Filtered Velocity Feedback 제어기를 이용한 양단지지보의 능동진동제어 (Active Vibration Control of Clamped Beams Using Filtered Velocity Feedback Controllers)

  • This paper reports a filtered velocity feedback(FVF) controller, which is an alternative to direct velocity feedback(DVFB) controller. The instability problems due to high frequency response under DVFB can be alleviated by the suggested FVF controller. The FVF controller is designed to filter out the unstable high frequency response. The FVF controller and the dynamics of clamped beams under forces and moments are first formulated. The effects of the design parameters(cut-off frequency, gain, and damping ratio) on the stability and the performance are then investigated. The cut-off frequency should be selected not to affect the system stability. The magnitude of the open loop transfer function(OLTF) at the cut-off frequency should be small. As increasing the gain of the FVF controller, the magnitude of the OLTF is increased, so that the closed loop response can be reduced more. The enhancement of the OLTF at the cut-off frequency is reduced but the phase behavior around the cut-off frequency is distorted, as the damping ratio is increased. The control performance is finally estimated for the clamped beam. More than 10 dB reductions in velocity response can be achieved at the modal frequencies from the first to eighth modes.

강관압입후 슬롯 홀을 갖는 비개착 터널공법의 현장적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sites Application of Non-open-cut Tunnel Method with Slot Holes in Steel Pipe Pumping)

  • In the study, a new non-open cut tunnel steel pipe method using slot hole has been developed. As is overcomes shortcomings of conventional methods, it is applied to the field. The main concept of the new method is the steel pipe pumping system with slot holes which, by means of formation slot holes between each steel pipe, applied to the magnitude of the relaxed earth pressure caused by excavation to the ground to prevent ground displacement. The stability of the support members and effect of displacement control of the new method were verified through several ways as numerical analysis and site test. The new method was applied to the construction of a 11.5m wide, 7.4m high and 50m long section that passes side subway and large buildings in inner city. By applying the new method, tunnel construction was successfully completed in 6 months. It decreases the construction period to 30% compared to that of conventional methods, and ground was almost negligible.

  • Scene change detection is an important topic because of the wide and growing range of its applications. Streaming services from many providers are increasing their capacity which causes the industry growth. The method for the scene change detection is described here and compared with the State-of-the-Art methods over the Open Video Scene Detection (OVSD) - an open dataset of Creative Commons licensed videos freely available for download and use to evaluate video scene detection algorithms. The proposed method is based on scene analysis using threshold values and smooth scene changes. A comparison of the presented method was conducted in this research. The obtained results demonstrated the high efficiency of the scene cut localization method proposed by authors, because its efficiency measured in terms of precision, recall, accuracy, and F-metrics score exceeds the best previously known results.

공사에 따른 광장형 교차로의 교통운영방안 (Proposing New Traffic Operation Method at the Large Intersection Under Consturction)

  • 본 연구는 지하철 역사 공사가 이루어지는 교통량이 많은 광장형 교차로에서의 공사중 처리 방안을 제시하는 것으로 대부분의 지하철 역사는 혼잡한 교차로에서 위치하게 되어 기존의 복공식 교통처리방안으로 할 경우에는 공사로 인한 차선감소와 차선변경으로 인한 차량지체나 사고의 위험성이 많으며 공사가 단계별로 이루어지기 때문에 공사기간도 길어지고 공사비용도 많이 소요된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 충분한 공사 작업공간의 확보와 원활한 교통소통을 제공하기 위하여 현대식 로터리에 신호운영을 도입한 방식(SMR)을 사례지점인 두류네거리에 적용하여 기존의 복공식 교통처리방안과 SMR방식에 대한 효율성을 비교${\cdot}$분석하였다. 신호로 운영되는 현대식 로터리(SMR)의 도입은 공사중 교통처리방안이 기존 복공식 교통처리방식과 대등한 교통처리 효과를 나타낼 수 있으면서, 공사를 위한 공간확보 및 공사비, 공사기간 절감 효과를 기대할 수 있는 교통처리방안이다. 본 연구에서 제시된 SMR방식은 기존의 교통처리방식의 문제점인 공사기간과 공사 작업공간 협소, 교통혼잡, 교통소통을 증진시키는 새로운 운영방식으로서 향후 광장형 교차로에서 지하철공사 뿐만 아니라 공사시 교통처리 방안으로서 광범위하게 적용될 수 있다.

Methane Emissions from Dry Cows Fed Grass or Legume Silage

  • Using an open-circuit system, we compared the methane ($CH_4$) emission from dry cows fed first-cut Timothy silage ($1^{st}$ TY), second-cut Timothy silage ($2^{nd}$ TY), second-cut Italian ryegrass silage ($2^{nd}$ IR), third-cut Italian ryegrass silage ($3^{rd}$ IR), or second-cut red clover silage ($2^{nd}$ RC) as the sole feed. The methane emission ranged from 258.2 L $day^{-1}$ to 396.5 L $day^{-1}$. The methane emission from dry cows fed red clover silage was relatively lower than that from dry cows fed grass silage. However, the methane emission per unit digestible neutral detergent fiber (NDF) intake (dNDFI) did not differ significantly between the experimental silages. The methane emission was significantly correlated with the NDF intake and digestibility. Methane emission had a significant correlation with the quadratic function of dNDFI. The differences in the daily volume of methane emission from cows fed different forages can be explained by dNDFI.

측두하악관절 내장증에서의 관절원판 전상방부착부의 자기공명영상 (MRI findings of the antero-superior attachment of the disc in TMJ internal derangement)

  • Purpose : To describe the MRI findings of the antero-superior attachment of the disc in patients with internal derangement. Materials and Methods : One hundred fifty-six MR images from 40 normal subjects and 55 abnormal subjects were classified into three study groups of normal, anterior disc displacement with reduction and anterior disc displacement without reduction. On both closed- and open-mouth proton density sagittal images, the depiction of the antero-superior attachment of the disc and its demarcation from the disc were evaluated in three cuts of lateral, central and medial one thirds of the condyle. Results : The depiction of antero-superior attachment was more frequent by the order of normal, anterior disc displacement with reduction and anterior disc displacement without reduction groups, and the significant differences were found on lateral cut of the closed images and lateral and central cuts of the open images. In study for the demarcation between the antero-superior attachment and the disc the lateral cut of the closed images and all three cuts of the open images showed significant differences. Conclusion : Open images are useful to show the difference in depiction of the antero-superior attachment of the disc among the TMJ groups.

  • 본 연구는 절화 아이리스의 노화와 절화수명에 미치는 에틸렌의 영향과 이러한 에틸렌의 작용을 억제할 수 있는 STS 전처리의 효과에 대하여 알아보고자 수행하였다. 아이리스는 1 mM STS 용액에 30분간 전처리한 후 0, $3mL{\cdot}L^{-1}$ 의 에틸렌에 24시간 노출시켰다. 봉오리 상태에서 절화 아이리스의 절화수명은 STS 전처리후 에틸렌에 노출된 것은 4.2일, 에틸렌에 노출되지 않았던 꽃은 4.6일 이었다. 반개화 상태에 수확한 아이리스의 절화수명은 STS 전처리에서 길었다. 그러나 에틸렌 노출에 의해서는 수명이 영향을 받지 않았다. 그러므로 절화 아이리스는 외생 에틸렌에 민감하지 않음을 알 수 있었다. 봉오리 상태에서 수확한 절화는 완전한 개화가 유도되지 않고 노화가 일어나는 경우가 많으므로 어느 정도 개화가 진전된 꽃을 수확하는 것이 필요한 것으로 판단되었다.

비개착공법으로 건설된 지하구조물 주변 지반 응력이완영역 규명 (Stress Release Zone Around Sub-structure Constructed by Non-open Cut Methods)

  • 최근 철도주변의 개발이 확산되고 있는 가운데 비개착공법을 이용하여 철도노반하부를 횡단하는 구조물을 시공하는 경우가 불가피하게 증가하고 있다. 그러나 기존선 하부를 횡단하는 구조물을 시공하는 경우 구조물 주변의 지반응력이완에 대하여 설계 시 검토는 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 비개착공법 시공 시 구조물 주변지반의 응력이완에 대하여 실내토조실험을 통하여 지반의 응력이완 범위를 규명하였고, 지중경사계를 이용한 현장계측을 통하여 지반의 수평변위를 계측하였으며, 수치해석을 통하여 응력이완영역 및 선로지지강성을 분석하였다. 실내토조실험 결과 Rankine의 수평토압 영역과 유사한 파괴면이 생성되었으며, 지중경사계를 이용한 현장계측 결과, 강관의 압입 시기를 기준으로 급격하게 변위가 발생하였으며, 또한 수치해석 결과 해석된 수평토압이 Rankine의 수평토압에 가깝게 나타났으며, 비개착 구조물 주변 지반의 수직응력이 약 40% 감소함에 따라 노반지지강성이 크게 저하됨을 알 수 있었다. 이는 열차의 주행안정성 영향을 미쳐 탈선의 위험이 증가하므로 향후 기존선 하부를 통과하는 지하구조물 시공 시 구조물 주변의 보강이 반드시 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
