유기농업의 온실가스 감축효과 (Effects of Organic Farming on Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze effects of greenhouse gas reduction in organic agriculture. To accomplish the objective of the study, a field survey was conducted. Based on the field survey results, LCA method was used to estimate the greenhouse gas emission. The farmer survey and LCA estimation data were provided by The Foundation of Agricultural Technology Commercialization and Transfer. The GHG estimation results showed that GHG emission of organic farming is less by 10.6~89.3% when compared with the conventional farming. In addition, the economic value of greenhouse gas reduction in organic farming amounts to 1,097 million won. Based on major findings, in response to national greenhouse gas reduction target, it is needed to expand organic farming, supporting organic farmers' income.

이온화가스에 의한 축산폐수 처리 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Characteristics of Livestock Wastewater Treatment by Ionized Gas)

  • This paper was studied about the characteristics of treatment by ionized gas for livestock wastewater, aiming at the effects of ionized gas on organic matter, hydrophobic and hydrophilic organic matter in livestock wastewater when the new process of advanced oxidation process was applied for meeting the improved the quality of effluent. The organic matter within treated livestock wastewater by ionized gas was partially mineralized according to the time increasement. The $TCOD_{Mn}$ in the livestock wastewater was decreased from 840mg/L to 340mg/L when treated by ionized gas by the enhancement of time. We occupied the equations of $TCOD_{Cr}$, $SCOD_{Cr}$, $TCOD_{Mn}$ and $SCOD_{Mn}$ as to ionized gas treated time. As $TCOD_{Mn}$ increasing ionized gas treated time, the concentration did not meet the water quality, $COD_{Mn}$ 4Omg/L. So, for removing of the remaining organic matter in the efflent after ionized gas, following process is necessary. After treating the livestock wastewater by ionized gas, coagulation was considerable for organic matter removal up to regulation water quality. From UV scans of the treated livestock wastewater by ionized gas, the wastewater has low aromaticity and good colour.

  • This study was performed to investigate the variations of hydrophilic and hydrophobic organic matter fractions in soluble organic matter according to livestock wastewater treatment by ionized gas and coagulation effect to these fractions after ionized gas contact. As a result of experiment, because of ionized gas contact, particle in the surface of livestock wastewater was more smaller and the result was consisted of particle size analysis and the amount of small size was increased. Also, we confirmed that organic matters in livestock wastewater by ionized gas contact were removed. The relation equation between ionized gas contact time(X) and $TCOD_{cr}$(Y) was shown as yscale(y)=3.748-0.431* xscale(X). That between ionized gas contact time(X) and $TCOD_{cr}$(Y) was yscale(y)=3.283-0.463* xscale(X). As respects the HPL(hydrophilic matter)and HPO(hydrophobic matter) fractions of raw in livestock wastewater treatment plant, HPL fraction was 53.2% and HPO fraction was 46.8%. But, HPO fraction according to ionized gas treatment was increased at 30min and after that time, HPL fraction was increased. Also, when we performed coagulation process after ionized gas treatment of raw wastewater, the removal efficiency of organic matter was the highest at 30min of ionized gas treatment because of the variation of HPL and HPO fractions in organic matter by ionized gas. In coagulation process following after ionized gas process, HPO was removed more effective than HPL.

지방산 LB막의 온도에 대한 유기가스 반응특성 (Organic Gas Response Characteristics for Temperature of Fatty Acid LB Films)

  • The electrical characteristics of fatty acid LB films were investigated to develop the gas sensor using Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) films which have high ordered orientation and ordering structure. The deposition status of fatty acid LB films were verified by the measurements of UV absorbance. The conductivity of fatty acid LB films for horizontal direction at room temperature was about $10^8[S/cm]$,/TEX>, which was correspond to semiconductor material. The activation energy for fatty acid LB films with respect to variation of temperature was about l.O[eV]. The response characteristics for organic gas were confirmed by measuring the response time, recovery time, and reproducibility of the fatty acid LB films to each organic gas. Also, the penetration and adsorption behavior of gas molecule were confirmed through the organic gas response characteristics of fatty acid LB films with respect to temperature.

유기 가스중 고주파 글로우가전 특성에 관한 연구 (The Study on Characteristics of High Frequency Glow Discharge in Organic Vapor)

  • In this paper, the discharge phenomena of high frequency glow discharge in organic vapor are basically investigted to establish the growth mechanism and preparation technique for organic thin film. According to the increasing of discharge frequency, the discharge firing voltage(Vs) of organic vapor decreases. The dependence of discharge voltage(Vd) on gas pressure is generally in accord with Paschen's Law and Vd decreases as gas flow rate become larger, but increases as dischange current density become higher. And the values of Vd in organic vapor are generally higher than those of inorganic gas.

Fabrication of Organic-Inorganic Superlattice Films Toward Potential Use For Gas Diffusion Barrier

  • We fabricated organic-inorganic superlattice films using molecular layer deposition (MLD) and atomic layer deposition (ALD). The MLD is a gas phase process in the vacuum like to atomic layer deposition (ALD) and also relies on a self-terminating surface reaction of organic precursor which results in the formation of a monolayer in each sequence. In the MLD process, 'Alucone' is very famous organic thin film fabricated using MLD. Alucone layers were grown by repeated sequential surface reactions of trimethylaluminum and ethylene glycol at substrate temperature of $80^{\circ}C$. In addition, we developed UV-assisted $Al_2O_3$ with gas diffusion barrier property better than typical $Al_2O_3$. The UV light was very effective to obtain defect-free, high quality $Al_2O_3$ thin film which is determined by water vapor transmission rate (WVTR). Ellipsometry analysis showed a self-limiting surface reaction process and linear growth of each organic, inorganic film. Composition of the organic films was confirmed by infrared (IR) spectroscopy. Ultra-violet (UV) spectroscopy was employed to measure transparency of the organic-inorganic superlattice films. WVTR is calculated by Ca test. Organic-inorganic superlattice films using UV-assisted $Al_2O_3$ and alucone have possible use in gas diffusion barrier for OLED.

염소의 토양 침적특성에 미치는 토양 내 유기물 함량의 영향 (A Study on the Influence of the Organic Matter Contents in Soil Deposited of Chlorine Gas)

  • 독성가스 사고 시 토양 침적은 사고피해범위에 영향을 미치는 주요 변수이다. 본 연구에서는 토양의 깊이 및 유기물 함량 비율이 독성가스 염소의 토양 침적 특성에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 실험에 이용된 장치로는 미국의 Air Force Research Laboratory에서 구축한 장치를 벤치마킹하였다. 다양한 합성토양을 이용해 유기물의 함량을 변화시키면서 토양 침적실험을 진행하였다. 다양한 합성토양에 일정 농도의 염소를 노출시킨 후, 염소 침적의 정도를 정량화하기 위해 음이온 크로마토그래피를 이용하여 침적량을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 토양 표면에서의 침적량 변화에 비해 깊이에 따른 침적량의 변화 경향은 볼 수 없었으나, 염소 노출 시간에 따른 표면 침적량의 차이는 증가함을 확인 할 수 있었다. 또한, 유기물 함량에 따른 침적량은 유기물 함량이 증가함에 따라 비례관계를 보였다. 토양 표면에서의 염소 침적량의 증가는 주로 토양 내 유기물 함량에 의존함을 확인하였다.

  • Polymer-coated piezoelectric crystals were applied to analyze response characteristic of organic gases. AT-cut quartz crystal with 9 MHz resonant frequency can measure mass of 1 nanogram. Flow type gas-sensing system was used in this experiment. Flow type gas-sensing system has very simple apparatus and shows very fast frequency response for injection of organic gas. We have made parameter using relaxation ratio of frequency response for organic gas. Consequently, we found that the parameter had no relation with quantity of gas injection and dipping.

해저 퇴적토 내 유기성 메탄 회수를 위한 가스하이드레이트 치환기법 연구 (A Study on Gas Hydrate Replacement Method for Organic Methane Recovery in Ocean Sediment)

  • 본 연구에서는 압력, 전해질, 유기물 등 가스하이드레이트 부존 지역의 물리화학적 인자가 치환반응에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 규명하였다. 가스 주입 시 초기 압력이 높을수록 초반 반응속도는 향상되었으나 시간이 지남에 따라 치환효율이 일정한 값으로 수렴하였다. 전해질과 유기물 등의 경우 가스하이드레이트 해리 후 재생성 과정에서 일부 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 향후 실제 유기성 메탄 하이드레이트가 부존된 퇴적토를 활용한 추가 연구를 통해 국내 해저 지질특성에 적용 가능한 기술 개발이 가능할 것으로 기대된다. 궁극적으로 향후 동해 울릉 분지의 가스하이드레이트 매장 지역 현장 적용을 통해서 유기성 자원인 메탄을 회수하고 활용할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

The electrical characteristics of stearic acid LB ultra-thin films for the horizontal direction were investigated to develop the gas sensor using LB ultra-thin films. The optimal deposition condition to deposit the LB ultra-thin films was obtained from $\pi-A$ isotherms and the deposition status of stearic acid LB ultra-thin films was verified by the measurement of deposition ratio, UV-absorbance, and electrical properties for LB ultra-thin films. The conductivity of stearic acid LB ultra-thin films for horizontal direction was about $10_{-8}[S/cm]$. The activation energy for LB ultra-thin films with respect to variation of temperature was about 1.0[eV], which was correspond to semiconductor material. The response characteristics for organic gas were confirmed by measuring the response time, recovery time, and reproducibility of the LB ultra-thin to each organic gas. Also, the penetration and adsorption behavior of gas molecule were confirmed through the organic gas response characteristics of LB ultra-thin films with respect to temperature.
