  • In this study, we fabricated white organic light emitting devices (WOLEDs) to use single emission layer, DPVBi with partially doped Rubrene. To realize white color, rubrene with 3.6% was partially doped with the gap from interface between DPVBi and hole transport layer NPD in a definite DPVBi layer. As the gap was increased, the intensity of orange peak grows less and less. The WOLED with gap of $5\;{\AA}$ has the best color stability and its color coordination is (0.345, 0.321) at 6V.

  • We report the light illumination effect on the performance of pentacene organic thin-film transistor (OTFT). The TFT performance with and without illumination were measured at various temperatures. The off-state currents increase linearly with light intensity in the region of gate voltage where the holes are majority carriers in the TFT channel. The minimum photocurrents of OTFT increase with increasing light intensity.

  • We fabricated an efficient top emission organic light emitting diode (FTEOLED) on paper substrates. For water proof and surface planarization, parylene of 5mm thick has been coated on copy paper substrate by vapor polymerization. As use this coating layer, fabrication of device was possible by photolithography and wet etching. Because paper is not transparent, we adapted top emission structure with transparent cathode and reflective anode. The FTOLED on paper showed the excellent electrical characteristic, $109cd/m^2$, 2.3cd/A at 10V.

  • In this study, 6,13-Bis(4-propylphenyl)pentacene was synthesized and characterized. The structures of the products that were obtained during the reaction steps were identified via FT-IR and NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The compound was found to be soluble in organic solvents like chloroform, dichloromethane, THF, and toluene. The charge transport mobility was $10^{-4}cm^2V^{-1}s^{-1}$, and the on/off current ratio was $10^2$, while the compound was 2.5 times more stable under oxidation in a solution compared with pentacene.

  • In this paper, a new self-oscillated type high voltage power supply for the OPC(Organic Photo Conductor) charge is proposed, which has variable constant current source characteristics to improve the charge characteristic of the OPC roller. The proposed control method enables high quality printing characteristics regardless of the circumstance change such as ambient temperature or humidity by changing the current reference signal. To verify the proposed control method various experiments are performed.

  • The variation of the electrical characteristics of thin-film transistors (TFTs) causes a non-uniform image quality problem, and the differential aging of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) devices causes an image-sticking problem. A video data correction method is proposed herein as an effective solution to the non-uniform electro-optical characteristics of the pixels in activematrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) displays. The results of the simulation that was conducted show that the proposed method successfully senses the electrical characteristics of TFTs and the degradation of OLEDs and effectively compensates for them.

  • Characteristics of organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) were studied with devices made by PECCP[poly(3,6-N-2-ethylhexyl carbazolyl cyanoterephthalidene)] Langmuir-Blodget(LB) films. The emissive organic material was synthesized and named PECCP, which has a strong electron donor group and an electron accepter group in main chain repeated unit. The LB technique was employed to investigate the identification of the recombination zone in the ITO/PECCP LB films/Alq$_3$/Al structure by varying the LB film thickness. PECCP was considered as an emissive layer and Alq$_3$was used as an electron-transport layer. We measured current-voltage(I-V) characteristics, UV/visible absorption, PL spectrum, and EL spectrum of those devises.

  • The chemical structure of the interface between Ag with $Li_2O$ and tri (8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum (Alq) was investigated by using in-situ characterization of x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS). $Li_2O$ on Ag had lower barrier height than LiF on Ag. XPS and UPS results show the interaction between $Li_2O$ and Alq leads to gap state formation in HOMO of Alq.
