Code and object reuse is big concern for fast and efficient Virtual Reality (VR) system development. Many VR packages offer reasonably nice abstractions for various functionalities. That is, software reuse at the functional level is well practiced. Many geometry models are rarely used for main \"characters\" but mostly for incidental and decorative objects. This is because the main \"character\" objects usually exhibit certain behavior incompatible with the way the geometric model is organized. Kim has made a clear distinction between form, function and behavior[1]. This naturally lends to a reuse method at the level form, function and behavior.nction and behavior.

During the past 40 years of KIEE, thor hays exerted their best efforts in scientific and technical fields with a lot of beneficial results. To promote sharing their mutual activities and informations between the industrial and scholastic bodies, KIEE has organized a Technical Commitee in Switchgear to have the first meeting on this July 22 in accordance with the Regulations which has newly came in action by this June 5. This paper briefly describes their activities thereafter.

In the country, already a 400 species and some Interchanges of different Section of Industry have been organized and a number of related industry come to a 4000 species. Scientific foundation for ultrasonic scale preventing devices construction was given in 40S-50S of this century but their production in former USSR was organized later in 70th. Several different principles of scale preventing is overviewed together with physical principles of ultrasonic method. Practical experience received in USSR in 80S is discussed. Technical decisions and inventions used for construction of the first device UZU-1 produced in Cheboksary plant are enumerated and principles of UZU-2 device are briefly sketched.

Polyamide (PA) is one of five engineering plastic materials which has good mechanical properties and competitive price compared to other engineering plastics and it has various applications including in the areas of automotives, electronics and aerospace industry. Even though PA market grows fast compared to other engineering plastics, it has few organized literatures regarding researches and applications. In this paper, we review overall background, characteristics, formulation, current market trends and technology development of PA resins and their composites.

We introduce Korean involvement in the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope Project and activities organized by a group of Korean astronomers as LSST Korea. The Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute plans to sign a memorandum of agreement with Large Synoptic Survey Telescope Corporation this year. Although the project will start its commissioning observation around 2020, Korean preparation for the LSST era should be initiated now because of an unprecedented amount of data produced in the LSST. We explain current status of our efforts for the LSST Korea.
