Purpose: Steatocystoma multiplex is a hamartomatous malformation of the pilosebaceous duct junction. It is not common and inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern. But numerous non-hereditary cases have been reported. The neck is an unusual site in steatocystoma multiplex. Methods: A 23-year-old woman was found to have multiple yellowish papules, which had developed on anterior surface of her neck for 10 years. Results: There was no similar lesions on any other parts of the body. Histopathological examination revealed an intricately folded cyst wall consisting of several epithelial layers and flattened sebaceous gland lobules close to the cyst wall, which were typical of steatocystoma multiplex. Conclusion: We describe an unusual case of steatocystoma multiplex localized on the neck.
Angiokeratomas represent vascular lesions and are histologically characterized by superficial dermal vascular ectasia with overlying epidermal hyperkeratosis. Angiokeratoma circumscriptum is one of five types in the group of the angiokeratomas. The lesion is present from birth but may appear in childhood or adulthood. Angiokeratoma circumscriptum is typically hyperkeratotic papules or nodules situated unilaterally on the foot or distal aspect of the leg, but can occur elsewhere on the body. Isolated tongue involvement is very rare. We report a 12-year-old boy with angiokeratoma circumscriptum of the posterior dorsal tongue with a review of the literatures.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to search liquid that mixing with powder drug on acnes disease. Conclusions : Out of acne patients who visited Oriental Medicine Hospital of Han-Seo University during December 2002 - February 2003, four female and five male were treated over four weeks. The average age were 21.44 years old. Before treatment, acne patients were sparsely with papules at the forehead, cheeks, lower jaw. After treatment during four weeks, seven acne patients change for the better, 77.8$\%$(mild improved 55.5$\%$, improved 11.1$\%$, much improved 11.1$\%$)
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report effectiveness of MY1-Hwan(MYH) on wart patients. Methods: Seven wart patients who wanted to treat wart with Korean medicine took MYH 2~3 times a day for 2~4 months without external treatments. Results: Nodules or papules of wart were vanished from seven patients' lesion. Specific side effect was not shown. Conclusions: MYH was effective to treat seven wart cases. However, seven cases are not enough to figure out the various effects of MYH and the effectiveness on other kind of wart. So follow-up studies are needed based on this study.
Syringoma is a benign eccrine sweat gland tumor that predominantly appears in females during puberty with multiple smooth papules measuring 1-2 mm in diameter. Common locations are on lower eyelids and cheeks. Vulvar syringoma is quite a rare, occurring condition with only a few cases reported. Here, we are reporting a case of 31-year-old female with vulvar syringoma associated with pruritus. The lesion was treated with carbon dioxide (CO2) laser ablation and 50% trichloroacetic acid (TCA) chemical peeling. Jaungo was used for wound care after laser abrasion. The combination treatment was effective for removing syringoma lesions. Post laser management with fusidic acid cream and jaungo cream was sufficient to prevent infection and promote wound healing.
Three neonatal pigs from the same litter in a domestic farm were born with skin lesions. Grossly, multiple well-circumscribed, round papules distributed over the skin of the three piglets. Two piglets were submitted for a diagnosis of skin disease. Microscopically, epidermal hyperplasia with ballooning degeneration of stratum spinosum keratinocytes was observed. Some keratinocytes contained eosinophilic intracytoplasmic inclusions and a central nuclear vacuole and chromatin margination. Swinepox (SWP) virus was detected by polymerase chain reaction and nucleotide sequencing, and Staphylococcus hyicus was isolated in skin lesions. Based on the gross findings and laboratory results, these piglets were diagnosed with congenital SWP with a secondary staphylococcal infection.

Acne vulgaris is a common inflammatory skin disease of the pilose-baceous unit. It appears as lesions consisting of comedones, papules, pustules, and nodules of varying shapes and severity. In general, the first-line treatment for acne vulgaris includes topical and oral medication. Recently, various physical modalities have also been investigated. The use of laser therapy is steadily increasing because of its fewer side effects, short procedure time, and rapid results. In particular, laser therapy assisted with carbon suspension application is effective for acne vulgaris but may sometimes result in discomfort due to odor and dust formation during the procedure. Herein, we report that acne vulgaris and enlarged facial pores can be safely and effectively treated with laser therapy assisted with diamond particle suspension and gold microparticle application, which can address the discomfort caused by the carbon suspension application.
An outbreak of dermatosis occurred at a machine manufacture factory in Kyongju on Aug 1995. Authors conducted a questionnaire ,survey among 92 workers in the factory and a dermatologist examined their skin lesions. Authors also collected moths and identified them. The results are as follows; 1. Forty-two cases of dermatosis were identified with attack rate of 45.7%. Attack rate was not different by company, age, sex, educational level and duration of employment. Attack rate was 47.8% among productive workers, 25.0% among clerical workers and 100.0 % among patrolmen. 2. Two cases among 42 dermatosis cases and three subjects among 50 non-cases had a history of same dermatosis last year. Four of dermatosis cases had a history of dermatosis among their family members. 3. Skin lesions of the cases were scattered or grouped rice-sized erythematous papules or vesicles. Duration of dermatosis from the onset to the time of survey was from one day to more than 30 days. The most frequent site of skin lesion was the arms(81.0 %), and it was also observed at the neck(47.6 %), abdomen(45.2 %), chest(42.9 %), legs(38.1 %) and back(35.7 %). Skin lesion was aggravated with sweating(31.0 %), after shower(16.7 %) and with scratching(11.9 %). 4. Moths were collected and identified as Euproctis subflava (Bremer). Many poisonous stings were observed on their wngs which is harmful to human. 5. Contact with moths' wing droppings to two authors on thier forearms for provocation resulted in severe immediate pain followed by prolonged pruritus. Erythematous macules quickly appeared and succeeded by firm wheal-like red papules. Authors thought that the outbreak of dermatosis was brought about by Euproctis subflava (Bremer). Further studies on the factors contributing to the prosperity of the moths in this area are needed.
An about 5-month-old, female rabbit was presented with pruritus, alopecia and mucopurulent ocular discharge. On physical examination mild to moderate scales on whole body were observed. Dermatological lesions such as alopecia, erythema, papules, pustules and crusts were observed in the eyelids, nose, inner pinna, medial sites of four feet, metacarpal and metatarsal areas, and cranial site of left stifle joint. Also, mild conjunctivitis, blepharitis and keratitis were found. For extensive dermatologic diagnostic evaluation skin scraping, tape stripping, impression smear, combing, wood' light, bacterial culture and fungal culture were performed. Finally, Cheyletiella spp. was found by combing. Many heterophils and eosinophills were appeared in impression smear. The result of fungal culture was negative. Pasteurella spp was cultured. Definitive diagnosis of Cheyletiellosis and secondary Pasteurella spp infection were established. The rabbit was treated with 6 mg/kg of selamectin topically every two weeks and restricted in cage for one month. During one month of initial treatment, clinical signs such as pruritus, alopecia, scales, papules, pustules and crusts were remarkably improved. However, in spite of good therapeutic response of selamectin the rabbit was dead suddenly at 22 days after second administration of selamectin. This case showed that selamectin was possibly effective for cheyletiellosis in rabbit; safety of selamectin for rabbit was not identified.

A 6-month-old, male, American cocker spaniel was presented with severe pruritus, alopecia and head shaking. In physical examination generalized erythema, papules, scales and crust were observed. Otic discharge was dark-brown colored in both ear canals. After extensive dermatologic diagnostic evaluations, the infestation of scabies, ear mites, Malassezia spp, cocci were proved. Therefore, he was treated with selamectin 6 ㎎/㎏ which was applied to the skin in a single spot twice a week for 2 weeks in order to investigate the effect of selamectin on canine scabies and ear mites by this treatment protocol. When he was rechecked at 14th day after fourth being administered, scabies and ear mites wasn't seen. The dermatological signs, pruritus, papules were remarkably decreased and only slight scales were observed. After treatment of scabies and ear mites, the clavamox and koto-conazole was administered for cocci and Malassezia spp, respectively, for 1 week and topical therapy was initiated. with sebolytic and chlorhexidine shampoo once a week for 3 weeks. Two months later skin lesions were normal dermatologically and the hair was fully recovered. Despite of the expensiveness the selamectin is very effective in the dogs that infected by scabies and ear mites as this treatment protocol.
