룸바 쿠카라차 동작의 운동학적 분석 (Kinematics Analysis of Rumba Cucarachas Motion)

  • The purposes of this study to provide quantitative data in necessary to advance techniques kinematic analysis of Cucarachas which is an action of Rumba. Then, this study is performed on 5 female players who have won within the third prize at a national athletic meeting. When whole foot reached to floor, Displacement of right-left hip joint (until $E1{\sim}E3$ average moved 15.15cm)is found at right-left direction since the hip joint is turned to right back. On the other side, large displacement is shown because Rumba Cucaracha Movement is expressed by maximum shift of hip joint to right and left direction. Displacement of right hip joint(E3$57.40{\pm}7.46$) is found in front and in rear direction since hip joint is moved in rear and in front to turn the hip joint. It may be stated that this is ideal displacement expressed by movement of whole body with artistic poise and presentation because role of hip joint is very important in technical and artistic side. Angle of right shoulder joint E2($105.44{\pm}9.64$) is got wider. It may be stated that player shifts up and abduct elbow joint to right since center of gravity of player is exceedingly shifted to right in this motion of Cucarachas. On the other hand, since this motion is abducted right elbow and shrunk external abdominal oblique to him center of body to left front of hip joint, the angle becomes narrow. It is shown that angle of knee in right knee joint E4($75.44{\pm}2.61$) is large since right leg and hip joint is turned by foot using reaction of ground and so center of body is shifted to left. Large angle of ankle E4($134.40{\pm}10.50$) in Cucaracha Movement is shown by the action of twist force using narrow part of foot and compression force against ground with adduction speed of arm. The various kinematic analyses associated with motions of dance sport have not been sufficiently peformed so far, and thus a number of research projects for dance sport should be proposed and performed to be continuous.

이족보행로봇의 횡보행 경로생성을 위한 시뮬레이터 연구 (Study on a Simulator for Generating Side Walking Path of the Biped Walking Robot)

  • A research on a simulator for a side walking path of a 16 degree-of-freedom (d.o.f) biped walking robot(BWR) which is composed of 4 d.o.f upper-part body and 12 d.o.f lower-part of the body is presented. For generation of stable side walking motion, the kinematics, dynamics and the zero moment of point(ZMP) of the BWR were analyzed analytically and included in the simulator. To operate the motion simulator for stable side walking of the BWR, a graphic user interface program was developed which needs inputs for the side distance between legs, base joint angle, walking type, and walking velocity. The simulator was developed to generate joint angle data of legs for side walking, and the data are transmitted to the BWR for stable side walking. In the simulator, a new path function for smooth walking motion was proposed and applied to the simulator and actual motion of a BWR. Also for actual side walking, an algorithm for estimating backlashes of the actuating joint motors was proposed and included in the simulator. To validate the performance of the proposed motion simulator, the simulator was operated and its side walking data of the simulator were generated for a period of side walking.

분기부(分岐部) 장대(長大)레일화시의 축력거동특성(軸力擧動特性) 해석(解析) (The Parameter Study on the Characteristics of Axial Force in Turnout with Continuous Welded Rail)

  • This paper is to study the characteristics of axial force behavior that operates to the part of turnout when it makes the turnout and the continuous welded rail unifying. The study is to model by using the 50kgN rail No. 15 turnout used in the domestic national railway and the UIC60 rail No. 18 turnout used in the rapid transit railway as the finite elements for analyzing the axial force behavior of the turnout by the continuous welded rail. It is to analyze the characteristics of behavior according to the change of creep resistance, ballast resistance and the change of parameter valuables of heel joint by the axial force simulation in making the continuous welded rail and then, it is to present the result. As the result of research on the parameter valuables through the analysis, it shows that the maximum axial force of turnout by the continuous welded rail are largely subordinated to the maximum resistance of heel joint and the fitting devices than the ballast resistance. Also it shows that the maximum axial force produced changes a lot according to the characteristics of creep resistance of the fitting part and the ballast resistance.

자동차 드라이브 샤프트와 액슬 시스템의 트라이볼로지적인 특성에 관한 고장사례 고찰 (Failure Examples Study for Tribological Characteristics of Drive Shaft and Axle System in Vehicles)

  • This study examined the tribological characteristics of the drive shaft and axle system in vehicles. The first drive shaft example contained end play for a CV joint that transferred part of the transmission power to the wheel. The joint part of the drive shaft was deformed because of reduced durability due to wear. Thus, vibrations caused the body to shake and become unbalanced when the drive shaft transferred the power. The second example was the cross-section of a shaft that connected the slip-connection of the propeller shaft on the input side to the yoke flange of the output side; the durability was reduced because of corrosion. End play caused by wear between the bearing and cross-section shaft appeared to cause shaking. In the third example, a grease leak reduced lubrication and thus caused damage to the hub bearing and inside the knuckle. The failure was produced by sticking. The fourth example had noise produced by the gear and gear transfer. This was due to the backlash of the pinion and few ring gears for the differential gear. Therefore, drive shaft and axle systems must be thoroughly checked and managed to minimize and reduce failure phenomena.

치과용 납착 방법에 따른 금합금 납착 연결부의 인장 결합강도 비교 연구 (A comparative study on the tensile bonding strength of gold alloy solder joints by dental soldering method)

  • In this study, to provide the fundamental data on stable connection method for successful implants prosthesis, We fabricated the solder joint of gold alloy bar specimens by gas flame soldering method and laser welding and soldering method. It compared and studied the tensile strength of two soldering method by universal testing machine. The results using universal testing machine were as follow : The mean of tensile strength of solder joint bar in gas flame soldering method specimens was 363.89 $\pm$17.62 MPa, and the mean strength of laser welding and soldering method was 125.91 $\pm$ 19.66 MPa, so gas flame soldering method was better than laser welding and soldering method and the finding better way to improve tensile strength is needed in laser welding method. On weak loading condition and the part which is needed an accuracy, laser welding method is more effective and on long-span prosthesis and frequent chewing loading part, laser welding technique is recommended first and applying additional gas flame soldering technique would be better for making much more successful prosthesis.

탄성 조인트로 연결된 이중 꼬리 지느러미 오스트라키폼 물고기 로봇의 추진력 해석 및 조인트 위치가 추력에 미치는 영향 (Analysis on the Propulsion Force of an Ostraciiform Fish Robot with Elastically Jointed Double Caudal Fins and Effect of Joint Position on the Propulsion Force)

  • A simplified linearized dynamic equation for the propulsion force generation of an Ostraciiform fish robot with elastically jointed double caudal fins is derived in this paper. The caudal fin is divided into two segments and connected using an elastic joint. The second part of the caudal fin is actuated passively via the elastic joint connection by the actuation of the first part of it. It is demonstrated that the derived equation can be utilized for the design of effective caudal fins because the equation is given as an explicit form with several physical parameters. A simple Ostraciiform fish robot was designed and fabricated using a microprocessor, a servo motor, and acrylic plastics. Through the experiment with the fish robot, it is demonstrated that the propulsion force generated in the experiment matches well with the proposed equation, and the propulsion speed can be greatly improved using the elastically jointed double fins, improving the average speed more than 80%. Through numerical simulation and frequency domain analysis of the derived dynamic equations, it is concluded that the main reason of the performance improvement is resonance between two parts of the caudal fins.

  • To detect partial discharge of 154kV joint box, we have made experiment by using the Al-foil electrode sensor. Generally the signals which are detected in partial discharge test of underground power transmission cable are accompanied with both noises of high voltage and noises of surrounding power cable. The most noise in near to end part of joint box is corona, beside other noises flowed from surrounding area. Partial discharge test is difficulty due to these noises. First, we had used Al-Foil sensor on middle joint box of 154[kV] underground transmission power cable, and then analysed reliability of calibration signal by using the Al-Foil electrode sensor of NJB. From above results, decrement properties measured highly. But incase of injecting calibration signal of 500[pC] after measuring signals in IJB, the S/N ratio had about 25[dB] acquisition.

  • To overcome disadvantages of usual spread foundation in large space structure, some prototypes of a joint of the PHC pile to steel pipe column that directly connects a column to a PHC pile are analytically studied. With the consideration of strength requirement and stress concentration of joint of the PHC pile to column, we suggest the most appropriate one.

  • Behaviour of a thread joint of a rocket motor case show complex structural characteristics. Pre-torque must be applied to the threads to prevent the loosening of the interface from the additional pressure load. During the pressurization of the rocket motor case, the jointing face may be opened if the pre-torque were not set properly or the structure may be failed if the local concentrated stress exceeds the strength of the material. In this paper, the structural behaviour of a thread joint of a rocket motor case were analyzed by the finite element method and the results were compared to the experimental ones. A method to set a pre-torque for a thread joint were proposed to ensure the structural safety.

TOUGH2 code를 이용한 처분장 절리암반 내 벤토나이트 완충재의 포화도 변화 (Numerical simulation for variations of water saturation in bentonite buffer under the effect of a rock joint using the TOUGH2 code)

  • 본 연구는 국제공동연구인 SKB Task 8에 대한 간단한 소개와 더불어, Task 8a 모델문제를 중심으로 유한차분과 유한체적법의 복합적 해석코드(integrated finite difference method)인 TOUGH2를 이용하여 벤토나이트 완충재와 현장암반의 수리학적 거동특성을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 벤토나이트-암반의 상호작용을 중심으로 현장암반의 절리유무에 따른 완충재 내의 압력분포 변화 및 재포화 특성을 분석하였고, 벤토나이트 고유 특성인 높은 모세관 압력과 현장암반 내 절리영향을 TOUGH2 코드를 통해 성공적으로 구현하였다. 연구결과, 현장암반 내 절리를 고려함으로써 완충재의 포화속도는 약 2.5~12배 가량 차이가 발생하였으며, 무결암 및 절리암반 모두 완충재의 하단부가 상단부에 비해 포화속도가 상대적으로 빠르게 진행되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과는 고준위폐기물 처분공 내의 완충재 설계와 관련하여, 완충재 포화 시기예측 및 최적 소요두께 결정 등에 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.
