지속적 관여도 및 인지된 위험이 소비자의 온라인 상인선택 프로세스에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 요구신뢰 수준 개념을 중심으로 (How Enduring Product Involvement and Perceived Risk Affect Consumers' Online Merchant Selection Process: The 'Required Trust Level' Perspective)

  • Consumers differ in the way they make a purchase. An audio mania would willingly make a bold, yet serious, decision to buy a top-of-the-line home theater system, while he is not interested in replacing his two-decade-old shabby car. On the contrary, an automobile enthusiast wouldn't mind spending forty thousand dollars to buy a new Jaguar convertible, yet cares little about his junky component system. It is product involvement that helps us explain such differences among individuals in the purchase style. Product involvement refers to the extent to which a product is perceived to be important to a consumer (Zaichkowsky, 2001). Product involvement is an important factor that strongly influences consumer's purchase decision-making process, and thus has been of prime interest to consumer behavior researchers. Furthermore, researchers found that involvement is closely related to perceived risk (Dholakia, 2001). While abundant research exists addressing how product involvement relates to overall perceived risk, little attention has been paid to the relationship between involvement and different types of perceived risk in an electronic commerce setting. Given that perceived risk can be a substantial barrier to the online purchase (Jarvenpaa, 2000), research addressing such an issue will offer useful implications on what specific types of perceived risk an online firm should focus on mitigating if it is to increase sales to a fullest potential. Meanwhile, past research has focused on such consumer responses as information search and dissemination as a consequence of involvement, neglecting other behavioral responses like online merchant selection. For one example, will a consumer seriously considering the purchase of a pricey Guzzi bag perceive a great degree of risk associated with online buying and therefore choose to buy it from a digital storefront rather than from an online marketplace to mitigate risk? Will a consumer require greater trust on the part of the online merchant when the perceived risk of online buying is rather high? We intend to find answers to these research questions through an empirical study. This paper explores the impact of enduring product involvement and perceived risks on required trust level, and further on online merchant choice. For the purpose of the research, five types or components of perceived risk are taken into consideration, including financial, performance, delivery, psychological, and social risks. A research model has been built around the constructs under consideration, and 12 hypotheses have been developed based on the research model to examine the relationships between enduring involvement and five components of perceived risk, between five components of perceived risk and required trust level, between enduring involvement and required trust level, and finally between required trust level and preference toward an e-tailer. To attain our research objectives, we conducted an empirical analysis consisting of two phases of data collection: a pilot test and main survey. The pilot test was conducted using 25 college students to ensure that the questionnaire items are clear and straightforward. Then the main survey was conducted using 295 college students at a major university for nine days between December 13, 2010 and December 21, 2010. The measures employed to test the model included eight constructs: (1) enduring involvement, (2) financial risk, (3) performance risk, (4) delivery risk, (5) psychological risk, (6) social risk, (7) required trust level, (8) preference toward an e-tailer. The statistical package, SPSS 17.0, was used to test the internal consistency among the items within the individual measures. Based on the Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficients of the individual measure, the reliability of all the variables is supported. Meanwhile, the Amos 18.0 package was employed to perform a confirmatory factor analysis designed to assess the unidimensionality of the measures. The goodness of fit for the measurement model was satisfied. Unidimensionality was tested using convergent, discriminant, and nomological validity. The statistical evidences proved that the three types of validity were all satisfied. Now the structured equation modeling technique was used to analyze the individual paths along the relationships among the research constructs. The results indicated that enduring involvement has significant positive relationships with all the five components of perceived risk, while only performance risk is significantly related to trust level required by consumers for purchase. It can be inferred from the findings that product performance problems are mostly likely to occur when a merchant behaves in an opportunistic manner. Positive relationships were also found between involvement and required trust level and between required trust level and online merchant choice. Enduring involvement is concerned with the pleasure a consumer derives from a product class and/or with the desire for knowledge for the product class, and thus is likely to motivate the consumer to look for ways of mitigating perceived risk by requiring a higher level of trust on the part of the online merchant. Likewise, a consumer requiring a high level of trust on the merchant will choose a digital storefront rather than an e-marketplace, since a digital storefront is believed to be trustworthier than an e-marketplace, as it fulfills orders by itself rather than acting as an intermediary. The findings of the present research provide both academic and practical implications. The first academic implication is that enduring product involvement is a strong motivator of consumer responses, especially the selection of a merchant, in the context of electronic shopping. Secondly, academicians are advised to pay attention to the finding that an individual component or type of perceived risk can be used as an important research construct, since it would allow one to pinpoint the specific types of risk that are influenced by antecedents or that influence consequents. Meanwhile, our research provides implications useful for online merchants (both online storefronts and e-marketplaces). Merchants may develop strategies to attract consumers by managing perceived performance risk involved in purchase decisions, since it was found to have significant positive relationship with the level of trust required by a consumer on the part of the merchant. One way to manage performance risk would be to thoroughly examine the product before shipping to ensure that it has no deficiencies or flaws. Secondly, digital storefronts are advised to focus on symbolic goods (e.g., cars, cell phones, fashion outfits, and handbags) in which consumers are relatively more involved than others, whereas e- marketplaces should put their emphasis on non-symbolic goods (e.g., drinks, books, MP3 players, and bike accessories).

물질주의 성향 및 사회화대행자의 태도가 의복의 상징적 소비에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Materialism and Agent of Socialization on the Symbolic Consumption in Clothing)

  • 본 연구는 제품의 기능적 측면보다는 제품이 지니고 있는 사회적, 주관적 의미를 더 중요하게 생각하는 소비지향적인 사회분위기 속에서, 이론적 연구와 예비조사결과를 토대로 물질주의 성향과 사회화대행자의 영향력에 따른 의복의 상징적 소비에 차이가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 수도권에 거주하는 20대 여성 500명을 편의 추출하여 설문조사하였으며, 불성실한 응답을 제외한 426명을 SPSS통계 Package를 이용하여 요인분석, 신뢰도 검증, 분산분석, Duncan-test, 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 의복의 상징적 소비는 유행추구적 소비, 유명상표지향적 소비, 쾌락적 소비 요인으로 분류되었으며,20대 여성 소비자에게 의복은 기능적 측면으로서 뿐만 아니라 쾌락적 소비의 수단으로써 중요한 존재임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 물질주의 성향이 높을수록, 사회화대행자의 영향력을 많이 받을수록 의복의 상징적 소비와 하위요인의 성향도 높게 나타났다. 다중회귀분석 결과 의복의 상징적 소비에 영향을 미치는 가장 큰 요인은 준거집단의 영향이었으며, 물질주의성향과 대중매체의 영향도 큰 것으로 나타났다.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the effective genetic resources preservation system using the frozen boar semen. The porcine oocytes were matured for 44 hours in NCSU-23 medium with or without 10% Porcine Follicle Fluid (PFF), 0.5 ${\mu}g/ml$ porcine FSH, 0.5 ${\mu}g/ml$ equine LH, 1.0 ${\mu}g/ml$ 17 $\beta$-estradiol ($E_2$) and 10 ng/ml Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) under mineral oil at $38.5^{\circ}C$ in humidified atmosphere of 5% $CO_2$ in air. After 44 h of culture, the oocytes were inseminated with frozen-thawed semen and fresh semen prepared with mTBM medium for 6 h. Later, set of 50 presumptive zygotes were transferred into 4-well dish (500 ${\mu}l$) of IVC medium. for embryos freezing, slow-freezing and vitrification methods were used as a cryopreservation. Differences among treatments were analyzed using General Linear Model Procedure by SAS Package (version 6.12) differences were considered significant when p<0.05. Following IVF and IVC, the rates of cleavage and blastocysts formation were significantly higher (p<0.05) in hormone supplemented group than that of hormone-free group (25.7 vs, 12.1). The development rates to cleavage and blastocysts were significantly higher in PZM-5 group than NCSU-23 group (60.3%, 46.6% vs 27.4%, 11.1%). Further improvement was achieved when PZM-5 was supplemented with FBS. Cleavage rates was significantly higher in fresh semen source group than frozen semen (66.7% vs 43.7%). However in blastocysts rates was similar two groups. Post-thaw survival rates of embryos were 1.2% and 2.2% in slow-frezing and vitrification groups, respectively. The results of our study suggest that it is still possible to improve the culture conditions and boar semen cryopreservation for enhance reproductive technology and animal genetic resources conservation.

남성소비자들의 패션라이프스타일에 따른 넥타이 문양디자인 선호 (Preference of Neck-tie Pattern Designs according to Male Consumers' Fashion Life Style)

  • 본 연구는 남성소비자들의 패션라이프스타일 유형에 따른 넥타이 문양디자인 선호도와 구매 의도를 파악하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 남성소비자들의 패션라이프스타일 유형은 '유행 지향', '보수 전통지향', '과시적 브랜드 지향', '개성 지향', '실용 지향', '패션 무관심' 형으로 분류되었다. 각각의 패션 라이프스타일 요인들을 군집 분석하여 남성소비자들의 패션라이프스타일에 따른 집단을 '개성 추구', '실용 & 브랜드 추구', '보수 전통 & 개성 추구', '유행 추구', '패션 무관심' 집단으로 구분하였다. 남성소비자들의 패션라이프스타일 유형에 따라 넥타이 문양 선호와 구매 의사에는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. '실용 지향'형은 '무지단색', '원', '페이즐리'의 넥타이 문양을 선호하는 경향이 있는 반면, '꽃' 문양은 선호하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. '보수 전통지향', '과시적 브랜드지향', '실용 지향'형은 '줄', '체크'의 넥타이 문양을 선호하는 경향으로 나타났고, '유행 지향', '과시적 브랜드지향', '개성 지향'형은 '무지단색', '꽃', '동물'의 넥타이 문양을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. '유행 지향'형은 '무지단색', '꽃', '동물'의 넥타이 문양에 대한 구매 의사가 있는 반면, '실용 지향'형은 '원' 문양에 대한 구매 의사가 있는 것으로 나타났다. '실용지향'형은 '원' 문양에 대한 선호 및 구매 의사가 동시에 있었고, '유행 지향'형 역시 '무지단색', '꽃', '동물' 문양에 대한 선호 및 구매 의사가 동시에 있는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, '보수 전통지향' 및 '과시적 브랜드 지향'형이 '줄', '체크' 문양에 대한 선호가 높았으나, 구매 의사는 '페이즐리' 문양에 있는 것으로 조사되어 선호하는 넥타이 문양과 구매하고자 하는 문양 간에 차이를 보였다.

굽힘응력을 받는 유연전자소자에서 중립축 위치의 제어 (Control of Position of Neutral Line in Flexible Microelectronic System Under Bending Stress)

  • 유연전자소자가 외부힘에 의해 변형될 경우 반도체 다이가 기계적 응력 때문에 변형되거나 파괴되고 이러한 변형이나 파괴는 channel의 전자이동도를 변화시키거나 배선의 저항을 증가시켜 집적회로의 동작 오류를 발생시킨다. 따라서 반도체 집적회로는 굽힘 변형이 발생해도 기계적 응력이 발생하지 않는 중립축에 위치하는 것이 바람직하다. 본 연구에서는 굽힘변형을 하는 flip-chip 접합공정이 적용된 face-down flexible packaging system에서 중립축의 위치와 파괴 모드를 조사하였고 반도체 집적회로와 집중응력이 발생한 곳의 응력을 감소시킬 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 이를 위해, 설계인자로 유연기판의 두께 및 소재, 반도체 다이의 두께를 고려하였고 설계인자가 중립축의 위치에 미치는 영향을 조사한 결과 유연기판의 두께가 중립축의 위치를 조절하는데 유용한 설계인자임을 알 수 있었다. 3차원 모델을 이용한 유한요소해석 결과 반도체 다이와 유연기판 사이의 Cu bump 접합부에서 항복응력보다 높은 응력이 인가될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 flexible face-down packaging system에서 반도체 다이와 Cu bump 의 응력을 감소시킬 수 있는 설계 방법을 제안하였다.

보안엑스포 참관객의 추구편익과 참관 후 행동의 관계 (Relationship between Pursuit Benefit and Behavior by Spectators Participating Security Exhibition)

  • 본 연구는 보안엑스포 참관객의 추구편익과 참관 후 행동의 관계를 규명하여 차후 보안 엑스포 참가기업의 보다 효과적이며 소비자들에게 차별화된 마케팅전략을 제공하고, 참관객들의 니즈에 적극적인 대응을 통하여 보안 경호산업분야의 발전적인 방향을 제시하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 2014년 3월 12일-14일 3일간 일산 킨텍스에서 개최한 세계보안엑스포2014에 참가한 참관객을 대상으로 편의표집(convenience sampling)으로 300명이 표집되었으며, 수집된 설문지 중 응답내용이 부실하거나 신뢰성이 없다고 판단되어지는 17부의 자료를 제외하고 본 연구에서는 총 283부의 설문지를 연구대상을 분석에 이용하였다. 조사도구는 설문지로서 국내 외 선행연구를 기초로 하여 재구성하여 사용하였으며, 자료 처리는 SPSS version 18.0 통계패키지를 이용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이상의 연구방법과 절차에 따른 자료 분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 추구편익과 참관 후 행동 요인 간의 관계가 모두 정(+)의 상관관계를 보이고 있어, 추구편익과 구매행동 간에는 정(+)의 상관관계가 있다. 둘째, 추구편익과 참관 후 행동 요인 간의 관계를 분석한 결과 정보탐색, 여가선용, 제품 구매는 구전활동에 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 추구편익과 참관 후 행동 요인 간의 관계를 분석한 결과 여가선용, 정보탐색, 제품구매는 재 참관에 영향을 미친다.

종합건강검진 수검자들의 대사증후군 유병률 및 관련요인 (Prevalence of Metabolic Syndrome and Its Associated Factors among Health Checkup Examinees in a University Hospital)

  • 본 연구는 대사증후군 및 대사증후군 진단기준 인자의 유병률을 파악하고, 인구사회학적 및 건강관련행위 요인과의 관련성을 검토하며, 진단기준 인자의 군집화를 통해 대사증후군 위험의 분포를 분석하고자 하였다. 조사는 한 대학병원 건강검진센터에서 종합건강검진을 받았던 30세 이상의 지역주민 1,388명을 대상으로 허리둘레, 중성지방, 고밀도지단백콜레스테롤, 수축기혈압, 확장기혈압, 및 공복 시 혈당 등 대사증후군 진단기준 인자를 측정하였다. 분석은 이들 대사증후군 위험인자에 대한 유병률을 파악하고 위험인자의 군집화를 통해 대사증후군 위험의 분포를 파악하였으며, 관련요인에 따른 대사증후군의 위험비를 구하였다. 연구결과 조사대상자의 대사증후군의 유병율은 21.7%로 나타났으며, 대사증후군 위험인자별 유병률은 HDL-C, 혈압, TG, 허리둘레, FBS의 순으로 나타났다. 또한 관련변수에 따른 위험비에서 BMI, 흡연습관, 식품섭취 및 당뇨에 대한 가족력 등이 대사증후군의 위험비를 높이는데 관련된 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 대사증후군의 위험 관리를 위해서는 모든 생활습관 요인에 대한 평가와 중재가 필요함을 시사하고 있다.

노인과 젊은 성인의 발목발등굽힘 관절가동범위와 동적 균형 상관성 대한 이해 (Understanding the Correlation Between Dorsiflexion Range of Motion and Dynamic Balance in Elderly and Young Adults)

  • Background: Deficits of both ankle dorsiflexion range of motion (DFROM) and dynamic balance are shown in persons with chronic ankle instability and the elderly, with the risk of falls. Objects: This study aims to investigate the relationship between DFROM and dynamic balance in elderly subjects and young adults. Methods: Fifty-nine subjects were divided into three groups: ankle stability young group (SY), ankle instability young group (IY) and ankle stability older group (SO). We recruited three old subjects with ankle instability, but excluded them during a pilot testing due to the safety issue. DFROM was measured by weight bearing lunge test (WBLT) and dynamic balance was measured via star excursion balance test (SEBT) in anteromedial, medial, and posteromedial directions. The group differences in WBLT and SEBT and each group's correlation between WBLT and SEBT were detected using the R statistical software package. Results: The dorsiflexion range of motion was significantly different between the SY, IY, and SO groups. The SO group showed the highest DFROM and IY group showed the lowest DFROM (SY: $45.88{\pm}.66^{\circ}$, IY: $39.53{\pm}1.63^{\circ}$, SO: $47.94{\pm}.50^{\circ}$; p<.001). However, the SO group showed the lowest dynamic balance score for all SEBT directions (SY: $87.24{\pm}2.05cm$, IY: $83.20{\pm}1.30cm$, SO: $77.23{\pm}2.07cm$; p<.05) and there was no relationship between the dorsiflexion range of motion and dynamic balance in any group. Conclusion: Our findings suggest that ankle DFROM is not a crucial factor for dynamic stability regardless of aging and ankle instability. Other factors such as muscle strength or movement coordination should be considered for training dynamic balance. Therefore, we need to establish the rehabilitation process by measuring and treating ROM, balance, and muscle strength when treating young adults with and without ankle instability as well as elderly people.

Genetic parameters of calving ease using sire-maternal grandsire model in Korean Holsteins

  • Objective: Calving ease (CE) is a complex reproductive trait of economic importance in dairy cattle. This study was aimed to investigate the genetic merits of CE for Holsteins in Korea. Methods: A total of 297,614 field records of CE, from 2000 to 2015, from first parity Holstein heifers were recorded initially. After necessary data pruning such as age at first calving (18 to 42 mo), gestation length, and presence of sire information, final datasets for CE consisted of 147,526 and 132,080 records for service sire calving ease (SCE) and daughter calving ease (DCE) evaluations, respectively. The CE categories were ordered and scores ranged from CE1 to CE5 (CE1, easy; CE2, slight assistance; CE3, moderate assistance; CE4, difficult calving; CE5, extreme difficulty calving). A linear transformation of CE score was obtained on each category using Snell procedure, and a scaling factor was applied to attain the spread between 0 (CE5) and 100% (CE1). A sire-maternal grandsire model analysis was performed using ASREML 3.0 software package. Results: The estimated direct heritability ($h^2$) from SCE and DCE evaluations were $0.11{\pm}0.01$ and $0.08{\pm}0.01$, respectively. Maternal $h^2$ estimates were $0.05{\pm}0.02$ and $0.04{\pm}0.01$ from SCE and DCE approaches, respectively. Estimates of genetic correlations between direct and maternal genetic components were $-0.68{\pm}0.09$ (SCE) and $-0.71{\pm}0.09$ (DCE). The average direct genetic effect increased over time, whereas average maternal effect was low and consistent. The estimated direct predicted transmitting ability (PTA) was desirable and increasing over time, but the maternal PTA was undesirable and decreasing. Conclusion: The evidence on sufficient genetic variances in this study could reflect a possible selection improvement over time regarding ease of calving. It is expected that the estimated genetic parameters could be a valuable resource to formulate sire selection and breeding plans which would be directed towards the reduction of calving difficulty in Korean Holsteins.

중년소비자의 성별과 연령에 따른 주관적 연령 차이와 자아존중감, 외모만족도 및 의복추구혜택 (A Study on the Gap between Subjective Age and Real Age, Self-Esteem, Appearance Satisfaction, and Clothing Benefits Pursuit according to Gender and Age of Middle-Aged Consumers)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the self-esteem, appearance satisfaction, and clothing benefit pursuit the gap between subjective age and real age according to gender and age of middle-aged consumers. For the study, the questionnaire was developed by the authors and distributed to male and female consumers in their forties or fifties on september 1~10, 2014. A total of 470 questionnaires was collected and used for the final analysis. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA and Tukey's test, using the SPSS 18.0 Package Program. The findings were summarized as follows. There were significant differences in the subjective age of middle-aged consumers according to gender and age. Female consumers in their fifties perceived their subjective age to be younger than male consumers in forties and fifties. There were no significant differences in self-esteem among the groups according to gender and age. Significant differences were found in appearance satisfaction of male consumers in their fifties having higher appearance satisfaction than female consumers in their forties. There were significant differences in some factors of clothing pursuit benefits including pursuit of fashion, pursuit of youth, pursuit of rationale, pursuit of leisure, and pursuit of loyalty, among the groups according to gender and age with female consumers placing more importance on clothing-related benefits than their male counterparts. Local fashion businesses to consumers who target middle-aged consumers, this study can provide a basic data.
