safety and comfort of drivers on driving.

  • This study describes the characteristics of distribution of lift-force acting under pier deck through physical experiment. The shape of peak wave pressure was sharp when compressed air existed but was not sharp without that. Values of lift-force was different between edge point and center point in the same block. Distribution of lift-force was expressed differently owing to dimensionless of deck length (l/L), wave steepness (H/L), clearance height per wave height (D/H). The dimensionless factor of D/H affected on the lift-force the clearance between still water surface and decks. This decided the maximum of lift-force. In the case of the same values of D/H, the lift-force are changed by the wave steepness (H/L). Because (D/H) become smaller as the wave steepness (H/L) is increased the height of decks must be decided with the condition which don't have the clearance with $D_{max}$ for the stable design of deck of pier. Effect of reducing lift force was greater in the on-shore than the off-shore according to compressed air existence. This researches points out that design of deck should retain compressed air in order to reduce wave lift force.
