Tilt Aberration Compensation Using Interference Patterns in Digital Holography

  • We present a numerical procedure that compensates for tilt phase aberration in in-line digital holography by computing the period of interference patterns in the reconstructed phase image. This method enables the reconstruction of correct and accurate phase information, even if strong tilt aberrations exist. Example applications of tilt aberration compensation are shown for a tilted plate, a micro-lens array, and a thin film transistor. This method is convenient because it uses only one hologram and no hardware to minimize the tilt aberration.

  • This paper proposes a control method for three-phase PWM rectifier with only single current sensor in DC link side. A PWM modulation strategy for reconstructing three phase currents from the DC link current is given. The states of the retifier switch are modified so that all phase currents can be reconstructed in a switching period although one or two of active vectors is applied only for a short time. Therefore, a new current control using an adjustment scheme of the modulation signal for three-phase PWM rectifier will be discussed, and verified the experimental results.

  • 본 논문은 직류측 센서만을 갖는 3상 PWM 정류기의 새로운 제어기법을 제안한다. 제어가 내부의 모텔전류와 시스템 전류의 편차를 영으로 제어하여 상전압의 크기와 위상을 추정하고 스위칭 상태와 직류링크전류로부터 상전류를 재구성한다. 제안한 상전압 빛 상전류 센서리스 기법을 PWM 정류기 시스템에 적용한 실험을 통하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다.

HRTEM영상 분석에 대한 IWFR 방법의 고찰 및 응용 (A Review of IWFR Method for HRTEM Image Analysis and Application)

  • Allen et al. (2004)에 의해 개발된 IWFR 방법에 대해서 응용성에 관심을 가지고 고찰되었다. 이 고찰에는 문헌에 보고된 GaAs, $YBa_2CuO_7$$Al_2CuMg$의 재료에 대한 HRTEM 연구물들이 이용되었다. 이 고찰 과정에서 이 방법의 타당성에 대한 이론적 근거, 제한조건 및 정보한계들을 명확히 제시되었다. IWFR 방법을 통해 얻은 결정 밑 표면에 전자 파동함수의 상(phase)-영상은 구면수차에 의한 영상 왜곡이 교정된 정보한계 범위 내에서 원자분해상을 나타낼 뿐만 아니라 결정의 구성원자의 원자번호에 대체적으로 비례하는 강도 분포를 나타내는 강한 경향이 있음이 특히 주목되었다.

  • As the minimum feature size for making ULSI approaches the wavelength of light source in optical lithography, the aerial image is so hardly distorted because of the optical proximity effect that the accurate mask image reconstruction on wafer surface is almost impossible. We applied the Optical Proximity Correction(OPC) on isolated patterns assuming Attenuated Phase Shift Mask(APSM) as well as binary mask, to correct the widening of isolated patterns. In this study, we found that applying OPC to APSM shows much better improvement not only in enhancing the resolution and fidelity of t도 images but also in enhancing the process margin than applying OPC to the binary mask. Also, we propose the OPC method of APSM for isolated patterns, the size of which is less than the wavelength of the ArF excimer laser. Finally, we predicted the resolution limit of optical lithography through the aerial image simulation.

복소공액 홀로그램을 이용한 디지털 홀로그래피 연구 (Study on Digital Holography with Conjugated Hologram)

  • 디지털 홀로그래피에서 재생상을 재생할때 복소공액 홀로그램을 도입하여 위상 왜곡과 잡음이 제거된 재생 영상을 얻는 방법에 대하여 연구하였다. 일반적으로 디지털 홀로그램은 시료의 위상 정보 외에 위상 정보에 겹쳐져 있어 잡음으로 작용하는 허상, DC항 뿐만 아니라 측정 시스템의 위상 왜곡 현상도 모두 포함되어 기록된다. 기록된 홀로그램에서 시료의 위상 정보만을 분리하여 이를 재생하면 질 좋은 위상 재생상을 얻을 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 복소공액 홀로그램을 이용하면 off-axis 및 in-line 홀로그래피에서 위상왜곡과 측정시스템이 가지고 있는 잡음을 제거 할 수 있음을 실험적으로 확인하였다.

  • To diagnose cardiac malfunctions, various imaging techniques have been applied to heart : DSA(Digital Subtracted Angiography), Doppler Ultrasound, MR Angio. But it is difficult to observe three dimensional heart motion which is the most intuitive tool for diagnosis, only by using these methods. In this research, we have suggested 4-Dimensional reconstruction scheme of heart motion images that can be acquired by ECG-gated cine MR imaging. One cardiac cycle was devided into $9\sim15$ phases and for each phase 3D reconstructed volumn heart was made. We can observe 3D volumns along the cardiac cycle, time. So the results were 4-D reconstructed data.

  • An electrical resistance tomography (ERT) technique combining the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm with the Gauss-Newton method is applied to the visualization of two-phase flows. In the ERT, the electrical conductivity distribution, namely the conductivity values of pixels (numerical meshes) comprising the domain in the context of a numerical image reconstruction algorithm, is estimated with the known injected currents through the electrodes attached on the domain boundary and the measured potentials on those electrodes. In spite of many favorable characteristics of ERT such as no radiation, low cost, and high temporal resolution compared to other tomography techniques, one of the major drawbacks of ERT is low spatial resolution due to the inherent ill-posedness of conventional image reconstruction algorithms. In fact, the number of known data is much less than that of the unknowns (meshes). Recalling that binary mixtures like two-phase flows consist of only two substances with distinct electrical conductivities, this work adopts the PSO algorithm for mesh grouping to reduce the number of unknowns. In order to verify the enhanced performance of the proposed method, several numerical tests are performed. The comparison between the proposed algorithm and conventional Gauss-Newton method shows significant improvements in the quality of reconstructed images.

  • 디지털 홀로그래피 현미경을 이용하여 반도체 공정에 사용되는 위상차 포토마스크의 결함을 측정하였다. 이러한 위상차 포토마스크는 위상차를 이용하여 반도체 문양을 만들기 때문에 일반 현미경으로는 패턴을 알 수 없을 뿐 아니라 위상마스크의 결함은 더욱더 찾기 어렵다. 디지털 홀로그래피 현미경을 이용하면 한 장의 홀로그램을 이용하여 위상차 포토마스크의 3차원 구조와 결함을 동시에 측정할 수 있다.

  • This paper proposes a single current sensor control technique for controlling motors that use only a single DC-Link current sensing resistor to obtain the information of three line currents. However, the measurement is distorted due to the too narrow current pulse width in the shunt resistor. To solve this problem, the existing phase current reconstruction methods are voltage split methods. They have a disadvantage which makes noise. A new dedicated observer is applied to decrease noise problem. Experimental results showed the effectiveness of the proposed method.
