구조성 데이터의 입체식 계수기법에 의한 벡터 처리개념의 설계 (An Architecture of Vector Processor Concept using Dimensional Counting Mechanism of Structured Data)

  • 스칼라 처리지향의 기계에서 벡터 처리를 위해서는 스칼라 처리가 벡터 요소 수 만큼 수행되어야 한다. 소위 von Neumann원리에 의한 벡터 처리기법이다. 메모리를 악세스 하는 장치로는 명령어의 순차적 계수를 위한 프로그램 계수기 뿐이기 때문에 벡터 데이터의 악세스는 명령어의 지시나 또는 ALU 의 주소 계산에 의해 수행되어 야 한다. 여기서는 재래식 개념의 하드웨어적 결합을 보충하기 위해 벡터 요소들을 입체적으로 악세스하기 위한 악세스 장치의 설계를 제안한다. 벡터의 구조 처리를 위한 필요성은 명령어군에 포함되었고 그들 명령어들은 데이터 처리와 동시에 데이터 악세스 안에 처리되도록 한다.

교대 근무 간호사와 비교대 근무 간호사 간의 수면, 피로도 및 신경인지기능 차이 (Differences in Sleep, Fatigue, and Neurocognitive Function between Shift Nurses and Non-shift Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in sleep, fatigue, and neurocognitive function between shift nurses and non-shift nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study design was used. A total of 100 nurses participated in the study. 50 were shift nurses and the remaining 50 were non-shift nurses. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Fatigue Severity Scale, and a computerized neurocognitive function test (CNS Vital Signs-VS4) were administered to the subjects to assess verbal and visual memory, processing speed, reaction time, and simple attention. After the last night shift, the shift nurse conducted the study at around 8:00 am and the non-shift nurse participated after work. Results: Compared to non-shift nurses, shift nurses had a significantly lower sleep quality (p=.002) and higher fatigue (p=.001) and achieved significantly lower scores on verbal memory (p=.001), processing speed (p=.003), and reaction time (p=.018). There were significant correlations between sleep quality and processing speed (p=.042), and reaction time (p=.015) of shift nurses who were bad sleepers. Conclusion: This study findings suggest shift work could interfere with cognitive function. Personal and organizational programs should be developed to support their sleep and neurocognitive function.

학술자원 공동 활용 기반구축사업 개선 방안 연구 (Implementation Strategy on Sharing Resources to Organizational Change)

  • 본 연구는 통합 연구재단의 출범을 앞두고 양 기관에서 운영 중인 학술자원 공동 활용 기반 구축 사업에 대한 개편안을 마련하고, 양 기관에서 현재 운영 중인 사업에 대한 비교 분석 및 장 단점 분석을 통해 향후 통합재단에서의 운영방안을 마련하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 한국학술진흥재단과 한국과학재단에서 운영 중인 학술자원 공동 활용 기반구축 사업을 중심으로, 관리 서비스 인프라 측면의 현황 분석을 통해 이슈 및 시사점을 도출하고, 이를 토대로 사업의 성과와 개선과제를 도출하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 양 재단에서 추진하고 있는 사업과 정보시스템의 통합은 두 가지 측면으로 나누어 각각의 주요 영역별 방안을 살펴보았는데, 우선 양 재단에서 추진하고 있는 정보서비스 관련 사업의 운영체제의 통합을 통해 새로운 차원의 학술연구 정보서비스를 창출해 내는 조직 방안을 제시하였으며, 다음으로 양 재단 내 단위 시스템으로 분산되어 정보서비스 시스템들의 통합을 통한 연구자들의 단일화된 통합 서비스 제공 방안을 모색하였다.

국회 라키비움의 전망에 관한 연구 - 기억기관 협력 정책에 관한 논의를 중심으로 - (A Study on Perspectives of the National Assembly Larchiveum: Focused on Discussion about Collaborative Strategies of Memory Institutions)

  • 국가적 책무를 부여받은 국회와 그 소속 기관들이 맡은 바 기능과 역할을 수행하는 과정에서 생산, 접수, 관리하는 지식정보자원들은 우리의 역사이자 민주주의의 증거로서 큰 가치를 지니며, 이에 대한 관리 및 보존활동은 국가적 과업이다. 그러나 국회 지식정보자원을 책임지고 있는 국회도서관, 국회기록보존소, 헌정기념관 등의 모습은 그 막중한 책무에 부합하고 있지 못하다. 이러한 맥락에서, 본 연구는 국회 문화유산과 지식정보를 공히 다루는 세 기관들의 통합적 발전 전략으로서 '국회 라키비움' 수립에 대한 필요충분조건을 분석하고 그 전망을 모색하는 데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 협력정책의 필요성, 절차, 성공요인에 대한 다양한 문헌을 살피고, 협력 사례들을 그 수준과 지리적 범주를 기준으로 유형화 한다. 이를 바탕으로 국회 기억기관의 연혁과 협력의 장애요인을 논의하고, 통합을 위한 대안을 모색한다. 결론에 갈음하여, 국회 기억기관 간의 비전 공유와 신뢰구축 활동으로부터 국회 라키비움의 내용적 완성에 이르는 단계적 전략을 제시한다.

  • This research paper describes a complex and vague settings in which organization makes a decision and explains a role of decision maker's learning process. The original paper, written by Cohen, March, Olsen in 1972, said that all members of organization depended on the technology taken through trials and errors, which is the 'learning' process literally. But they intended to exclude the learning process in their simulation model because their PORTRAN model couldn't replicate the learning concept. As a result, they couldn't explain how all agents of garbage can simulation model resolve the problem dynamically. To overcome this original paper's limitations, we try to rebuild a learning process simulation model using by system dynamics approach that can capture the linkage between organization leanings and agents-based decision-makings. Our learning simulation results reveal two points. First, decision maker's leanings process improves the efficiency of decision making in complex situation. Second, group learning shows a superior efficiency to an individual learning because group members share organizational memory and energy.

Relationship Brand Orientation and Internal Brand Equity at Internet Service Providers: An Organization Change Readiness Effect

  • The midst competition makes a brand all together with its offering products and services is becoming a crucial element for company existence. This requires direct involvement from internal organizational to develop effective strategic branding. According to Asosiasi Penyelenggara Internet Indonesia (APJII), Indonesia's internet penetration is among the highest in Asia. The purpose of this research is to improve the strategic role of brand orientation within Internet Service Provider (ISP) for maximizing return on the company's financial and non-financial benefits by proposing organization change readiness variable. The data collection is taken using an online survey with a non-parametric sampling method and collected 68 qualified respondents for data analysis using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square). The result indicates partial hypotheses on the constructed model between variables brand orientation, brand commitment, and internal brand equity is acceptable. Another finding is stated hypotheses on organization change readiness as moderation is not accepted and means there is no significance to the constructed model. The main conclusion resumes associative human memory can shape up organization change readiness inside internal toward then brand. Relevant cues generate information received in the human brain then will create common associative and becoming social identity on internal brand equity.

소셜네트워킹서비스와 업무성과와의 관계 연구 : 트랜스엑티브 메모리역량의 매개효과와 사용시간의 조절효과를 중심으로 (An Analysis of Social Networking Service on the Organizational Performance: Mediating effect on Transactive Memory Capabilities and Moderating effect on Time)

  • 인터넷 기술이 발전하면서 SNS도 발전하고 있지만 SNS에 대한 연구는 개인적 특성에 관한 연구가 대부분으로 재미와 오락을 위해 SNS를 이용하고 업무에는 유용하지 않다고 판단하고 있다. 하지만 SNS가 업무 영역까지 긍정적인 효과가 파급되지 않는다면 SNS의 발전은 한계에 다다를 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존 연구와는 달리 업무적 관점에서 SNS가 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 독립변수로 SNS몰입, 매개변수로 트랜스엑티브메모리역량, 조절변수로 SNS사용시간, 그리고 종속변수로 업무성과를 사용하여 연구를 진행하였다. 분석 결과 SNS몰입은 트랜스엑티브메모리역량과 업무성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 트랜스엑티브메모리역량도 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또 SNS몰입이 트랜스엑티브메모리 역량에 영향을 미칠 때 SNS사용시간이 긍정적으로 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 관행적으로 SNS를 오랜 시간 이용하는 것이 업무와 무관하거나 방해된다는 의견과는 달리 성과에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 실증한 것이다. 이러한 결과는 선행연구와는 다른 결과이며 선행연구들은 SNS가 성과와 관련이 없다고 주장한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 선행연구가 고려하지 못한 매개변수가 있을 것이라 추정하고 새로운 기억방식인 트랜스엑티브메모리역량이 실제로 SNS와 성과간의 관계를 완전히 매개하고 있음을 실증했다.

조계종 총무원 보존기록물 정리방법에 대한 사례연구 (A Case Study on Arranging Archives of Administrative Headquarters of the Jogye Order)

  • This paper reports the project of arranging archives of Administrative Headquarters of the Jogye Order. It illustrates the whole process of preliminary survey, arrangement, appraisal and description of the archives. One of the distinctive features of the project lies in its focus on practical considerations. In other words, it has avoided blindly following theoretical recommendations made by previous efforts. First step of the project has been to review the current state of the archives through preliminary survey as well as analysis of related regulations. Second step has followed to establish actual process of classifying, appraising, describing, filing and designing storage facility management as well as a computerized archival management system. In this process, every concern has been given to prevent records and archives from physical damage and to ensure their intellectual order kept so that archival information could be re-constructed and usability and efficiency of the records could be secured. Major contributions made by the project can be found in that it has reviewed the volume of administrative archives created and held by Jogye Order and improved the overall efficiency of as well as information sharing among personnel at the Headquarter. The most notable accomplishment could be, however, found in that the project has helped the personnel to rediscover their own history from their records, rather than from their memory. From the theoretical perspective of archival science, the meaning of the project can also be found in that it has provided with the starting point toward establishing organizing methodology for organizational archives including religious archives. Arranging archives of an organization requires archivists to respect theories and principles, but at the same time, adequate attention should be paid to reflect idiosyncratic characteristics of the organization. General methods applicable to a wider range of archives could be derived from the very endeavor. Though impossible in a short period of time, it could be accomplished by accumulating theoretical and practical knowledge and experience.

시맨틱 웹 기술혁신의 채택과 확산: 질적연구접근법 (The Adoption and Diffusion of Semantic Web Technology Innovation: Qualitative Research Approach)

  • Internet computing is a disruptive IT innovation. Semantic Web can be considered as an IT innovation because the Semantic Web technology possesses the potential to reduce information overload and enable semantic integration, using capabilities such as semantics and machine-processability. How should organizations adopt the Semantic Web? What factors affect the adoption and diffusion of Semantic Web innovation? Most studies on adoption and diffusion of innovation use empirical analysis as a quantitative research methodology in the post-implementation stage. There is criticism that the positivist requiring theoretical rigor can sacrifice relevance to practice. Rapid advances in technology require studies relevant to practice. In particular, it is realistically impossible to conduct quantitative approach for factors affecting adoption of the Semantic Web because the Semantic Web is in its infancy. However, in an early stage of introduction of the Semantic Web, it is necessary to give a model and some guidelines and for adoption and diffusion of the technology innovation to practitioners and researchers. Thus, the purpose of this study is to present a model of adoption and diffusion of the Semantic Web and to offer propositions as guidelines for successful adoption through a qualitative research method including multiple case studies and in-depth interviews. The researcher conducted interviews with 15 people based on face-to face and 2 interviews by telephone and e-mail to collect data to saturate the categories. Nine interviews including 2 telephone interviews were from nine user organizations adopting the technology innovation and the others were from three supply organizations. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. The interviews were recorded on digital voice recorder memory and subsequently transcribed verbatim. 196 pages of transcripts were obtained from about 12 hours interviews. Triangulation of evidence was achieved by examining each organization website and various documents, such as brochures and white papers. The researcher read the transcripts several times and underlined core words, phrases, or sentences. Then, data analysis used the procedure of open coding, in which the researcher forms initial categories of information about the phenomenon being studied by segmenting information. QSR NVivo version 8.0 was used to categorize sentences including similar concepts. 47 categories derived from interview data were grouped into 21 categories from which six factors were named. Five factors affecting adoption of the Semantic Web were identified. The first factor is demand pull including requirements for improving search and integration services of the existing systems and for creating new services. Second, environmental conduciveness, reference models, uncertainty, technology maturity, potential business value, government sponsorship programs, promising prospects for technology demand, complexity and trialability affect the adoption of the Semantic Web from the perspective of technology push. Third, absorptive capacity is an important role of the adoption. Fourth, suppler's competence includes communication with and training for users, and absorptive capacity of supply organization. Fifth, over-expectance which results in the gap between user's expectation level and perceived benefits has a negative impact on the adoption of the Semantic Web. Finally, the factor including critical mass of ontology, budget. visible effects is identified as a determinant affecting routinization and infusion. The researcher suggested a model of adoption and diffusion of the Semantic Web, representing relationships between six factors and adoption/diffusion as dependent variables. Six propositions are derived from the adoption/diffusion model to offer some guidelines to practitioners and a research model to further studies. Proposition 1 : Demand pull has an influence on the adoption of the Semantic Web. Proposition 1-1 : The stronger the degree of requirements for improving existing services, the more successfully the Semantic Web is adopted. Proposition 1-2 : The stronger the degree of requirements for new services, the more successfully the Semantic Web is adopted. Proposition 2 : Technology push has an influence on the adoption of the Semantic Web. Proposition 2-1 : From the perceptive of user organizations, the technology push forces such as environmental conduciveness, reference models, potential business value, and government sponsorship programs have a positive impact on the adoption of the Semantic Web while uncertainty and lower technology maturity have a negative impact on its adoption. Proposition 2-2 : From the perceptive of suppliers, the technology push forces such as environmental conduciveness, reference models, potential business value, government sponsorship programs, and promising prospects for technology demand have a positive impact on the adoption of the Semantic Web while uncertainty, lower technology maturity, complexity and lower trialability have a negative impact on its adoption. Proposition 3 : The absorptive capacities such as organizational formal support systems, officer's or manager's competency analyzing technology characteristics, their passion or willingness, and top management support are positively associated with successful adoption of the Semantic Web innovation from the perceptive of user organizations. Proposition 4 : Supplier's competence has a positive impact on the absorptive capacities of user organizations and technology push forces. Proposition 5 : The greater the gap of expectation between users and suppliers, the later the Semantic Web is adopted. Proposition 6 : The post-adoption activities such as budget allocation, reaching critical mass, and sharing ontology to offer sustainable services are positively associated with successful routinization and infusion of the Semantic Web innovation from the perceptive of user organizations.
