Design and Implementation of Self-networking and Replaceable Structure in Mobile Vector Graphics

  • In this paper, self-networking and replaceable structure in vector graphics contents are presented for wireless internet service. The wireless networks over 2G or 3G are limited in the sense of the speed and the cost. Considering these characteristics of wireless network, self-networking method and replaceable structure in downloaded contents are introduced in order to save the amount of data and provide variations for contents. During the display of contents, a certain data for the contents is downloaded from the server and it is managed appropriately for the operation of the contents. The downloaded materials are reflected to the original contents using replaceable structure. Also, the downloading and modification are independent of the play. In this implementation, the data consists of control data for control and resource data for image, sound or text. Comparing to the conventional methods which download the whole data, the amount of the transmitted data is very small since only the difference is downloaded. Also, during the play of the contents, the changes are adopted immediately. The whole functions are implemented in wireless handset and the various applications are discussed.

  • We propose a method using a transformation of an object and a scene tree in order to author MPEG-4 contents for mobile devices in this paper. The method transforms media objects in the scene into geometry objects in order to reduce initial loading time of the contents, and reduces an external form of each object in a scene of the content for presenting it efficiently on the small interface of mobile devices. Therefore, the contents for mobile devices are reconstructed by the method. An original object in the scene is presented on a mobile device when a user clicks a related geometry object. The method was applied to a conventional authoring tool, so we could find that the method showed an efficient presentation of MPEG-4 contents on mobile devices.

  • SCRM is international standard for sharing and reusing of learning contents as unit of SCO. But when we want to reuse this learning content by modifying a portion of it in similar knowledge domain, there is a problem that modification of original content has to be made. This paper suggests I-SCO model that enables to develop inheritable contents to solve this problem. The I-SCO model increases the reusability of contents based on SCORM by means of supporting inheritance that includes overloading and overriding. In this paper, we design and implement the I-SCO model, and execute on the runtime environment which is distributed by ADL. This experimentation shows the inheritability of contents and proves the validity of I-SCO model.

A Study on the Spalling Properties of High-Performance Concrete with the Kinds of Aggregate and Polypropylene Fiber Contents (골재종류 및 폴리프로필렌 섬유 혼입률 변화에 따른 고성능 콘크리트의 폭열 특성에 관한 연구)

  • A spalling is defined as the damages of concrete exposed to high temperature during the fire by causing cracks and localized bursting of small pieces of concrete. It is reported that spalling is caused by the vapor pressure and polypropylene(PP) fiber has an important role in protecting from spalling. This paper is a study on the properties and spalling resistance of high-performance concrete with the kinds of aggregate and the contents of PP fiber. According to the experimental results, concrete contained no PP fiber take place in the form of the surface spalling and the failure of specimenns after fire test regardless of the kinds of aggregate. Concrete contained more than 0.05% of PP fiber with the aggregate of basalt does not take place the spalling, while the concrete using granite and limestone does the surface spalling. It is found that residual compressive strength after exposed at high temperature has 50~60% of its original strength. Although specimens after exposed at high temperature is cured at water for 28days, they do not recover their original strength.

  • In the history of ancient art, the form harmonizing Text and Image is founded in many genres of art. especially Buddhist art Image, which is used as important tool as the text to spread Buddhist ideas. This original literary form have switched the visual communication systems, patterns of speculation is another reason to have a symbolic system. The switch between Text and Image is very important on interpreting the aesthetic concept of the modern interpretation of visual media. Therefore, This research has investigated and compared the Wall paintings in Dunhuang to Animation 's Image Narrative. The original story of is based on the Buddhist Jataka tale of the same name, which were discovered as wall paintings made by unknown artists at the Dunhuang Mogao Caves.

Not only the digital content control but the technology of software source code for the intellectual property is so much mean to international competition. On occurring disputation property, we have to prove the fact, there is a problem to discriminate the original source code. In this paper, we make a study of the digital licence prototype for discriminate the original source code. Reserved words of software source code by parsing express to XML file that have hierarchical structure. Then, we can express architecture of software source code by tree structure form instead of complex source code. And we make a study of the indexing and searching to search digital license.

  • The purpose of this study is that translates ${\ulcorner}$Sun Gi Il Il Bun Wi Sa Si${\lrcorner}$ in the ${\ulcorner}$Young Chu(靈樞)${\lrcorner}$ as a modern words because it is hard to understand which was written by classical words. We revised the original text with the 7 other classic books and classified annotations of the 6 annotated books according to the similar contents. We classified this volume by 3 chapters, and added Hangul suffixes to the original text. The Five types of changes(五變) in the second chapter is meaning to the mutual relationships among the Five viscera and Color, Time, Day, Note, Taste. The word order of contents in the second chapter must be unified follow the Color, Time, Day, Note, Tastes. The Five types of changes in the third chapter must be revise the Five types of diseases(五病) on the bases of the ${\ulcorner}$You Kyoung(類經)${\lrcorner}$.

The Characteristics of User Created Content(UCC) for Virtual Band K/DA (가상밴드 K/DA에 대한 사용자 제작 콘텐츠(UCC) 특성)

  • In November 2018, virtual pop band K/DA, with the use of holograms and actual K-pop girl group members, performed its debut album titled "POP/STARS" at the opening ceremony of the League of Legends S8 final, hosted by Riot Games. The fan culture that exists for real singers adapts itself to virtual bands, and K/DA, consisting of virtual characters, encouraging the production of user created content (UCC). However, this form of UCC is different from the most common one, meaning that this type of band generates another way of consuming content. Therefore, this study examines how K/DA's digital characters are transformed and reproduced by UCC and how the original producers' content differs from them. Firstly, the development of this study considers the open characteristics of UCC, such as user type, created motivation, created process, content type and sharing method. In the second part, the virtual idol Hatsune Miku and virtual band Pentakill will be analysed to understand UCC. Thirdly, K/DA will be analyzed as a case study based on three factors: created motivation, content type and sharing method. In this manner, this study aims to explain how UCC for virtual bands reproduce and consume original content and expand their commercial value.

Security Vulnerability of Snoop Protocol and Its Countermeasure (Snoop 프로토콜의 보안상 취약점과 그 대책)

  • While Snoop improves network performance by using local retransmission in case of packet loss in wireless network, it has security vulnerability to be unable to countermeasure against falsified ACKs attacks. Therefore in this paper, we suggest a modified Snoop with an extra buffer in addition to original Snoop buffer. Even though packets are exhausted in original buffer by falsified ACKs attacks, proposed Snoop can locally retransmit the packets saved in the extra buffer. The simulation by NS-2 shows that proposed Snoop countermeasure efficiently against falsified ACKs attack and builds securer Snoop protocol.
