This paper re-examines the impacts an institutional arrangement may have on labour market outcomes such as the employment and unemployment rates. Based on the results from a generalized econometric model, the generosity of unemployment insurance benefits, organized labour and active labour market policy have effects on a labour market in line with previous findings. However, taxes on labour and the degree of employment protection are found to affect neither the employment rate nor the unemployment rate. Thus, some findings in this paper validate earlier findings, whereas others do not.

The purpose of this review is to explore the relevance of reminiscent behavior for the elderly individual's well-being. Various concept and prevalence of reminiscence and themes of reminiscence is investigated. Then the empirical evidence concerning the motive, pattern and the function of reminiscent behavior is reviewed. Psychological determinism, social contextualism, life course perspective are described. Since many transitions and changes are socially organized and differ strongly for social categories, life course perspective can contribute to analysis of both similarity and variation in elderly reminiscent behavior. After all it is concluded that there is evidence of reminiscent behavior can be a enhancing mediator for the elderly individual's well-being.

On the basis of karyotypic analysis performed by conventional staining and Giemas C-banding technique, cytological relationship was inferred for 21 lines of Paeonia lactiflora Pal. cultivated in Korea. It was very difficult to infer their organized karyotypic classification system using the composition of somatic chromosomes involving sat-chromosomes, relative length of chromosomes, arm ratio and karyotypic formulae by conventional staining. From the distribution and number of Giemsa C-bands on the chromosomes b and c, 21 lines can be subclassified into 5 groups. It seems that the karyotypic polymorphism is observed in 21 lines of cultivated P. lactiflora because peony mainly propagates by outbreeding.

This paper is organized as follows. Section 2 illustrates several applications of neural networks. Section 3 presents the theoretical aspects of the major neural network paradigms as well as the structure of the back -propagation network used in the study. Section 4 describes the experiment including data analysis, modeling, and the performance criteria followed by the detailed discussion of the experimental results. Future research avenues including advantages and limitations of neural network are presented in the last section.

As multiple functions arc required in a robot controller, RTOS(Real Time Operating System) should be adopted to manage complex situations, such as choosing most urgent task among competing ones. In this paper, we implemented RTAI(Real Time Application Interface) based robot controller for wafer handling robots including graphic simulator. We showed how multiple tasks are organized and also explained in detail about task priorities and execution periods. Finally, we presented simulation results.

Molecular orientation and polarity of solubilization site of dipolar azobenzenes solubilized in micellar solutions are discussed. The polarity of solubilization was estimated by using Taft $\pi$$^*$ scale with linear solvation energy relationship, $\Delta$E=$\Delta$E$_0$ + S($\pi$$^*$ + d$\delta$)+a$\alpha$ + b$\beta$. Hydrogen bonding effects were taken into account for the estimation of micropolarity. The polarity that azobenzenes experienced in the miceliar solutions was close to water which represented that the azobenzenes were mostly solubilized at the interface. For the orientations of azobenzenes were concerned, the nitro group of NPNOH faced the interface and the hydroxy group of NPNO$^-$ located at the interfacial area.

Pseudomonas sp. DJ-12 was able to degrade 4-chlorobenzoate by hydrolytic dechlorination to produce 4-hydroxybenzoate and chloride ion. The fcbABC genes responsible for the hydrolytic dechlorination were cloned from the chromosomal DNA of the organism. The genes were found to be organized in the order fcbB-fcbA-fcbC, but there was an intergenic space between the fcbA and fcbC genes.

A Mobile Ad Hoc Network is a system of wireless mobiles nodes that dynamically self-organized in arbitrary and temporary network topologies allowing people and devices to inter-network without any preexisting communication infrastructure. Taking into account its nature and challenges and security issues, we present current security solution and analyse the scheme for protecting attacks.
