인디 뮤지션의 삶과 직업 만족도에 관한 연구 (Evaluation of the Life and Job Satisfaction of Indie Musicians)

  • 인디뮤지션에 대한 사회적 의미와 관심이 높아지고 있음에도 불구하고, 인디뮤지션을 학술적인 차원에서 이해하기 위한 시도와 이들을 위한 제도적 평가는 미흡했다. 본 연구에서는 105명의 국내 인디뮤지션에 대한 온라인 설문 조사를 통해 이들의 음악 환경, 음악 활동의 특성, 인디뮤지션 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 대부분의 응답자들은 작업 시설과 50석 이상의 공연장 이용 기회가 부족하다고 평가한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 활동 경력이 6년 이상인 집단의 경우, 대형 공연장 공연 기회가 많으며, 음악 활동 횟수와 음악 활동 수입이 상대적으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 인디뮤지션의 만족도에는 음악활동 횟수, 사회적인 인정이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 인디뮤지션에 대한 지원제도는 다양한 영역에서 제공되는 지원이 서로 조화를 이루는 토대를 마련하는데 집중해야할 것이며, 정부가 모든 것을 해야 한다는 가부장적 사고를 버리고 다양한 부문과의 조율을 통해 인디뮤지션의 창작을 독려해야할 것이다.

여성 국극(女性國劇)과 다카라즈카 가극의 남장(男裝) 의상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Man Disguise's Clothes in the Female Kukkuk and Takarazuka Revue)

  • There is something common between the Korean female Kukkuk and the Japanese Takarazuka Revue in that actors are all females and love is the main theme. Some of the females should play men's roles, so they are described as ideal men and are more manly than real men, and female audiences are attracted by them. It is hard for actresses to play men's roles-they have to stretch open their shoulders, walk with long steps and produce a deep voice. They put on a makeup a little exaggeratedly to perfectly disguise themselves as men and express strong images-some red tone makeup on their face, thick eyebrows with their ends upward, thick eye lines to make eyes seem bigger and stronger, and thick side whiskers. On the contrary, a makeup for female characters is softer to highlight femininity with thin penciled hair parted and braided on the sides of the face. The Takarazuka Revue's students are divided into male characters and female ones from the regular course of music schools, and they select their roles in consideration of their height and range of voice, mainly based on their wish. In case of male characters, they need a long career and verification of ability to be the best. Females playing men's roles and showing their manliness are violation of a social custom standardizing the character of males and females and are the reverse of roles expected by a society or a culture. A world experienced by these plays is a kind of revolt breaking the taboo of the patriarchal system.

탈북인을 통해 본 북한의 시간생활 실태 및 남한과의 차이점 분석 (Analysis of Time Life in North Korean with the perspectives of Defectors)

  • The Purpose of this study is to scrutinize the time structure and time use pattern of North Korean and to identify the differences of time use patterns between South and North Korean Societies. To carry out this Purpose in-depth interviews with ten people who escaped from North Korea after 1990 and empirical survey with 158 subjects were conducted. The findings are as follows. The characteristics of time life of North Korean are uniform time use pattern in tightly scheduled daily life and shortage of disposable time and constraint of free time due to job related labor, extra job activities including learning, meeting and evaluation, and labor mobilization. Women are faced with heavy burden of doing job and housework in the continuing patriarchal way of thinking and in the circumstances of poor housing environment. In North, Leisure time is constraint and leisure facilities are poor and the concept of leisure is totally different as that of South. North Korean think leisure as connecting with work and education and as public sphere, not private sphere. I this context leisure is considered as means for the strengthening of the communist society. Differences in the perception of time life through defectors are as follows. In South, there are plenty of leisure time and man can control his own time. Man spend his free time for various activities, especially for cultural activities such as sports, recreation, eating out with families and spend time till late in the outdoors. This study revealed differences in many aspects of time life between South and North Korean societies. These results will provide useful informations for the overcome of differences of cultural life of South and North Korean societies and accomplishment of the real integration of two societies.

  • 후기 자본주의 재생산 국가 이론(state theories of reproduction of late capitalism)을 전개한 오페에 따르면(Offe, 1972), 뉴미디어 산업의 도입과 확대는 자본주의 국가가 체제를 재생산하기 위해 차용한 기제이다. 후기 자본주의 국가의 목표는 '자본 축적(accumulation)'과 '민주주의적 정당화(democratic legitimation)'이다. 본 논문은 90년대 후기 자본주의 국가의 현대적 역할과 케이블TV 산업의 상호관련성을 연구한 것이며, '국가주의(국가주도적 자본주의; state-led capitalism)'의 양상 변화로 집약된다. IMF 상황을 넘겨받은 김대중정부는 자본주의 재생산 기제 회복을 위해 시장 개입적 국가주의를 표면적으로 포기하였다. 또한 국가 기능과 정책 재조직, 신자유주의 방법론, 조합주의적 의사 결정, 통합방송법 제정 등을 통해 탈규제적 시장 경쟁주의를 확립시키고, 미디어 시장의 힘의 분산을 통해 시장과 시민 사회의 신뢰를 얻었다. 시장 구조 개혁은 다층적 국가주의를 확립시켰으며, 국가는 시장의 조직자, 육성자, 감독자, 규제자 역할을 통해 공통적 이해의 관리 주체로 자리잡았다.

감각적 사유와 이질적 주체 구성-종편의 탈북여성 재현의 정치 (How Media Constitutes North Korean Female Defectors to Disparate Subject)

  • 본 연구는 종편채널의 탈북여성 재현의 정치를 논의한다. 종편채널에서 등장하는 탈북여성출연자들은 자본주의 논리에 적극적으로 편승한 연성화된 사적 존재로 구축되며 대중적 시선에 맞추어 소비되는 이질적 주체가 된다. 그녀들은 내부의 경쟁구도와 증언을 통해 희화화되며 이질적 대상으로 강조된다. 또한 그녀들은 그동안 미디어 내에서 이방인들이 존재하던 공간을 보다 저렴한 비용과 쉬운 방식으로 대체하는 B급 출연자로 활용되면서 가부장적 체제에 순응하는 존재로 대상화된다. 종편채널들은 탈북여성출연자들을 지속적으로 이질적 대상으로 규정하여 이야깃거리를 생산해냄으로써, 보여지는 대상으로서의 그들에 대해 말하는 자격과 시간을 소유하는 방식으로 미디어 권력을 확보한다. 결국 탈북여성출연자들은 감각적으로 응시되는 소비의 대상일 뿐 '우리'로 병합될 수 없는 '그들'로 남는다.

캄보디아 결혼이주여성 부부의 결혼동기와 한국가정생활 경험 및 지원에 관한 사례연구 (A Study of the Korean Family Life and Marriage Motives, Support, and Experience of Cambodian Marriage Immigrants and their Husbands)

  • This study aims to identify the motives of Cambodian marriage immigrants and their spouses in order to determine the factors that are needed for them to experience a successful marriage and a happy family life in Korea. This study's findings have been achieved through in-depth interviews with 10 married Cambodian female marriage immigrants and nine of the women's husbands. The following factors play a key role. First, the social environment in Cambodia is generally less developed than it is in Korea. Therefore, the immigrants tend to easily adapt to the advanced culture they encounter in Korea. Second, the patriarchal culture in Korea seems to be changing. Thus, Korean females are more respected now than they have been in the past. The Korean mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law appreciate their daughters-in-law and are trying to be more caring rather than treating them with prejudice that, in the past, had been leveled against foreigners. These factors help the Cambodian immigrants adapt to the Korean culture. Third, multicultural family support centers have become the place where these marriage immigrants learn about Korean culture and socialize with other immigrants. The husbands of these women actively participate in marriage counseling and family counseling, and they are also willing to understand the complexity of a multicultural society and the importance of family.

40, 50대 비혼 여성의 결혼 및 가족 담론 (Marriage and Family Discourse of Ever-Single Women in their 40s and 50s)

  • This study attempted to achieve an understanding of how ever-single women in their 40s and 50s deconstructed and restructured on marriage and family. For this aim, this study adopted a qualitative method. The participants were 13 single women in their 40s and 50s who had never been married. In-depth individual interviews were carried out, focusing on ever-single women's views about marriage and family. The result of theme analysis indicated that the participants considered marriage as an unfavorable lifestyle for women. The participants could be split into two types based on their perspectives on marriage. The first type had a universal concept of marriage. In other words, they believed that when they growup, they should be married women. The other type had a negative concept of marriage because of their parents'unhappy marriage. Despite their view of marriage, all of the participants recognized marriage as a patriarchal structure. Also, they had a strong sense of responsibility to their original families. They had a broad definition of family, so they considered their parents, siblings, and siblings' family members as their family. In addition, they interacted with their families, especially their mothers, who did not have control over their lives but supported them and showed interest in their lives. Like this, the participants maintained their views of married life and family without changing after their single status and had close relationships with their family members.

경제적 관계의 세계화와 복지국가 발전에 대한 논의 : 독일 페미니즘의 전략을 중심으로 (Globalisation, German Welfare State and Strategy of Feminism)

  • The purpose of this study is to formulate the way of the feminist strategy in Germany which is to change in the process of the globalization in the economic relations. The radical feminism which is the main streaming of german feminism shows a little interest in the role of the german welfare state (social state) to improve the quality of life of women. The german welfare state is, as the feminism says, only a instrument of patriarchy to perpetuate the domination of men over women. The german welfare state has played, but, an important role for the individualization of the relation of women's life which is the first condition for the emancipation of women from the patriarchal domination. That is a result of the interaction between the german welfare state and feminism. The role of the german welfare state for the interest of women is now challenged by the globalization of the economic relations which tries to reduce the standard of social services. The greatest victim of this process is women. Therefore it is necessary for the german feminism to think over the way of his strategy in relation to the german welfare state. The content of this study is as follows: First, the historical background of the german feminism explains how the radical feminism has become the mainstreaming of the german feminism. Seconds, the feminist strategy which rejects the role of the german welfare state for the interest of women has its own limits. Third, the german welfare state has not only developed the ideology of breadwinner but also contributed to the beginning of independent life of woman who were under the control of man. Fourth, the german welfare state is challenged by the economic globalization and being changed by the economic globalization. Fifth, therefore, the feminism has to concentrate to develop a strategy which accepts the limit and the possibility of german welfare state.

'집'의 정치학-레너드와 버지니아 울프의 출항 (The Politics of Home: Leonard and Virginia Woolf's Voyage Out)

  • I hope to demonstrate in this paper the degree to which the works of Leonard and Virginia Woolf, mainly The Wise Virgins, The Village in the Jungle, and The Voyage Out, are contained within the politics of home. In doing so, I aim to challenge some mainstream criticism that affirms their resistance to British imperial desire. Although their statuses as outsiders in the British Empire, being a Jew and being a woman respectively, allowed Leonard and Virginia Woolf to criticize British imperialism and a male-dominated culture as well as racial and cultural hierarchies to a degree, their works inevitably unveil their prioritization of the British white-oriented space. In some ways their authorial positions in relation to their texts uphold the imperial center as an invisible regime of truth in their narratives, supporting the patriarchal and imperial binary oppositional structure and its hierarchical order imposed not only on the British subject but also on the foreign, colonial others. Leonard's and Virginia's inconsistencies and ambiguities betray their racial distantiation and notions of British white superiority, as disclosed in their racially stereotyped descriptions and the absence of real communication between the British characters and the colonial, foreign others. The work of self-repetition, the major mechanism in the politics of home, dies hard in Leonard's and Virginia's 'antiimperial' works. Leonard's and Virginia's struggle to stand against the imperial desire needs a genuine ethical position in order to embrace the Other, which would allow us to explore further and guard against the pitfall of postcolonial criticism's being easily degenerated into a neo-colonial criticism, another politics of home.

여성결혼이민자의 사회서비스이용 결정 연구 : 개인차와 환경의 조절효과 중심 (Moderating Factors associated with Relationship between perceived Needs and Social Service Utilization among Female Marriage Immigrants)

  • 여성결혼이민자와 그 가족을 위해 많은 예산과 자원이 사용되었음에도 불구하고, 서비스가 실제 도움을 필요로 하는 개인에게 전달되어지는지에 대한 보다 기초적 확인은 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구는 한국어교육 및 한국생활지원에 대한 욕구를 지닌 여성결혼이민자가 다문화가족지원센터를 이용하는데 있어서 영향을 미치는 조절 요인을 규명하고, 향후 다문화 가족지원센터의 정체성과 역할에 대한 실천적 정책적 함의를 제시하는데 의의가 있다. 이를 위해 2015년에 실시한 전국 다문화가족실태조사 자료를 분석하였고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 한국어 구사능력이 좋은 사람은 한국생활에 어려움이 있을 경우 다문화가족지원센터를 이용할 가능성이 높으며, 한국어 구사능력이 상대적으로 떨어지는 이민자는 욕구의 유무와 관계없이 센터를 이용할 가능성이 높았다. 둘째, 배우자와의 관계에 만족할수록 센터이용 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났으나 조절효과는 검증되지 않았고, 반면 한국인 배우자의 가부장적 태도의 조절효과는 유의미하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과에 따라 여성결혼이민자의 사회서비스 이용을 촉진하기 위한 구체적이고 실질적인 제언을 제시하였다.
