During ozonation process, the hydroxyl radical generation rates were measured under different experimental conditions (ozone feed rate, nitrobenzene concentration, hydroxyl radical scavenger, pH, HO$_2$O$_2$/O$_3$ etc.) Nitrobenzene could be decomposed by hydroxyl radical rather than ozone only and nitrobenzene decomposition rate was expressed with functions of ozone and nitrobenzene concentration. The rate was decreased as the hydroxyl radical scavenger concentration was increased, and all results were followed pseudo first-order reaction. Using a competitive method, hydroxyl radical generation rate was measured with probe compound and scavenger. It was proportional to ozone concentration, and 0.24mo1 of hydroxyl radical was produced with 1mol of ozone. Under different pH conditions, hydroxyl radical generation rates were measured (pH 10.2 (0.91Ms$^{-1}$ ) > pH 7.3 (0.72Ms$^{-1}$ ) > pH 5.6 (0.67Ms$^{-1}$ ) > pH 3.4 (0.63Ms$^{-1}$ )) showing higher generation rate at high pH values. Addition of hydrogen peroxide promoted the generation rate of hydroxyl radical. Considering the results of pH experiments and addition of hydrogen peroxide experiments, the hydroxyl radical generation rate was 1.6 times higher in hydrogen peroxide solution than in high pH solution, indicating addition of hydrogen peroxide is better promoter to produce the hydroxyl radical in ozonation. These results could be applied to AOPs to remediate the contaminated wastewater and groundwater.

This study was carried out to investigate the effect of extracting pH on the components and color of seasame protein concentrate(SPC). The protein contents of SPC by extracted at pH 2.0, 7.0, 9.0 and 11.0 were 60.57, 67.72, 79.50 and 83.44%, respectively. Most of the phytates were removed in SPC extracted at pH 7.0, 9.0 and 11.0, but the phytate content of SPC extracted at pH 2.0 was about the same as that of defatted sesame flour. The highest decrease of phytate was found in SPC extracted at pH 11.0(94.80%). SPC extracted at pH 2.0 contained the highest amount of Ca, Mg, Fe and Zn than those in other SPC prepared, while highest amount of Cu was found in SPC extracted at pH 11.0. Sodium content was similar among all the SPC prepared. SPC extracted at pH 7.0 resulted in brighter clor, but SPC extracted at pH 11.0 showed a little darker in appearance.
In this paper, we have presented the observational result for the photometric quality of main telescopes in Gimhae Astronomical Observatory. Also we performed the observation of searching new minor planets as competitive work in public observatories. The observation was carried out using 60cm telescope of Gimhae Astronomical Observatory on 2007 January 13. And, $Sch\ddot{u}ler$ BVI filters and 1K CCD camera (AP8p) were used. To define the quality of CCD photometry, we observed the region of well-known standard stars in the open cluster M67. From observed data, The transformation coefficients and airmass coefficients were obtained, and the accuracy of CCD photometry was investigated. From PSF photometry, we obtained the color-magnitude diagram of M67, and considered the useful magnitude limit and the physical properties of M67. This method can be successfully used to confirm the photometric quality of main telescope in public observatories. To investigate the detection possibility of unknown object as astroid, we observed the near area of the opposition in the ecliptic plane. And we discussed the result. Our result show that it can be possible to detect minor planets in solar system brighter than $V{\sim}18.3mag$. and it can carry out photometric study brighter than V 16mag. in Gimhae Astronomical Observatory. These results imply that the public observatories can make the research work.

The three-dimensional (3D) structure of an inorganic crystal, $SmZn_{0.67}Sb_2$ (space group P4/nmm, $a=4.26{\AA}\;and\;c=10.37{\AA}$) was solved by electron crystallography. High resolution electron microscopy (HREM) images from 3 different major zone axes and selected-area electron diffraction patterns from 16 different zone axes were combined to obtain a 3D information. A crystallographic image processing (CIP) of HREM images was used for more accurate determination of the crystal structure. As a result of this electron crystallography, average phase errors (${\Phi}_{res}$) of [001], [100] and [110] HREM images are $17.0^{\circ},\;8.3^{\circ}\;and\;21.9^{\circ}$, respectively. Xray crystallography of $SmZn_{0.67}Sb_2$ has attempted to compare accuracy of the structure determination by electron crystallography, which resulted in the cell parameters of $a=4.2976(6){\AA}\;and\;c=10.287(2){\AA}$, and the R-factor ($R_{sym}$) of 4.16%.

This study is a descriptive survey research on nursing workers at long-term care hospitals, who are largely divided into nurses and nurse aides, to identify the factors that affect their turnover intention. From August 12 to 16, 2022, the survey was conducted for 146 nursing workers in four long-term care hospitals located in G city. The survey results indicated that there were differences in their turnover intention depending on their age, religion, marital status, educational level, average monthly salary, job type, duty pattern and turnover experience, of all general characteristics (p<.05). Turnover intention had a significant positive correlation with job stress (r=.51, p<.001) and burnout (r=.62, p<.001), and had a significant negative correlation with organizational commitment (r=.-56, p<.001). Organizational commitment had a significant negative correlation with job stress (r=-.25, p=.002) and burnout (r=.-.67, p<.001), while burnout had a significant positive correlation with job stress (r=.56, p<.001). Factors influencing the nursing workers' turnover intention included job stress (β=.32, p<.001), organizational commitment (β=-.30, p=.001) and education level (β=.17, p=.022), with an explanatory power of 49.6%. Based on the results of this study, it is considered that efforts to improve the working environment for nursing workers at long-term care hospitals are needed by reducing their job stress and improving organizational commitment in order to reduce their turnover intention.
As a condition for obtaining the silk I type crystal that has stability and high reproducibility, after dissolving silk fibroin crystalline part (Fcp), the changes of recrystallized crystal structure according to dialytic pH were examined by x-ray diffraction and differential thermal analysis. The Fcp was obtained from the aqueous solution of silk fibroin enzymatic proteolyzed by chymotrypsin. The crystal structure of Fcp showed silk II type. When the Fcp was dissolved by 10M LiBr aqueous solution, the Fcp1 showed the silk II type at pH 9. However, besides the silk II type, the silk I type structure begins to appear at pH 8 and only the silk I type structure was found below pH 6. On the other hand, the Fcp2 that calcium chloride was used in the dissolution found only the silk I type crystal structure below pH8.
Paul Turan observed that the Legendre polynomials satisfy the inequality $P_n(x)^2-P_{n-1}(x)P_{n+1}(x)$ > 0, $-1{\leq}x{\leq}1$. And G. Gasper(ref. [6], ref. [7]) proved such an inequality for Jacobi polynomials and J. Bustoz and N. Savage (ref. [2]) proved $P^{\alpha}_n(x)P^{\beta}_{n+1}(x)-P^{\alpha}_{n+1}(x)P{\beta}_n(x)$ > 0, $\frac{1}{2}{\leq}{\alpha}$ < ${\beta}{\leq}{\alpha}+2.0$ < $x$ < 1, for the ultraspherical polynomials (respectively, Laguerre ploynomials). The Bustoz-Savage inequalities hold for Laguerre and ultraspherical polynomials which are symmetric. In this paper, we prove some similar inequalities for non-symmetric Jacobi polynomials.
Cellular fatty acid composition of eight strains, indluding six strains of Comamonas terrigena, and two type strains of Pseudomonas acidovorans, and P. testosteroni was determined by gas-liquid chromatography. Almost the same composition was found in all the strains tested, and hexadecanoic acid, hexadecenoic acid, and octadecenoic acid were accounted more than 70% of total fatty acid. However, P. testosteroni differed from C. terrigena and P. acidovorans by the presence of comparatively large amonuts of 2-hydroxy-hexadecanoic acid, and C. terrigena contained three to eight times as much tetradecanoic acid in P. acidovorans and P. testosteroni. According to the similarity values calculated on the basis of fatty acid composition, C. terrigena strains were divided into three groups differentiated in the requirement of growth factors, and C. terrigena, P. acidovorans, and P. testosteroni strains occupied separate position each other in the dendrogram.
Background: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the potential association of five (p.P47S, p.R72P, PIN3 Ins16bp, p.R213R and r.13494g>a) polymorphisms of TP53 with the risk of developing breast cancer in North Indian Punjabi population. Methods: We screened DNA samples of 200 sporadic breast cancer patients (197 females and 3 males) and 200 unrelated healthy, gender and age matched individuals for the polymorphisms. Results: For the p.P47S polymorphism, we observed the PP genotype in 99.5% of the patients and PS genotype in only 1 patient. All the controls had the wild type PP genotype. The frequency of RR, RP and PP genotype of p.R72P was 23.5% vs 33.5%, 51.5% vs 45.5% and 25% vs 21% in patients and controls respectively. Heterozygous (RP) genotype was increased in breast cancer patients as compared to controls (51.5 vs 45.5%) and showed 1.61 fold significantly increased risk for breast cancer (OR=1.61, 95% CI, 1.01-2.58, p=0.04). In breast cancer patients the frequencies of A1A1, A1A2 and A2A2 genotypes of PIN3 Ins16bp polymorphism were 67%, 26% and 7% respectively whereas in controls the genotype frequencies were 68.5%, 27.5% and 4% respectively, with no significant difference. For p.R213R (c.639A>G), all individuals had homozygous wild type genotype. The frequencies of GG, GA and AA genotypes of TP53 r.13494g>a polymorphism were 62 vs 67.5%, 33 vs 28% and 5 vs 4.5% in patients and controls respectively, again without significant difference. We observed that RP-A1A1 genotype combination of p.R72P and PIN3 Ins16bp and RP-GG combination of p.R72P and r.13494g>a polymorphism showed significant risk of breast cancer (OR=1.65, 95%CI: 0.98-2.78, p=0.05; OR=1.72, 95%CI: 1.01-2.92, p=0.04). Conclusion: The results of present study indicated that among the five TP53 polymorphisms investigated, the p.R72P polymorphism, and the RP-A1A1 and RP-GG genotype combination contribute to breast cancer susceptibility in North Indians.
Purpose: The porpose of this descriptive study was grasp the QOL (Quality of Life) of cervix cancer patient and to analysis QOL (Quality of Life) by stage of disease, type of treatment and de me graphic characteristics Methods: Data were collected from 67 patients with cervical cancer from 3 General Hospitals from March 15 to June 4 using The "QOL (Quality of Life)-Cancer Version" inventory made by Ferrell et al (1995). The data were analysed by using SPSS $PC^+$ program including t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe test. Results: Progressing stage of disease and QOL, the significant between the progressing stage of disease and QOL was significant (F=5.06, P=.003). The degree of difference between the progresstion of the stage of the disease and each item in the test was physical well-being (F=3.97 P=.012), the items of psychological well-being (F=3.91, P=.013), the items of social well-being (F=4.96, P=.004). It show a significant difference, but the item of spiritual well-being (F=1.36, P=.262) was not significant difference. The significance between the type of treatment and QOL was insignificant. The degree of difference between each area of life was the psychological well-being (t=-2.14, P=.037), the social well-being (t=-2.15, P=.036). But the physical well-being (t=-.93, P=.356), the spiritual well-being (t=.73, P=.469) was insignificant. Conclusion: As a result, The QOL of patients with cervical cancer is differentiated by the stage of disease, the type of treatment, and the demographic data. Therefore, there is a need to apply nursing intervention to patients with cervical cancer by considering the stage of disease, the type of treatment, and the demographic data.
