This data mining technique was used to extract useful information from percutaneous coronary intervention data obtained from the US public data homepage. The experiment was performed by extracting data on the area, frequency of operation, and the number of deaths. It led us to finding of meaningful correlations, patterns, and trends using various algorithms, pattern techniques, and statistical techniques. In this paper, information is obtained through efficient decision tree and cluster analysis in predicting the incidence of percutaneous coronary intervention and mortality. In the cluster analysis, EM algorithm was used to evaluate the suitability of the algorithm for each situation based on performance tests and verification of results. In the cluster analysis, the experimental data were classified using the EM algorithm, and we evaluated which models are more effective in comparing functions. Using data mining technique, it was identified which areas had effective treatment techniques and which areas were vulnerable, and we can predict the frequency and mortality of percutaneous coronary intervention for heart disease.

AIS(Automatic Identification System), was suggested for the navigational data communication between ships and between ships and shore stations for the better safety of navigation, and it requires two different the transmitting output power level depending on its operating mode. According to ITU's recommendation, these levels should reach within 20 % of its final value in 1 ms. In this paper, an adequate feedback control circuit for power amplifier module is designed and implemented.

Common Channel Signaling(CCS) networks need special controls to avoid overload of signaling networks and degradation of call process-ing rate, since they play an important role of controlling communication transfer networks. Congestion control and flow control mechanisms are well described in ITU-T recommendation on Signaling System No.7(SS7). For the practical provisions, however, we need an analysis on the relation among service objects, system requirements and implementation of congestion control algorithms. SS7 provides several options for controlling link congestion in CCS networks. In this paper we give a general queueing model of congestion control algorithm which covers both the international and national options. From the queuing model, we obtain the performance parameters such as throughput, message loss rate and mean delay for the international option. To show the performance of the algorithm, some numerical results are also given.

Recently, IMO(International Maritime Organization) have provided the recommendation of EMI and EMS for radio communication and equipments of marine from SOLAS convention at July 1st 2002. In this paper, we measured EMC environment on the HANBADA, which is Korea Maritime University training ship, and the 88KUMEO of a fishing boat for basic EMC environment of a ship. Measured Band is from 30 MHz to 2 GHz, polarization measurement is processed both vertical and horizontal polarization. We analysed the results in consideration of permissible criteria.

Purpose: This research examines the factors that influence organic food purchasing decisions of kindergartens in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: A mixed-method research was utilized in this study. It included a focus group of 10 participants and a survey of 304 respondents, (quantitative research) who are employed in the selected kindergartens, using both online and paper surveys based on nonprobability and convenient sampling. The SPSS and SmartPLS 3 software were used to analyze data. Results: a) Eight factors affect the purchase decision of kindergartens; b) Environment Attention, Normative Beliefs, Trust belief on brand, Cost of meal set, and Reference group positively affect Intention behavior; c) Feeling safe positively affect Perceived Quality Product. Perceived quality of product and Intention behavior positively affect organic food Purchase Decision of kindergartens. Conclusion: Eight factors affect organic food purchasing decisions of kindergartens in Ho Chi Minh City. This study offers recommendation and solutions for a stable output of organic products in Vietnam, and ways to popularize them within the community.

In recent high-speed data moderns for use over PSTN or leased line, the data compression technique based on CCITT V.42bis Recommendation is of popular use along sith CCITT V.42 error control function. A remaining concern to advanced-application users is the protection against unintended eavesdropping. This paper proposes the architectural model on how the security mechanism should be adopted into the above mentioned error-correction/data compression moderns. Also, the functional definitions and the operational procedures are described in detail for possible implementation.

The theory of representation, which has been an important topic of epistemology, has long history of study. But it has diverse meaning according to the fields of argument. In this paper the author set the meaning of mathematical representation as the interrelation of internal and external representations. With this concept, the following items were studied. 1. Survey on the concepts of mathematical representations. 2. Investigation of pedagogical significance of the mathematical representations, taking into account the characteristics of school mathematics. 3. Recommendation of principles for teaching representation to cope with the problems that are related with cause of disliking each domain of the secondary school mathematics. This study is expected to enable the development of teaching methods to help students strengthening their ability to comprehend mathematical sentences.

This paper introduces the structure and effects of Kakao's news curation algorithm, which is created based on the Deep Reading Index (DRI). The DRI examines the extent of deep reading through content reading time, that is, the duration of reader engagement with an article. Current news curation algorithms focus on reader choice, with the click-through rate or pageviews as the gauge for consumption frequency. DRI is a product of the challenge of introducing and adopting a new factor called 'consumption time' instead of 'frequency of consumption', which is the basis of existing curation algorithms. The analysis of DRI-based services proves that the new algorithm can act as a curation system that is more effective in providing in-depth and quality news reports.

ATM techniques ar ewidely accepted as a key transport mechanism infiber-based broadband network. However, to keep pace with the rpid emerging wireless high speed market, it is desirable to verify the reliability & daptability of ATM protocol on high error environment. This paper investigates the various ATM cell transfer characteristics over air interface. Though simulation, we analyze their usabilities of HeC mechanism and single-bit error correction algorithm based on ITU-T recommendation. We propose some methods for cell transport improvement over errored environment and investigate their performance for suggested schemes.

Almost of all impediments to enhancing ship safety and preventing vessel-source marine pollution arise from the interaction between direct and indirect factors. The direct factors come from human errors and failure in compliance with the international convention standards for the operation of cessel. The indirect factors derive from the will and attitudes of the countries taking little responsibilities with appropriate seriousness for policing their fleets. By focusing on these aspects, this paper reviews the effectiveness of existing countermasures adopted by IMO and intends to propose a new paradigm to improve the implementation capability of each nation by suggesting frameworks of maritime administration models.
