Virtual Seat Method를 이용한 승용차량 시트의 정차시 진동에 대한 승차감 평가 (Evaluation of Ride Comfort of the Passenger Vehicle Seat on Idle Vibration by Virtual Seat Method)

  • Virtual seat method(VSM) which is an evaluation method combined objective and subjective process is used in this study in order to determine seat comfort index of idle vibration of passenger vehicle. The VSM is implemented by two steps which are for objective index in the first step and for subjective estimation in the second step. In the study, two seats mounted on passenger vehicle was compared in terms of dynamic seat comfort by six subjects employed for the VSM method as well as SEAT value which is a conventional objective method. It is concluded that the dynamic comfort index by the VSM is more reliable than the SEAT value thanks to adding subjective evaluation on top of the objective result.

  • 본 연구는 유압식 자동차고 조절장치 개발 및 상기장치를 일반 상용차에 적용시키기 위한 것이다. 운전자의 승차감에 영향을 줄 진동특성을 주행시험을 통하여 파악하고자 하였다. 유압식 자동차고 조절장치는 현재 승용차에 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 맥퍼슨 형식의 형태로 설계되었다. 맥퍼슨 형식의 순정현가장치, 튜닝현가장치, 유압식 자동차고 조절장치를 장착한 차량으로 시험을 수행하였다. 자동차에 전달되는 진동특성은 랜덤형태이므로 PSD(Power Spectrum Density)값을 비교하였다.

  • Recently, the nano-PM's number concentration emitted by diesel internal combustion engine has focused on attention because this particulate matters are suspected being hazardous of human health. In this study, The nano-PM mass and size of diesel passenger vehicles were measured on chassis dynamometer test bench. The particulate matters(PM) emissions of these vehicles were investigated by number concentration too. A condensation particle counter(CPC) system was applied to measure the particle number and size concentration of diesel exhaust particles at the end of dilution tunnel along the NEDC(ECE15+EUDC) and CVS-75 vehicle test mode. As the research result, the characteristic of vehicle test mode on the diesel nano-particle number and size distribution was investigated in this study.

  • 본 연구에서는 노면의 요철에 의한 차량의 동적반응을 구할 수 있도록 국내의 소형 승용차를 모델로 현가장치의 비선형성을 고려한 전체 10 자유도의 동역학적 모델 을 개발하였다. 모델을 개발함에 있어서 기본적으로 실차의 모든 요소들을 모델링하 려고 노력하였으며 그 이유는 본 연구에서 개발된 모델이 실차의 현가장치 부품 설계 에 사용되도록 하기 위함이다.

  • Invisible passenger airbag door system of hard panel types must be designed with a weakened area such that the side airbag will deploy through the instrument panel as like intended manner, with no flying debris at any required operating temperature. At the same time, there must be no cracking or sharp edges in the head impact test. If the advanced airbag with the big difference between high and low deployment pressure ranges are applied to hard panel types of invisible passenger airbag (IPAB) door system, it becomes more difficult to optimize the tearseam strength for satisfying deployment and head impact performance simultaneously. It was introduced the 'Operating Window' idea from quality engineering to design the hard panel types of IPAB door system applied to the advanced airbag for optimal deployment and head impact performance. Zigzab airbag folding and 'n' type PAB mounting bracket were selected.

  • Electronic devices in railway vehicle perform various functions such as not only braking and propulsion but also monitoring of vehicle condition, on-line diagnosis, and passenger information service, etc. These devices, distributed in vehicle, should be efficiently connected so as to properly perform the functions. IEC (International Electro-Technical Commission) standardized train communication network (TCN) as IEC 61375-1, -2. TCN can reduce the interconnecting work load by reducing the number of wire-line, compared with existing hard-wire connection, and it brings the efficient control by enabling various devices to share the information. But existing TCN can not satisfy the increasing service demands like passenger internet access and CCTV surveillance, etc. In this paper, we investigate ECN (Ethernet Consist Network) and ETN (Ethernet Train Backbone) which are proposed to satisfy these demands and in the process of standardization by IEC TC9 WG43.

하이브리드 승용차용 전자식 무단변속기의 개발 (Development of Electronically Controlled CVT for Hybrid Passenger Car)

  • In this paper, the details of electronically controlled CVT is described , which Kia Motor company recently developed in prototype form for hybrid passenger car. This transmission has two input shafts, one for engine and the other for traction motor. The shaft for traction motor is located at rear side which is extended from primary pulley shaft and connected to traction motor through adapter gear box. Adopting two input system, various driving mode is available such as motor alone driving in hybrid vehicle application. As far as electrohydraulic system concerned , this transmission uses two bleed type variable force solenoids for line pressure and ratio control, and one on-off solenoid for clutch control. Another feature for this transmission is that oil pump for transmission is separate from CVT for supplying oil pressure even at vehicle standstill.

  • This paper presents vibration control performance of a passenger vehicle featuring magneto-rheological (MR) suspension units. As a first step, a cylindrical shock absorber is designed and manufactured on the basis of Bingham Property of a commercially available MR fluid. After verifying that the damping force of the shock absorber can be controlled by the intensity of magnetic field(or input current), it is applied to a full-car model. An optimal controller is then formulated to effectively suppress unwanted vibration of the vehicle system. The control performances are evaluated via hardware-in-the-loop simulation(HILS), and presented in both time and frequency domains.

  • For a panel contribution of the passenger vehicle compartment, a model was created for acoustic analysis of the passenger vehicle compartment and through the acoustic normal modal analysis, frequencies and mode shapes of the resonance modes were calculated. Also, the contribution analysis of each panel was executed using acoustic reciprocal theorem, and through this analysis, normalized responses at the particular point indicate the relative contribution of each panel for generating noise and vibration

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the parameters of the suspension system in railway rolling-stock for KT-23 type passenger vehicle. According to the results of simulation and the field test, Optimal condition was obtained for the stiffness ratio of the primary spring and the secondary of the suspension system. When the stiffness ratio was increased, the vibration was increased on the car body and decreased on the bogie, and ride quality are getting worse because of increase of the vertical natural frequency of the car body. The results of this study are usefull to improve the technology of the ride quality of KT-23 type vehicle.
