유한요소법과 경계요소법의 교호적용에 의한 무한영역해석 (A Numerical Calculation of Open Boundary Problem by Applying FEM and BEM Alternately)

  • The finite element method (FEM) is suitable for the analysis of a complicated region that includes nonlinear materials, whereas the boundary element method (BEM) is naturally effective for analyzing a very large region with linear characteristics. Therefore, considering the advantages in both methods, a novel algorithm for the alternate application of the FEM and BEM to magnetic field problems with the open boundary is presented. This approach avoids the disadvantages of the typical numerical methods with the open boundary problem such as a great number of unknown values for the FEM and non-symmetric matrix for the Hybrid FE-BE method. The solution of the overall problems is obtained by iterative calculations accompanied with the new acceleration method.

Math Creative Problem Solving Ability Test for Identification of the Mathematically Gifted

  • The purpose of this study was to develop math creative problem solving test in order to identify the mathematically gifted on the basis of their math creative problem solving ability and evaluate the goodness of the test in terms of its reliability and validity of measuring creativity in math problem solving on the basis of fluency in producing valid solutions. Ten open math problems were developed requiring math thinking abilities such as intuitive insight, organization of information, inductive and deductive reasoning, generalization and application, and reflective thinking. The 10 open math test items were administered to 2,029 Grade 5 students who were recommended by their teachers as candidates for gifted education programs. Fluency, the number of valid solutions, in each problem was scored by math teachers. Their responses were analyzed by BIGSTEPTS based on Rasch's 1-parameter item-response model. The item analyses revealed that the problems were good in reliability, validity, difficulty, and discrimination power even when creativity was scored with the single criteria of fluency. This also confirmed that the open problems which are less-defined, less-structured and non-entrenched were good in measuring math creativity of the candidates for math gifted education programs. In addition, it discriminated applicants for two different gifted educational institutions and between male and female students as well.

SEXTIC MOMENT PROBLEMS ON 3 PARALLEL LINES

  • Sextic moment problems with an infinite algebraic variety are still widely open. We study the problem with a single cubic column relation associated to 3 parallel lines in which the variety is infinite. It turns out that this specific column relation has a strong connection with moment problems that have a symmetric algebraic variety. We present more concrete solutions to some sextic moment problems with a symmetric variety.

  • Multi-residential housing in Korea has many problems basically because maintenance, management, and remodelling have been done without considering building elapse and residents' needs. Residential open building has been suggested as one of the solutions. Even though the techniques have been actively developed for residential open building in Japan and the Netherlands, some obstacles are still existing. Especially in Korea, due to the lack of studies for facilitating residential open building, the development and popularization of residential open building are delayed. With the concern that the facilitation of process and systems is as important as technical development, the evaluation of process and systems is needed for promoting residential open building. As result, strong investigation of current situation can offer basic foundation to facilitate residential open building. The purpose of this study is to propose plans to facilitate residential open building in Korea through a comparative study between Korean and Japanese system.

공인인증서 기반 인터넷 뱅킹의 구현, 보안성, 그리고 편의성 분석 (Implementation, Security, and Usability Analysis of Accredited Certificate-based Internet Banking)

  • 최근 우리나라에서 활발하게 도입되고 있는 공인인증서 기반의 오픈 뱅킹은 표준 통신 프로토콜과 웹 호환성 지원을 통해 기존 공인인증서 기반의 폐쇄형 뱅킹의 갈라파고스화 문제를 상당 부분 해소할 수 있을 것으로 기대되고 있다. 그러나 새로운 오픈 뱅킹이 기존 폐쇄형 뱅킹에 대해 제기되어온 안전성 문제와 사용자 편의성 문제를 어느 정도 해소할 지에 대해서는 의문으로 남아있다. 본 논문은 기존의 공인인증서 기반의 폐쇄형 뱅킹과 오픈 뱅킹의 구현 방식 차이를 분석하고, 오픈 뱅킹이 폐쇄형 뱅킹이 안고 있는 보안성과 편의성 문제를 어느 정도 해소하고 있는지 분석하는데 초점을 맞추고자 한다. 이 분석은 기존 폐쇄형 뱅킹이 15년 이상 서비스를 제공하는 과정에서 제기된 보안성 취약점, 보안성 강화를 위해 적용된 대응책, 대응책의 편의성에 대한 영향을 먼저 분석하고, 폐쇄형 뱅킹과 오픈 뱅킹의 구현 방식 차이를 통해 오픈 뱅킹의 보안성과 편의성을 추론하는 방식으로 진행되었다. 분석 결과 오픈 뱅킹이 여전히 안고 있는 보안성과 편의성 문제를 해소하기 위해 향후 오픈 뱅킹이 어떻게 개선되어야 하는지에 대해서도 간략하게 논의하고자 한다.

  • 수학 영재들은 타고난 수학적 소질과 적성, 지적인 능력과 창의성을 바탕으로 참신한 과제에 대한 도전적이고 창조적인 호기심을 가지고 있다. 영재아들의 창의적인 사고력을 길러주기 위해서는 다양한 방법으로 문제 해결에 접근하게 하고 전략적 시도를 할 수 있도록 만들어주어야 한다. 이런 관점에서 볼 때 개방적이고 비정형적인 문제를 영재 교육프로그램의 과제로 선정하는 것은 바람직하다 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 유형의 개방형 문제를 구안하고, 이를 토대로 영재 학급에서 학습 활동을 전개한 후, 문제해결 과정에서 영재아들의 수학적 사고 능력의 특성과 문제 해결 전략 사례를 분석하여, 개방형 과제를 활용한 초등학교 영재 수업에 관한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다.

OAI 기반 Open Digital Library 연구 (A Study on the OAI based Open Digital Library)

  • 현재 디지털라이브러리는 상호운용성의 문제, 콘텐트 확장의 한계, 편리한 관리 환경의 필요성에 직면해 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해선 표준화와 상호운용성이 전제된 시스템이 필요하다. 이런 문제를 근원적으로 해결해 줄 수 있는 차세대 디지털라이브러리 시스템으로 주목 받고 있는 것이 Open Digital Library이다. 여기서는 Open Digital Library의 사상적 기반이 된 OAI 및 OAI-PMH에 대해 조사하였으며, Open Digital Library 프레임워크, 설계 주안점, 적용사례를 연구하였다. 끝으로 표준화된 요소기술을 활용한 Open Digital Library의 발전방향과 확장성을 제시하였다.

대학도서관의 오픈액세스 기반 전자저널 구독을 위한 운영모델 연구 (A Study on the Operational Model for Open Access Based e-Journal Subscription of University Library)

  • 본 연구에서는 대학도서관이 직면하고 있는 전자저널의 오픈액세스로 인해 발생한 기존 전자저널 구독방식에 미치는 문제점들을 파악하고, 이를 해결할 수 있도록 오픈액세스 기반의 구독을 위한 운영모델을 제안하였다. 제안한 운영모델은 구독모델, 체계, 정책, 운영의 네 가지 개념을 현실에 맞게 해석한 모델로 전자저널의 합리적 구독을 전제로 하여 오픈액세스를 적용한 것이다. 국가지원, 통괄적 운영, 오픈액세스 기반 모델, 협력체계 구축을 주요 내용으로 하여 구현하였고 특히 국가지원체계로 안정적이고 지속적 학술정보 확보가 필요하다는 점을 강조하였다. 제안된 운영모델은 국내 오픈액세스 연구과 실현을 위한 기초 자료로 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

초등학교 과학과 자유탐구 활동에서 교사와 학생이 겪는 어려움 분석 (Analysis of Elementary Teachers' and Students' Views about Difficulties on Open Science Inquiry Activities)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the elementary teachers' views and students' views about the difficulties in teaching and learning on open inquiry activities of elementary school science. Semi-structured interviews were conducted individually with three elementary teachers who have serviced more than three years, and with twenty four elementary students attending schools located in Cheongju City. And their anecdotes were collected and analyzed. The interview questions were developed through Seidman's steps to acquire the reliability in the interview data. From the interviews and anecdotes, we found that elementary teachers' views about the difficulties of teaching open inquiry activities: the difficulties of teaching in finding inquiry problem and planning inquiry, the difficulties of managing group activities, the difficulties of managing class hours for inquiry, the lack of the students' inquiry abilities, and problems on students' affective characteristics. And the students have the views about the difficulties in doing open inquiry activities: the difficulties of finding inquiry problem and planning inquiry, being unaccustomed to write reports, the troubles with investigating, problems on affective characteristics, the difficulties of joining in a group, and the lack of inquiry abilities. The teachers give suggestions for effective application of the open inquiry activities: first, the teachers must encourage students' emotion and will in doing open inquiry activities, second, there must be the steady inquiry teaching and learning in ordinary elementary science classes. Based on the results, this study suggested that elementary teachers should concern specially about students' being unaccustomed to write reports and the troubles in doing scientific investigation.

중학교 가정교과의 열린교육 활성화를 위한 수업 모듈 및 웹 기반 교육자료 개발 (Development of Instructional Modules and Web-based materials for Promoting Active Implementation of Open Home Economics Education In Middle School)

  • This study is about open and secondary level Home Economics Education which is applicable to field and which includes the characteristics, purpose and problems of each open education, secondary education and home economics education. Based on the ideology of open education this study will identify the meaning of openness in terms of Home Economics Education reconstructing meaning purpose, characteristics, curriculum paradigm and curriculum. The instructional model and module which use web, will be presented as the results o the reconstruction works. The open instructional module in Home Economics Education which will be operated on the web is consisted of 1) setting the orientation of curriculum development 2) instructional model development 3) rebuilding the Home Economics Education curriculum 4)development of instructional modules and web-based materials and 5)construction of the web-site. Six instructional module begin with critical/emancipatory curriculum paradigm in open Home Economics Education use module as a unit of class management instead of 1 class, facilitates nest-type integration which is applied from open education keeping the nature of Home Economics Education and focus on practical problem and problem solving through reconceptualization with dialectical perspective on individual, family and society. The practical problem solving model has four steps: Identifying practical problems. Understanding the contexts of problem, Searching for solutions and examining its consequences, Action and evaluation. The web-site has to be developed based on the six instructional module includes those issues : self-identification for reinforcing autonomy and self-esteem, living with family living with friends, autonomous living healthy living and understanding sexuality.
